Cute local gem in downtown, which means parking will be challenging. This is the only negative. Otherwise this cozy spot in a classic Italian restaurant with amazing food and atmosphere. We made a reservation for outdoors at night and it felt nice and fresh!! Our waiter was very kind and patient with us as we took our time to order. As for the food, the bruschetta is amongst the best and all the ingredients are fresh. The Tutto Pasta is… so creamy; so tasty; so great! Loved our experience here! Would definitely recommend!!!!

The restaurant is perfect for romantic date night or family outing. The portions were generous, so plan on sharing or taking home leftovers. The complimentary bread and olive oil were delicious, the salad fresh, and the calamari crispy and light. Be sure to try the chef specials, because the lobster ravioli was fabulous. From teens to grandparents, everyone was delighted with the food, with nearly everyone taking home leftovers.

Food was very good! However, the meals are very filling and in large portions. Staff was super friendly. There was a decent amount of seating, indoor and outdoor. Not too much noise, easy to talk across the table. The music was not too loud and a perfect background noise. 10/10 recommended!

This has been my families go to place for years! They take wonderful care of you, they have the best pasta in the states hands down! Enjoy a Negroni while sitting on the patio if you know what’s good for you! Thank you again for the wonderful night!

Saleeka is a nice waitress Had some Rose, Polpo, and Salmon. All were good. Nice seating area outside. They were out of pizza and then the pizzas were being served by the time we left. We went for the pizza and it was not meant to be.

Very attentive service and they were so excited and happy for us to come. We got seated right away and we got to sit on the patio which was lovely and romantic. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the seafood pasta, margherita pizza and the mushroom papardelle with chicken. Big portions. Good prices for Palm Springs especially with the portion size. Delicious dirty martinis as well 🍸 the only thing I would not purchase again was the house salad, it was good but wasn’t very special, one tomato and one slice of cucumber and shredded carrots for $9

This authentic Italian restaurant is in a historic building with delicious food and great service. We were greeted warmly on a busy day, Christmas Day! The whole area was buzzing and all restaurants were quite packed. We locked out and got a table right away. They have a very nice patio as well! We have ordered pizza and Pasta and they were both very delicious. They had a yummy gluten-free penne, and I also enjoyed a cup of cappuccino on a beautiful warm December afternoon. There is a nice bar in the middle of restaurant for a casual drink & dine as well.

This is a gem in the heart of downtown Palm Springs! We came here for dinner with some friends and were impressed by the food and service at Kalura. We got complementary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar while we waited for our food. The caprese was a light and refreshing appetizer! We got the penne pollo e pesto and the spaghetti carbonara. The pesto was so creamy and dreamy and the carbonara was indulgent! The vibes in the restaurant were great! We can’t wait to be back!

Made reservations for 4 on the terrace. We arrived early but they happily set us at our table. The food was excellent and the service was great. Watched Santa's Sleigh all lit up travel by use.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. The first time I went, we were the last ones served, right at closing. We never felt rushed and the food was terrific. Based on this initial experience, I returned to Palm Springs for my birthday and picked Kalura Trattoria for my birthday dinner. Again, it did not disappoint. The gnocchi is the only entree I've tried here - it's so good, I don't know if I will ever try anything else. All of the salads are good, as are the appetizers. I'm vegetarian and found plenty of options. My partner is not vegetarian and had even more to choose from. The service was very slow at the end of the meal, we had to go in and find someone to pay, but the food was so good, and the service was great the rest of the time, so we can overlook this. And besides, it got very very busy while we were there. I would suggest that everyone saves room for dessert as well. You can't go wrong with the Tiramisu.

The best meal we had in Palm Springs! The dinner special the night we stopped in was halibut, sautéed spinach and potatoes...I would go back in a heartbeat for that meal! Wait staff was very kind and friendly.

(Note there isn't a bathroom in the restaurant it's right next to it at the toffee store, not the biggest issue it's just that there's only 1 single bathroom)

Overall, Very disappointed. Table for four on the outside patio around 7pm. We ordered Salads, main courses, and wine. The salads were good…not great. After over an hour waiting for our main courses…the waitress comes to our table and asks: “did you save room for dessert”? We all laughed and said “we are still waiting on our main courses”….OOOPPPS…seems like they clearly forgot about us! So another 15 minute wait and our food finally shows up…we were practically starving at that point… anxious to devour our meals…however….the food really wasn’t that good…seafood pasta and chicken parm we average at best….edible…but, nothing to write home about! I think next time we will pass by and find a better eating alternative!

The food reviews for Italian were great. Surprisingly, I was sat at a two top alone, sigh, but the maître D was wonderful and showed me where the restroom was located. Then, I sat at my table for 30 minutes waiting for my wait person. Finally, someone showed up and asked if I had been waited on yet. No apologies were given and I proceeded to ask for wine. It was a bad start then the next two people would return to ask if I was ok, again and again. The food was good. Someone did finally come back to ask if I needed another glass of wine of wine. It wasn’t that busy. Bit I guess one person doesn’t count. I ordered three dishes it was delightful. I hope they consider watching their tables when people are seated. I work hard and wanted to treat myself to a great dinner. This was sad. Better luck next time.

Worst pasta I've had in my life. In addition to that, my son and I ordered the Penne Pesto Chicken. The "chicken" tasted like it was just frozen and was forced to thaw out (Rubbery). We both got sick and immediately could feel the food wasn't sitting right. Keep in mind my son and I eat multi cultural food so we have a solid stomach lol. This is his 1st time he gets this sick from food and I spend my night sitting on a toilet. Very disappointed and not a good pick for Italian. Im amazed on the other reviews , but its appaerent that people are not aware of a good pasta.

We sat there and waited watching other people be seated as we just got ignored. People got their salads before we even got asked what we wanted to drink. We didnt get drinks anything. One of the waitresses was even staring us down with a mean face. Finally we just got up and walked out. We spoke to the manager and let him know what happened and just left. Based on the way we were ignored and treated I wouldn't reccomend it.

This is the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I used Door Dash and it was pretty highly rated. Also the Caprese salad was three pieces of mozzarella with 4 tomato slices for $18. It was edible but a poor value for the money. Do not recommend.

DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT THE RUDEST EXPERIENCE OF YOUR LIFE. WORST STAFF IVE EVER SEEN IN ANY COUNTRY. 0 hospitality training. We went there for a birthday from out of town. They rushed out all our food and appetizers, told us they want to close the kitchen and go home, while we’re eating our appetizers?!! Exact words “kitchen wants to go home early, they sent out all the food” they wanted to put 12+ plates on our table. We get upset and ask it to be sent back, only for a hostess to stand there and tell us “I don’t have to do anything” and continue to stand there and argue. The manager did nothing. Told us he’ll call the police if we don’t pay every cent of food we didn’t even touch. $400 bill, 2 plates touched.

The girl who was hosting told us there was no way for us to eat there even though there was literally no one in the restaurant. When I asked about the seating, she became sarcastic and rude. Weirdly enough, I walked back to the hotel and DoorDashed the food and they were able to make it. Don’t bother eating here.
