When you've got the itch for Dick's, you know you're still alive.
When we heard a leather bar was opening on Arenas, we were initially skeptical. But it has exceeded our expectations in every way. The owner Scott truly cares about the leather community and bringing visibility. The staff is incredible, especially our new friends Martin, Andre, Sam, and Johnnie. If you want to support visibility for the leather community, this bar is for you.
thank you to remodeling the old score bar and making the place hip. the place looks amazing and the staff rocks. we had Troy (liquid sunshine) as our bartender. cute as hell, nice too. did we mention how cute Troy is?
Nice place to stop in for a drink. Prices are fare, staff are welcomeing. Not too crowded. I just wish they have a juke box, there music was good but I like a juke box.
I just moved to Palm Springs and stumbled upon this great bar. The outside seating makes me happy and Everyone is very friendly. This will become my local goto bar.
Was helped very much by one of the locals here, to find a place to set my tent up. Very friendly, love arenas road and this place.
D D D Dicks !! Now that's an interesting name!! Love my ChurchLady mornings!!
Johnny was so full of hospitality! Great guy with amazing service! We will be back!!!
My favorite bar in Palm Springs! The bar tenders are super fun and nice but yet professional and I have always had a great time. My husband and I have lived here for almost a year now and we keep coming back for more! Thank you to the staff there for help making us feel like home!
Fun place to make new friends and get drinks at a reasonable price.
Best friday happy hour in town!! Fast and friendly bartenders, the best happy hour pricing and a great spot to sit and people watch on arenas!! Wether you’re a local or here visiting this is the place to start your weekend
10 stars is more like it ! Was visiting from out of state and decided to checkout eagle 501. It was a nice vibe and not to crowded. I went there about 6 times during my trip to palm springs and all the staff were welcoming and very friendly. The bartender Anthony was awesome and made sure that I was welcomed and enjoying myself and even introduced me to some of the regular patrons of the bar ( this was my first time in palm sprinte and i didnt know anyone ) Next time I am in Palm Springs area I will Definitely come back and re visit this bar.!! Thank you again Eagle 501 staff 😁
Nice place nice people, would go back!
Always a must visit in Palm Springs. Friendly staff and perfectly rough around the edges. Had an amazing time and the bartenders were easy to get along with and full of smiles. Thank you for an awesome birthday weekend.
My wife and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Friendly people. Brian is one hell of good bartender. Pours a great drink. Made our time there very enjoyable. Will be back!!
No food but you can order from Hunters and have it delivered. Great watering hole to take a break from shopping and the afternoon sun. Evening crowd is fun and frisky.
I love this place, went on Friday night and the music was GREAT and the bartenders were friendly. Great atmosphere.

I love this place, went on Friday night and the music was GREAT and the bartenders were friendly. Great atmosphere.
I have great prices on beer tap. I think it's worth it when I save some money and other bars don't have that many beer taps.
Really nice bar, the restrooms are fun with their wall art, bartenders are nice, and I even left my Idnetification there and they mailed it without charging me. I’d say these people are amazing! Make sure to check it out when in Palm Springs.
I enjoyed the atmosphere of the bar, albeit the small interior size. Feels like it's a very local bar, with nice pours and a people watching patio!
Love it here !! After being a veteran at Chill Bar for yearssssss and treated badly there (read my review) friends and I took our $ and good vibes here and I’ve been coming here ever since. Bartenders are nice, beer is always cold, great music/ DJ’s & it’s clean.
This is our favorite bar in the Palm Springs area and we stop in multiple times every time we visit the area. Mainly caters to gay men so you don’t see all the annoying bridesmaids parties like the other gay bars. Love Johnny the bartender! He is amazing and so personable!! They don’t have food here, but they have a QR code where you can order food from one of the other bars across the street and they will deliver here. They do have bags of chips and peanuts and beef jerky that you can buy right at the bar.
Visited PS for an overnight enroute to san Diego. Found it difficult finding a bar that was open and had a buzz. Stumbled across this gem. 4 girls (gay) we were made to feel welcome, unlike other gay venues that didn't want gals around. we enjoyed the vibe
We have visited Dick's every year we come to Palm Springs. The Staff are engaged and very helpful. Most beautiful men 😈
Geologist in town from Arizona for fieldwork. Definitely couldn't pass up checking out some gay bars while I was in the area! Super chill when I stopped by at around 6 pm. I felt super comfy here! Fun bartenders and great drinks! Going to have to bring my husband here!
There's a DJ there (only some times),(4-9p on Sat(s)....I think???)....(possibly 1st or 2nd, or..ect...Sat of month) named Donovan Brother Ginger... Down⬇️. Nicest Personality and Beautiful Spirit. Loves to bring the BOOGIE ‼️‼️‼️. Check him out... no disappointments there...... Had the best time......... Friendly Patrons. AND .... a good cocktail to boot❕
First night in Palm Springs and we went to 4 bars. By far our FAVORITE spot. Bartenders were so friendly and made us feel right at home. Carmela went above and beyond as did the two others that were working. Will always come back ❤️❤️

I thought Labor Day weekend would be popping off more, but this was the only bar on the strip that I appreciated. The staff were attentive and kept me well lubed. I will have to come back in a cooler month because 101 degree weather is not conducive to a leather outfit. I do not feel I was able to get the full experience.
Nice place for leather/fetish crowd, but drinks weren't strong, very weak and music was too loud. You have to shout at each other inside. Glad they had a popular patio outdoors. Bartenders are hot and sexy.
Tends toward an older, leatherish crowd. Generous pours. The front patio, under misters, is a great place to watch what's going on the most popular queer street in Palm Springs.

Eagle 501 is a fun bar during these COVID times. The staff follows all rules of COVID. There is enough outdoor seating so you don't need to wait to be seated on non-function events, such as leather pride. Leather Pride the bar is packed. Customer service is great. Drink selection is ok. The music is great, for me, not a disco or dance club fan here. The crowd is very mixed, and do not go to this Eagle with the expectations as you may have to other Eagle type leather cruise bars. While the bar appears to want to provide that experience, patrons suggest otherwise. For example, I wear Birkenstocks when I go to the Eagle. None of the customers or staff have shamed me or made comment so its completely acceptable attire. Age range at the bar is typical for Palm Springs, from elderly to newbie bar goers. Parking is easy. I would recommend this bar for either day or evening libations.
Solid bar in the desert. Strong drinks and nice bartenders. They have a popular happy hour with great drink prices.
The Eagle 501 has potential. It needs to decide that it's a leather bar and go for it. It also needs to get its $h!+ together as far as music goes. Tonight they were playing the Beatles(❓❗) If they don't, they're just going to be another bar on Arenas. And then, why bother?
This bar has a very different crowd from one day to another. Was here on a Friday night and the crowd seemed to be jovial and very friendly. However Saturday during the day I found the crowd to be very clicky and a little overly intoxicated.
They've fluffed up this bar a bit and it looks nice and fresh but still has that feel of a 1st class dive bar. Drinks are great and the service is spot on. Lots of men hanging out enjoying a cocktail or a cold beer. I was there during the middle of a Saturday afternoon and it was fairly busy. As for ADA access they are lacking. If you're in a wheelchair the door is small to enter and has a bit of a lip to it to get inside. Once inside the bathrooms do not accommodate an electric wheelchair. I had to park mine outside the ADA Bathroom and walk into where the pot is right next to the door. Pretty uncomfortable situation. They get an 'F' on how they remodeled for ADA accommodation.
The bouncer was super rude to our group and proceeded to tell us that their club was not our vibe. Really? We took our business to Hunters down the way, they were super friendly and inviting.
Terrible. Music at a funeral would be better than what was playing tonight. One server for our non full area, that was not attentive. We were there for 2 hours & only had 2 beers. Not because we didn't want to drink, but because he was that SLOW!!! Local restaurants had better music.
They carried the same bartenders and bar backs to this new venture. Never got served when it was the Eagle unless it was Thomas or Anthony. I’m done with this place.
I went with my wife & two girlfriends on 7/29. We were carded at the door & completely sober. It was the first stop of the night. The person carding us said "just don't be too loud in there. The men here don't like it. They will leave & we will lose business." We all thought he was joking and said "you're joking right?" With a straight face & not an once of shame he said "no". We walked in for less than a minute, and then our shock wore off. We walked right back out.
This isn’t a traditional Eagle so don’t expect leather and hot men on the patio. The food was actually good but the service was truly lacking. There was a little host wearing no shirt and he was running around but doing nothing. We waited forever to get a drink order. We waited a very long time to get our food. We even waited and had to look for our server to pay. It’s like they didn’t want our money. The host who I mentioned earlier wasn’t lifting a finger to do a thing. He just seemed to be confused and walking in circles. I’ve been in the business for a very long time and the one thing I learned is team mentality. If a server is in the weeds, you help that server out. It’s all to expedite the experience of the guests so that we can get in and get out to free up another table. So please retrain this host so that he can become a better employee. Hosting isn’t cruising. He needs to understand the difference.
Don’t come here if you’re a woman!! I went to this bar with some girlfriends for a bachelorette party. We were at the bar ordering drinks when we were openly and loudly shamed by other patrons. We were yelled at that we don’t belong there, to get out and then literally boo’d all the way to the door. I will say the bartender jumped in and told them to stop yelling at us and that everyone is welcome there. We didn’t get to thank him or get his name since we were essentially bum rushed out of the bar but we appreciated him! Otherwise, an awful and uncomfortable environment for women.
When a veteran from Southern California like Lorne quits, you know the place is out of control. Any business owner that needs Anthony Bonelli in a position of management to make things happen has a flaw in their business plan! Rude, unprofessional, and the most miserable person on Arenas, I cannot understand what he brings to the table. I have friends that look in the back door to see if he is there and leave because they do not want anything to do with him, but I am not doing that. I love Robert and everyone else, and I feel bad for anyone that needs to rely on Anthony to manage anything other than cleaning toilets. Wait until The Eagle opens. All the best!!
This is at least the THIRD REVIEW that expresses the fact that women clearly aren’t welcome at this bar. Zero stars would be preferred. There was a very uncomfortable moment where one of their customers was being very forceful onto other women. The bartender didn’t bother to offer any assistance to us women even though we had hinted at the fact that the guy was bothering us. I can only assume that the bartender was friends with this person. Not a safe environment.
Absolutely abhorrent customer service, I've never been treated so poorly at an establishment before this. The buisness hours says they're open until 2am yet this isn't the first time they've kicked out customers well before closing. At around 1:15am last night the man working the door told us they were closing and for us to "go party on the sidewalk". He came back less than 5 minutes later and started clearing our table, then literally took full drinks out of people's hands and again, told us to go party on the sidewalk. Full drinks, that people payed for, taken out of their hands like they were children. I also find it hilarious that when we first walked in the music video that was playing on the TVs was by Die Antwoord, a band that is notoriously homophobic. Don't waste your money here, there's plenty of other bars that know how to treat their customers.
Saturday and Sunday night 11 pm. Terrible drinks we had soda vodka with slide of orange the bartender didn't even.put a quarter of the vodka in the drunk in front of us so we didn't give a tip!!! Terrible drinks!!!
Fix your outdoor speaker, its been atleast 6 months with it sounding like crackling noise. Its so annoying to be on your patio with this sound! DJ Honey Davenport is djing here tonight and her music is the bomb yet this speaker sounds like she is a bad dj. A bar should always focus on their drinks and music!
Openly women hating bar / atmosphere. The bouncer is rude, assuming, and hates women. Went with a group of gay girls and had to explain that we were queer in order to be given the chance to go in.
