The wild mushroom soup was excellent. If that bowl had a handle I would have chugged it. The seafood linguine was the first time I ever had more seafood than pasta. Excellent flavors, both the soup and the pasta. And the chocolate mousse was a great way to end a perfect meal. Service was prompt and pleasant.

My husband and I dropped in for a quick happy hour beer and sat outside. Great scene of the Palm Springs strip and the misters were a welcome addition. Alexa our server, was amazing: personable, friendly and funny - her description of their truffle fries had me at hello. They were excellent! Beer was cold. We weren’t going to order food, we weren’t that hungry, but so glad we did! Thanks for the recommendation Alexa. All the staff we interacted with were so friendly. Bathrooms were clean and well appointed. The bar looked like a great place to hang out. We’ll be back!

Alexa was truly one of the best I’ve ever come across. She has such a wonderful personality and made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down. She took care of all our requests, and was a delight. The food was great, as always, and the patio was abuzz with lots of happy customers. A fun time with friends and a perfect way to start our day!

I was actually surprised having read several negative comments on the fine dining experience. I guess some individuals cannot be pleased. The attentiveness and friendly atmosphere at the venue was nothing short of exemplary and impeccable. As a group of 23, the service remained quick, efficient, and professional. The perfectly cooked and presented dishes went beyond my expectations. Wedge Salad with impeccable dressing, Pan Seared Sole, Fruit Sorbet. Well worth the visit having travelled from Niagara Falls. Great place for any occasion.

Zin American Bistro has been a fixture on Palm Canyon Drive for over twenty years. I had a nice dinner with friends to celebrate a birthday. They have a fixed price dinner menu consisting of three courses for thirty nine dollars (appetizer, entree and desert), and it’s a very good value. We all started with the delicious wedge salad and the blue cheese dressing - which was outstanding. The salmon entree was cooked perfectly, the mussels were great, the short ribs with mashed potatoes delicious, and the fried chicken was crispy and filling. We enjoyed the chocolate mousse and sorbet. Slow but attentive service ensured that a good time was had by all. A full bar, lengthy wine list, and specialty cocktails, covered all the bases. This is a reliably good restaurant serving very good food.

I liked it. I got the lobster pappardelle and it was really good. The Shirley temple was delicious as well and it looked fancy. I forgot the waiter’s name but she was very nice and even gave me a free brownie because I was celebrating my birthday. I liked the fact that the menu was made of cork as well. I would recommend this restaurant for sure.

Dinner at Zen American Bistro 01/11/25. I had a reservation for my after elopement here for my friends and I to celebrate. The atmosphere was great and the food was good too. We loved the service. Our server was very attentive and made sure everyone was okay. Other than the no kids menu. Everything was good. I'm still giving a good rating for this place. The downside is no kids' menu here. So, i wouldn't recommend this place to bring kids.

We liked Zin. Our waitress Terri was great and very knowledgeable of the main dishes. We sat outside on the very late afternoon. Weather was excellent but, we couldn’t stop making a joke about the “Wait” stop light…LOl ;) other then that is was great!.

Great atmosphere and service. We were here on Pride weekend and it was really busy. But the staff handled it well. We had a hiccup with one of our dishes. It was cold and was not our flavor. They took it back and had it removed from the bill. That is the way that restaurants should handle this problem but so many don’t. We will definitely be back!

We have been here several times recently to have dinner before a show at the restored Plaza Theatre. It's very convenient to the theatre, just a walk of a couple minutes. Each time, we have been very pleased by the service. Our server (the same each time) was friendly and helpful. Given that we had time constraints, she suggested items to avoid due to the length of preparation. The atmosphere is interesting on its outdoor patio; it's good for people-watching with the steady stream of out-of-town tourists passing by in season. The food itself, however, is disappointing. My Mussels & Frites were OK but nothing to enthuse the senses (except for the accompanying garlic bread). The pork chop was less than OK, with no trimming of fat and some gristle. That is not a fun surprise when the chop has a breading overcoat. The chocolate brownie for dessert was dry, hard, and burnt.

Overall the experience ended up on a high. Hostess was absolutely horrible, waiters was good food was better. Got Mac and cheese and was delicious. Wings on point and the sliders could have had a bit more meat but over all very good. The sangria needed more fruit :(.

Me and my husband came for a dinner and we were craving some old fashioned American food like burgers and wings and we found this place on the map. We got there at 9:15, happy to find a place open at this hour🙄 the hostess he gave us a look like why are coming at this hour, the restaurant closes at 10:30. He was not welcoming at all. And to my surprise he was the manager. Noah. He also wont let us set at. A 4 seater table although the place was empty We ordered burger, wings and truffle fries. Ooooh my god the wings were so salty and as if they were rolled in mud 🤢 and the fires were the inly edible thing Then came the burger the 1/2 pound wagu , on top of a day old bread which is not the normal bun Just ate the meat paid and left. Hope they improve but will never back. 70$ down the drain

Very disappointing experience Based on the many positive reviews, we had high expectations for Zin, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. Despite having a reservation, the hostess refused to seat us outside and insisted the only available table was in the back of the restaurant, even though several outdoor tables remained empty for the entire duration of our visit. This set a poor tone right away. The food itself was mediocre at best. The beef carpaccio was still partially frozen when served and completely lacking in seasoning. The burger was served on ciabatta bread instead of a brioche bun, which made it dry and unbalanced. The pasta sauce had no real flavor and honestly tasted like it came straight from a can. The salmon was brought out on a hot plate, yet the fish itself was cold. To make matters worse, the Russell’s Reserve 10 bourbon we ordered was clearly not Russell 10. Overall, nearly every dish fell short, and nothing we ordered met the standard we expected from a restaurant with this reputation. The only positive note was our waiter, who was friendly and did his best despite the circumstances. Sadly, this was a very underwhelming experience, and we will not be returning.
