Opinions de Pho Vu Vietnamese Palm Springs
Absolutely incredible experience. The food here is beyond delicious and the staff is unbelievably kind and welcoming. It is rare to find a place that feels this authentic. The pho is, without exaggeration, the best pho I have ever had. And I say that as someone who loves pho and orders it everywhere. The broth is incredibly flavorful and tastes clean and natural. It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy at all. The chicken is made with real chicken breast and is honestly some of the best I’ve ever had in pho. The spring rolls were also amazing. Super fresh and generously filled with shrimp and pork. Everything we ordered was so good that we literally came back the next day. We discovered this place while attending the Indian Wells tournament, and I have to say, do not miss it. This place is truly a gem. Highly recommended!
Pho Vu in La Quinta is a solid choice when you’re craving Vietnamese comfort food. The pho broth is rich and flavorful, served steaming hot with plenty of fresh herbs and toppings. Portions are generous, and the noodles are always cooked just right. The spring rolls and banh mi are also worth trying - fresh, light, and well-balanced. Service is quick and friendly, and the restaurant feels clean and casual, perfect for a relaxed meal. Prices are reasonable for the portion size. Only thing to note: it can get busy during peak times, so a little wait is possible. Still, it’s one of the better pho spots in the valley and definitely worth a visit.
I'm from out of town and quite experienced with Vietnamese restaurants. First time here and I got the combo Pho and spring roll. Both were delicious! The spring roll was fresh and peanut sauce was tasty. The soup of the pho was FULL of FLAVOR!! Often this differs between restaurants but trying this place easily I put it up there as they know exactly what they're doing. Also the slices of meats were nice and thin. AND the beef tendon was tender!!! Not hard and unchewable like some other places I have been. Also the tripe was thinly sliced so it was also easy to eat. Overall this place is a definite 👍 👌. Will return again next time!
I have been too 3 Vietnamese restaurants and this place made it to my list of places I will keep coming back to the restaurant was really nice. Service was great and the food was amazing! This was the first place that I have tried their Thai ice tea after that first sip I was hooked have been requesting that tea ever since and even put my sister-in-law onto it she is now hooked on it herself 🤣 their spring rolls was also really good. Very refreshing on a hot day. I always get their pho so so good. I can’t get enough so much flavor and they give you a Big serving.
The pho was ammmmmaaaaazing! Best I have had in a while. The broth was so flavorful. Good noodles. Lots of fresh herbs to add. Good sauces... Sriracha, fish sauce, hoisin, sweet chili. We also tried the Vietnamese pancake for lettuce wraps. So yummy. We had it with pork and shrimp. It was delicious.
Finding authentic Vietnamese pho can be challenging, but Pho Vu exceeds expectations. Having lived in Orange County's Little Saigon, I can attest to the broth's genuineness. Pho Vu's flavorful broth, coupled with friendly service and impeccable cleanliness, makes it a must-visit destination. The generous serving sizes are an added bonus, cementing its status as my preferred pho destination.
Combo pho is the way to go. It was filling and flavorful. I've have a lot of good pho and this was high on the list. Very authentic and fresh. Spring rolls were good too. Service was great. Servers were quick, very responsive and friendly. Would return when I'm in the area for sure. Picks before and after toppings added in case some don't like it.
Nice restaurant and cozy on the inside but don't blink twice when looking for it or you'll miss it tucked away at its location. The food was tasty and full of flavor and good portion size. I had a bowl of pho with shrimp along with an egg roll that was delicious. Service here was good but a tad slow after the order has been taken otherwise fast on taking the order. Plenty of parking and the restaurant is clean on the inside and out. I would recommend this place to anyone including my friends to try it out.
They serve some really good phò. Make sure to ask for some chili oil and chile paste. Food comes out hot and quick. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is once you get you food its hard to flag them down for a refill. Come here once a week and ots rare for them to come back around and ask if you need anything else. Shout out to Will definitely the best server there.
Delicious! Delicious!! Delicious!!! When it comes to Vietnamese cuisine I can take it or leave it, but Phở Vu was the best that I have ever had. I think the reason I have an attitude about Vietnamese food is because it was my ex boyfriend’s favorite. Maybe I just need to grow up a little bit - Hey, I’m only 55 years old, what do you want? LOL. Seriously though, the food at Phở Vu is simply amazing. We went early Sunday afternoon on May 2, 2021, after church services and apparently it’s a spot where lots of people went after church before the coronavirus took over the planet. Hopefully its business will bounce back to normal. The hostess was a lovely young lady who immediately made us feel welcome and our server was a very nice young man who brought us our drinks quickly and our food promptly, however he never checked back to see if everything was okay. It didn't matter too much though because our lunch was outstanding. The restaurant was immaculately clean and the general vibe was pleasant. We started our meal by sharing spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce which was excellent. Then, my date moved on to egg rolls that were perfectly crispy and flavorful and I had the filet mignon plate which was filet mignon chunks cooked in a wok with garlic, onions, and peppers served with tomato and steamed rice. I was full before I finished my plate, but kept stuffing myself because it was so good. I would highly recommend Phở Vu to anyone who loves Vietnamese food or to anyone who is curious to try it. You will not be disappointed.
$16 for water (soup), few pieces of sliced chicken, rice noodle. Oh & some optional herbs on the side. BE FOR REAL!! $16 for those simple ingredients. I get the broth is overnight but really $16 for that? It’s nothing special. It taste like every other pho place
We have been there a few times and usually enjoy the dishes. Had bbq chicken with rice. Had 2 pieces of meat on a bone but only bond had meat. On of egg rolls was not cooked. Egg loaf which is usually delicious was so dry. Companion had ban mai and it had no pickled veggies
Oh boy where do I start? Kind of almost everything was wrong with this place. I have been to Vietnamese restaurants before, and this one had a small and not very good selection. Two different people came to take my order before I had really a good chance to look the menu over. Seats weren't super comfortable or inviting, the whole place had a thrown together look, and lots of loud chattering in Vietnamese in the kitchen which disrupted any kind of atmosphere they were attempting with the music. The spring rolls were served cold as if they had been in the fridge overnight, and they were slightly hardened. Peanut sauce was thin and unremarkable. The other dish, an egg roll pork vermicelli was better, but kind of thrown together, and the pork had a lot of fat in it. To their credit they did take the spring roll off the bill, but that wasn't easy either because the first waiter seemed not to have a good grip of his English skills. Overall, not recommended at all.
Pho was good. Service? No no. You barely get cellphone signal and you see their WiFi but server did not want to provide it. Chicken in their fried rice tastes fish. Seems like they kept chicken long enough so smelly. Only good thing was pho soup. Reception girl said Palm dessert area does not have good WiFi signal which sounds ridiculous.
