I have never heard of a whataburger until I came to Florida, in my opinion it’s the best fast food there is which all the different varieties they have on the menu with breakfast and lunch. My personal favorite is the spicy chicken sandwich best chicken sandwich in all of fast food. Although breaks is amazing as well, I love every item on the breakfast menu and would most definitely recommend to other to give it a try!!

Drove over 2 hrs for this Whatabutger!! My bff wanted Whataburger while I was visiting her in Orlando. Burgers were awesome as usual. We got there kinda of late thank goodness they are 24hrs!!! I got 3 different burgers. Would go back again!!!

My sister came from Georgia to take our Mom out whoms in a private Home on Doctor's Lake. She wanted to eat here bc she has never had Whataburger bc non close to Rome. Tge store I have to props bc I recently moved from Texas and had Whataburger there. Props very clean and organized Very friendly Custome Service. I visited the orange park location tonight and it was the most pleasant service I have received at a drive thru fast food restaurant. Jerry greeted me at the speaker I could hear the smile in his tone. The weather was awful tonight FREEZING the drive through was very busy but it was like so warm and welcoming once you got to the window. My food was Hot, fresh and accurate. Jerry I appreciate you and your service, I hope this review finds you and hope you're are celebrated by your employer.

They were just about to open before I moved and I didn’t have a chance to stop, but it’s a Whataburger and it’s a Texas thing! If you ever go to Whataburger cookout burgers will make you cringe at the thought of the price you pay for their little bitty burger Whataburger is the best!

Cashier was prompt and polite. Took time. To explain the menu since it was my first visit. Food order was promptly delivered to table hot. I was impressed with the size of the burger and taste as well. One of the employees walked around greeting customers offering to get refills for them. I'm from Texas, so there may be some bias in this review... Food: Love it! Simply my favorite place to grab a burger and fries. The spicy ketchup is always my favorite part of the meal. Drinks: Fountain drinks, unsweetened tea, sweet tea, coffee, milkshakes, etc. Service: Great... They bring the food right out to you along with napkins and condiments. Most locations are open 24 hours.

On vacation with friends, when we turned into the neighborhood area where we were staying, I knew I would get “Wataburger”, which was across the street.We don’t have any “wataburgers where I’m from...I’ll let you know my experience..First thing I appreciated was the diversity in the staff..That was welcoming..we order curbside and it was raining and they still came out several times to get us our complete order.. the manger brought them out himself..really professional and provided excellent service..Everyone loved their food..Great Burger!!! Wish we had one of these where I’m from.. Thank you for making this such a great experience for our vacation..

Truth took my order in the drive thru and was very friendly. I ordered chicken tenders and it was a small wait time, she explained the wait time and pulled me around my food came out hot and fresh and she was very friendly.

We love the big burgers, and onion rings. Hot and taste good. The store on Cassat Ave in Jax fl the food is always hot. However the one in Orange Park FL, near the OPMC was not, i complained twice, will not go back to that I one. My receipt from the Orange Park store, near Orange Park Hospital. Only went twice, because friend requested it for dinner while they were hospitalized, however the food was warm, and they staff never corrected, the temperature will not be visiting that store again.

We decided to dine inside the Whataburger on Blanding in Orange Park today and we were greeted immediately upon walking in with a friendly smile and welcome. The general manager Bryan took our order and was extremely helpful. My husband ordered the patty melt meal, I had the pancakes 🥞 and my son had the breakfast toquito. The food was made hot and fresh. Writing primarily as a gig delivery driver - the OP Whataburger gets it done quickly and accurately - I accept only well-paying orders from restaurants that have delivery orders immediately ready or with just a few minute waiting. I have come to trust (and therefore frequently accept) OP Whataburger dashes. Whenever I do have to wait a minute or two, I observe that the manager on duty and staff truly hustle to get food orders cooked and bagged quickly...a refreshing difference compared to nearby Popeye's, Burger King and others (whose orders I decline knowing they are likely to be very slow - time is money!)

In the area for an event and was nervous about stopping due to reviews but let me just say they are not what I experienced. Firstly we were greeted warmly by 4 different employees, Jerry E took our order and was a pleasure to deal with and the food was amazing - we got breakfast , chicken biscuit , hashbrowns , taquito , biscuits and gravy and it was all off the chart amazing would definitely recommend this whataburger

My first time going. Purchased dinner for me and my friend. I got a salad and she got the mushroom swiss burger combo. Since I have not indulged in my salad, this rating is from her. Her burger was hot and very tasty. She enjoyed it. But the fries were warm not hot. And the drink was good.

WHATABURGER! Literally. Holy cow, that’s a 5 inch double burger (see picture)! I was stuffed after eating just half of it. Normally I can eat an entire double cheeseburger from Burger King. Of course, I stopped going to BK after the hundredth time of them screwing up my order and then them getting an attitude and acting like jerks to my husband. So I decided to try out Whataburger in hopes of finding a new place to buy my burgers from. I’m glad I did! Their burgers are super moist (usually I hate that word but it’s the best one to describe how juicy these burgers are). Also, the flavor just explodes from the meat with each bite. Their portion sizes are HUMONGOUS too! Yes, they may cost a little more than the nasty BK down the road, but it’s totally worth it. Trust me. *Update 3/29/2018* I don’t recommend getting their milkshakes. They taste like straight up syrup. We got 3 chocolate and 1 strawberry and they were all horrible. Their burgers and fries are still good though.

The highest rating I allow fast food. But i would go 4.5* as it really was pleasant, quick and tasty. Eggs fried by a human, not preshaped stuff. I got way too much as its my first Whataburger experience and (i hope obviously! 🤭) my first Breakfast experience here as well. I got a breakfast on a bun with bacon and an xtra egg; a breakfast burger with xtra egg, an order of hash brown sticks and i was done ordering but saw they have nice looking bfast burritoooos so, added 1 bfast burrito w bacon. I cant finish it all but everything was correct, as i ordered it (tho i forgot to add cheese on deez so they were slightly dryer than I expected but every egg was hand cracked and fried without any mold, the bun and tortilla all fresh and tasty, eggs cooked to over hard. I wonder if i can order over medium on the burritos. That would be killa. Anyway. For a fast food joint at breakfast that McDonald’s has usually owned that market, only place i get *fried* egg sammmiches, like egg McMuffin, substitute bacon for ham. Its enough that i can be on the road and at least be comfy to eat bfast wiyhout powdered or egg syrups or whatnot and get some egg mcmiffind w bacon substitute and a hashbrowns. Im as satisfied as going to waffle house. But this was much better. I dont know if ill like their burgers, test for another day. But, my breakfast sandwich ratings at Whataburger bfast sammys: 5* hash brown sticks 4* and service 5* i had a lovely young sister do my order. Her energy was wonderful at 6am and was a beacon of happy GM energy, but at the same time, was attentive to any questions and changes i made. I only wish she asked if i wanted cheese but thats on me. She should get a huge raise! :-) I will definitely try other Whataburgers and post bfast

We must have a difference of opinion on what extra onion looks like.... I've been here two days in a row, and I love their fries when their extra crispy. I've been having cravings for extra crispy fries. BOTH times, they were not extra crispy 💔😞. Total letdown. But I won't knock them too hard. Everyone seems to be friendly, but they all look miserable. And you can tell nobody wants to be there. I ordered the Patty melt. ( I saw it off of that jolly time youtube video.) I ordered extra onions because it always seems like it needs extra onions. As you can see, i'm right, because this is what extra onions look like. I insist, stop the onion hate. Give me the exact onions that I ordered!! It's my breath, not yours.

I go there all the time and the people I deal with are great, but man it's slow. Tonight I waited 30 minutes with 1 car in front of me and I got luke warm fries. And on top of that they had 3 cooks. I don't get it man!

What happened to Whataburger? Portions are off (see short, little breakfast tacos). Worst wait times evuh (any location). The app doesn't add points anymore for my visits, for the last several months.

Some of the staff could care less if we were there. Had to ask for napkins, ketchup. The sweet tea container was empty. The lettuce was dry not fresh. The bun was definitely old and fries were cold. The shake machine wasn’t working. We drove 161 miles from the Tampa area to eat Whataburger which is my favorite hamburger joint. I was sad 😢 Will try another one in the Jacksonville area hopefully will be better.

Went into drive thru at 9:30p, came out at 9:59p after parking and sitting while my two sandwiches and an order of fries were made. For context, i was one of two cars in their drive thru lane and there were about 6 customers in the lobby. What bothered me the most was that, while the teenager who gave me my food DID seem dry and wouldn't talk, nobody else even attempted to apologize for the delay. It was a sandwich and a sandwich with fries,... it's not a novel idea

They don’t have the syrup on the Dr Pepper turned on, it’s pure carbonated water. They have been told multiple times, they don’t care. Drive thru is abysmally slow. Please up the minimum pay and hire some people who actually care.

So I go to Whataburger and they advertise chicken wings. I order them and when I get home this is what they consider chicken wings !!!🤬🤬🤬 Look at the second photo!!! HOW THE HELL IS THAT A CHICKEN WING!!?? ITS A CHICKEN NUGGET!!!!

This location used to be better, now they give you what you don't want. Up sales for corporate pressure. Without your permission you just see it on the receipt and they ignore you at the window. You reap what you sow, karma! Lost customer, this location.

Pros: The staff was very friendly (got a star for that), the food is good (got another star for that). Cons: Every time I've come in the past few years (5x now) it has taken over 15 mins to get a simple order for 1 person, drive-thru included. This last time the drive-thru took 34 minutes and there were only 4 cars ahead of me. Then when I did get my food, one of my two sandwiches (biggest order I've ever made there) was missing and the fries were put upside-down in the bag. Not nearly as bad as the Wendy's near the airport, but can't recommend.

I had a delivery order for $35.82 on Tuesday June 17 to be delivered by 11:59 am from store #973 maybe 2 miles down Blanding from my address and started trying to contact them at 12:15pm because it still had never advanced on the statis past preparation and no one ever answered their phone after multiple attempts to contact them so by 12:30pm I clicked cancel order at which time I was told it was canceled successfully and my card wouldn't be charged!!!!! Now it's 3 days later I still cannot access my $35.82 at my bank and no one ever contacted me about the email Escalations on this matter from Tuesday and corporate when I called them can only tell me to put in another report and wait for the Escalations team again to contact me!!!!! And guess what you cannot just write a regular review of them without a receipt code because it was a canceled on-line delivery order!!!! So 3 days later I still have no food no $35.82 to buy food and no person who responds to the Escalations reports either. NO MORE WHATABURGER FOR MY FAMILY

I spent 20 minute in the drive thru for 2 b.o.b’s and a drink. And the food was warm and smashed and my drink sat there so long the ice melted.I read most of the reviews and I’m confused how this horrible location ranks as a 4 four star restaurant. If I could rate lower I would. Order took over an 30 minutes. Orders after ours came out first. When brought to the managers attention got straight attitude. No apology. Sandwich was suppose to have no tomato still had tomato. Fries were cold. Definitely a horrible experience.

So disappointed in the fries. Thats why I go to Whataburger, for the fries. They used to be my favorite. The burgers have gone way way downhill since they opened. Its like nobody cares. Im leaving this review because im hoping the restaurant gets some help. I live less than a mile from it and I will drive past to go somewhere else to eat.

Not a good experience. The manager sucks. We are here this afternoon and they messed up our order so we told them and they said they would fix it. They brought out the fixed order and it was only half right one meal was correct the other wasn't. we told them they made another mistake and gave back the burger and waited for them to fix it. 30 minutes later we were still waiting so my wife went to make a complaint only to find that nobody was making it at all so she asked for the manager and explained to him what was going on, he blamed the young man that took our order saying that he was autistic and that it was his fault. the fact of the matter is the autistic man took our order correctly and it was not his job to make the food. The manager didn't even offer to comp the meal or give anything for messed up order and half hour it took to get the food.

It's always something with this location. This time raw burger. Never consistent. I should not have recook take away or add ingredients to my meal. Management seems to have dropped the ball on their employees.

Don’t go to this one late at night/early in the morning…these people will have you sitting at the speaker forever, then when you pull around they ask “what’s your order?” Cause they’ve been standing around talking or playing on the damn phone…same individuals talk about they deserve 20 an hour but have a 2 dollar an hour work ethic…always takes forever to get food and it’s always a toss up whether it’s fresh and good or not

This has to be the worst whataburger I've ever been to Go through drivethriugh and they erase your order and make you wait 20 minutes before asking again what did you have. Order food delivery and you get whatever garbage they have in whatever they want to fulfill. Order bacon cheese meal get a double with nothing but ketchup. Hubby went to get biscuits and gravy. They are usually so good. This morning our biscuits were beautiful. Our gravy was watered down. Like they added water to make it so thin, it was like soup. No more biscuits and gravy from there. Very disappointed

I had just walked 7 miles and was tired. I went in whataburger and got some hot water to make coffee. I was exhausted and fell asleep. I remember them waking me up once, but they say that they woke me up 3times and I didn't get up, so they called the sheriff's department and told them that I was refusing to leave. Came in on 1/30/26 Only person in drive thru when we ordered: 1. Had to repeat the order multiple times, asked for plain and dry, was asked if I wanted every single topping one at a time and then says, oh you want plain and dry 2. Waited 20 minutes total with no one of front us 3. Watched as one young lady working the drive thru ran around overwhelmed but not sure how to complete each task and move forward, while multiple employees were standing in a circle behind her just enjoying themselves, talking and doing nothing 4. Lady on drive thru was calling for “David” constantly who was trying, but it was clear, she and everyone else, knew not to ask the dudes standing around in the circle for help, they weren’t about to get involved 5. Food was cold, fries were 3/4 full, drinks were flat and also about 3/4 full Overall, they seemed to screw up every single step, nothing was missed. Hard to blame the young employees that were trying, easy to see most were not. The bad reviews for this place are legit, and sadly repeated. Why treat the customers this way?

Whataburger needs to close this location. Every other location is stellar, this place is the horrid exception. This visit was really bad. $17 for a patty melt, a single soda, and cup of ice ... Yes, really! They charged me for a meal and a second drink. Still $17. No straws to boot. The one soda was ordered light, ice was packed so tight there was no soda. I drove back, and the manager asked me what was wrong. I told him, and he said what is wrong with it. I asked if he understood a word I said. I wanted cup of ice... They have a soda. I wanted a soda light ice, have me packed with ice... Them charged a few extra bucks for fries. How can you misunderstand?. I went and dumped the soda out, and made mine, and filled Ice. The away their nasty fries and told him he can keep them.

just wanted to say, the food is great don’t get me wrong but the atmosphere and the customer service from what i assume is the manager is awful. i come in to pickup an order and the guy is being so passive aggressive to his employee, not only that i ask for a drive carrier for my drink and he makes the comment “it’s only 1 drink” , okay? i don’t give a crap if i have 0 drinks… i asked for a drink carrier, is it coming out of your paycheck?! i thought you’re supposed to please the customer and give them what they asked for, not tell me what i need. also he was being very rude to one of his employees just belittling and talking down to the dude right in front of the customer (me) it was so awkward and i felt so bad for him, the energy and atmosphere in that place is just awful with that “manager” working and all of the other staff felt it as so did i… get a better manager PLEASE whoever he is, he was on duty of march 7th at 2:20am.

This is going to be a negative review but I do want to start off with a positive, that I spoke with the manager on duty, a very nice young girl who offered to make it right but I didn't feel like going back, again. I placed an online order for two fries, what a chicken and a double whataburger. On the burger I requested no lettuce and tomato, add ketchup. What I got was lettuce, mustard ketchup and mayonnaise. They don't come with mayonnaise and I didn't ask for mayonnaise. Every time we go to this location it's messed up and every time I call and tell them, they offer free food and tell me that they're training new hires. Every single time and this happens a lot. It's almost always wrong, either the food is burnt, missing items or they put the wrong toppings on. Well I shouldn't have to make two trips to Whataburger every time I place an online order. So I refuse to the food this time because honestly I don't want it anymore. I'll just go to the Middleburg location from now on

I ordered a triple whataburger with buns toasted on both sides, ketchup, mustard. I received a bun burnt to a crisp that smelled like a fireplace. The ketchup/mustard was just slapped on the same side to make a "mixture" that was stomach turning. I won't be back.

Employees were nice and kind. No issue there. However I’m not sure how this location has a 4.1 rating looking at the constant 2 star ratings. The burger was okay. Not hot but not cold even though we went through the drive thru. However I could smell the old grease in the fries from outside the drive thru window. I tried one and they just taste like fries cooked hours ago that were tossed back in grease (that definitely has not been changed in weeks) to reheat then and they were disgusting. I’m not super picky but save yourself some money and don’t get anything that has to be fried! Too high of a cost for inedible food :/

All the reviews are accurate regarding overcooked or very oily food. We got chicken strips and they were way overcooked very dark and hard, and the fries tasted like nothing but oil as if they’ve been re dunked to be warmed up. Definitely not fresh and the staff inside all were talking and on their phones and other half of the staff was outside hanging out in the parking lot. Maybe if they spent more time cooking quality fresh food and not on their phones or hanging out the food would be better.

Worst location I've been to. I placed a timed curbside pickup order for 730pm and got there exactly on time. I waited 10 min until going inside. There were zero customers inside and the lady wasn't interested that I had been waiting for my curbside order. She goes to the back for it and another lady said "Oh that's been sitting there for 4 hours." The first lady grabs the bag silently and hands it to me, "Here you go" and walks away. This isn't the first occasion of carelessness. Don't waste your time coming here, you deserve better.

The time shown I would receive my food in the app was not correct. I received my food 15 minutes after the time shown in the app. An employee brought just my drink out, not the entire order. I asked where the rest of it was, she said it was still on the way. The ice in my drink was melted and watered down my drink by the time the food was brought out. Cannot choose "no salt" on my fries in the app when ordering also. Gave them another chance. Ordered the sausage breakfast bowl. Turns out it was a tray, not a bowl. It was placed sideways and leaked out all over the bag and my seat. No spoon or napkins in the bag either. This place is trash. Update 6/13/25 Gave them another chance. Ordered the sausage breakfast bowl. Turns out it was a tray, not a bowl. It was placed sideways and leaked out all over the bag and my seat. No spoon or napkins in the bag either. This place is trash. Understaffed with counting but kids working there. Same order, same issues. Why do I only have a spoon for this bowl??

Order taker in the drive thru great.(could stop asking if that is all while I am still clearly ordering.) Repeated order back to me 2x once before I paid and once before I left to reassure me my food was all there and it was correct. It wasn't I get home to a n entire kids meal missing and an extra ranch. Fries were all old and cold(...again.) used to get good stuff here now so dang unhappy most if the time and assure you i am not hard to please and very patient. It seems there is always something missing each time we've been gone now. I called so as to get my issue resolved and in 3 minutes no one answered called back same thing. ALL of our fries are old and cold. RIDICULOUS $66.07 FOR THIS???
