Absolutely delicious rolls, worth the 10min wait in line. Soooo good. Make sure to ask for utensils during the order. Buns come out quickly, coffee, even a drip, takes a while. Only two small tables and a bench outside, which fill up quickly. Don't plan to eat here if you can help it. Take it to go!

There is no other cinnamon roll location that makes a cinnamon roll the way Old West does. If you have not had one it's a must-have. I had the walnut with no cream cheese. It was light, warm and just the best. We also had plain, plain with cream cheese frosting, and almond. All of them were delicious. My entire family is happy every time we come here. Thank you Old West Cinnamon Rolls we love your recipe!

We highly recommend this famous homemade cinnamon roll shop. It is a delicious pastry that you should not and cannot miss while in Pismo Beach or the surrounding area. This cinnamon roll shop is only two minutes away from Pismo Beach by car. The cinnamon rolls are handmade and baked fresh daily using Betty’s original recipe. All the flavors we have tried were wonderful so it is tough to pick a favorite. The pecan cinnamon with frosting is one of our favorites. It is very satisfying with plenty of nuts. The frosting on the top gives it a rich and uniquely sweet flavor. This cinnamon roll is a perfect dessert after we have In-N-Out burgers. It is not only a great dessert, it is also the best cinnamon roll I've ever had.

While staying in Pismo Beach, I noticed large lines on the weekend to this one place. Cinnamon bun smell would follow you for blocks. So, we decided to try. Tip: if you are on vacation including weekdays - try it Mon-Fri: a lot less waiting! Great variety of freshly-made cinnamon buns, coffee and souvenirs.

Old West Cinnamon Rolls is such a charming little spot in Pismo. The staff were incredibly sweet and very kind as they helped us choose a roll. You can tell they care about making sure people enjoy their visit. We went with a classic cinnamon roll with icing, and the flavor of the cinnamon was rich and satisfying. The roll itself was soft and fluffy, and the icing was definitely the best part. It was creamy, smooth, and just the right amount of sweet to bring it all together. That said, my wife and I kind of shot ourselves in the foot. We got our cinnamon roll cold and we’re not sure if that is how they normally serve it or if we were supposed to ask for it to be heated. We ended up warming it up when we got home about four hours later. It still tasted good, but we could tell it was not the fresh experience we had read about. Even with that, we would absolutely recommend this place. The quality is clear and next time we will definitely make sure to enjoy it warm and fresh. It is a solid stop for anyone visiting the area.

After seeing a post about this place back in March online, I was thrilled we finally made it to Pismo so I could try a cinnamon roll! They are definitely a popular spot in the morning! We got there around 7:30 and had no issues finding parking, but there was a line. They worked through people fast, though! I am basic and went with the cream cheese frosting roll, but they had plenty of other decadent options to choose from. They had some merchandise available as well, including shirts and cinnamon, and you can even get a bag of cinnamon roll mix. They have limited seating, which kind of sucked if you were just grabbing one to eat before you hit the road. We ended up on the bench out front with the cinnamon roll on my lap. A lot of people took boxes of rolls to go, so for most, maybe the lack of seating isn't a problem. We were just visiting Pismo and couldn't eat on the motorcyle, so we had to eat before we left. We look forward to visiting again with our kids.

Ok, it was a bummer that we had to wait in line a long time, like almost 30 minutes- but that was because of the massive amount of rolls people ahead of us ordered, in addition to their coffee orders. So I get it. When we finally ordered it was very quick to get our rolls. It's a Pismo staple and a tourist destination, but above all, really tasty. And it's fun to watch them prepare them as you wait in line. And the smell of cinnamon rolls baking- there are worse places you can spend your time. We got ours to go and walked to the pier. Great place!

We stopped here for breakfast and tried the iced cinnamon roll and the maple bacon cinnamon roll, along with some iced coffee. The rolls were absolutely delicious—rich, hearty, and full of flavor. The coffee was perfectly refreshing, too. The real proof? My picky eaters devoured everything in minutes! If the kids inhale it without hesitation, you know it’s good. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area!

This place had a long line, but it was so worth it. Omg. We could not believe how good these cinnamon rolls were. We got a regular and then a pecan one. The pecan one was amazing with extra crunch and texture. Honestly, it was a little overwhelming after a few bites though. I'd recommend getting your icing on the side! We came here early, afraid there might be a long line based on reviews. Surprisingly, it wasn't bad at all. There was no line, which caught me off guard. I wasn't ready to order, lol. When I walked in, I was greeted right away. The lady was nice. I explained that it was my first time here, but she didn't really provide any recommendations. We were headed back home after this stop. I placed a good-sized order for my family to try for the holidays. I ordered: 1. Box of cinnamon rolls (frosting on the side) - My family enjoyed it. 2. Frosting & cherries - I thought this was good. A little sweet and tart with the crunchy edges. 3. Maple & bacon roll - This looked scary to me, like the bacon wasn't cooked. It was very fragrant. It was good to try, but I'm not the sweet and savory type 4. Pecan roll - My mom devoured this and scraped the plate clean of pecans that fell I had asked the person helping me, how do you warm it up in the oven? Her response was that you could warm it up in the microwave 🤦‍♀️. I don't know how to warm it up in the oven, but I'm sure you can google it. She didn't want to ask anyone for help. They weren't busy at the time. Our future generation is just sad. In my honest opinion, the cinnamon rolls were ok. Good to come here at least once to try it yourself. It's a different kind of cinnamon roll than what I'm used to. It was crunchy on top, a little dry, and wasn't the ooey goodness that you get in the middle. I would love to come back one day to visit Pismo Beach and try the other restaurants and walk around. It's a pretty place.

You can share one, but you won't want to. These delectable rolls are great for picnics, going on the road, beach bonfires and camping, or just good ol' self care. My husband was on a road trip and brought a huge box home. It took three people a good three days to plow through them. I must say ordering too many is not a real thing because when you get a hankering for another, it'll most likely be there.

Cinnamon buns were all really good! I give that a 5 star. Line was long out the door and there were multiple (6) men, yes only men working but service was slow. I ordered online and did not pick up until 30 mins later and was the only online order. There was no separate line for online orders so I went to go stand by the front register for help. I saw my box was already packed. I was not going to stand in the back of the line because I already ordered. No one greeted me or asked me for help. I asked one of the register guy that I have an online order and he proceeded to tell me to wait while he helped the next person in line. Service needs to be better.

Got here at 8:00 am on a Sunday and luckily the line was shortish. We ordered two rolls with cream cheese frosting. They pack it in a nice sturdy to go box which was nice. I assumed the cinnamon rolls would have been hot and fresh but weirdly enough, they were not. They weren't super soft either. The flavor was spot on however. I think heating them up would be key. Stopped by Old West Cinnamon Rolls again after not being here since 2019. This visit was just okay. The chocolate caramel Oreo roll was overly sweet for my taste and pretty heavy. The cream cheese frosting was good, but not great. Nothing was bad, but overall it didn’t live up to how I remembered it. They honestly tasted better the last time I was here a few years ago.
