Great service, pretty good food, carnitas was the least favorite taco. Every time I go, you can bet im getting the esquites and Brussels sprouts. The la cantina + jalapeños : 10/10, best gluten free tres leches around!!!

The front bar will catch your eye but head to the back! There’s a covered bar where Maika took outstanding care of me. As someone who works in the service industry, it’s extra appreciated. I recommend the pork belly tacos for a meal and if you want some bar bites get the loaded papas fritas <3 love you cantina <3

For anyone visiting from outside the city/state, this place is a MUST for food and drinks. I came here with very low expectations as I’m used to fine mexican dining cuisine, but this place blew my mind! The dishes were so tasty, perfectly proportioned and just delicious. My boyfriend, who’s mexican and myself ended up ordering 3 rounds of plates because the food was just so good. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this place and I 200% recommend it for anyone in the area.

We were there yesterday for Valentine’s Day dinner and the food was excellent. They have so many vegan / vegetarian options which was helpful. I loved everything I ordered but especially their vegan chorizo taco. Love the lime kick in it. It was truly love at first bite. The waitron was very sweet and checked on us only when needed unlike many places where they keep intruding. Loved the atmosphere too!

The seating is currently limited due to the restrictions on restaurants but the outside patio set up was great! I would recommend a reservation because it may be hard to get a seat otherwise. We ordered the Queso Fundido con Chorizo as an appetizer and were pleasantly surprised with the amount of food there was. The chips are some of the best, fresh, homemade chips I have had in a long time. The queso was a perfect combination of cheese with a nice amount of chorizo and some cilantro for that extra freshness. The poblano in the queso did not make it unpalatable due to excessive heat. For the main course, we ordered Carne Asada and Shrimp Gobernado Street Tacos. The amount of food on two tacos was most satisfying and definitely enough for one person. The carne asada was amazing and their avocado salsa brings a nice freshness to the tacos with just a little heat from the salsa verde. The shrimp tacos had huge pieces of shrimp that were cooked perfectly and the pico was exceptional. My wife ordered the Flamenco mixed drink and it was an excellent choice. It paired well with the Shrimp tacos. The service was spectacular and our server was on the ball, making sure we had everything we needed. The alcoholic beverage was brought quickly to the table as well. As far as price, it is pretty spot on for today's pricing standards. The average cost of an item ranges from $9-$15. I would definitely recommend trying Round Corner Cantina to quell your taco cravings. Five stars all the way.

I love round corner now Esquina is an amazing restaurant. I have been here many times and love how many vegetarian and vegan options they have on the menu that are delicious and not just salad and French fries.

Fun atmosphere, good margaritas and delicious food, server could have checked on us more but we didn't need anything and nothing was wrong with our orders either. Definitely busy night as well. Separate checks were accurately split up too!

It has a really delicious tacos. Highly recommended. I just returned after a while, they still are doing great. The drinks are so good. I was so happy with mine, “Doctor’s Order”

THIS WAS SO GOOD! Short rib plate and shrimp tacos were great, but the find was definitely the Brussels sprouts! Roasted light and airy and crunchy, hint of sweetness, and coupled with goat cheese. Definitely a revelation. Add a cute patio and great service and this is a winnwr!

A really great hidden gem in Lawrenceville. A bar on the corner with an amazing backyard seated area and second bar. Food is incredible, we got the chorizo queso and Al Pastor tacos. When the weather is fine, do yourself a favor and head here!

Perfect spot for dinner with friends or a first date (or any date!) Amazing back patio. The Sangria is SO DELICIOUS. Chicken tacos were perfectly seasoned, Birria consomme was so delicious, and don't leave without flan for dessert.

Very pleasantly surprised! We originally stopped in the neighborhood for Franktuary (a favorite of ours!) and didn't realize they were closed on Mondays so we gave the Round Corner Cantina a try which is across the street. Really glad we did! Awesome atmosphere and vibe, a handful of drink and food specials (with a bunch of vegan options) and quick service. We ordered the vegan nachos and I have to say they are at least tied as the best vegan nachos I ever had. I ended up ordering the Tofu tacos 🌮 as my entree and they were legit and I'm not a huge Tofu fan so that's saying something. I will definitely make the trip over to Lawrenceville for Round Corner Cantina!

My absolute favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. The food is incredible. All of the food (not all drinks) on the menu is supposedly gluten free which is great for anyone with celiacs or trying to limit their gluten intake. Staff is always super helpful and friendly. Inside is decorated super well and it has a really cute patio area out back.

Fun place for margaritas in Lawrenceville! We sat on the back patio which was very cute. They have a large selection for food and drinks. We ordered the queso which was to die for! Pictured below is the house margarita. Also very good!

Wonderful atmosphere in the outdoor space. There is a second bar outside in addition to the one inside. Music is popular and plenty loud enough to enjoy while outside. So many authentic details to enjoy. Ask for actual glass water glasses to reduce the waste of the plastic ones they give you by default. I especially love the tall pitcher of ice water the severs bring to the table. Service was quick and the large portions of food came out hot!

Excellent food and patio! Roasted by sun but enjoyed the Sunday afternoon there.

We only found out about this place because a friend raved about it. The drinks were beautiful and delicious. But. The. Food. Transcended. Expectations. We can’t wait to come back. Even if it means a 2 hour drive.

Shared a taco variety plate between 3 people. Impressed by the delicious cocktail on special and the huge amount of meat filling in each taco.

The tacos were excellent, as well as the margaritas, and the service was fantastic. Great atmosphere, with good music in the background. Highly recommended if you're ever in the area.

Jar the green salsa and sell it! It’s so good! The passion fruit margarita and lavender lemonades were so crispy and delicious. The tortillas hechas a mano were buttery soft and flavorful. 5 stars, definitely will be back

Awesome little stop whilst in Pittsburg, they are inclusive to all lifestyles (vegetarian/vegan) and welcoming staff. The bar tenders know their stuff & bonus points for mocktail menu! The food was sapid, the wife & I tried the oyster mushroom tacos & they were flavorful & sapid. I appreciated greatly how there wasn't any televisions @ the bar so we could be fully present and enjoy the vibrant energy & each others company! Thank for the lovely experience!

This place is a hidden gem! Service was great, drinks were great…. Service was even better! Food came out quick and hot…it gives a very upscale feel to tacos and tequila…which there was tons to choose from! Definitely worth the experience

Absolutely one of my favorite places to eat with my girlfriend. The outdoor patio seating during the summer is a warm weather treat 😁

First off- I loved the margaritas and the chips and guacamole. I'm coming at this review from a vegan standpoint so I can not testify the quality of their non-vegan dishes. I really wanted to love the mushroom tacos that came vegan but I found them to be underwhelming. The menu says the mushrooms are marinated but they lacked flavor and seemed undercooked to me. The only real flavor came from the sauce on top of the tacos. Some of the mushrooms were hard to eat and very rubbery. As someone who loves mushrooms, this was one of my first experiences where I genuinely didn't love a mushroom-based dish. It's impossible to overcook mushrooms so I'm not sure what the chef was thinking when they decided they were "fully-cooked". I find sometimes restaurants can overlook their vegan dishes but I'm hoping this was a fluke and not relfective of their normal quality. In hindsight I should have sent it back but I don't like being fussy. I would return to Round Corner Cantina for appetizers and drinks but I'm hesitant to try the tacos again.

I enjoyed the food, and the place had a fun, unique vibe. My only comment is that it felt a little overpriced for what you get.

Guac could use salt and lime but portions were very big! Yummy vegetarian option for the setan tacos. They should bring out plates for sharing the guac but overall nice atmosphere and decent food.

good overall. we just love their tortillas (handmade there?). their salsa/dip is amazing. the dishes wouldn’t have much flavor without the sauce.

Go for happy hour before 6pm for $2 off certain drinks. The house margarita is delicious. The food isn’t as good as it has been the past couple years. The chileajo dish is basic and overpriced. It’s simply Spanish rice with mixed vegetables on top. The molotes are usually our favorite item on the menu but something wasn’t right this time. My friend got the salad with ahi tuna on top for an up charge. The tuna was cooked well done (after she asked for it to be cooked rare) and the portion was tiny. Definitely a little bummed after this visit.

Carne asada fries are amazing. Service was quick and the people were friendly. Music was a little loud / cacophonous. Prices were reasonable, especially for portion size.

I got the Furiosa drink and it was pretty good. I thought the food was alright for the price. I got the pollo asado chicken tacos and they could have been more flavorful.

Nice cocktails and tasty food. Bar had a chill vibe during happy hour (5-6pm) which got busier as it got later. Happy hour is a little limited in specials, but you can get a couple bucks off a few select drinks. Service at the bar was excellent.

Meal portions were good but appetizers were small. We got one to share amongst 4 people (loaded papas fritas) and we wish it was bigger. I thought the food itself was average to above average but not great. Drinks were very delicious and strong! I had a La Cantina Mango margarita and Sangria Blanco, loved them both! Pretty small place but trendy and service was good.

Esquina Cantina is inside the historic Round Corner Hotel and Bar building. My husband and I ate one meal on their outdoor patio. Our waiter made a couple of mistakes but corrected them. We really liked our guacamole, tostadas, quesadilla, beans, rice, and non-alcoholic drink. The tacos had excellent tortillas, but my husband did not like the carne-asada meat.

I’ve been here multiple times before. On this occasion we came for a friend’s birthday dinner, and it was a mediocre experience. There were 8 of us and we were seated at a table that sat 6 comfortably max. The drinks were decent, but the tacos are overpriced and never come out hot. I had the chorizo, which was fine but came without the potato. Some of my friends’ orders came out incorrect, which typically wouldn’t be a big deal but in this case was an allergy, and the food runner argued with him instead. Then the server blamed the mistakes on the kitchen, not a good look. The esquites were the only highlight of the meal. All in all, a good place for drinks and get your tacos elsewhere.

Small restaurant, cozy vibe and great ambiance. Good drinks menu, the margaritas are really good. Would definitely visit here again to try different its on their food menu.

Very nice place, with lots of covid-related safety measures installed as you can see in the photos. Super friendly, polite, and patient staff! Definitely order drinks! We ordered about 5 different drinks and everyone was happy 😊 I would have rated 5 or 4 stars but this time I give only 3 because they dissapointed me with their menu: although they generally have a lot of vegan main courses, the night I went they had none! Actually there was only one taco marked as vegan but they were out of it! I hope next time they do better and I will definitely update my review accordingly 🙂

We are regulars here!! LOVE this place a ton, frequent every other week basically. They are so good with allergies and the atmosphere is amazing. I do have to say they just changed the menu and it is not as good as the old menu. We were really disappointed with the change in the Carne Asada tacos and the Cameron tacos. They were not as good as they used to be. The Carne Asada taco meet was hard to chew and big pieces. The sauce was also not as good. The Cameron was lacking a lot. I hope they go back to the way they were. Truly was so sad because we love this place and the way they did things!

We did not have the best experience. During Happy Hour we ordered margaritas, I ordered a skinny margarita and was charged double the price of a regular margarita-does this mean the regular margaritas are pre-made? The fundido was bland. The only flavor was the jalapeno pepper slices floating on top along side 3 slices of mushrooms. We then ordered 2 tacos each. Our bill was $75. Our server seemed nice and attentive to start, but they soon became very flustered. We had to wait 20 minutes to get their attention and to pay our check. 4 street tacos, bland cheese and 2 margaritas = $75 This is my first and last time here….

We went as a group of five on a Thursday evening and, at first glance, Round Corner Cantina seemed like a fun spot—the decor is cute, the patio vibe is great, and the margaritas looked promising. We ordered two pitchers at $40 each, expecting a reasonable, all‐in price. Imagine our surprise when the check arrived with an extra $12 “jalapeño fee” and another $12 “mango fee” tacked on—no mention of these charges when we placed our order, nor any heads-up from our waitress. Adding twelve dollars for a handful of chopped jalapeños (and the same for mango) feels absolutely absurd. To make matters worse, the patio gets very dark once the sun goes down—good luck reading the menu or seeing your friends without pulling out your phone flashlight. Service was friendly enough, but that omission of basic price info really soured the night. All told, I’m giving it two stars. If you’re after a trendy spot with solid cocktails and don’t mind surprise up-charges, it might work—but after that bill shock, I’ll think twice before returning.

There’s a nice bar and cool patio to sit outside at if you’d like a relaxing place to eat or drink, but aside from that I wasn’t impressed with the place. The food was overpriced with small portions. The queso we had wasn’t good and tasted almost like skim milk. The rest of the food was very average for what you paid for. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good. Service was fine, food came out quick which was nice but overall thought everything was average compared to other mexican spots in the city.

We made reservations for 13 people. We were sat at a small low table that barely fit the kids. The table was way too low to eat at. You just couldn't reach the food. There was not enough room to even sit around the table. The corner seat would have to hold their plate to their face to eat. We asked to move but was told "we always put people here comfortably". We said it definitely will not work for us and asked again to be moved. We were granted only 3 seats at the bar, which still would not be enough. We were told our minimum bill will increase because we are now using 3 seats. THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE OTHER PERSON IN THE RESTAURANT. IT WAS ONLY US. See the pictures. The small table was only seating the kids and we were to add 6 additional adults to that space. Impossible. The waitress bartender was rude. The food was a small amount, cold, and tasteless. Not a single person liked their food...out of 13 people. It took forever to get the food and it came out so slowly and spaced out that my husband was done eating for 10 minutes before I even got my food. The only people that said anything positive was the ones drinking tequila. I'd say it was the tequila talking.

The waiter was pushy and unwelcoming. The enchiladas were extremely bland, but tacos were ok. The outdoor area is nice if it wasn’t for the poor attitude of the waiter.
