This restaurant has a strong Turkish ambiance and feel. The owners are very attentive to your needs and quick to serve you. Food was really good. Reminded me of eating the real thing back in Turkey on my many travels there. I highly recommend the Shepards Salad, Adana Kebab, and Baklava. You will definitely love this place. I cannot wait to come back on my next business trip. Don’t forget to order some Turkish tea at the end of your dinner. It really helps you relax.

Good ambience. Good Food. Service can be better. We ordered the falafel for starters and their popular Mixed Grill platter. The meat was juicy and the portion size was reasonable for two people. They served unlimited freshly baked pita bread but that was hard to eat without any dip. The waiter could be more attentive, we kept waiting for water refill and our check.

During our visit to Plano, we had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Istanbul after a whole day of fasting, and it was just exceptional! We ordered the mixed grill for two, which offered a variety of their grilled meats. Each bite was a testament to the authenticity and quality of their food.. just so tasty! it was the perfect way to break our day long fast. The service was friendly, making us feel welcome and well-attended. The staff was incredibly understanding and patient towards our young children, who were somewhat restless/ loud after a long travel day. To top off our meal, the baklava was exceptional—perfectly sweet, flaky! Overall, awesome experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

This place is amazing! The food exquisite, the staff is extremely friendly and professional and the atmosphere is perfect for dinner! We came in for desert and coffee and Turkish tea and we were not disappointed. This was because it is my birthday dessert, but my actual birthday is on Monday. We will be coming for our dinner! Yay! I get two birthday dinners! And will leave a review on. The food then!

Finger licking delicious food. The ambiance is pretty relaxing & the owners are pretty welcoming. Might not be the best for larger groups as this place is on the petite side. The portion sizes are pretty decent and we didn’t feel stuffed. The lamb, chicken were cooked to perfection. Great meetup location for a weekend girls meet up!! Will be going back often.

My family and I went on a Saturday to meet our daughter's new boyfriend. We had not visited this restaurant in years. The waitress was pleasant but I could barely hear what she was saying. We ordered appetizers of hummus and calamari, both good. Let's just cut to the chase...I was disappointed with the service! Our server was fine, the problem was the owner had her working at least five tables that I could see. As a consequence, we had to wait when we wanted more lavash, to order another bottle of wine, to order dessert, and even when asking for the check! Not acceptable when I dropped a pretty penny. Hey, they could have had a staffing problem, but it sure left a bad taste in my mouth.

Great place for Turkish food. Only complain is that they should have more vegeteriam entre choices. Highly recommend the dolmas, and phyllo filled with Turkish feta. Felafel are crispy and tasty as well.

Great spot for authentic Turkish food. The flavors are on point, reminds me of meals I’ve had in Istanbul. Everything tastes fresh and well-prepared, from the kebabs to the salads. The freshly baked bread they bring out is a highlight on its own. Definitely try the Adana Kebab and finish with some Turkish tea and Kunefe. Service is friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. Prices have gone up a bit over the years, which is the only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. Still, it’s a solid choice when you’re craving something flavorful and comforting. I’ll be back for sure.

This is a beautiful restaurant in the heart of legacy. The atmosphere is quiet at least on a Monday dinner. The service and food were excellent. I visited with a friend from out of town who wanted to share the Turkish food experience. He emphatically stated everything was perfectly authentic. The platter for 2 is their most popular dish according to the server. The coffee was excellent and I though the Ayran yogurt drink was the perfect cool tart contrast to the savory meats and dishes. The coffee with the small piece of Turkish delight is the perfect cap to your meal.

Went with my mom for a late lunch on Saturday...we were one of two tables and yet, service was still lacking. Every table is supposed to get free pita bread. However, our waiter never brought it out. He noticed when he served our entrees and said he would bring it out immediately. He forgot. The other table had a different waiter who brought his table bread twice in the time we were trying to get our waiter's attention. I can understand if it was a busy time but again, we were literally the waiter's only table. And our water glasses were empty by the time he came to refill. It was $70 for 2 people (after tip) to eat lunch. Definitely expect better service for that price point. Also, my mom's dish tasted fine but I got the Ali Nizak and the texture was weird to eat, especially without any bread to sop it up.

We went to this restaurant to try some good Turkish food. We were disappointed with the way the service was provided. They served the Turkish bread cold, we ordered main course Adana Kebab lamb and chicken, the quantity they served based on the price was bad it looked like small appetizer plate. The website or google prices are not matching with their in-house menu.I don’t recommend going there as their service is terrible.I didn’t tip them because of the terrible service and experience instead they charged me 8$ extra.They are looting the customers.I uploaded the pics with proof’s.

Paid $32 for a shish kebab that was one tiny skewer of overcooked lamb, a small scoop of rice, and mostly raw veggies that were supposed to be grilled and include asparagus (they didn’t). The bag felt so light I checked it before leaving and immediately knew I’d been ripped off. They didn’t even start my order until I arrived, and when I questioned the portion size, the owner came outside to confront me instead of making it right. Bad food, tiny portions, and worse service. Won’t be back.
