A fun and classy dinner with my son on his birthday! Beautiful location and great parking. The filet mignon and colossal shrimp were fabulous. The margaritas strong and Edemame fresh!
We had such a great time here! My girlfriend is gluten free, and Chef Lu knew just what to do. He had a bottle of gluten free soy sauce, and made sure to show us the label. That guy was great! He was high energy, and took the gluten allergy super seriously. We had the A5 Japanese Wagyu, and it was so amazing! The price was decent for the cut of meat too, we looked it up the next day. Thanks Chef Lu! We'll be back.
11/11/25: We went for dinner, and I'm glad that we had reservations. The restaurant was pretty busy, and we had about a 15 minute wait. The décor was pretty nice, although there was limited seating in the waiting area. Once we were seated, we had a great time. The chef was friendly and entertaining. The food was great, the beer was cold, and the deserts were pretty good. There is a parking garage down the block, and very limited street parking.
If you’re looking for a great meal and a show, this is it! The chef was fantastic and really made the experience fun. The food was delicious, and I was impressed by the generous portion sizes. Everything from the service to the atmosphere was top-notch. A great place to bring family and friends!
Came here on Christmas Eve knowing it was gonna be packed. They still delivered. It has been many years since I’ve been to a Benihana, but I’ve done hibachi several times before. All the food was fresh and delicious. They were even extra accommodating to the vegetarian with us. They cooked her fried rice without chicken, and her tofu separate from any of the meat. The tofu was great too. The chef was fun, and I was really pleased with how easily they accommodated everyone ordering something a little bit different. I’ll absolutely be back
We had such a great experience at Benihana! From start to finish, everything was on point. Our chef, Genaro, was absolutely awesome. He was engaging, talented, and made the whole night so much fun. He really went above and beyond and created an experience, not just a meal. A huge shoutout to the manager, Jorge, as well. He checked in, made sure everything was taken care of, and truly helped make my son’s birthday feel special. You could tell he genuinely cared about us having a great celebration. Fantastic food, great energy, and even better service. We will definitely be back! Thank you!
Outstanding experience at Benihana, thanks to our amazing server Bianca! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was top-notch. From taking our order to delivering our delicious meal, Bianca provided exceptional service with a smile. Chef Giro did a great job too, but Bianca truly made our evening special. We'll be back for sure!
Nice experience to enjoy your food . They have 5 course and 6 course menu option. We had 5 course came with soup , salad, shrimp , rice , veggies and actual main course. We tried tofu steak and Diablo seafood medley . Both were good. The tofu came with vegetarian soup. So the vegetarian options were kept in mind. Overall a great experience.
I'm so fortunate to have had my same chef again!! His name fails me but he's been preparing delicious dishes for several years now. The waitress was on point and my table had a great fusion of energy (this was by chance but still). There's nothing I would complain about. For the first time, we walked in, with reservation, and was seated right away. Even taking my time, we were done and out the door under an hour. Fantastic visit!!!!
Great experience overall, our chef Jojo was a very patient person and changed up his whole cooking routine for us due to allergies and difficulties with another party. The food was great, I’ve never had garlic butter before in this style of food, quite interesting but in a god way. The atmosphere was very professional and modern with a clean setting NOTE: Definitely recommend the red flower hibiscus tea. 10/10. $4 just like the other tea and refillable, best tea I’ve had in a while
Sent my son and his friends here for his 17th birthday. They had a blast. food was amazing and service was even better. The restaurant was packed but lovely music and showmanship

This location is next to a lot of other businesses, so parking was limited. We used valet parking. The valet person was fast with our vehicle. Food was definitely not as I remember. It was decent, the food portions are crazy small and we paid almost $200 for 2 people and a child. The chef was funny, our server was awesome. Only complaint is food is mediocre for the price. Good atmosphere but wouldn't return, just my personal preference.
It was good, nothing too spectacular. Typical Benihana experience. This is my 2nd or third time going. I went because I got the $30 gift certificate for my birthday. They are pretty overpriced for the portion and quality of the food. I only go for the bday discount. The chefs and servers are always nice though.
I’ve enjoyed many Benihana locations. This location fits their standard for great service, frequent refills, and entertaining chefs that cook delicious food. When ordering, speak up about allergies as they will accommodate easily. I knocked a point because I dislike the company’s policy of forcing holiday fixed menus that are enforced on the days between Christmas and New Years. The corporation policy is an obvious lame, money grab.
We got there early, around 4:45pm, because we heard there's a pretty good happy hour menu. But, the catch is that you must sit at the bar to able to participate. So, we sat at a booth, the only ones in the place, which was cool...so a very limited vibe. Joseph was our chef, who was very skilled, funny and very kind. We did tape the "choo-choo train", but the file size exceeded what Google allows on here (weird). Dinner was very good, hearty and filling with a nice touch to end with rainbow sherbert and green tea. If you enjoy less of a crowd, this was a perfect time to go. But, as we were leaving it was starting to fill up. One thing we did find odd, as we were leaving there were 3 hostesses and a manager chatting and joking, yet know one thanked us for coming or even paid attention. In the restaurant industry, that is extremely uncommon. I'm not dinging them for this slight, just acknowledging as part of our overall experience. Because when you spend $150 for an early Monday night dinner based on a drive-by, every benchmark does matter.
We tried this place for dinner recently and had a great time. We haven’t been here for 15+ years, but we are glad we tried it again. The chili ponzu yellowtail and pan fried gyoza dumpling appetizers were great as a starter. The fried rice, shrimp, chicken, and filet mignon were great. The $22 kids meal was a ton of food for our 3 year old, but we made a couple meals out of it. We were very entertained by the gentleman cooking the food. My daughter was mesmerized. It’s on the pricier side, but definitely worth checking out if you like hibachi.

We had to wait a little over an hour to order main courses because of course they want to fill the table up with people. If you don’t want to see the show go to a side so you can order right away. …
We arrived with no reservation (party of 3) and were seated immediately on a Thursday evening. We informed the waitress we were celebrating a birthday. We were placed at a table with a family of 4 people. The experience was nice, but the food portion was less than stellar. We ordered 2 Emperor Feast meals with filet mignon and chicken along with 1 kids meal (chicken and steak). 2 adults received the same chicken portion size as the kids meal. We asked why our $50 plates didn't contain more food and the chef shrugged. He actually portioned out 1.5 chicken breasts for the 3 people in my family to share. Definitely not what you expect to receive when paying that price point. I informed the manager and he offered 1 additional chicken breast to be split between me and my husband. The fried rice was also burnt that we ordered. We shared 1 Las Vegas roll. It was well prepared. To end the meal, the staff sung happy birthday to another patron at our table but not me. They did, however, offer me a birthday ice cream desert. We have been to this location more than 5 times. I'd say this was the most disappointing experience to date.
It's good food and plenty of it. My only real.issue was that our waiter seemed to be on his own and it took forever to get drinks once seated. He also did my birthday song by himself which was kinda awkward. Only other issue that disappoints me in is the hibachi shrimp. It tastes like the cheap bubble-shrimp-mostly light white color (idk what to call it) ..not the rich, lobster-like meatier shrimp that is cooked fresh and de-tailed/veined on site like at other similar restaurants. Whish they'd invest more in that for the prices.
I love Hibachi. I've tried a few places here in Dallas area and sometimes it's a hit or miss with the food and entertainment. I've never been at Benihana, I'm not into massive chains, but that's just me. The food was actually really good. No complaints. The meat was cooked correctly and to order, the fried rice wasn't over salted with soy, everyone in our party enjoy the meal. That said, there were a few issues. The place was empty, so you'd think the service would be quick... Somehow it took 30+ minutes to get our order in. That's fine, we didn't mind. My real issue was the entertainment. The one thing I love most about a hibachi spot is the enthusiasm and skill of the chef. When it comes to this place, it was lack luster. Honestly, I could have probably done a better job. The chef was pleasant and went through the basic motions but not much more. No jokes, no tricks, nothing except the onion volcano they're required to do.. If you're looking for entertainment, this isn't the place. Especially for the cost per person. It's not cheap and you could have alot more fun for alot less else where. Won't be coming back.
Basically you're paying for dinner and a show, all things considered it's a good novelty restaurant with funny and friendly staff, but I found the taste of the actual food a little disappointing. I got the hibachi salmon, and I'm not sure what factor caused the salmon to be dry but it just wasn't an impressive salmon. The shrimp was delicious though, very fresh and tender. Veggies pretty tender and fresh too, but I cant get over how overpowering the taste of salt was. The skill of the chefs are genuine though, you watch the cooking from start to finish and they do impressive tricks as well. For the price of around $50 each person I just expect the food to taste as good as the show though.

I don’t know if I will be returning to Benihana’s. I just recently wrote an unpleasant experience for my son’s birthday. Half good/half bad. I didn’t reach out for further communication on the subject, I just let it go. Tried again and it was not good. Someone at the restaurant completed a form of my concerns but I was not contacted. I’ve been going to Benihana’s for years. I never gotten the Japanese hot tea served to my table. I only realized it was supposed to be served when I checked the menu to see if they had taken off ice cream for the Benihana Delight which is still on the menu but didnt get served. Could I have asked for it? Yes if we weren’t enjoying ourselves company and realized that we didn’t get what we paid for. The rice was seasoned the best that I’ve had since going there. The chicken is always dry so I decided to start adding teriyaki sauce to help it out. The shrimp had a weird grilled burnt taste. I feel that I’m spending quite a bit to have to substitute and settle.
I haven’t visited a Benihana in years but thought it would be an easier restaurant to visit on the eve of Valentine’s Day with my son. We had a reservation but didn’t get seated until 45 minutes later. Fine though, it’s understandable because it’s busy. Once seated though, it took forever to get water. Plus, water refills were sparse. I ordered extra shrimp but didn’t get them. I had to request my son’s ice cream at the end of dinner. There were issues with other orders too at our table. The chef was fantastic, but I doubt if I’ll return again. It’s not worth it.
I would not recommend this to anyone. We came here for my birthday this evening. First off we had a 7:30 reservation and wasn't seated until 8:15. Then we ordered our drinks, they were good but expensive $18 for a small margarita, then my husband ordered fried rice with his meal and didn't get it and the chef didn't seem to care. The server brought my husband steamed rice which is what I ordered. By the time our server came back to the table and we told him my husband didn't receive his fried rice he said he would have them make it in the back, by the time he received it he had eaten most of his food. My daughter received her entire meal before anyone else at the table got their food so she was done eating by the time we received our food. The biggest issue was I ordered the Hibachi Tune Steak Medium Rare when he cut my tuna steak is was perfect then he continued to cook it so when he put it on my plate it was well done. I took two bites and that was it. They took my meal off but we still spent almost $200 and I didn't even eat anything but a little bit of rice which was cold and a few bites of vegetables. A manager never came to speak or anything. By the end of my meal I didn't want to be sung Happy Birthday to or anything. We will never be back and am very disappointed in this restaurant. We didn't even get a show at all except the flaming volcano.

Came for a bday party for our mom. Food was amazing. The waiter however was forgetful, food didn't make it to the table til we were done and about to leave. The waiter then told me that there's a mandatory 20% gratuity on the every bill. She highlighted the tip amount herself and ran my card. She totaled the bill herself in her handwriting and did not allow me to make corrections. I was told by the restaurant the next day that they do not have a mandatory gratuity on any checks. I was going to tip 18% just cause the missing items, but was then told this info. Don’t lie to customers and tell them this is mandatory! Check your bil!!!
Went there for my birthday and took my father there for the first time to celebrate. Had an Asian female server Jan 19th around 3pm. Rude, dismissive. Didn’t ask us for basic things like forks etc when rest of the table was asked, didn’t explain rewards, didn’t ask if we needed anything, didn’t ask to go boxes, didn’t give items included in our order order such as dessert. When asked she acted like she was doing us a favor. I’ve been there multiple times and I’ve never been treated this way. Very disappointed. Spoke to manager and he stated it was because they were short staffed. I understand you’re short staffed but that doesn’t explain the fact that you ask the rest of the table if they need anything and don’t ask us… I’m sorry but seems like racism. Even the other guests at the table noticed and were unsure why the server was acting that way. Told her I have rewards… she told me write it down but didn’t offer pen… when asked didn’t bring until othe other guest pulled it out from her purse.dismissive, rude, not the birthday experience we pay premium prices for at Benihana. Very disappointing
