Either new management or just shaking it up, regardless, now with unlimited Peking duck, lamb skewers, HONEY WALNUT SHRIMP, AND new cold item options like garlic pork or cold noodles?

The food is very fresh and delicious. The waitress Mimi is very nice. Great service. 👍

Best soup we’ve had. Keep it original! Love it!

Came here on Father's Day. Food was on point. Love the duck blood curd and yam noodle. Side dishes were also very good. Very huge portion, so I would ask for a smaller portion next time. I found that the extra charge for multiple soup bases was not necessary since their price was already high. I would come back again for the authentic taste.

This place is the best all you can eat hotpot I ever had in the area. You can eat Peking duck roll and the skewers which are very delicious. The service is fast and friendly.

Good for all you can eat hot pot. I like the fresh selections of ingredients and sauces. The Cara oranges was a bonus! The staff was very friendly but they don't seem to have enough servers.

The inflation made this $30 all you can eat place a super affordable place. The service is good, the waiters will come pick up used plates regularly and bring back the menu without prompting when you've finished your first round. The snack bar can be improved compared to other hotpot places, the selection is pretty limited.

The $29.99 All you can eat hot pot is unbeatable deal! You can have either very spicy authentic Sichuan style hot pot, or you can choose other non spicy yummy soup base. Sauces are too many varieties to name. There must be one of them you like. Service is great.Food are freshly made. They also offer free appetizers, deserts and fruits. I am the happy customer who will return to this place now and then to satisfy my cravings for hot pot!

Went there for their ACYE dinner. Absolutely amazing. The cold spicy noodles is the most authentic one I have ever had in years. Service was impeccable too. In general I think it surpasses the Haidilao in Fremont. Took some time to go over all the reviews as I was trying to find the reason why it's so underrated. Saw some negative reviews from months ago and I can guarantee that I didn't see any of the issues they have mentioned. Today was my first time visiting this place so I can't judge what happened months ago, but I'd definitely recommend a revisit for those who may had a bad experience.

Excellent service. Food arrives quick. Amazing food. Neat. Nice surroundings. I took my three daughters out to eat hot pot today. Highly recommend the Peking duck. The service is also great. They check in on you constantly and quickly provide you with the things you need.

Was skeptical at first due to bad reviews. We are not from here but decided to drop by. The service was very quick, and the lady was so friendly! The food was good, just not a big fan of the side dishes, wish they had a better variety. Other than that, would come here again!

Almost didn’t try because of the negative reviews, now it’s my default hotpot place in the area. Good meats, quality complementary sides, and free duck rolls? I mean come on! Plus the lady is super nice and friendly. Honestly couldn’t think of a reason to be negative.

Best hot pot place I've tried so far. I love the duck, which they wrapped in a crepe with hoisin sauce and green onion. We had the Tom Yum soup base, which had a little spicy heat. You can have them adjust it if you don't want it too spicy. It was very good. We ordered the beef as our meat, and for vegetables with had lettuce, Napa cabbage, 2 types of mushrooms, puff tofu, and kabocha squash. We also had fish balls stuffed with fish roe. They have sauce bar for you to choose your dipping sauce. The dessert bar had this delicious chrysanthemum Boba jelly dessert, white fungus with dates dessert, and fresh sliced oranges. Their chrysanthemum dessert was refreshing and perfect light dessert to end our lunch. They also have noodles, fried rice, and honey prawns to get yourself next to the dipping sauce bar. I will definitely come back. The place is located across from the Livermore Outlet. Plenty of parking when we arrived.

Got seated quicky on Saturday at 6pm. You order with a dry erase marker and mark up the menu. Includes roast duck wraps, lamb & beef skewers-- in theory it is part of the all-you-can-eat menu but bf and I was too full to order a 2nd round!! This is because while you wait for them to bring out your food, there is a self service sauce bar and food bar-- rice, chowmein, mala cold noodles, mala tripe, honey walnut shrimp, 2 types of chinese sweet dersert (fungus sweet soup and grass jelly/tapioca sweet soup), and oranges. All in all, we regret ordering beef tripe bc my bf got 2 servings of the mala tripes... we ended up with too much tripe. Also regret ordering noddles bc we loved the mala noodles as well. The pork bone broth was authentic and healthy. Can't wait to come again!

Here’s an English version of the review for an authentic Chinese hot pot restaurant that also serves roast duck and skewers: This restaurant is definitely the top choice for tasting authentic Chinese hot pot! The broth is incredibly rich, with various options like traditional spicy, clear, and tomato flavors, each bursting with deep flavor in every sip. The ingredients are exceptionally fresh—the thinly sliced beef and lamb cook in seconds, staying tender and juicy. They also offer a wide variety of vegetables and seafood. In addition to hot pot, they have roast duck and skewers, giving us even more delicious choices! The roast duck has crispy skin and tender meat, perfectly paired with sweet bean sauce and sliced scallions for a truly authentic taste. The skewers are also well-seasoned, with just the right amount of spices, and each one has a smoky, grilled aroma that makes it hard to stop eating. The service is excellent as well; the staff is attentive, refilling the broth and sauces as needed. The whole dining experience was delightful, making us feel like we were back home in China. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Chinese hot pot, roast duck, and skewers!

I have visited this hot pot restaurant many times. Today I brought my friends to eat here again. The boss knew that I was from Chengdu, so he added beef tallow to the soup. The taste was as good as always, and the ingredients were especially fresh. The boss also specially served us freshly grilled pork belly skewers. We really enjoyed the high-quality service. It was a very enjoyable thing to eat authentic spicy hot pot and chat with friends.

I should have taken photos. We love this place. It’s so good. Good service. Great food. The all you can eat is great with the variations of meats and vegetables. Some precooked options. The make your own sauce is perfect for all our different taste buds. It’s was busy but they still do a great job serving tables. Definitely a family go to for us. It was myself, my husband, our 20 year old son and 10 year old daughter. We all love it!

It was definitely worth it. I really like their hotpot/shabu-shabu variety. The meat and vegetables are both fresh. Mimi, our server, is fantastic. She's really accommodating and will recommend the best hotpot combination for you. We are definitely going back for the food and Mimi!

First time here, 2nd time ever having hot pot. Service was friendly. Our table of five including a 7 year old enjoyed everything. The food was fresh and delicious. They have many condiments to choose from- make your own combinations, however, no gluten free soy sauce. They do have a gluten-free white colored noodle, (was either the yam or vermicelli) but it's not designated gf on the menu, and the host didn't know about "gluten-free" and didn't know they did offer a gf option. They definitely need to update gf items on the menu to eliminate this confusion. They didn't have many choices at the salad/cold appetizer bar, but what they had was interesting. They could also improve the serving dishes. They only have one size bowl and plate- small. As a condiment bowl it's too big and as a serving bowl it's too small. We had so many condiment bowls taking up table space and trying to eat the noodles, meat, veggies in them was not ideal. They also need to provide forks, and paper napkins at the table. Overall, it was good and I would go back.

We were in the area and walked around the area to look for a bite for lunch. They serve mainly hotpot here, but we noticed their $15.99 buffet sign, and were curious. A waiter from inside came out to us to show us their menu and when I asked about their buffet, he gladly welcomed us in to check out their mini hot lunch buffet offerings. They had a small selection of items like fried rice, chow mein, veggies, honey walnut shrimp, sweet & sour chicken, and even spicy crawfish. We weren’t craving hotpot, so we decided to try their AYCE lunch buffet. We were surprisingly surprised and for $15.99, it was decent. My favorite was the honey walnut shrimp. Service was great since it wasn’t too busy on a Friday at lunch time. Our server Mimi was very sweet and kept telling us to eat more. We will definitely return sometime to try their AYCE hot pot!

Price is kind of expensive, but the broths are good. We ordered spicy, pork & miso. The ingredients & meats are good. The appetizer bar is kind of meh. Atmosphere is also meh. The layout of the restaurant is kind of odd. The major con is customer service. If you don't speak Chinese, then don't expect to get help fast. It's best to order a lot on your first round, that way you don't have to wait to flag down an employee to order more ingredients. However, there was one female employee that was very kind. We didn't catch her name, but kudos to her! Overall, 3 out of 5 stars.

J
John Kim

My wife and I ordered two separate broths and were charged $5 extra for two broths, which made no sense at all. If we ever go back there, we will seat at the separate tables and order separate both so that we don't get charged $5 extra. That was ridiculous!

The day after thanksgiving $39.99. The choice of meat is not that many. The foods come fast. When made an order they didn't let us know that for additional soup choice they charge $5.00. They put 20% tip for 3 people, usually over 4 people then you can put tip but never happen for 3 people. Will not come back.

We decided to try Top Pot for their AYCE hot pot. Prices aren't cheap; $29.99 USD weekdays, $35.99 USD weekends. Beware, they automatically charge 20% gratuity tip. There's a couple of cold dishes (try the pickled chicken feet), hot dishes (only tried the short ribs) and dessert. Went with pork bone and tom yum kung soup base ($5.00 USD extra). Enjoyed the sliced lamb shoulder, sliced pork belly, spicy duck gizzard and headless shrimp. Standard hot pot fare at a premium price.

Z
Zachary Borja

Overall an OKAY experience for $35/person. Miso & Spicy Soup Bases were extremely salty but flavors were very rich. Standard selection of meats, noodles, and vegggies; Sesame red bean balls were perfect. Ordered numerous items on the menu but we only got 70% of them and staff had to be reminded of the orders 30 minutes into the meal. Tea was ordered but never arrived. Staff did bring extra items that weren’t requested but it was all good things; they did check in every 20 minutes.

Didn't order a hot pot, but get grilled fish. Spicy and tongue-numbing enough. Maybe hotpot is a better choice.

Quality of hot pot meats is fine. Angus beef tonight was the best selection. The fatty beef was dry and don't even try to order the pork - way too dry. The best part is the unlimited roast duck wraps. I haven't had the savory crepe for Peking duck in forever! The skews were good too but hot pot is just fine.

when we went to eat their it was ok at first but when a couple and their son was sitting on a booster seat. When they had to pay the bill the ladies charged them 10 bucks for the booster seat. When it has passed 90 min the charge each person 15 bucks for ever 6 mins. what a big scam. I prefer the other hot pot places

S
Someone CD

There were some good options for the food, and the base was okay, but the reason I gave a 1 star is due to the fact they did not let me even choose the tip. They straight up just told me tip is included, and they already chose the 18% for me. Additionally, they were hovering right beside my table, trying to rush me out, which just made me upset even more. The food is honestly mediocre, and I will not be coming back here due to their shameful service. WOULD NOT EAT HERE AGAIN

H

Definitely will NOT recommend this place or return to this place. There are other better hotpot places in the area. Overall experience is negative. Very disappointing. This place is usually very quiet, so we never tried until today, it was rainy and cold, best for hotpot, we decided to try their ayce $29.99/person (split soup is $5 extra). We went in, it wasn't very busy only a few tables, the waiters saw us but nobody greeted to seat us, we had to wave them down and wait for them to clean a table, which was unnecessary since there were many other tables available. Once seated they bought the utensils only which was dirty and no menu, we had to wave them down once again to get a menu. When we were ready, I tried to explain my order to the lady with the mask, she impatiently said "yeah yeah yeah, it's ok, I understand" without letting me finish my sentence, so I trusted she knows what's she's doing. No suprise, the order comes out wrong! They didn't bring certain things we ordered and added random things we never ordered. When we confronted them just for the proper meat cuts the guy server said "well this is what we have, you'll get the rest later!", Which later they never bought it, we had to ask for it again! Rice was undercooked, can feel the hard raw rice pieces. Severs were unprofessional and impatient. Some Meat cuts and veggies were fresh, the rest like shrimp, pork tongue, octopus, muscles were either old or unfresh.

The most expensive and worst tasting hot pot I've ever been to. I ordered 2 soup bases.. The non-spicy soup base was fishy and bland... The "mild spicy" one was so spicy I couldn't even eat it. Their portions are small and really overpriced. I spent $50 on ONE person, just soup bases, noodles, broccoli, chicken and water for $50. I even left hungry... 😆 the server was nice and offered to make me a sauce. I agreed and ended up being charged for it as well... you'd think that if you're paying $50 to eat some soup you'd at least get free sauce but no. Never going back. Save your money and go to anywhere else. This all made sense on why restaurant was empty to begin with. 😕

R
Ruben

Food was good and the experience was okay. I guess they have a mandatory tip? I paid in cash and she gave me my change… then I go leave and didn’t hear the lady the first time and she follows me out “Sir! Sir!” Literally to ask for a tip. I won’t be going back. I would get it if the service was good, but I felt we were over looked. It was my daughter and I. The service wasn’t the best. We never got asked if we wanted more food or if we needed anything.

J
Jeff lu

Food can be good. But I don’t like the way it collects tips. It automatically adds the tip to the total. Minimum 18%. It feels like tipping is mandatory, I would tip but I feel uncomfortable! In addition, $10 is charged for babies under 4 feet, unless they are still drinking milk powder. First time and last time to go.

S
Stefanie S

The worst hot pot I’ve ever had. Seriously think the five-star reviews were given by the owner or some AI algorithm. So overpriced for the quality and variety—no, there’s not even variety there. The peanut butter sauce is SO salty, and there’s not even 沙茶酱. And for the food, check the menu you will understand where my criticism is coming from. The only one good thing is the service, the waitress is pretty nice and attentive.

We are a party of 3 and everyone on our party have diarrhea right after eating. The food wasn’t hygienic. Avoid this place.

⭐️ 1 star | Very Disappointing Experience – Will Not Return I visited Top Pot Restaurant in Dublin in late May, and unfortunately, the experience was thoroughly disappointing. I would not recommend this place. First, the moment I walked in, the music was loud and fast-paced, creating a rushed and stressful atmosphere — it felt more like they wanted you to eat quickly and leave rather than enjoy your meal. It completely ruined my appetite. Second, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The floor was sticky, clearly not cleaned properly, and the tables were dirty with peeling paint. It gave a very unhygienic impression. Third, the food itself was poor. The hot pot broth was way too salty, almost undrinkable. The selection of ingredients was very limited, and nothing looked particularly fresh. The vegetable choices were especially lacking. Lastly, the tipping policy was shocking — the minimum tip starts at 18% and seems to be mandatory, regardless of service quality. This felt unreasonable, especially considering the overall experience. In summary, the place felt unclean, the food wasn’t fresh, and the atmosphere was unpleasant. No matter the price, I would never return and cannot recommend it to others.
