I have been coming here since I was a kid and this place is number one on my list for mexican food always friendly and always really good!

Best burritos, best tacos, been going there for over 15 years and they still haven't disappointed. Green sauce is a must

I've been going here for 10 years now. Still one of my favorite Mexican food joints. Try the asada and bean burrito with pico de gallo and maybe the carne asada fries. So delicious! Also, the staff is friendly, and at least the cashier has been working here as long as I've been coming.

Consistency is key with me. All I come for are those hard shell tacos with rice. The flavor, the preparation and that meat sauce...Damn can't wait to go back. Close to CSUSB, fair prices good serving size. What more can u ask for. Taditional home cooked Mexican taste. Sauces are bomb. Ask for the XxX sauce for more of a kick in the salsa.

Finally found a place with great hard shell tacos! Had both shredded beef and chicken. Both equally delicious. Had a bit of a wait but nothing excessive.

Pacos Tacos is such a gem of san bernardino. They have two locations in SB one in the north end and one highland ave. Their tortas, floutas and Horchata are DELICIOUS!! theyve been around a long time, and the food is great price. authentic mexamerican taste. Theyre a simple, casual business who work fast and keep to their traditions. Ask for the extra-hot green sauce you will not regret it!!!!

Friendly, fairly fast, and so delicious. Admittedly I've only ever gotten the carne asada fries, but they're AMAZING, and the best price around.

This place is the bomb authentic Mexican food been going here for 20 years actually not here they used to have another location on highland by home Depot That's where I used to always go but they shut that one down and now I'm forced to go here but it's worth the trip never dissatisfied

Very good, the red and green sauces are very refined. A bit busy, but who isn't these days. Just mind your manners and be patient.

This place is worth a shot if you're in the area. There is usually a short line here, but they work through it pretty quick. The inside is pretty small, but there is some outdoor seating. If you have a large group, I would suggest ordering it to go. The food here is good, which is evident from the steady flow of people coming in. The last time I went, I had a churro, which was really good and I highly recommend it. They have a fee for debit card purchases under a certain amount, but that's pretty common for small business, but don't be surprised by the fee.

Omg! This place is so yummy! The people who work there are also very nice and friendly. The green salsa is one of my favorites. Their tacos are so nice and crunchy! The chips are so good, I cannot stop eating them once I start.

I have been going to Paco's for close to 40 years, and they are one of the most consistently tasty food places out there. It is always good. This is the real deal. The same family still runs both locations and they use the same recipes at both locations also. If you are looking for some flavorful Mexican food, you absolutely can't beat Paco's Tacos. I will continue to drive the half hour/45 minutes that it takes me to get there as long as they keep making food. It is just that good!

They have the BEST shredded beef tacos. They are always so nice. They have a great menu so there is something for everyone. The prices are average. I like to call ahead to pick up my order.

Pretty good prices, the chile relleno burrito, bean+cheese+rice burrito, and the al pastor are all fantastic. Wish the salsa was spicier, but it does add a nice flavor. The burgers are also pretty good, and they're really well priced. Usually quick service - I went in during a rush, and even with 5 people in front of me, I got my food within 15 minutes.

Have been going here all my life, and never have I been disappointed. Shredded beef garbage burrito, shredded beef tacos, quesadillas and much more are always delicious. Make sure to get the green sauce it adds that extra level touch

My wife and I love this place its a Lil hole in the wall but the food is delicious. The staff is friendly,usually owner takes the orders. For a mom n pop shop the prices are fair the flavor is there. its East LA Latino comfortfood. Tacos remind me of my youngerdays .

I don't usually consume head tacos in any establishment, since I know that not everyone knows how to prepare them properly, they told me that Paco's has incorporated new dishes to their menu and the head tacos were included, so without previous expectations I ordered two tacos and the only thing I can say is that they are the best head tacos I have ever tasted in my life. 🍋🌮🤤😋

My fiance prefers pacos beans and rice over anywhere! They also have the best green sauce ive ever had! My whole family loves pacos, my brother has to go anytime hes in town. The best Bean & Cheese burritos & Red Sauce ! I’ve been eating here for over 15 years. It hasn’t changed, of course prices go up over the years . I cant believe someone complained in the ratings that burritos weren’t 2.35 anymore like in 2009. What a joke that was over 10 years ago. This review is authentic . Food tastes like it was made with love. Reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. We drive 30 min to get here and will keep coming back.

Everytime I've gotten food here, it's always been good! I really like their 3 in 1 Shredded Beef Burrito, my husband likes to get the Pork Fries with Pico De Gallo and Nacho Cheese Sauce. I tried the Taco Salad w/shredded beef this last time- it was yummy! Their green salsa is really good too!!

May 2025 update. These are still the best cheese quesadilla ever. I will warn you once you try this beauty it will change your life. Just order a regular cheese quesadilla, they will ask you if it's OK with a "meat sauce" say YES. it is a truly amazing meal, pair it up with their red sauce and you will be in Hog heaven. The best cheese quesadilla ever!!!! Been a few years since I've been in and stopped in today and it was just as always. Creamy and delicious!!!!

The prices are great and fair. The lady who makes food has been working here for 30 years, or so that’s what I understood. I tried the sope with chicharrón and it was tasty. Tastes just like home. I personally get the BRC burrito with fries or the shredded beef hard shell tacos combo plate with rice and beans, red and green sauce are fuego but my favorite is the green sauce. You can now buy a larger container of sauce if you like too! I love this place and the people who run it! Wishing pacos more success and growth in the future! 🤙

If you want enchiladas made with type of home made sauce your mom used to make,this is the place to go to. everybody else uses ready made canned sauce which is terrible. for those who like hot sauce their extra hot green sauce is the best. Their bean and cheese burritos are the best. I would recommend Pacos for anybody that likes good mexican food.

Under new management, but still the same classic taste!! The new owner and his wife were really hospitable to me and my family right as they were closing! They took the time to get to know us and made sure we were fed properly! Definitely coming back!

went in to get the brc but left with there machaca burrito it was great, also had the shredded beef quesadia , it was great tasting and was huge , i live down the street from Paco's & go in reg, the comment some user posted about it "smelling like a restroom is BS . it is very clean , im sure it was posted by a rival restaurant thats just hating on Paco's awesome food

Best carne asada burrito I've ever had even though it wasn't as sizeable compared with albertos, their salsa is weak and needs less tomato.

This is one of the best Mexican food places in the area of San Bernardino. I would suggest you take out not much room to eat at the place. My favorite is beans,rice, and cheese burrito. Try it you'll like it.

Simple, nothing fancy but perfect for some good fast Mexican food. Good prices, friendly service. Only reason not five stars is cause u have to park and get off to get your food and if that's the case then the inside presentation i.e. decorations, colors, paint, music, etc should have a more comfortable welcoming latin feel to it. Just my opinion.

Paco's has been a northend landmark for as long as i can remember. Ive eaten here a thousand times probably and maybe 10 of those were unsatisfactory. Their prices have gone up but so has everywhere elsewhere

Normally the burrito is very good I get the pork bean rice and cheese but the last couple of times and meat is very tough I think they're cooking it too fast

If good tasting food was your desire, stop by this place. It may be lacking on decor and possibly service, but the food is well worth your time.

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP UNRELATED TO THE PREVIOUS OWNERS. Sergio and Lester sold the business recently. Although the recipes are supposedly the same, and I've only had it twice under the new ownership, it didn't taste like Paco's. I've always enjoyed their tamales. They always came wrapped in their husks still, and the foil wrapped. I ordered tamales a few weeks ago and they were removed from foil and husk, and placed into cardboard boxes. They were dry and though I was able to salvage them somewhat by wetting the exterior of the tamales and microwaving for about 30 seconds, I have no intention of ordering tamales from the new ownership again. The pollo asado burrito was okay, but it just wasn't as flavorful. Unfortunately, this historic San Bernardino staple of quality Mexican food is gone... RIP Paco's Tacos.

Score: 70/100, a solid C- I got the chicken tacos, the unfortunate reality is that the tortillas are likely reheated via microwave or just outright reheated quickly. When you cook a tortilla, you can tell the difference between one on the stove and one in the microwave. The tortillas texture is immediately noticeable. The chicken was just bleh, it was boiled and that was pretty much it. The entire experience is just meh, the chicken was definitely not what I was hoping for or the tortillas. The salsa was bleh as well. The owner is nice but I would not come back unfortunately.

Went to Paco's on May 20, 2023, called in my order ahead, BUT on this day, I had a female cashier who helped me. RUDE!!! I'm sitting there, waiting for my burrito's. I saw the cook placed my 2 burritos on the "ready" counter. The female cashier, saw her. And continued to finish filling all the hot sauce containers, she took a order from customer who just walked in and then walked to the back kitchen, doing who know what, while my burrito's were sitting there ready at the counter. When she finally helped me, I asked for green sauce. She looked at me straight in my eyes, put red sauce in my bag and gave me 1 green sauce with a smile on her face. WTH??? I go there quite a bit because I love this place, so I didn't say anything and still said thank you. But have they lost a customer.....no but I definitely won't be going there as MUCH 😔 Too bad she was so rude!!! No more spreading how good Paco's is.

The food quality was average, but the service was bad. The employees don't seem to have sympathy nor any charisma. They seem to act like if they hate their job really bad. I stopped going & found a better restaurant near the University.

Didn't really enjoy the food it was not what I was expecting it has good reviews but I really didn't think the food was all that I will not be going back there ever again.

Its sad when they dnt infor. The costumers their veggie burrito or their burrito with beans has pork. Some of these ppl eat the burrito with beans and rice i beleive it has bc they cant eat meat or they dnt eat pork. It should be labled woth lard on there.

First off let me say back wheni was coming here EVERY week in 2009 as a highschool senior the burritos were bigger and were $2.35 tax in ckuded otd[out the door] now new years day I came in and ordered 2 bean and chees burritos... asked for extra beans and extra cheese...checked my order, burritos were not only small but did not qualify for EXTRA of anything...if anything it seemed like i payed $9.xx for just two REGULAR burritos. The manager/owner is the same guy from 2009. I even talked to him about how i lobed coming there....very DISAPPOINTED not only with the Burrito size, the charge was the same price of another burrito. Feel scammed. But its a small price to oay given that i will hope people hold this BUSINESS accountable for the POOR quality service and portion. Specifically i asked if the burrito woukd be bigger in size. Specifically the answer was yes. When i got home i found out that i was like i said prior. Charged the orice of 4 burritos and give 2....every year i stop by to see if business has i.proved and every year it is declining in quality service. Poor cooks seem to be working at minimum wage or below. I suppory businesses that are fair. Not GREEDY. This is the first review i have decided to write in the past 9 years. Not a rant, bit just dont eat here if you want To be ripped off.

Good customer service, but my co-workers and I didn't like the food. Meat in the tacos had no flavor neither did the beans and rice. Food temperature not warm enough.

It’s not even a mandatory need to wear mask according to San Bernardino and its whole county I was turned away during my lunch break for no mask how tf are you going to be a sheep like everyone else and not even have a sign on the outside about needing to wear a mask bad business no wonder it’s in San Bernardino wish I could give it no stars

Wanted to try a new taco shop near me, big mistake. Burritos are small and priced like normal taco shops. The torilla is literally a soft taco tortilla from the crocery store, not the large burrito tortillas that most taco shops have. Quality of food is poor. Meat wasnt even cooked since the cheese was solid when i got home and not melted like most taco places. I wouldnt even want to try it again, when a taco shop doesnt have hot carrots run!!!!

I used to love this place but after 2014 it went downhill. It’s nasty now with your order being microwaved before you get it more than 90% of the time. With the tiny burritos with canned meat and nasty watery Salsa for the stale chips . If you want real food that’s worth the price go to Rosa Maria’s.

We came here from LA on the way to Palm Springs because they had 5 stars. We got 4 chicken tacos. Man these were so dry we could not even eat them. We threw all the food away. It was really terrible.

Literally just watched this girl MICROWAVE my tortillas.. and even worse she microwaved them IN STYROFOAM... that's not ok!! Tastes plain and for $2 you can get way better tacos..
