Finest Sushi has the finest sushi! This is my go-to spot for takeout sushi in Sunnyside. Although the storefront is unassuming, the fish and rice are super fresh, service is quick, and prices are unbeatable. My go-to order is 5 rolls for $30 - spicy tuna, salmon avocado, shrimp tempura, yellowtail scallion, and eel avocado. For lunch they include soup/salad. They also have fantastic party trays for amazing value. I ordered one for my friend's bridal shower and they really delivered! Everyone was asking me where the sushi was from because they thought the rolls were so good. Also the owner of the place is always so kind, she even threw in a few rolls for free for my vegetarian friend. Will continue getting my sushi fix here!

It’s my second time ordering from this spot and I really like the taste, the quality it’s not bad, their not small and no selfish with the ingredients, affordable prices and the promos on Uber Eats fire they have promos for buy one get one free✨ it’s my new fav sushi spot to take out around here! I’ve frequented Finest Sushi several times the past month and must admit that their service and food warrant a review. I’ve recently ordered the shrimp vegetable tempura (ate a shrimp :)) from the appetizer menu and the tempura is fried perfectly and served with a delicious tempura sauce. It’s generally served with shrimp and mixed vegetables (sweet potato’s, carrots, pumpkin, onion, broccoli and cauliflowers). They always have the perfect crunch and batter to vegetable ratio. Additionally, I ordered the 3 rolls platter. One platter was served with a variety of chicken and shrimp tempura and the second platter with a spicy salmon roll, an Alaskan roll and shrimp tempura. Each roll is always, rolled to perfection and absolutely fresh and delicious. Also, I was pleasantly impressed when I saw the fish purveyor making a delivery of fresh fish first thing in the morning! The tuna caught my eye because of its lovely color however I was in the mood for tempura :). I’ll be ordering Tuna within the next few days. If you ever order pick up you know the owners are always working and so friendly! Make a visit to Finest Sushi or order online but order! Let’s continue to support small businesses across our community.

Food was good. We had the lunch special bento box and sushi and sashimi combo. It was extremely cold inside granted it was 37 degrees out. But overall, very nice place. The service was great. And the speed of the food was also a plus!

Solid sushi lunch specials and lovely salad - good portion too. Never had an issue with taste or feeling unwell after eating their sushi and super nice owners.

Keepin it real out here in Woodside Sushi was fresh but some pieces have dried up hard rice, service was decent but the lady there was very nice. Went there cause i was nearby, need lunch and wanted to eat something healthy for once so goal achieved.

Just tried some of their rolls & Hibachi steak entree today. Rolls were decent, the fried rice and salad that came with the entree was fresh. Soup was a little bland but decent also. The only problem I had was the steak in the Hibachi entree: it was very rough and almost impossible to chew. Maybe they could use different part of beef? The sauce and veggies in it was yum and the fried rice was great but the beef was just too hard and rubbery. I’d definitely go back for more and I’m glad this opened up in the neighborhood. Welcome to Sunnyside!

The sushi is fresh, and it’s made right in front of you, which adds to the experience. I love how convenient it is, and the quality has always been top-notch. Sushi was mediocre at most. Wife and I didn't feel like we enjoyed it. It felt try and old. Don't know why it's dry. We felt the service could have been better- as well. No answers to questions and no smiles. We probably won't come again due to dryness in food. -Jack and Marissa

I gave them another shot after the first time, hoping it was a one-off, but it happened again. The hair was intertwined with the sushi rice in the roll, like it had been mixed. I don’t know what definition you have of fried calamari, but for sure, this is not what you expect in your delivery!!! Fried pieces of bad food!!! Sorry, but it’s horrible flavor, and the people who do this never clean the fryer, a big piece of smoked calamari as you see in the photo, burned, tasteless, and nothing that makes you want to eat!!! Very bad 👎
