Spent a nice afternoon at Agave restaurant which is part of Hotel Azul. We parked our car across the street for MXN 250 and were given a beachfront seat with no minimum spend. I think they give you the option of paying for parking or clocking up spend, in which case the parking can be free with a validated meal receipt. Daiquiris and Mojitos were tasty and probably standard price for Tulum but still on the steep side. Apparently they have a beautiful rooftop overlooking a jungle but we didn’t head up as the weather wasn’t great when we visited

Finally a spot in Tulum that is not overrated! We had lunch at the Agave restaurant. The place is pretty hard to find. It's inside the Hotelito Azul. It does have free parking as long as you show the receipt from the restaurant. Delicious elevated Mexican cuisine. We had tacos and enchiladas and two drinks for about 70 USD. We can also use the beach chairs and cabanas. Not crowded at all. A great find!

Um ligar especial. Pará pasar o dia. Fomos atendidos por Victor. Um garçom gentil, atencioso. Não é um lugar barato, mas vale muito a pena.

Llegamos a este lugar luego de recorrer la zona hotelera en bicicleta con la idea de almorzar y perder usar el club de playa. No te exigen un consumo mínimo para poder usar las instalaciones. El lugar es muy amplio, muy lindo y limpio. Los precios te sorprenden por ubicarse en la zona hotelera ya que no son caros como en otros clubes de playa. La atención es muy cordial y amable. Lugar totalmente recomendable para disfrutar de un día de playa.

Desearía haberlo conocido primero! De todos los beach clubs que estuve en Tulum, sin dudas este fue el mejor. La atención de primera, todo lo que comí una delicia (recomiendo mucho el pulpo a las brasas) y los tragos excelentes. Además, todo el espacio estaba impecable, las reposeras muy cómodas y la playa limpia. Por último y más importante para todo turista, tengo que destacar que fue el único beach club de todo Tulum que no me engañó con el consumo mínimo ni las propinas. Sigan así !!!

El lugar es muy lindo, el personal es muy amable y no te piden consumo mínimo. Los precios son un poco caros pero lo común hablando de Tulum, pagué 700 pesos por dos desayunos y estuvimos ahí cerca de 5 horas. Lo recomiendo mucho

I visited this beach club today with my cousin per her recommendation, and I was very satisfied with my visit. We had a nice cocoon with a great view of the ocean, and our waiter, Victor, was very pleasant. I ordered a daiquiri, onion rings, and the shrimp tacos, and everything was 10 out of 10 delicious! The next time I am in Tulum, Agave will be on the list as a must visit. Thank you for the excellent service!

My husband and I were staying in Tulum town and were looking for a nice club/ restaurant to use beach facilities. What a great find! We spent a day relaxing at the beach and using the restaurant for meals and drinks. The beach is beautifully located (one of the last resorts in the south, hence a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Tulum) and the beach beds are very comfy. The restaurant offers great drinks; food is average but I guess you do not come to Tulum beach restaurant for culinary experiences. There was no minimum spend and no entrance fee, plus parking was included - it felt too good to be true in a place which feels like a rip off on every corner. Not sure if they will keep the same model in high season (visited early November) or if they only do it to ramp up as the place is relatively new, but definitely worth a try if you are looking for a serviced beach in Tulum!

En temporada baja definitivamente el mejor lugar para disfrutar de tranquilidad en la playa con unas instalaciones aceptables, su frente de la playa limpio, sus camastros en buenas condiciones, la atención buena, los sanitarios y cambiadores podrían mejorar y estar separados ya que son mixtos y puede resultar incómodo. Fuera de ese detalle todo muy bien., regresaremos pronto. El consumo mínimo es de 600 pesos para usar el club de playa y vale la pena.

The food was good, but pricey and the service was great, however being charged 5 dollars for a tiny diet pepsi is crazy. They charged me this for the 222ml can. I would have given 4 starts, but the crazy prices just made it so I could not.

4 stars for ambiance both on the roof and on the beach club, 2 stars for food and 0 stars for drinks on the rooftop. We ordered the pamelo happy hour drinks and they were made with soda?? Like Coca-Cola, not with grapefruit. It was undrinkable so I ordered a spicy margarita instead (and paid for the happy hour still) and it was somehow the worst margarita I’ve ever had in Tulum and I lived here for 8 months last year. It’s been a few days and I’m still so disappointed that this is where we had our last meal of our trip. It was extremely overpriced ($25 a drink) and so so bad. Service was kind but it would have been better for at least one of the drinks to be taken off the bill. I’d avoid this place, there are tons of better options in tulum.

Worst steak ever!!! Ordered medium, received a well done and dry. Not hot as if it was cooked earlier and slightly warmed. Very disappointed!

Good variety of food. Service Victor was really helpful. Easy and fast. Too bad they invited us to go to the pool rooftop area, kids included. Then for no reason changed their mind and told us NO when we were already up with our kids. Lamentable! I will not go again.

Ordered an expensive steak asked for medium and it was tough, dry and over cooked. They didn’t take it off the bill even though we couldn’t really eat it. Salmon ceviche was good though.

There are a lot of problem with the restaurant, bad fish a d shrimp. I would not eat here if it was free, we ended up going to other places out of the property.

Az itallapon az állt “organic” ital, ami normális esetben azt jelentené, hogy frissen facsart, kb 180 peso volt, na ezt egy kétdecis müanyag pohárkába kaptuk, tele jéggel, és minden bizonnyal dobozos üdítő volt, köze nem volt semmi féle frissenfacsart léhez. Csipegetnivalónak mirelit stake burgonyát kapunk egy kechuppal, 210 pesóért. Megértem hogy egy ilyen helyen igazábol az atmoszférár fizet az ember, na de kérem… A számlán autómatikusan fel volt tüntetve a 15% borravaló, amit azért mint fogyasztó vendég én szeretnék eldönteni, hogy adok e. Egy jó szervízre, jó minőségre szivesen adok. De másfél deci dobozos üdítőért és mirelit krumplira, koszos mosdóra nem szívesen adok semmit! Így jeleztem is, hogy nem szàndékozom a 15%os borravaló lehetőségével élni, köszönöm szépen! Tovább nem ajánlom

Llagamos por consumo, servicio era mal, no nos ofrecieron toallas, esperamos 40 min de pedido cundo lugar no tenía gente gente, era dos camas. Al final de la cuenta nadie nos comentó que falta algo para cerrar consumo, pagamos y fuimos a su estacionamiento para recoger el carro y nos quería cobrar 200 pesos por 2.5 hora. Por no cumplir consumo que nadie nos comentó. 0 agradable lugar, atención de el servicio. No recomiendo si no quieren ruinar su ánimo.

Terrible experiencia. Mejor vayan a otro lado. Pésimo!! Esta gente no entiende que están ahuyentando a todos con este trato y estos precios. Plena temporada baja y ni por ser locales detienen su abuso. Por eso esta vacío y que bueno porque nadie quiere un trato así. En más de horas no llegó nadie. Quizá fuimos los únicos en todo el día y nos tratan mal. Somos nómadas digitales que ahora vivimos en Tulum y no recomendamos este lugar por los precios excesivamente caros y cobros "ocultos" como que nos ofrecieron toallas al llegar y sin haberlas usado nos las cobraron. Con trabajo nos dieron algo de comer porque no tenían todos los platillos de su menú. 3 platillos y 3 bebidas fueron más de $4,000 pesos (250usd), ni siquiera usamos sus instalaciones solo comimos y fue más caro que hospedarse ahí. Más caro que Dubai y que Mikonos, Al menos en esos lugares son de lujo y pisos de mármol aquí tienes piso de arena y baños de con materiales baratos Por cierto no te dejan cambiarte de área, si quieres ir a la terraza del roof te dicen que allá es otro consumo mínimo otra vez adicional al de abajo.

En diciembre de 2022 estuvimos alojados en el Hotel, fuimos un día a cenar al restaurante. Bastante decepcionante. La comida sin mas, a precios elevadisimos. Pedimos dos copas de vino que estaba picadisimo. El personal se nota que lo único que le importa es la propina, que por cierto estaba camuflada en la cuenta. Cuidado porque ponen ellos la propina que quieren y no informan de la misma.

Genuine tourists review: We got food poisoning both my partner and I. We ordered mango juice for my daughter and they served a strawberry juice. The corn ribs were passed/rotten, I took a bite and knew i'd get sick. I threw up 17 times during overnight and didn't sleep because I was too sick. The beef tacos were disgusting, way overcooked, no taste, absolutely tasteless. Tequila was way way overpriced. Everything was overpriced. Getting inside took hours because no one was at the security gate. The place was especially dirty for Tulum standards. Kitchen, restaurant, and whole building were dirty and felt messy. Ignore the view, go get it elsewhere, avoid at all costs.

Firstly the entrance was a building site, so we were made to go through a cafe instead. Signage was unclear throughout the maze of the hotel. We booked for sunset however it transpired this is only available from the rooftop bar. So we decided to go there first for a drink before dinner. The bar service was shockingly slow despite no one else being up there, the barman spent 10 minutes on his phone before making our drinks. To pay, he had to call someone else to come up with a card machine. The tables were falling apart with dangerous nails sticking out. We should have known better considering the entrance and bar service but stuck to our dinner plans at Agave. It is a lovely setting but unfortunately one of the worst dinners we've had in a long time. My steak was slimey (only way I can describe it) and it and the chips both had a faint taste of fish, like neither the grill or fryer had been cleaned properly. My partner recieved the wrong order despite us reconfirming before the waiter left the table, though it was promptly replaced he also didn't like the taste and by then we were fed up from the place and just wanted to leave. When it came to paying the waiter had two phones and a calculator just to sort the bill. Views are worth a drink at the bar if you are close by, don't travel out of your way like we did! Food was very poor, service a bit of a shambles and environment not as expected.
