Siempre es un lugar rico para desayunar, no me gusta que no hay estacionamiento pero tiene muchas cosas que lo compensan por ejemplo Fede es un súper sol, el personal atento, y de los alimentos ni hablemos 🤯, este lugar es la parada rigurosa cada vez que vengo.

Este lugar es un hermoso rincón de Tulum, con comida deliciosa, todo hecho en casa y fresco, una vista increíble al mar y un excelente servicio. Lo recomiendo muchísimo para ir a desayunar y luego quedarte a gusto en la playa.

Posada Margherita in the Tulum beach area is a gem that shouldn’t be missed. I had the pleasure of indulging in their PROSCIUTTO E FUNGHI pizza, and it was an absolute delight. The combination of tomato sauce, prosciutto, mozzarella, and mushrooms creates a symphony of flavors that’s both savory and satisfying. Each bite perfectly balances the richness of the prosciutto with the earthy notes of the mushrooms, all brought together by the creamy mozzarella and the tangy tomato sauce. It’s the kind of pizza that lingers on your taste buds, making you savor every last morsel. To complement the pizza, I opted for the PINK FLAMINGO smoothie. Served in a mason jar, the mix of watermelon, lemon, and basil was both juicy and refreshing—a perfect drink for a day by the beach. The flavors were bright and invigorating, making it an ideal choice for cooling off under the sun. The ambiance at Posada Margherita is equally impressive. The decor is cozy and welcoming, especially at the entrance, setting a relaxed tone as soon as you walk in. The servers were amazing—attentive and provided excellent customer service, ensuring that the experience was top-notch from start to finish. You can also enjoy a sunbed for a minimum purchase, or simply relish the food inside with no minimum consumption, which makes it a versatile spot whether you want to lounge by the beach or dine indoors. Although I didn’t get the chance to experience the rooms, the design was incredibly attractive and appealing, and I’d definitely like to spend a night there in the future. If you’re in Tulum and looking for a fantastic meal in a beautiful setting, Posada Margherita is definitely worth a visit. It’s the perfect place to spend a leisurely Sunday by the beach, enjoying great food and drinks in a welcoming atmosphere.

Restaurant review only. We were staying next door and popped over with our toddler for dinner. The staff were very friendly. The pizza was yummy and they also gave us a complimentary focaccia bread, cheese & vegetable platter that was delicious. Our toddler loved the bread. The portions were generous and we ended up taking some of what we ordered to go. The setup was also toddler friendly which was nice. Our little guy played in the sand and on the daybed. The homemade chocolate and coconut gelato were delicious, and we’ll probably return again to try more of their flavors.

This review is for their restaurant! Touted as one of the best pizza spots in Tulum, the restaurant did not disappoint. We walked in to grab a pizza, they were super helpful with their service, got our pizza ordered and made quickly. Even made it crispy on request and had us out within 10 minutes. Would totally recommend and confirm the pizza quality and hype!

Posada Margherita is one of the original places left in Tulum.. the atmosphere is simple and magical, from the moment you enter you are surrounded by beautiful plants cared for every day by the owner.. along the way you discover small works of art created by an Italian painter like the small sanctuary with the Madonna, the decorated vases and in the bar area another painting with the Madonna with the child on the scooter.. the food is simple and amazing.. the rooms give the atmosphere of being in a place that gives you peace.. the staff is wonderful. Beautiful and original resort.

My favorite location in Tulum! I returned with a friend after 7 years. It has been incredibly wonderful in the very changed Tulum environment. Warm and welcoming team always available and attentive, great food as I remembered and better! Tulum has lots of options and Posada remains my haven and a place never to miss! Can’t wait to return!

I’ve been going to eat at Posada Margherita for the past 15 years, enjoying the same original menu that has been feeding people for over 20 years now. Imagine how good the food must be if you serve it for over twenty years.. I’ve also stayed in Posada Margherita and the experience is authentic and relaxing. The staff is super friendly, they Trully make you feel at home. Will definitely be back, and highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience amazing Italian food, or a perfect night sleep.

We go here several times a year for a stay-cation. The rooms are so unique with great linens, powerful showers, and powerful AC - my husband Runs hot. The people here are so welcoming, it’s one of the only places on the beach to have intimate conversations without loud music, and it’s kid and pet friendly. You have to have their shrimp pasta, and sausage pizza!

I cannot say enough about this gorgeous location for dinner. We arrived for our first trip to Tulum and on the first day, as we got acquainted with the area, we just happened upon Posada Margherita from the road. It's very unassuming and we almost missed it, except I love greenery and it lulled me in. As we walked through this long path lit by candles and covered in greenery, it felt like we were transferred to a tiny town in Italy! We arrived in the restaurant (in late May, it was pretty slow which made it even better for us!) and so we had our choice of seating. We sat inside but right at the "window" to the beach and was instantly greeted with service with a smile. We shared a margherita pizza, each had a soda, and had to try gelato and it was only US$45 with the tip! Given our beachfront view, amazing service, delicious food and the romantic ambience.... we could not have had a better experience! We even returned towards the end of the week because we loved it so much and sat in the sand all to ourselves. We were shocked they were not busier but must have just been due to slow season. Every staff member was attentive and accommodating, the pasta was okay but we preferred the pizza. All in all, this place was a dream!!

The pizza was great and the atmosphere is really nice. We chose to sit on the beach but seating is available in doors as well. The beach is a great place to hang out and have a few drinks. Holy moly. We were super overwhelmed with our entire Tulum experience and this spot completely saved us. So many cozy/shady spots to enjoy the day with delightful drinks and AWESOME pizza. The staff made us feel super welcome to enjoy the beach for the entire day. No one hassled us to order more (but we always did just to make sure we weren’t camping out. Plus everything was awesome, so it was an easy sell.) Prices were super fair for the location. Perfect way to enjoy the beaches of Tulum. Bonus points for all of the pelican and frigate birds flying overhead!

Fui muchas veces, la primera ves que fui el precio estaba bien, la segunda el precio me pareció carísimo fui a desayunar y la verdad no me gustó, el lugar es hermoso y la ubicación es perfecta.

El lugar es demasiado lindo y también es un sitio pet friendly. El club de playa también es muy agradable. Lo que no nos gustó fue un poco la falta de atención por parte de los meseros. Adicionalmente la relación calidad- precio de los alimentos deja mucho que desear. En este caso nosotros pedimos una pizza y pasta. Los costos son elevados, esperaba más de la comida. Mi pizza no fue realmente genial, era demasiada masa para lo que tenía de toppings.

La comida está bien pero la cuenta nos salió carísima. Pagamos 159 dólares 4 platos de pasta y dos tragos. Realmente hay lugares mejores y más baratos para salir a comer, quizás no en esa location pero bueno es un tema de gustos. El ambiente es lindo hay mesas en la playa. Nosotros no volveremos nos resulta muy caro para nuestro cambio.

Este lugar esta un poco complicado por que la mayoria de restaurantes de esta zona no cuenta con estacionamiento, asi que dejamos nuestro carro en un lugar y nos cobraron $200.00 y cuando llegamos al lugar de Posada Margerhita se nos hizo muy original el lugar, solo que el menu muy complicado y reducido. No hubo flexibilidad en cambiar ciertas cosas de una pizza. Al pedir la cuenta ya viene la propina sugerida de 15%. Se nos hizo caro para comernos una pizza con dos bebidas fueron $700.00.

Apesar de que siempre es recomendado por los locales y la gente que viaja, para mi no va más allá de lo simpático del lugar. La comida hay que reconocer que si es muy italiana. No tiene nada de adaptaciones. Se siente como comer en una Trattoria italiana. Sin embargo no son sabores que sorprendan. Es básico, con precios de Tulum y eso si, un ambiente muy único. He ido dos veces y siempre la conclusión es la misma.

Súper servicio, pizzas súper ricas, las pastas bienisimas, todo muuuy bien. El único detalle, son los perros sueltos por la playa, se robaron una parte de mi pizza, orinaron la silla del vecino etc. Me encantan los perros, pero pienso que deberían de estar con correa cada perro con su dueño

This review is for the restaurant. We live between NYC and Miami so paying top dollar for a meal is normal to us, however I did want to write this review for travelers who may not be in the same situation. We paid $95 at lunch for pizza, a bowl of pasta with red sauce (no protein), and one NON alcoholic watermelon drink. Crazy considering our 15 course Omakese with fish flown in from Japan at KUU was $300 (affordable). The food was delicious, service was good. Just wild pricing for red sauce and pizza /pasta.

Dog friendly! We Went for lunch. It was a beautiful quaint little spot. I loved the styling, the entrance had you feeling like you were entering a secret garden. The food was good. The issue we had was with the service - we waited and waited and ended up leaving without our drinks and dessert order. They just never came out despite having asked multiple times. It took us 2 hours to have lunch. Somehow they managed to bring us the bill on time but the missing items were never brought out. We paid for it anyways waiting another 20 minutes and gave up. If you have the time, stop by, if you don’t, elsewhere will be quicker.

The restaurant is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. However, our food experience was not good. We ordered a pizza, which was above average but not great (6.5/10) and a pasta with broccoli and mushrooms, which tasted really off. The pasta had a weird bad taste. Considering their location on the beach and their high rating we were disappointed. Paid over 1000mxn pesos for average pizza and bad pasta (1 star), but the venue is really beautiful and the setting on the beach is nice (+1 star) BEWARE: no credit cards, cash only

Pésimo servicio, muy groseros todos pero más el gerente, pésima actitud y empezó a insultar a la gente. Un italiano pelón muy irrespetuoso que nos faltó el respeto y cruzó la línea. La pizza no valió la pena, muy caro para lo que es, casi no tenía queso… no lo recomiendo para nada. Hay lugares mucho más bonitos, ricos, con mejor servicio y con mejor ambiente a 2 pasos del lugar.

No aceptan cash y es muy caro, por lo que te limitan seguir pidiendo más ya que con dos platillos y bebidas se te acaba el efectivo. No entienden que traer efectivo en Tulum es muy peligroso por las condiciones y fuerzan a los comensales a una opción de pago. Las pastas son muy ricas pero las pizzas es mas pan que ingredientes. Decepcionante
