Being from South Texas I consider myself an expert on Mexican food. One of the most distinctive parts is a restaurant having homemade corn tortillas. This place is one of the first this far north that actually offers homemade tortillas in both corn and flour. Prices are fair and service is decent. Overall a good stop if you are traveling thru the area

I ordered the cheese enchiladas. Service was great prompt and kind. Food was okay. Plate was screaming hot, so im assuming my plate was a reheat from previously prepared food. I would stop there again, but probably order a different item.

Great flautas! There's a place near my work that has been far and away my measurement standard for years. These are the first that have come close. So if I'm on the road here I will definitely stop, even though the place itself doesn't look like much.

My husband and I had buffet for 14.99 each. He loved it because they had menudo. Too salty and a bit spicy with some things for me. Just traveling thru.

1. Service was awesome! Waitress was sweet, fast, & always checking on us. 2. Buffet- alright, food was hot but either too salty, squishy (meat), or missing that mexican flavor. Orchata is not done w/milk just water & sugar 😞 coffee mug had food stuck in the inside 3. Whole ceiling needs to be updated 😐 4. Restrooms are big. About 8 stalls & 2 sinks (girls). Air vents REALLY need to be replaced 😨 soap is just really diluted w/water. 5. This is a "truck-stop", restaurant, mini store combo place. Cool. Will we stop again in the future? No, but hope business grows!

Good quick bite to eat. Staff was very fast and friendly. Only giving this place 3 stars due to the taste of their food. The tortilla chips for the salsa were a slight darker color most likely due to the time left to fry. They had a burnt taste that I thought I could get past but no it lingered. I order a gordita with fajita. The gordita itself had the same burnt taste. The pico, rice, and beans were great. 👍🏼

The servers have good customer service but the place wasn't that good, we order by plate and didn't try the buffet cause it didn't look very good and still the food wasn't that appealing. One of the things that got my attention was that if you ask for a cup or container to take your leftovers they will charge you .75 cents per container.

My gordita plate was so gross and not edible. It looked like a slice of fat.I just ate a little bit of the meat with chips.. The first basket of chips was so stale. I told her and she brought fresh ones. The rise had no flavor whatsoever and the beans were maybe One star. The worst was the gordita. It was just totally saturated in Greece, so the ground beef that it had in it was totally saturated as well. It was dark color with so much oil in it. My picture makes it look lighter. It’s a bus stop for a Bus company. They’re ready to take your order when you Walk in the door. That’s because they’re trying to get the people on the buses in and out. I have stopped here before through the years, but this time I won’t return again. I would watch out in the parking for the big buses that pull in and out. With all the traffic it was a little bit hard to get in and out. They pull in on the right side of the building driveway and drive around to the back to the left side of the building parking so you still can’t get away from the buses.

The food is good, but those employees are something else. They’re all over the place they couldn’t get my order right and dude all it was, was tacos bean & chz. I go back for the rest that they didn’t give and he has me at the window going in circles about what tacos i do have EXCUSE ME WHAT? I literally had to look away because why are you being difficult about some tacos that you guys didn’t give to begin with had yall had talks shit tg instead of looking like a bunch of chickens without heads.
