Opinions de Bagelette Rego Park
Great local spot for bagels. The entrance might not be that appealing, but that is immediately forgotten once you talk to the staff and get your food. The staff were so incredibly warm and patient - they offered to have us sample their different cream cheeses and took their time to answer our questions. My everything bagel with cream cheese was great - nicely toasted and plenty of cream cheese. Will definitely be back.
These are easily among the TOP 3 bagel places in NYC and you can quote me on that. It's incredibly authentic and delicious. The staff is always friendly and the service is super quick! This place reminds me of the bagels places I used to stop at before going to school. The exterior, the interior, the service and the bagels are trapped in time. It's quintessential Queens and I'm happy to be able to still eat here. Born raised and never leaving nyc I've had the pleasure of eating bagels about once a week for the last several decades. This place ranks as one of my all time favorites with some of the best service and best bagels.
Whenever I'm back in Rego Park, Queens I always make my way to Bagelette, a longtime neighborhood staple open everyday early morning to mid afternoon. Their coffee is smooth and awakening. Their bagels are freshly made on site every morning. An egg cheese sandwich is made with a freshly cracked egg and American. Muenster or Swiss. They are mighty generous with the cream cheese they dollop on your bagel. Great variety of cream cheese, including cinnamon raisin and walnut Egg salad and tuna fish, too. Salmon and tofu spread. They have hash browns and French toast on hallahah bread. Danishes and cookies. I love this place!
Best place for breakfast. A must try and have. Is a staple of my morning routine. Best lox Best cream cheese and Best fresh bagels in the area.

Authentic, consistent, the real deal NYC bagel, certified Kosher. My go-to spot. No frills, just the good stuff. Bagel always toasted just right, cream cheese is very fresh. Get yourself a toasted potato patty with a bagel. You’ll love it.
Best bagels in NYC, period! I have lived and eaten all kinds of (cheap and very expensive) in Manhattan, Brooklyn but this old school bagel place in Queens is the real deal! Talk about authentic and affordable. Best kept secret in Rego Park, Queens!
A no frills place for bagles and pastries. They make everything on site. Everyone seems to have a dusting of flour on their aprons and clothes. The bagles are amazing and i got mines still very warm fresh out of the oven. I purchased 3 dozen and they gave me freezer bags to store them when they cooled down. It's a tiny place but they seem to be busy all day with a nice flow of customers.
The best bagels ever!!! It's not close but they always have warm bagels. They are so kind going the extra step put then in bags that kept then warm all the way home😁
Small place but excellent service and quality the bagels are made the traditional way not with the new way with machines and stuff like that, the new way is killing the quality and texture of the bagel, not at bagelette. Only one inconvenience No bathroom
One of the best bagels I’ve ever tasted!
I have visited more bagel places than I can count in all of the NYC boroughs. These are the best bagels in New York City. Many people say that, but this is actually the place. The staff is great, friendly, and efficient. The place is authentic and honest. If you are reading this, eat here. As a genuine foodie, I promise you will be satisfied to say the least.
Neighborhood shop. Good bagels. Good sandwiches. Sam made an exceptional lox, cream cheeses, and varios salad platter accompanied with an assortment of bagels. Perfect for any occasion. Thanks Sam.
I love this bagel place and to me - it is a reason to live in Queens! The staff are so friendly and helpful - and I have never had a bad bagel. The bagels are DELICIOUS and the prices are reasonable. The challah is made fresh daily and it is also DELICIOUS. Usually end up coming here minimum once a week because it is irresistible!
Everyone is family there and the spot itself is papa

Bagelette is still at the top of our list for NY bagels! The bagels are just the right amount of soft and chewy and they give you a lot of spread!
This is the best bagel shop in this part of Queens, and in my opinion and easy top 10 in the Queens County, great bagels, great coffee, there is nothing else we need to survive.

Decent plain bagel but locally Forest Hills bagels has much better bagels. The everything and onion did not adhere well to the bagels, the fillings looked bare but my partner really enjoyed the Jalapeño cream cheese. Their plain bagel was more like a 4 star bagel and better than Rego bagel. Any bagel with toppings though were kinda bare and didn't have an exciting color. These are good in a pinch but I would rather walk further to Forest hills for my bagel.

Establishment use to be worth a visit. As per new ownership, it has lost much insofar as '"good" service, taste, business sense. new gentlemen commanding ownership possesses the etiquette of a gypsy pig farmer. his visually unkept daughter/employee looks like she rolled out of bed and came straight to "work". She is unaware of what the customer needs. Rent..... probably high at this location, time will surly account for new management.
Bagel place in Rego Park. I was there 10 years ago and it was very good it was on my list to try it again. Now it looks like just old place never been renovated just old and dirty. I was hoping at least food is good as it was long time ago but it was so disappointing. I order everything bagel with dill garlic and herbs cream cheese. Bagel had barely any everything and cream cheese was just watery not even staying on bagel just mess outside of it with barely any flavor

Came in here as I always do on Saturday mornings. Ordered an everything bagel as I always do. When I received my order, it was poppy seed. I brought back to counter and the short Latin guy gave me a hard time and basically called me a liar to my face insisting I said poppy. People make mistakes, but to call a customer a liar to their face is wrong. I have never ordered poppy anytime in my 60 years on this earth. I got heated and and this guy did as well. I will never return to this establishment ever again. I just bought a coop across the street and will inform everyone of my experience and the disrespect this employee served me.
This place is not a 4+ star, ugh it was so dirty inside i couldnt believe it. I walked in, saw how filthy the place is and walked right back out. There is no A/C, the customer area, door, walls were absolutely filthy. Clearly hasnt been cleaned in years. I can only imagine the food areas and back of house. I couldnt put my health on the line for a bagel. I walked right out and went to the bagel spot on 63rd and queens blvd.
Old lady in the front hates her job and needs to be fired- horrible customer service! The guys in the back are very nice. Food is below average compared to other bagel spots nearby. Dirty place inside, ceiling tiles are dirty and dilapidated.
