The crew here is always kind and quick. Good as normal delicious Taco Casa. Restrooms are clean. TV playing some basketball. Enjoyed our visit.

The chilada that i got was really good but way tooo many olives. the taco salad was really good. employees were nice and refilled our drinks. manager was a real cool guy also. Get the sweet tea. It was really good. I enjoyed it a lot and the employees were nice enough togive multiple refills. The bean burrito was also really good.

The employees are friendly here. The food comes out fast, and hot. They have always gotten our order right on take-out, even when we’ve had a large order! We rarely go inside, but when we do, the place is clean, and there are two large TV screens. One minor flaw is the size of inside dining, as there seems to be less seating than other Taco Casa Restaurants. Overall, we love this TC!

I’m a truck driver, manager sent an employee out to my truck before I could get out to ask me my order! What awesome curbside assistance.. brought me out my order shortly after. Nice and helpful staff. Clean dining area and bathrooms. And good food! As Taco Casa has grown some of the locations aren't as good as the older locations. This new location tastes like it did the first time I ate Taco Casa in the early 2000's. Great!

It’s budget Tex-Mex. It’s like the place with the bell on it, but tastes good. My number 2 fast food choice whenever I’m in TX. Cheap and delicious, portions just right. Helpful wait staff as well.

It’s Taco Casa folks. Nothing fancy, nothing special, just good tacos and burritos. For the food, this location is consistent and fast. The staff was very friendly and working expediently. The location was very clean and fresh.

First time ever eating here, and the food was fantastic. We had the Super Burrito, Chili Burgers, and the Super Nachos, and they were all very fulfilling and had plenty of toppings. Would definitely recommend it and come back again! 10/10 Fantastic Job to the Staff

If you look at my reviews, I rarely blast companies and prefer to give good ratings. This location however has a lot of struggles. The positives - It's usually clean. - The staff is nice. - The food is mostly up to the quality of what a regular TC provides. - When they mess up orders, they'll usually give Taco bucks as a salve on the wound. The negatives - They consistently get orders wrong. I've had it happens multiple times, as has my wife and mother, all on separate and unrelated instances. Items are left off, completely wrong orders are given, special substitutions aren't made. In about every way an order can go wrong, they've done it. - The tacos aren't always loaded with as much "taco stuff" as other Taco Casas do. I waffled on how many stars to give them, but they've had so many orders go wrong. Hopefully they get the training handled as this is ultimately a management and ownership issue.

Update 12/23/25 When the seems like ALL TEENS work foods always done sloppy. I pulled out the food I just order and a big spat went all over my clean pants , on my hands, in the truck, plus the burrito itself was almost folded in half !! I hadn't even took outta the paper yet. Pay attention better and please double check food before ya put in bag or give to customer . Thanks ! The guy which sorry didn't get his name was super sweet. Love their food here. I always order a combination burrito. We was here a few nights ago and the older lady, (not trying to say elder ) was so sweet and nice. We will continue to stop each time we pass through because of great super sweet ppl like them two. Keep up the great work y'all !

I love this Taco Casa so much!!! All the employees are so nice and great me every time I come in! Sometimes I come in and they’re super slammed and so the orders take a little longer to get out, but I honestly don’t mind the wait. Especially since I can drink as much sweet tea (love my refills) as I want while I wait for my yummy super nachos to be made fresh! I always have a really great experience when I go to this location versus the few others Ive been too. They are a lot more personable from start to finish!

Everything was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with smiles and made me feel right at home. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, which really added to the overall experience. And the food? So good. Taco Casa definitely knows how to deliver quality and flavor. So the story is that there were two owners of Taco Bell... but when Taco Bell was sold to pepsi the owner decided to keep his resturants and call them Taco casa! This is basically old school 1970s Early 80's Taco Bell! Real ground beef fresh ingredients and the Taste is amazing! I had the super burrito and the super Tostada both amazing! If you like Taco Bell, please give this a try it will give you something to talk about!!!

Stopped in on the way home for something quick to take on the go. The Super burrito is always my go to and as per usual the quality was great!

This Taco Casa is not much different than any other as far as food goes. But they have great iced tea and their employees are friendly and work hard to see their customers get good service.

I love taco casa but this particular one does not seem to offer what the other franchises under sale items. They also charge you an upcharge for using your credit card by 50 to 75 cents but overall it is a taco casa at least and they are good..

Food was ok, the super nachos could have been better. I didn't like how they just dumped each item on a spot,I would have liked them spread out instead, especially for the price. I had never been to a taco case, that I felt as if I paid for a traditional site down mexican food restaurant, yet was only fast food.

Well if your in the mood to eat decently cheap I have found your place... if you need a good Colin cleaning the tacos have you covered. And the employees are great. All they said was “yup” and sling some food your way.....all in all the real answer to your questing is the sweet tea .... drinkable.

Always good food. BUT, if I run this restaurant I would be worried about my food cost. I ordered 3 tacos. I only asked if they gave me hot sauce and they said it was in the bag. Seems a little excessive

Food is not the best, but it's not super expensive. Honestly their sale of bags of ice is what keeps me coming back.

Never had a problem with the food, however the services is always a bit shoddy. The young msn at the counter that served us was rather rude and had a vibe that screamed he didn't want to help us. Especially if you take in the rolled eyes when he was told to walk up front. Stick to drive thru, the young brunette/auburn haired girl has always been sweet and helpful.

I've always enjoyed the Tostada at Taco Casa. Last week when I ordered one I couldn't taste the refried beans. Turns out it was because it appeared as though the beans were scraped off leaving as little as possible, less than a sixteenth of an inch. I chalked it up to a misinformed worker. Then today I went to a different Taco Casa and the Tostada was just the same! Sixteenth of an inch of refried beans. At these prices it's not worth it. And just to add, the Taco keeps getting skimpier on the meat side, and for a dollar more than Taco Bell? Take it or leave it, this is my experience.

The young man at the window didn't want to be there and it was a little put off ish. The food was ok. The Taco lite was not a Delight. The shell seemed to have been heated in the microwave at least twice. But it was edible.

Food was great. The staff seamed a little lost and were very slow. I was in the drive through, with nobody else. Took about 8 minutes from ordering to getting my two bean burritos. This was a Saturday evening about 7:30pm.

Always good. I have no idea that this Company is the Original TacoBell from the 70's/80's. It shows! Their menu is pretty much the menu I remember from the early 80's Taco Bell's, and I am here for it. I am always happy with Taco Casa. Great simple place to get a good meal at the right price.

The people who work here are friendly , but I don’t see what the fuss is about in terms of people saying the flavor is amazing, it’s okay at best. I do like the corn tortillas having that real “corn” taste to it. It’s also very clean and has cool cactus paintings on the walls. The service is really fast however, and I think it’s cool how they have a courtesy cup that you can still put whatever in. Overall, for how high the rating is, I was expecting better flavor, but I can see how this can be a convenient and frequent neighborhood stop in Rhome.

It’s ok. Very salty seasoning.and I like salt, but this was too much. I ordered a soft drink and got a cup filled with 95% ice. Not high on my places to return. Needs improvements.

They need to work out a deal with the owner of the Saginaw Taco Casa to have the employees trained there. The food preparation at this location is unacceptable. I've never been to a Taco Casa with above average customer service so I don't expect that. I'm a huge Taco Casa fan and I've been to around 15 different locations so I hate leaving a bad review for this one. I was excited when I found out one was opening here, but at least it's not as bad as the Dairy Queen. We're back to driving to Saginaw now.

This place was great when they first opened !! Lately they have become very stingy with food. I ordered frijoles for my little one and he got less than half in that little cup. The food isn't as good as it used to be. Prices are high. Food has declined lately. Prices go up quality down. My tacos were mainly lettuce very little meat and cheese. This is only worth about a dollar at most. Step it up folks.

Very bland flavor. Probably the worst tasting food from any Taco Casa location. It’s very clean inside because it’s new. The food is still much better than Taco Bell but the meat could be seasoned better. Convenient big truck parking at the truck stop across the street. Woman at the counter was uninformed.

Got the 12 pack taco deal, 6 soft, and 6 hard. It was 20 dollars for that many tacos. Tacos like these should never be more than a dollar each. So I'm upset at the price, seems like a lot of things in the menu are expensive. If I'm spending 20 dollars at your place I should get a drink included, if not water. They wanted to charge me a quarter for a large cup of water, otherwise i could get a shot glass size of water for free. I understand people steal drinks in water cups, but when your in control of the soda fountain, i have no access to it unless i enter employee only boundaries, give a big water cup! I asked if I was able to fill my own container of water, there is no way they can do that. The food wasn't anything great, especially for the price. Majority of my tacos were lettuce and cheese, hardly any meat. Of the 12, I thought that one taco had adequate meat and proportional other ingredients. Taconomics 101: put the cheese ON THE MEAT, so it can melt, not the lettuce. One thing positive about this place, a cool, clean, comfortable environment inside. I'm really surprised how clean it was so good job there. The staff have an air of attitude like they couldn't care less. My first time here, unfortunately probably also my last unless as a last resort or they address the aforementioned issues.

So I like taco casa just as much as the next guy, the food is great, but be aware that this location in particular charges a "service fee" of like 3 or 4 percent if you're using anything other than cash. I'm not sure why the owners of this location chose to pass that particular cost of doing business to the customer but it definitely leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

But this location was a complete disappointment, realized after trying the other place and going to this one again. Have to order a meat burrito and side of beans because they can’t do things right. I love Taco Casa, once apon a time i looked into the franchise let me cut to the chase not all apples are created equal what I mean by this is this particular tacocasa here located in Rhome Texas gets a little tipsy with their burritos I was blown away even took it to the counter and said is this really the size of this burrito now.

We have gone at least once a week, usually more, over the last year and it has kinda gone downhill over that time. Especially on the weekends lately, it’s like whoever is working food prep doesn’t want to be there. Everyone is nice, food quality is sliding downhill. I hope they figure it out because we always choose Casa as our taco place, would hate if we had to change!! My wife just went through the drive through. They didn't give us everything we ordered and didn't find out till she got back home. My wife went back to get what we rightfully paid for and was treated like she was lying about it. Would never recommend this particular location as they're obviously dishonest!!!

They have missed items at least twice. We called ahead to let them know. They took down our name. When we got there, they said that our name was not on their list. They refused to honor their word. The employees are dishonest, incompetent, and lazy.

Every SINGLE TIME I've gone here they forget something I've ordered. It wouldn't be a big deal of they didn't charge for it. I knew I should have checked my bag before I drove off! Get a clue people!!!!!

Got my order wrong then I had to go inside to get what I ordered but they made me get my receipt even though I brought the wrong item to them. Then I go get the receipt and now they tell me I have to go to the car again to get my card to pay the difference in the items even though it was their mistake cuz they didn't read the order back to me. #annoyed

People nice but a 2.8 % upcharge to use a card instead of cash. Stupid policy. You only got my business because you take a card. Won't be back. I don't need my food handlers encouraging people to use cash. It's dirty and you're about to make my food. Hmmm. No I'm not ok with that.

Nasty. I ordered plain nachos, no peppers. The outside and inside of the styrofoam container had smears of red sauce (which aren't in the nachos normally), and bits of meat that my husband, yes, a guy, was grossed out. Not by the sauce, but he said if they're that sloppy with things they know the customer can see, they're more sloppy with things we can't see (like washing after using the restroom). I have to agree. It has happened more than once and I'm just disgusted. I tried calling and telling a manager "America" about the problem. She insisted on my name so she could ensure my food is fine next visit. I told her, why not fix the problem for EVERYONE and and just tell the food prep/cooks to wipe gunk off their hands between orders. She said, oh they wear gloves. You can wipe your hands while wearing gloves, duh. I gave up and told her to have a nice day. She didn't get it. So now I'll get food on the way home from work before I get to Rhome. I wish they'd go away and get a decent restaurant in that spot.

I have lived here for a long time and never have inbeen treated this badly and its almost every time. You ask why I continue to come here because there's only 3 restaurants in the city we live in. Find the state of October the 10th at 10:41 p.m. there is a gentleman it was taking drive-through orders that was the rudest person Ever. And a top. It off he hung up on me. Just wanted to let them know the owner and general manager what kind of staff he has.

I went Taco Casa today vía the drive thru window. I picked up my order and when I got home, it was missing most of what I had ordered. I had to dive all the way back to Rhome from Newark, TX and when I arrived, I was asked what the problem was from a very rude lady working there. I explained to her the order was wrong and she replied, “Well, you drive off without the complete order!” I told her that the lady working the drive they gave me the sack and told me to have a good day. This lady was making it sound as if it was all my fault. I asked her who her manger was and she said, she is right there. The manager never did come over to talk to me or anything, she just told the lady that we needed to have a mask on. They were very rude and never did try to accommodate me as a paying customer, no I’m sorry or anything.

Mr Bill read needs to do something about his terrible night management ,some young uncaring female. We didn't receive all of our order and did not realize it until we got home 10 minutes away and she refused to make our order right I will never go back there food is not like other Taco Casa my tacos were mostly lettuce was a little cheese and a little meat

This place is horrible!!!! If you want a Taco Casa go to the one In Decatur! Waited for 20 minutes to get my order and it was wrong!!!! It was carry out didn't know til I got home! I will not be going back there and I'll make sure all my friends don't either!!!!

I went to the drive through. I was told to wait a couple of minutes. After 5 minutes, I asked if they are there. No answer, so I left with nothing. This was around 530 on a Saturday. Doubt I'll do that again.

Hate to post this, since this is not usually my experience, but tonight they were so skimpy with the food that other guest were even commenting. When I brought to their attention that I was eating a dough burrito, Scarlett the ‘manager’ became immediately hostile. I even had another customer comment on how rude the employee was…..

I made a simple request to have the meat and cheese for my taco's on the side. This was to ensure they didn't get soggy on the drive home. I was told by the staff that it was a corporate policy that they could only put the cheese on the side. As expected, the taco's fell apart when I tried to eat them once I returned home. Many other stores have accommodated this request and the policy seems bizarre at this location.

Highly disappointed we Just went through drive through and manger was so rude because we were trying to find a way to feed 10 PEOPLE soft tacos . Not only was he not helpful but he was rude and very snappy. He didn't even try to make things easy this place was so great at first but now they are raising their prices and not helpful for a big family to be able to eat their .will not try again . Every time we go there , the order never gets right. Ask for peppers- don't get them. Super burrito - no olives. There's olives. Nachos are supposed to come with cheese. Great that the container is there but with a few squirts in there. I've given plenty of chances... Going to start taking my business to Haslet. They just can't get their act together and never have in the 6 years I've given them my money.

I would give zero stars but I don't have that option. I went through the drive thru yesterday. There was a really sweet guy working the drive through that I could tell was extremely ill and coughing all over everything. I pray that the poor guy doesn't come back till he is well. They never have orders ready on time when they are paid for in advance to be ready at a certain time. My order wasn't started until I got there at my pick up time. Horrible service and attitude. Door dash drivers have the same problems with this place.

Went thur drive thur after I got of work. Ordered a nachos supreme and taco supreme and a guacamole. Didn't think of checking my bag but I got home (Azle) only to find out. I was missing my chips for gucamole, my chip for nachos plus the cheese. Then I called to complain and I get a machine to leave a message. Paid $20.50 for nothing. I am so furious. My husband ordered me a taco salad tried to call and speak with a mngr felt she was debating me on what I had size wise due to her (yeria) being the one who made it. She said she was the one who made it and she knows she made it correct and the order was made right. She said this taco salad is full to the top with lettuce and a small scoop of meat and beans but I was trying to advise there was no “small scoop” of either in my meal but yet she kept insisting that it was and she made it so it was right. I was told only way the meal would be fixed is if I brought it back and I advised her I was now 25 min away. So instead of making a customer satisfied I was basically told she was right and I was wrong. This is the first time I have ever felt like a number and not a customer to them. This Mngr was very disappointing and to not understand a customer and assist with making it right even at a later time or when I’m back home was very shocking. Guess since she made the order there was no way what I was seeing was wrong or the size was incorrect. I def advised the size was possibly like a small spoon and not a small scoop cause all I was eating was chip and lettuce not even cheese. Would attach photos and video I have but I could not find where to attach it. Plus seeing previous reviews I’m not the only person who is complaining about the same issue I have just experienced with the same place

I normally never have an issue at this location but tonight is a different story. I came around 8pm and most the employees were already doing end of shift cleaning. Mind you they close at 10. So service was slower and the lines were long. Both inside and drive through. I ordered the soft tacos with no lettuce. That’s all I wanted off. And yet they still put lettuce on it. Extremely disappointed because I love the soft tacos. If the employees would focus on the customers instead of trying to clean two hours before closing maybe they could do their jobs more effectively.

I ordered a burrito, and it barely had any beans in it and I didn’t even ask for less! When I politely pointed it out, the staff acted like I was the one being difficult. All I wanted was a regular burrito, not a tortilla stuffed with attitude and air. If you mess up the food and then complain about the customer… that says everything.

The only reason I am giving this review is because of the reaction of the manager. I purchased a Super Taco Salad. I was excited to try it, and when i dug in, I was literally saying, "Where's The Beef?"" I dumped the salad on the plate. There was barely a tablespoon of beef. I had to find it. When I showed it to the manager Matt, he didn't even address me. He nudged the employee to drop one more tablespoon. He didn't even acknowledge me or apologize. It's sad, but their customer service Sucks!!!! Oh, and their buns are soggy, and I am not talking about the managers' bun... the hamburger buns

9.14.23 Update... I came in today and I haven't been here in a while, ordered some food and both my tacos have almost no meat. Forget this damn place, You want real good food? Go to the one in Gainesville. This must be the worst one. Never had an issue with the food, it's usually just fine. Charging an extra fee for using a credit card is kind of ridiculous in today's times. I accept credit cards for my clients but that's just the cost of doing business and I don't charge anything extra to my clients for using them. As far as the dining room goes it sure could use a little duct and ceiling fan cleaning. When the dust and crud is crawling out of the vents and off of the fan blades it's a little gross.
