Opinions de Papa John's Ridgecrest
Pizza was fast, 10 min. and delicious 😋 Friendly staff
I have been a Papa John's fan since I lived in New Mexico. So it has always been good. So, 30 plus years. And still enjoying the product
I went by this place last Tuesday and couldn't have been happier with my service. The employee (presumably the manager) was quick to stop what he was doing and came to help me. He also managed to save me money on my order when he didn't have to which tells me that they care about the customer. The store was very clean. As an ex-PapaJohn manager I would rate the pizzas 9/10. If I find myself in the area again, I will definitely be stopping by here. Great staff, great food, great price, great experience!
When I don't have time to cook a delicious meal for my family, Papa John's is my best alternative. I have enjoyed several of their specialty pizza's but I usually order The Works, thin crust, hold the mushrooms. My family likes the flavors, and it is filling. We generally order on-line and pick our order up ourselves. We live fairly close, the pizza has always been ready when we arrive and still hot by time we get back home. I especially like earning and using Papa John's Rewards.
Been here twice so far. The pizza is always good and the workers are always nice. What separates them from other pizza places is that they actually put a decent amount of sauce on the pizza. I never have to order my pizza with extra sauce like I do with other places.
I had an awesome experience at Papa John’s thanks to Mace! From the moment I walked in, he had a genuine smile on his face and a great attitude. He went out of his way to make sure I got the best deals possible and really took the time to help me save money. You can tell he truly cares about customer service and making sure people leave happy. It’s rare to see that kind of effort and positivity these days, and it definitely made my visit better. Give Mace the recognition he deserves, he’s doing an amazing job!

I got just a pepperoni pizza. It was pretty tasty. However, the best thing is that it was on sale for $10! The price made the pizza that much better. If they don't have the pizza on sale, though. I'd stick with a different pizza place like dominoes.
For my money in the top two of pizza delivery places price wise fantastic pizzas always fantastic the delivery drivers are always kind courteous and understanding I live in a rural area and to have them deliver out here and always use the side gate it means a lot

The pizza is good. If you use online coupons the price is worth it. Recommend ordering ahead and online. Would have given better rating but had issues with my order and had to wait longer than normal.
So disappointed in the service I received. I have worked for this company and know what corporate expects. I wanted to order via the app, it wouldn't accept the local bargain card. I called to ask for clarification ( if it was honored on line)upon calling, No human voice answering the phone, I was put on hold immediately, the reception was awful and the recording could barely be heard. I drove to the shop, when I let the owner know I had been on hold for 18 minutes and what I was listening to the whole time, she didn't care. I understand many orders may come from online and the app, the store had employees walking around that could have taken an order or let a customer know that someone would be right with them. I was informed the wait time would be an hour when I began to order. After trying to order for 45 minutes between the app and the phone, I took my business elsewhere.
If you're visiting somebody on base and decide to order pizza from Papa Johns, be prepared to double the amount of time they say your order will be delivered because they only have 1 delivery driver that can deliver on base. Also do not have expectations that your pizza will arrive hot. The pizza tasted as if it was prepared within the right amount of time but then it sits under a heat lamp until it is finally ready for delivery over an hour later. Also be prepared to pay premium price just for a pepperoni pizza because there's really no other choice for delivery after 7pm.
Our pizza was delivered late, which was absolutely fine. When the delivery person arrived, they told us that there would be a free pizza on our account. Two days later, we called to redeem the free pizza we were offered by their employee, only to be told by a rude manager that there was simply no free pizza on our account, because it was taken away by the store manager. A lack of communication, along with the attitude toward us, makes me not want to order from this place in the future, which is a shame, as I'm fond of the way Papa Johns makes their pizza.
I’ve given this Papa John’s a few chances over the past year, and unfortunately, it’s been mostly disappointing. The pizza isn’t terrible—it’s edible and sometimes hits the spot if you’re really craving it—but the service and consistency are where things fall apart. Last time I ordered, it took over 90 minutes for a basic pizza and breadsticks to arrive, and when it finally did, everything was lukewarm. The crust was hard on the edges and undercooked in the middle, and the toppings were carelessly thrown on. The breadsticks were dry and came with no dipping sauce, even though I paid for one. It’s not the first time something was missing from my order either. When I called to ask about the delay and the missing item, the staff wasn’t rude, but they also didn’t seem interested in helping. No apology, no offer to fix it—just kind of brushed it off. I will say that I’ve had one or two decent experiences in the past, which is why this is getting two stars instead of one. But between the delivery delays, inconsistent food quality, and customer service that feels like an afterthought, it’s hard to recommend. If you’re desperate for pizza, maybe… but there are definitely better spots in Ridgecrest.

Had a Papadias that was delicious. Went back two days later, yesterday, around 12 (not sure who the three workers were) & ordered two more for my daughter and I. This time they weren’t made w/ the flatbread; Instead they looked exactly like regular pizzas folded. Took pictures of them & will go speak with the manager.
Found the biggest cockroach leg in my pizza! The cooks were playing with it, and went right back to cooking without washing there hands 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Called for delivery, then the person that answered had no idea what I was ordering and said he had to get a manager. After 10 minutes of waiting (hearing background orders the whole time) was hung up on with no manager interaction. Called back and finally got ahold of the manager. Told them what my issue was then told since my order had to be redone it would be over a hour and a half wait. Then instantly hung up on. How is this service?
Ordered hand tossed pepperoni. It was delivered cold. Old looking. Very thin crust. So I called and they sent another one. I specifically said no thin crust. It was delivered even thinner. Both had barely cheese. Pizzas were so hard . It was thinner than cardboard. So they're refunding first pizza. I never had a problem with that before but I'll never order from them again.. They've been going down hill on their service this past year. Even little Cesar's have gone down hill.
I recently placed an online order for a pizza from Papa John's in Ridgecrest. The estimated completion time was 12 minutes, which was convenient. However, upon receiving the notification that my order was ready and driving to the store, I was met with an unexpected and frustrating situation. Despite the confirmation that my pizza was ready, it turned out that they hadn't even started making it. This led to an additional 50-minute wait, which was completely unacceptable. I'm not sure what caused this error, but it raises concerns about the accuracy of their online ordering system and overall efficiency. While the pizza itself was decent, the excessive wait time significantly impacted my experience. I hope that Papa John's addresses this issue to ensure that customers receive their orders in a timely manner and avoid similar situations in the future.
Hi so first I just wanted to say I’m a first responder and I was working yesterday , myself and the crew went into Papa John’s to order pizza towards the end of the night after running calls and helping people all day. We have never been so mistreated in our lives. This worker that had the short hair she was so snotty and rude and obviously did not want to be. I can not stand entitled brats, I feel you’re being paid to do a job and represent a company you do it in a professional manner. You don’t have to like the people who come in, but you still show them respect. This was on. 7-8-23 just in case you wanted to look in on this person it was 10 o’clock this girl needs to find a different job or learn how to communicate with customers, she was completely rude and made our pizzas so horribly we did not even end up eating them. I’m also a business owner in the small town of Ridgecrest I have multiple businesses here and would be so upset if I learned that one of my employees treated a customer Like this. So just so you know I will never step foot in that place again and I will let everyone I know what happened not just in town but on social media, and pray that they don’t go there either. Train your employees better or get better management.
I order a large pizza with extra pepperoni. I get home and the pizza is half cheese and pepperoni. There were 8 pieces of pepperoni. How does one make that mistake? Incompetence is the answer. This place is, in my opinion, is ripping people off by using very little ingredients on their pizzas. No more papa John for me.
Won't do tv specials at local Ridgecrest restaurant. Will simply go somewhere else.
