As the name implies... Very cozy. Had a few drinks with a friend on a rainy Saturday afternoon and couldn't have asked for a better setting. Staff was kind and the place was quiet enough for a normal conversation.

Diamond in the rough! Located on a tertiary street off the main shopping strip, this place has a minimalist menu that works! Great food and tasty signature drinks, friendly staff.

Sabrina was a really nice and attentive bartender! Mixed drinks are top notch and the beer selection is amazing. Huge outdoor and indoor seating and follows guidelines for covid-19 very well. Definitely a top contender for that new favorite spot youre lookin for.

I recently had my son's first communion celebration in the outdoor section of Cozy Corner. The staff was very accommodating, helped me set up and decorate and just overall kind. During this pandemic, it is hard to find a space that can fulfill your needs and simultaneously keep you and your guests safe, but Cozy Corner did just that. The tables were six feet apart, the space was very clean, and Anna came out to us every now and then to see if we needed anything from inside. I would highly recommend Cozy Corner to anyone looking to reserve a space for a celebration and to anyone who is just looking to dine at a place that follows pandemic safety guidelines. I will definitely be taking my family back in the near future!

A neighborhood institution. Ridgewood needs places like this, people. The kitchen is open late. Free pizza with almost every drink! There’s a lot to love about this spot. It is the stuff of legend. Oh, and there’s a pool table and a digital jukebox if you’re into that.

Beer selection on tap was extensive, and the staff was super friendly. Pizza was amazing--definitely get it. Atmosphere was relaxed and really enjoyable. Will be going again.

Cozy Corner is a warm and cute bar that can accommodate larger groups. It has a delicious cocktail and food menu. There is a pool table, Anna the bartender is very friendly and nice. Has a digital juke box.

I really love this bar. It’s a great neighborhood spot and you get a free 10” pizza when you get a $6 drink. The place recently changed hands and it’s so much better now.

This is one of the best bars in Ridgewood! Food, drinks, and service are always on point. They have tons of outdoor space that’s well heated during the winter. We held my daughter's co-ed baby shower here a Sunday afternoon in May. It was supposed to be outdoors, but due to a rainstorm we moved it inside. The staff could not have been more helpful or kind! They allowed us to put up cheesy decorations and helped us set up with a cake we brought in. The drinks and bar food was enjoyed by all, and when the owner arrived during the festivities, he gave us all a free round of drinks. Imagine that!!! We must have been around 25 people. We had a great time and truly appreciated the generosity and ambience. Do yourselves a favor and go to Cosy Corner!

Get a slice of pizza with first pint. Decent basic slice, well cooked, good dough. Burger was very good, be nice to get fries or chips with it for $12. Wings flavorful however sauced then finished it seems so they came dry. I prefer them tossed in sauce at the end so they zap your nose when dropped off and get your fingers messy. Beers were cold and fresh.

The Cozy Corner posse will become family. I promise. The coolest thing about this place is it has an atmosphere to include everyone in the neighborhood.. from long time locals to the new hip kids. Zef (owner) did some beautiful restoration on this historic neighborhood staple, as well as added an impressive outdoor space since this pandemic froze all of our lives in place. Worth noting that I am extremely careful myself about keeping healthy and feel comfortable taking a seat in the open air table seating. Big love to Anna for always (always!) being super chill with every person that comes through the door. And thank you to Kaleb for knocking our socks off and keeping the music selection excellent. Went here to hangout with some friends, place is really chill. Nobody bothers you and I ate countless mini pizzas lol. Service was good, nothing to complain about, go here if you want to play pool and have a nice chill time

The Cozy Corner accommodated a last minute ask to host our 3 year old’s birthday party when the forecast was calling for rain. They were so flexible, open, and easy to work with! The kids had a great time eating pizza, listening to the jukebox, and running around (though we tried to limit that!). And we think the parents also had a great time with the open bar! Thank you to Jelka, Evelyn, Zef, and the chef for making her 3rd birthday so memorable! Highly recommend supporting this local business!

Went this past weekend and had a great time. The nachos are amazing, 10/10 will come back for those alone. Also very cool vibes, we sat in the back corner which has old movie theater chairs!

I had a really nice experience here! I am celiac and the staff was very helpful about telling me what I could eat and what I couldn’t. They informed me most of their menu can be done gluten free as they have gluten free bread. We had excellent service and the atmosphere was exactly as the title says- like I was in a cosy corner! I walked in here on a cold February day to escape the elements and continue a first date I was on. We were met with incredibly kind service, great drinks, and phenomenal wings. We sat for hours talking and when I needed to make a move and play a song, the bar tender was kind enough to let me play it. A year and a half later, my now fiancé and I poetically walked in for our engagement party where we were again greeted by an incredibly accommodating manager, friendly and generous owner, and and overall lovely neighborhood experience. I will be coming to this homey bar on the corner for as long as they exist. They are now an integral part of my story and they helped make dreams a reality. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a place to relax, drink, watch a game, play pool or hold a life changing event. If not for the good drinks and environment, do it for the incredible staff that makes you feel like you can finally just relax in Cozy Corner

Love their pizza, not too thick, not too thin & not overly cheesy. Fries are good also. To drink they have mostly beers, but also sodas. I had a margarita, was a bit weak but not bad.

This is a comfortable and welcoming neighborhood institution. It reminded my father and I of his stomping grounds back in Winona. We came here on Christmas and I’ve since I’ve come back to enjoy their superior Whiskey selection. Anna is an excellent host and made us feel very much at home. The Kitchen is open late and everything made with love. Thank God for this place. I see many of my neighbors here. Truly a Cozy community Cornerstone.

This place is truly cozy. The "usual crowd" are all very nice people. The owner and his wife are amazing!!! Having parties here are great. They set everything up so nice for us and gave us a great deal!! I would definitely recommend having your next party here!!! Had a great time. And they have a pool table.

Brunch is bananas here. Great food and a great atmosphere. They just started doing brunch again and the wait was well worth it. So far I've had the bacon carbonara, eggs Benedict, the tricolore pie, and they are all absolutely delicious!!! However, the rockstar of the brunch are the AMAZING FLUFFY PANCAKES!!! Let me break it down... Whether it's brunch or dinner, the Bacon carbonara is a bang on pasta dish. They do something a little different than a regular carbonara, they use asparagus instead of peas, and it's topped with an egg yolk, which makes all the difference in the world. Not only interactive, but also makes the dish taste really fresh, but really brightens up every time you break the yolk. $18 What makes the difference in taste for the Eggs Benedict, is they use sourdough toast for the base and the Hollandaise sauce is their own delicious blend of ingredients. Whatever it is, it's and mouth full of joy with every bite. $16 The Tricolor pie, has a great combination of ingredients that make this pizza, not only filling, but the delicate flavor will make the taste buds sing with joy. The prosciutto is perfectly cured, the tomatoes are super thinly sliced and the arugula is the perfect amount of peppery flavor that creates a full bodied finish. You can get the 13' for brunch at $16. If you want it for dinner or a larger party they also make the 18' But the Fluffy pancakes though!!! You can either have these detectible cakes as a dessert for the table at brunch or you can have them for yourself. Either way these pancakes are so light and fluffy, they giggle when they are sat down on the table. I'm not sure what this piece of heaven is made of, but they are "Crazy in love" delicious!!! They come with some tossed blueberries and strawberry sliver and maple syrup. It may look light and delicate...because they are, however the flavor they pack is mighty!!! All in all, the new brunch menu at Cozy Corner, is top notch, and I will be going back for more!!!

Cozy Corner is a wonderful bar in Ridgewood. Great cocktails and beer. Really good bar food and a very generous free personal pizza with most cocktails. Yes, FREE. The owners and staff are awesome people, Shout out to Anna, a fantastic bartender and lovely human. You can tell a lot of time, money, love and effort has gone into restoring the bar. A great space for a chat and drink with a friend or hold a party. They have two bars within one. Well worth your time to check out this local treasure and make some new friends. Stopped by here last night to get a late night bite and in addition to the free pizza the chicken tenders were nice and crispy. What's really cool is that the bar has been around since the start of the 20th century. Nice to see a joint from old NY still in the game. The original crown molding is one of the best features.

Great Dive Bar, cheap drinks, hot food cooked on Tuesdays by Nancy. Pool table in the back. Mixed younger crowd closer to the weekend. Jukebox selection is excellent. Definitely a Cozy Corner Dive bar, dark interior, old world charm, friendly staff.

The bar is good if your fan of New York teams you get that straight NYC feel. Because of covid going to bars is little bit different my first time here very chill was able to watch the game get a free slice of 🍕 when you order your first drink and then after that you have to pay for the food of course.

It is a cozy place to hangout. Over priced on the drinks for sure though. Would be 5 stars if the drinks weren't so expensive. I've seen better pricing in Manhattan but I suppose there's a mission to change what Ridgewood use to be

Updated my old review to say the pizza was medicore but as the owner commented the place has been remodeled, since my first review. There is plenty of space and much more on tap. ‐------- A nice bar, beers are appropriately priced for the neighborhood, pizza is bland though, I left half the pie there didn't even bother to take it with me but I'll try it again.

Needed a day to myself and stopped at this place for a quick bite and drink after a day at the spa. The staff there were super nice and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and satisfied with my order. If you’re looking for a quick stop to get tasty pizza.. this is it.

I've been here a few times before and it was nice. The food is good, the owner's a sweetheart, but the bartenders weren't very attentive. Even though it wasn't that busy each time I went. I decided to go back again to watch the game with some friends, and was pleasantly surprised. They have a new bartender, Eliza (not sure how to spell it). And she is an absolute DOLL. Such a sweetheart, and was able to keep up with the crowd and make some pretty damn good drinks. I think I'll definitely be going back during her shifts. 🤷‍♀️

Cozy Corner has always been one of my favourite spots in the neighbourhood. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the cleanliness of the place really stands out—credit to the owner, who clearly takes great pride in maintaining the space. One of the main reasons I fell in love with Cozy Corner is their amazing hand-cut fries and chicken wings. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed some inconsistencies in the quality lately. They’ve started serving frozen fries instead of the hand-cut ones, and the wings’ flavor has changed—sadly, it’s a noticeable downgrade. Despite these hiccups, I still love Cozy Corner for its vibe and the care the owner puts into the establishment. If they can bring back the hand-cut fries and restore the wings to their former glory, this place would be absolutely unbeatable. Fingers crossed for those upgrades because I’d love to see Cozy Corner return to its full potential!

Had brunch plans with my girls on a Saturday back in August. Our plans got changed and we decided to revamp and stopped @ Cozy Corner. Neither of us, was very hungry or had been to CC previously. We decided to keep it simple and order what I affectionally call “kids meal items”. We each got chicken tenders and fires to share. The derive was good and the space seems cool. I will definitely return for the bar vibes and games. Just A Note: They offer a free slice of pizza with every drink purchase of $7 and more.

Food was good, but I feel service can improve, and it was weird when they just charge me without being able to see the check...if they don't offer table service maybe it would work the self-ordering option with the QRcode so you can order and pay from the table...

We wanted to write a positive review, but unfortunately, our expectations were not met whatsoever. It seems like the owners of this establishment have made irrational rules to try to win one over on their customers spending good money. After spending nearly $50 on food and then another $50 of drinks, husband asked for KETCHUP, and was told it would be a charge!!! For frickin ketchup?? This might not seem like a lot, but when you go order a $15 burger, don’t you expect ketchup? This alone was actually enough for us to see that the whole staff disagrees and the owners have a distorted mentality on what good service is. The server and bartender were absolutely wonderful but should not have had to be on the other end of confusing customers asking for something as simple as ketchup. We are long time bartenders and neighborhoodies, not bougie transplants…. Kinda sad. Won’t be back.

We’ve been to Cozy corner many times, especially during covid, we love it bc pizza, outside vibe is always on point! but this girl working on Wed, Sabina does not know how to make drinks, takes forever and gave me my boyfriend attitude last night when we ordered. But on the plus side the Margarita pizza really is the best in the neighborhood.

Waited for more than half an hour to get seated yesterday. First time to eat at this restaurant at Cold Spring, NY. Salmon burger is very good but the fries are soggy and mushy. The catch of the day fish - cod didn’t taste fresh at all. The salad veggies with strawberries and blueberries kinda wilted.

I had to at least give it 1 star because outdoor set up is great. However the food & service is terrible. Burger came out cold & no fries for $14. In all fairness the menu does say burger comes with chips & that wasn’t even put out on table. Waiter was rude & kept walking away when you try to ask him a question. Get it together!!

There was hair in my food and the servers were disrespectful. Do yourself and favor and don't come to this place.

Just to note - I've been living locally for a decade and have been to this bar probably 80-100 times, just because its very near by. Nothing to write home about but a solid spot I would tell friends to meet at - until this Saturday night: I had a friend drive over 45 minutes to meet me there later on in the night. He's been to the bar many times himself too. He texted me, very upset before I got there - because a worker in a cozy corner shirt saw him walking up to the bar and got in his face and asked him "for his workout routine" and continued to pester and bully him, following him into the bar. My friend is a much larger man so this was clearly just an attempt to belittle him, fat shame him and hurt his feelings for literally no reason whatsoever- and congrats! You did it Big Man! This was completely umprompted. My friend did not say a word to this guy and was alone and respectful. He ended up just wanting to go home and left before I could even leave to get there. I was really angry about this happening to him for no reason (he's an absolute kind and gentle guy) so I called the bar and was put on to the manager Zef. Although he offered to have us come in and have a beer on him (why, so that guy can laugh at him again??) - he didn't seem to interested in finding out who said this to my friend or why. He mentioned he is not wearing a cozy corner shirt so it wasn't him - but he had 4 guys working. I think he was somewhat trying to be helpful and remedy it - but more so to get it over with. I understand he's not involved personally - but these are his employees who represent him. I'm not coming in for that drink - and after a decade of coming here I won't anymore - we'll just meet at Myrtle Pub of Flying Fox of Ginnys all of which have better beer and kinder staff. P.S. ya'll have the worst Guinness pour in all of BK and Queens (coming from a native Irishman) and I still used to come and drink it anyway just to hang out here!

07/30/23: unwelcoming unprofessional. Wasted your money on billboards. Do better. Was not cozy at all. No sense of urgency. Unfriendly service. Not a busy Sunday but still waited 2 pool games worth before I was even acknowledged. Wanted to purchase a glass a of wine with pizza but the older lady or "hostess" couldn't wait to turn down work. Hung out by the bar to chit chat. Do better @ MNGMT. Pull the weeds from your lawn then promote better service. Me and all my homies hate C.C. Went to the nearest pizzeria and my day was made. Do better.

The female Bartender is the absolute worst! Served 5 different patrons before me, eventhough i was politely standing in front of her with my girlfriend. After the 5th guest, I simply asked her if there was any particular order to serving guests, because i was here before the other guests and she responds by rudely saying oh you want to complain and then turns her back on me and serves another guest. After that, I left. Obviously, that will be my first and last time there. I'm a general manager for Serafina group and if any of my staff treated any of my guests like that, they would be written up.

I visited the place many times and never had a problem but after my recent visit with my 4yer old niece I was very disappointed . She noticed the piano in the middle of the room and tried it. Right away I was approached by the staff with bad attitude and told that this is expensive equipment and should not be used?? 🤷‍♂️ I wish they posted no kids allowed at the door so kids would not deal with the staff. Very disappointed…

This all-too-historical bar in Ridgewood had my girlfriend and I deeply frightened by the menacing glares from staff and patrons that screamed Sundown Town... just to pick up a pizza that we then felt too disgusted to eat. This establishment is the shameful reason we may need the Green Book again. Don't fall for their billboard ad.

I was there on the night of September 13, the service is not friendly at all, the girl who was there that day did not bother to assist us and offered us the bar options. She seemed to mind being asked. Draft beer is $8 and comes with a personal pizza. Honestly, they shouldn't offer pizza because only a piece of dough with tomato sauce and the cheese is very scarce, you can see it in the photo; It is preferable to pay for pizza and for it to be of better quality. The facilities are nice but the staff is not.
