Very good place for any vegan or vegetarian. Not only does the food look good but tastes good too. Hot and spicy soup was excellent. The service is also very nice and welcoming and the prices are reasonable.

I wish I had a vegetarian restaurant near me like this one, I moved to another state but whenever in Queens, I stop by. The mango chicken is awesome and the chicken nuggets, well, just perfect to me. Yummy!

Holy smokes this place was so perfect for a chinese takeout night-in. We called the restaurant directly and not only was the service friendly and to the point, but the food arrived early and at the perfect temperature! The flavors of the sauces were spot on and the "chicken" nuggets were better than any real chicken nugget I've ever had. Looking forward to supporting this local business again and again!

Great vegan food - very different to the other Chinatown vegan places. They do americanized Chinese food but vegan. They do it very well. I've only ordered takeout/delivery but we've tried a number of things on the menu and they've all been very good!

Cocolin has been my favorite vegan restaurant in NYC at this point. The food is delicious and the staff is always so warm and caring. I would definitely recommend the General Tso’s lunch special or if you’re feeling ‘meaty’ the black pepper seitan. I love you CoCo Lin!

Perfect Chinese place that's Vegan-friendly and not extremely greasy! Yes, you read it right, not overly greasy. I had the Chicken Curry, which was a delicious soy chicken, with Fried Wontons that was crispy and not soaking. Also the Broccoli on my plate was not overly cooked, fresh and crispy. Also the Curry had a nice fluffy consistency. Instead of the usual Fortune Cookie, they end your meal with Grapefruit, which was a perfect end on your palette! Unfortunately this area is not so Veggie friendly and it's right next to a cliche Chinese Food joint, so I'm weary if it'll last. It's a healthy option for sure, but probably one of the most delicious Chinese food I've ever been at, Vegan or not. I highly recommend!

So I have FINALLY found a Chinese Restaurant that is completely VEGAN friendly! I tried it for the first time this evening and from just the pictures online and walking in and speaking with Jeny at the counter, I could already tell that I would love it. Jeny was very personable and friendly! I was happy to learn that she is a vegan as well. She had lots of takeout orders but still had a nice conversation with me while working and let me taste their duck sauce which is HOME MADE and seasoned with chili flakes I believe. And WOW, was that good. I made sure to have a takeout cup of that with my meal. I had my usual order I used to get which was "Fried Bean Curd (Tofu) with Mixed Vegetables in Garlic Sauce with white rice". I could barely wait to get home to dig in and I was not disappointed. It is GREAT CHINESE food PERIOD but it would've fooled me. It tasted exactly the way any other non-vegan friendly Chinese food tastes. This is deff at least a travel on the bus or subway from me but it's worth it. I will only be ordering my Chinese from here from now on! They offer all your normal Chinese takeout favorites WITHOUT the chicken broth and oyster sauce that unfortunately so many other Chinese places unfortunately add and lose the service of those of us who don't eat animal products. I was happy to see them offer Vegetable Tempura which many Japanese places will add egg (some don't) and they also offer those tasty crisp nuggets and more portion than the one I'm used to ordering from in Crown Heights (I won't say the name). They don't skimp and I am comfortably full. For $9.80 I can't complain! I have been charged as much as $15 just for one meal at other vegan spots. At lunch (12-4pm) they offer their food for $6.95 which is a deal you just can't beat. This is hands down the BEST VEGAN CHINESE restaurant in NYC! Go here, you won't be disappointed. :) 5/5

I made this my two-time a week place to go. A peaceful atmosphere, very caring service and the food is exceptional. Try the veggie dumplings and the basil chicken with ginger slices, you won't be sorry. Clean food with a pleasant experience. Great place!

Absolutely amazing food , i ordered the chicken nugget and a seaweed soup and was blown away with my food i will be back many times more. The atmosphere was simple theres metered parking outside and its central located i loved it. Grab some food not pretentious just great flavors.

Love this place. Plenty of vegan and gf options. My personal favorites are the chicken sandwich and lo mein. The ice cream tastes like the real deal. Big portions and the best staff. Not a big fan of the summer rolls, too much noodles not enough veggies.

The best vegan restaurant in queens! It has all of my favorites and more. You will not miss meat, since there are a variety of delicious options! My favorites are the chicken nuggets, all of the thai curries, roast pork pad kee mao, wonton soup and thai basil fried rice. Also the seitan is bomb. Everything I ordered thus far taste amazing and I would encourage you to try everything.

I've lived in the area a long time. For all those years I said hmmm maybe I should order from here. It's been open forever it can't stay open and not be good. Well I was right.im kicking myself for not ordering earlier. I ordered general tso chicken and curry beef. DELICIOUS. I look forward nto making up for lost time. I saw so many different bites I could order. One final note this might be the fastest delivery time I have ever seen. Fast= hot. It adds to how good everything is. The delivery guy is super nice as well. 10/10 thanks for a great meal!

EXTREMLY EFFICIENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, tasty food ( I recommend the chicken with rice and broccolis, it tastes so much like real chicken), the lady in the front, who is always working, is super sweet! Also, delivery is so fast, I never had any issues. I always devoure their food in seconds, no time for pictures.

I recently went vegan and missed Chinese food. This place was so delicious and fresh! The fried wontons were perfect, I made my sister (who is not vegan) try one and she couldn't believe it when I told her it wasn't beef lol. The people there were very nice 😊

To begin, a million thanks to Jenny!!! Her hospitality knows no bounds. 🖤We went to Vegetarian House on an impromptu lunch date in October and they did not disappoint. Delicious food. Reasonable prices. EXCELLENT customer service from Jenny. 💚 She even knows customers by name!!!! It’s not often that we experience the “small town “ hospitality that I love, since living in this city. Jenny made us feel like family AND the food was actually great! Super excited to visit again soon! 🥰

I'm fond of this restaurant! It's become a regular spot for me, with my usual bi-weekly visits. The cuisine is truly delightful – so exquisite that it might make you wonder if it's vegan (a little inside joke). Almost everything on their menu is vegan, except for bubble tea, which is the sole exception. My cherished selections include sesame chicken, chicken and broccoli, fried rice, and masaman curry. Whether you embrace a vegan lifestyle, I strongly recommend trying it. You're bound to be captivated!

This place is a real gem! The salt and pepper king oyster mushrooms were out of this world! I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. The staff was very friendly even though we ordered right before closing, they easily accommodated my food allergy, and the food was absolutely incredible.

The employees are very nice, the food is always made fresh and promptly, even when I ask for alterations to the menu items. The food is amazing. The food is so delicious you won't even realize it is vegetarian. I strongly recommend this place to non-vegetarians. There food is good enough to make them come back for more! Try the banana chicken rolls, thank me later.

Affordable prices, friendly services, and yummy vegan/vegetarian food! I had the spicy fried tofu with rice and vegetables which was delicious, father had the chick'n and fried rice, and aunt had the soy shrimp. I didn't much like the texture or taste of the soy shrimp, kind of rubbery but according to my aunt who isn't a vegetarian, it does taste like shrimp and she enjoyed it. Also fresh fruit juices! My favorites from here are the vegetable dumplings and the wonton soup (A+++)!

The lady who runs the place is so nice and the food is delicious. Really great meatless dishes. Love the dumplings fried or steamed and also as everyone else the general taos chicken. I love the cashews they put on top. Good choice for vegan food.

I ordered schellion pancakes and orange chicken. Well seasoned, sauce sweet and light. I was very surprised that the pancakes weren’t GREASY!! Enjoyed my dinner. I will definitely ordered from this place again.

They season this food crazy good. Got roasted duck, wonton soup, peking duck, sweet and sour chicken. I don’t even care for regular chinese take out, and dislike how oily and salty it can be sometimes— But they do it right. I have had some tragic vegetarian chinese dining experiences in Chinatown that take advantage of the prime location. Overpriced and flavorless. This is exactly the opposite. I have had meat eater friends enjoy the dishes just fine. Kudos to CoCo Lin.

Good vegan chinese food. Stick with basics like scallion pancake and general tso’s if you’re on the pickier side or try it all 🙂

We’ve been ordering Coco Lin delivery for years now. There are so many delicious options. Our favorites are the chicken nuggets, mango chicken, pad thai, curry rolls, Sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour spare ribs, and pork lo mein. Sometimes delivery can take a really long time to come but it’s always piping hot and worth the wait.

By far my favorite vegan spot for takeout. They have everything and more you can dream of getting at your local Chinese/Japanese restaurant. I’ve been ordering here for a few years and everything is tasty, fresh and consistent. The roast pork fried rice is amazing, the pad kee mao is delicious, their wonton soup is always hot and savory, their curries are bomb, and their chicken nuggets are crispy and huge! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and it’s all flavorful and made with love. Not to mention is owners are so sweet and friendly! The only disclaimer is, it’s cash only. I definitely recommend to everyone and anyone, 10/10!

By far my favorite vegetarian Asian restaurant. It's not fancy but the food is very good and the staff is very friendly. I don't come here often cause I live far but the woman always recognizes me and greets me with a smile. I've never had a bad meal here.

Food is great! We had the roasted fish, mango chicken and gen tso. Everything is very tasteful. The texture and flavor of the fish is amazing! Mango chicken was finished really quickly so here’s a pic of the fish and gen tso 😅 just make sure to take cash because they dont take card 🙂

CoCo Lin offers this quaint Queens neighborhood a dining experience that is common to this and other parts of the city. A floor-to-ceiling glass wall is the only thing that separates the pleasant yet starkly decorated inside of the restaurant from the sidewalk. You're always greeted by Jenny, the co-owner and face of CoCo Lin, and if you're lucky you will be served by one of her two school-aged children/employees. Spend any short amount of time with Jenny, and her unabounded charisma will become apparent and may even be one of the reasons you return to CoCo Lin in the future. Dine here once and you will witness how personable she can be as she greets each her customers by asking about their husbands, their children, or by asking for a report on life in general just to make them feel that they have a friend behind the counter. Don't be surprised if when you return she teases you about how long it's been since you last came! The vegan fare here at CoCo Lin is consistent in quality and gives us the opportunity to partake in ancient Chinese Buddhist cuisine. Dinner is served with a tall glass of jasmine tea and comes quickly after making your order off of the extensive menu. General Tso's chicken is probably the most commonly ordered item, but Thai-style curries, pineapple fried rice, chicken nuggets, and any number of the entrées and appetizers can entice mildly adventurous restaurant goers like myself. Make sure to ask Jenny if there's a traditional dish being served for whatever Chinese holiday is being celebrated at the moment -- you may be in for a treat! In closing, I feel compelled, as a frequent guest at CoCo Lin, to address the writers who have left one-star reviews here, as well as to address whoever may find themselves debating over whether to visit or order from this mom-and-pop-shop family establishment due to the influx of below-average testimonies left here: I do not wish you or anyone else to have anything other than an enjoyable dining experience at my favorite vegan Chinese food restaurant. I would hope that you always keep in mind how quickly someone must work in order to meet the requests of the ever-growing clientele and to make sure all of the younger employees get their homework done. Being in a position that requires fast thinking and relentless hard work does not encourage a warm and inviting attitude, and it's the opinion of this reviewer that the friendly and to-the-point customer service you get from Jenny at CoCo Lin is well above what you would expect from most anyone else in such a position.

Amazing vegan food! Everything there is vegan even though it says vegetarian. Really nice female staff that works on Sunday evening. General tso 'chicken' was amazing! Healthy brown rice options.

Absolutely delicious and fresh food!! Loved not having to worry about egg or fish sauce in my food. Everything is vegan yay! I’ve never had a freshly made scallion pancake or egg roll before, pretty cool. Had the mango chicken and pad kee mao with “pork” and both were sooo tasty. Hard to find fresh mango like this too!! Can’t wait to come back again.

Although this place is cash only, my family & I love this place! We go all the time! The prices are amazing. The atmosphere, out of this world, and it’s so family oriented (I love that). Vegan food, for this great price is outstanding. The best & the freshest food that you can think of! Totally, totally recommended!

Love love CocoLin. I've been coming here since they opened several years ago. Jen and her husband are just lovely and we have become friends. The food is excellent - all vegetarian. Everything is very tasty but our favorites are Mango Chicken, curry rolls. Dumplings (especially good) asparagus with tenderloin tips and pad kee Mao. Every dish is fresh and prepared exactly right. I could eat here several times a week and never be bored. The prices are very reasonable and the food is plentiful. So happy they have made a success of this restaurant as it is a great addition to the neighborhood.

This is a gem. Everything on the menu is fresh, made in a culinary style that could warrant higher prices. It’s very affordable. They have vegan versions of dishes that are better than the traditional ones. I am not a vegetarian or vegan that’s how good this place is. Oh and it’s very healthy so wow

This place is just beyond 5 stars. I recently moved here from the deep south, and my uncle and I came on a Monday evening and had the entire place to ourselves. As a vegan, I felt like a little kid at this restaurant because I could eat EVERYTHING on the menu!! My uncle and I shared the salt and pepper oyster mushrooms, curry roll, chicken lo mein, Thai fried rice, and eggplant & garlic sauce. The mushrooms, curry roll, and lo mein were genuinely some of the best food I've ever had. My uncle got one of the juices, and I got the avocado & soy milk smoothie. Not only were they both delicious, but the owner refilled those drinks without us even asking or her charging us for it. I've never been to a restaurant that refills specialty drinks like that! This is easily going to my usual spot, and I'm kind of worried about my monthly budget now that I've discovered this place. It's very affordable, but I want to eat here every day now😅

Who knew vegetarian food could be this delicious? I absolutely love this local spot and used to order lunch from there regularly. It’s a small family-owned business with amazing and affordable lunch specials. I highly recommend the fish steak teriyaki—one of my all-time favorites. The sauce is incredible—made with all-natural ingredients, no artificial additives. Just real, wholesome food. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She’s a kind and hardworking woman.

Yummy vegetarian Chinese spot, with tons of options that tasted very fresh. I got the Basil “chicken” which is sautéed with green beans and red peppers. Also got the scallion pancake, which was good but could’ve used more scallions. Overall a gem in the neighborhood, excited to go back!

I ordered out from this place. Got a chicken sandwich, or at least I thought I would. They gave me two different sandwiches (one I ate and one I saved for the next day’s lunch). What a pleasant surprise. Tasted solid. Plus I like the name of the restaurant 5 stars

Excellent Asian Vegan restaurant. The red curry with mock duck was filled with veggies. I was so full that I didn’t eat all the mock duck. The mock duck was flavorful as was the broth the veggies were in. The apple, pineapple and ginger juice was great. While I had my hand on it the server suggested the very juice. I will definitely go back.

Food was really good, definitely going to order from here again. First time I ever had mango chicken, I would recommend that. We also had the chicken teriyaki which was quite nice as well. They have a pretty wide variety of vegan options Update 3/16: Ordered the curry chicken lunch special and sesame chicken lunch special. Both very tasty, hard to decide which I enjoyed more

Amazing vegan Chinese place! They have an extensive menu and a stellar lunch menu. For $7.50 you get a soup or spring roll and a meal. Where in the city can you get a vegan meal for that these days!? The food was great, though I have a friend that goes more regularly and he says some of the dishes can be hit or miss. For example, the lemon chicken lunch special wasn't really like lemon chicken, it was more like deep fried fish fingers. It was delicious, just not what we were expecting. The Malaysian pancake appetizer is to die for. The curry sauce is made from all natural ingredients and simmered for 8 hours! The staff was super friendly, would definitely come back next time I am in the area. It seems like the bad reviews are more from ppl either not understanding it's vegan food, or annoyed at delivery, which they may not have any control over. The food is A+!

P
Priti R

It's a hit or miss with some of the dishes (the eggplant was good, but quite flavorless, but the lo main is ON POINT). Juices are a cute addition. Very nice lady running the place! Would definitely recommend.

This place is great. A cute little restaurant for all vegan Chinese style food. I went with a friend when it was pretty chilly out (early April 2013), and was worried that it would be cold but it was really quite comfy and warm! Decor is average, nothing special. Cleaner than many other Chinese food places I've been to. Prices are quite reasonable, about $10-13 per entree, $4 for smoothies and non-alcoholic beverages. Portions were very big and we both had leftovers. I had the curry "beef", she had the General Tsao's "chik'n", and we shared some spring rolls. It's basically soy meat analogs, and it's delicious. It's no Zen Palate - which has a similar menu and prices but with fantastic decor and phenomenal food. ZP spoiled me, but ultimately, I guess they weren't sustainable because they closed down most of their locations. Anyway, back to CoCo Lin. The flavors were very good but the textures on the soy meat could have used a little work. Not bad at all, but again, I've been spoiled. Service was great, the waitress was really fun and friendly and happy. I'm a big water guy, and the water was just right. They also deliver for orders $10+, so if you're in Ridgewood/Bushwick area, they're def worth it. Overall, I give it an 8 out of 10.

Sandriene S

The food was very tasty here. Loved that everything on the menu was vegan. If I were rating the food only I'd give it a 5 start. The costumer service is not 5 star but very bearable. Need better customer service.

A
Anthony Peters

From the moment you walk in the waitress/hostess is very hospitable and friendly. The vegetarian meat options have some of the most meat-like textures i've ever had. If you would like to introduce someone to vegetarian eating, you could take them here, order just about anything, and tell them that it was meat after they've eaten it. They would hardly know the difference. i eat here all the time and would definitely recommend. have the general tso chicken.

I’m so happy this place is in Queens. Now I don’t have to go to Teaneck or trek to Chinatown for vegan Chinese food. I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken, Fried Oyster Mushrooms and a seaweed soup. Everything was good but the mushrooms are the star of the show. I could eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You should definitely add them to every order you make at this restaurant.

Juan Lima
Juan Lima

Nice coming back to check in and try their vegetarian dishes. Lunch specials were a good price, but the menu prices were dated so a star off for that. Papaya and Mango Smoothies were refreshing, the strawberry daiquiri was artificial. The fish steak teriyaki and beef with broccoli over brown rice were very good. My wife liked the spring roll and the hot and sour soup came in a big bowl which was nice. The salt and pepper king mushroom oysters were deep fried and were delicious.

Jada Cat
Jada Cat

I ordered the Sugar Cane Drumsticks and Roast Pork with cabbage, carrots and snap peas. Everything was delicious - however, I could have done without the mock duck fat on the mock roast duck. It was a gelatin/rubbery like consistency. Not sure who enjoys eating fat like that anyways. I did think the mock duck was tasty though but the fat part was not necessary at all.

Parking hard to find only meter street parking. Food was ok. Had General TSO chicken vegan style was ok really no sauce on the meat. Mango chicken was better and good. First time there Brooklyn have better food in my opinion.

I would love to give this place 5 stars but BEWARE! If you want delivery, the lady who everyone is referring to in these reviews are 100% accurate. She was quick to hang up the phone before I could even give her payment. When I called back wanting to give her my name and CC, she seems super frustrated. I asked if I can add a beverage with my meal. She rudely said no bc she processed the card. I politely asked if she could redo the order and then the yelling commenced. As I was trying to de-escalate, she hung up on me again! Perhaps it was a language barrier ,or she was just flat out overwhelmed. I asked if she was okay when I called back the third time and her tone changed. Please give this women some love if you do order from her. The food is great but the customer service is very strange.

Food was good for vegetarian food! Staff was friendly. The sign outside of the door stated they take credit cards. There was no sign stating that it was out of order. We ate our dinner and then when it was time to pay, we were told the phone was out of order and we could not pay with credit card. My friend was told to go out and use a machine. She ran after my friend and told him to go to the Arab bodega across the street. My friend had to use an unsafe atm. He came back and paid our bill. For all other they should put up a sign either credit card out of order or as credit is more expensive for them, Cash Only. Sorry folks this was the 1st and last time I come here! Also see past review where they pulled the same thing!

The Apple/Grapefruit/Ginger drink I got was amazing, and the fried rice was pretty okay. But the Mapo Tofu gave me food poisoning. The tofu was spoiled. That kind of ruined my lunch.

First off, I really enjoy this restaurant food. Probably one of the best vegan spots in queens. But sadly very disappointing service. We called in two weeks ago for a delivery order and they were willing to deliver. After the food was delivered I went downstairs to pick it up from the driver and realized I didn’t bring enough change for tip. I told him that I would come back for more money but the driver who seemed annoyed refused and left. A week later when my bf tried calling back for an order the phones person who answered said they are not willing to deliver and only do pickup and said “because of your girlfriend..” I was Shocked that they would even give us that answer. A simple “you’re not in our range” would have been fine. I don’t think it was professional at all and I hate to be that person but they should rethink of how they talk to their costumers in these situations.

I used to go to Coco Lin 2–3 times a week for lunch while working in the area, and I’ll say right away — the food is absolutely delicious. Their vegan Chinese dishes are flavorful, fresh, and always hit the spot. I genuinely looked forward to my orders every time. That said, the service was very disappointing. I would always order in advance and pick up my food, greeting the staff politely with a smile when I arrived. Almost every time, the lady at the counter barely acknowledged me. She would just point at my bag or throw it on the counter without a word. She always seemed in a bad mood when I walked in, yet she greeted other customers warmly and invited them in with genuine friendliness. At first, I thought maybe it was because I was a new customer, which was still strange, but even after months of regular visits, the attitude toward me never changed. It’s frustrating because returning customers who consistently support a business should feel appreciated, and unfortunately, I never did. If you’re only judging by the food, Coco Lin is excellent, but if good service matters to you, you might want to think twice.

Ordered once and was done with this restaurant. The delivery guy showed up refusing to leave and demanding for tips. Twenty minutes after he left, my husband received a phone call from the restaurant tell him we did not tip the delivery guy. First of all, I have never seen a restaurant calling a customer demanding for tips. Second of all, tipping is not mandatory. If you really want tips then you should just charge delivery fee like other restaurants. And last of all the food came to us so dry. The hot and sour soup was clearly made from the morning, so dark and taste wrong!

On Oct. 19,2019 My order arrived earlier than expected which should have been a red flag. The delivery person was super nice even. I order fried wontons and they were cold with barely any filling inside of them. The wontons tasted like eating fried nothingness. The sesame pancakes were also cold and had the texture and flavor of eating cardboard. The hot and sour soup was slimy, had the aroma of tobacco and tasted of cigarette ashes!!! The basil chicken had good flavor the texture of the chicken was weird but the white rice was good. I took one bite of the spring roll and couldn’t consume it because it was barely fried, it was soft and not appetizing at all. Last the general tso chicken had good sauce but the texture was not good, barely had cashews and broccoli but again the white rice was good. I will never be ordering in the future. So disappointed that I purchased $50 worth of food to not being able to eat most of it besides the rice. I asked for a refund and they declined. I’m sure the food that was delivered to me they would not even consume it themselves. I really felt cheated and left feeling very disappointed. I even would’ve preferred fresh prepared food but you know what I learned my lesson and that is to NEVER order from this place EVER again! This restaurant is on my ABSOLUTELY NOT LIST! Thanks for preparing my food but you really made my day truly a SAD one.

Good food but RUDE people, especially the delivery man. On Seamless/Grubhub the prices are way marked up, when you receive your order the receipt says you gave more tip than you really did. That’s because they mark down the food to the original price and use the extra amount as tip. Even with this, the delivery guy has a very rude attitude, yelling and demanding more tip, snatching the money and sometimes hesitating to give the food.

This place is absolutely horrible. The quality of the food and service is disgusting . I waited 2 hours and 30 minutes for my food to be delivered. When I called I was yelled at by a lady that worked there. A week later my bf did a pick up order, I went in to pick up the food, the lady noticed my address and yelled at me some more . This place should get SHUT DOWN!!!!! Wow unbelievable. If you want quality and good service go to JUJU BEE TREE in Astoria.

I tried to order from here via grubhub. After I ordered a woman called and starting hurling insults at me off the bat. I got confused and asked what the problem is, and said she had a problem with me ordering from them before, and that since the apt # was the same. Thing is, I moved here from England less than a month ago and never ordered from here before. She did not apologise even after I clarified this, and just hung up. I strongly recommend everyone not to give money to a business that obviously doesn't care about being professional.

Before I left a 5 star here. But today had a worst experience because of rude lady on the phone at the register. I was making sure about dishes being gluten free, because some places just say yes without understanding how serious this matter is and she starts raising her voice at me. Learn how to be polite like a human being, don't start barking like an animal, you live among humans

I've been a vegetarian for over 30 years. And unfortunately, CoCo Lin was one of the worst, most uninspired takes on vegetarian food I've ever had. The "Peking duck" & "roast pork" were the exact same dish, down to the shape & taste. Worse still, they tasted like the dehydrated bean curd I cooked & ate as a child. And the "buns" for the "Peking duck" were like paper doilies. Their seaweed salad was just a bit of seaweed, thrown over a bed of shredded lettuce. In 2023 it's not hard to make vegetarian food which approximates the taste of meat. The oyster mushrooms were the only decent thing we ate, as they were simply breaded & deep fried. Do yourself a favor & eat elsewhere.

They are money-hungry and very rude. Disgusting behavior. They cancel your orders if they are unsatisfied with the tip amount. They curse you out over the phone and hang up on you. The food is average and mostly bland. They need to stop acting like they are an important Michelin-star restaurant.

Terrible experience!!! I placed an order for dumplings online (doordash) and after waiting for more than an hour, they showed the order was completed without actually delivering it. When I called the place, the lady told me the order was of low value and my place was far so they cancelled it. Such a poor customer service. Do not accept orders in the first place and if you do, least have the courtesy to not mark it as completed. That too after such a long wait. Never ordering from here again!

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!! TOTAL FOOD VIOLATIONS, with THE WORST ATTITUDE A RESTAURANT OWNER SHOULD NEVER HAVE!!! First, I noticed a bowl full of dough filling left in the dining area- unwrapped, and let's not forget the plate of dough on the side, all out in the open. Makes me wonder whats going on inside the kitchen?? Second, I ordered my meal with brown rice, and when I told the woman I was served white rice, an instant snide remark came out of her mouth. So when I noticed they also forgot the extra sauce with my order, I kept my mouth shut. However, when the bill came she had charged me $9.25 for an advertised lunch special of $8.25. When I approached to pay, I asked why I was charged a dollar more? She said the menu is over five years old, then proceeded to ask a customer to tell me that she did not manually change the price. My response, ( which I thought was a logical one) was that the customer is not the owner of the establishment, she is. As such should charge the advertised price. She looked at me and said "OK, free!" I replied I didnt have a problem paying for the meal, just charge the advertised price. She made the unwise decision to disrespect me, with another snide remark, in her language. Fed up with this woman's attitude I replied "now, its free!" She exploded, and yelled from the top of her lungs, "get out!!! Not the smartest move from a restaurant owner. Having been in the restaurant business myself, its very apparent this establishment is past due a food inspection.

Usually they're great, but for some reason they suddenly decided that they couldn't deliver to us. The lady on the phone said it was too far, though Google maps showed it as 2.5mi or a 14min drive. They've delivered to us previously and we always tip the driver generously, so I have no clue why the sudden change of heart. It's really a shame, this was one of our favorite vegan spots, but after placing an order, waiting for an hour and then checking the status only to see it was cancelled I think we'll be finding our take out from elsewhere.

We ordered the food an hour before closing time, and yesss we got a lot of food!!! It took a little longer than we expected but considering the amount of food we ordered 👀🙈 But let me tell you! It was totally worth the wait!!! Delicious, fresh and nicely packed 🥘🙌🤤will definitely order again! UPDATE!!! Few things to mention about this place First time we had a hard time with delivery(since they deliver their food using their own drivers) but food was well packed and cooked, so I even left a review in order to support the business and show appreciation. (Right before the update) Next time when we ordered the food, we were simply told that they wouldn’t deliver it to us since it is too far (considering the fact that we placed an order in timely manner, way before their closing time and it wasn’t the first time we ordered !!! And finally, the 3rd time when we wanted to actually dine in (!!!since they DONT DELIVER, that was the only option!!!) we CALLED before coming and made sure about their closing time etc.. When we were already there to DINE-IN, the lady (assuming a manager or an owner) said that it was the last hour of their closing hour so it was cleaning time despite the fact THAT WE WERE TOLD THE EXACT TIME UNTIL WE COULD ACTUALLY BE THERE AND EAT on the phone! Bottom line, the food is good, of course, BUT ITS NOT WORTH IT. This restaurant is seriously lacking some good customer service and manager Some lazy workers … P.S. not mentioning that it was my birthday:)

Placed a order on DoorDash , first time buying food from this place… couples minutes later says canceled I come at the restaurant to understand why got canceled maybe they’re out of a item on something when they picked up the phone and I asked the reason to canceling they lady hysterically laughed at me and said they canceled because is a 3 miles drive and my tip was too low for the driver… unfortunately on DoorDash you not able to update tips once you get your order delivered you can always add more tip but not adjust there’s no way I will give a 20% tip when I’m not even sure of how the service will be. I felt disrespected and honestly glad she canceled I rather give my money and buy from Amitufo , and I’m sure they do this because they have their own driver.. because in nyc there’s law that you should add tip only after order completed.

Earlier I gave them better reviews but gave them couple of visit and the lady at friendly desk has a nasty attitude. She need to know people don’t come to Restaurants to face attitude. Food business need better and excellent services and frond desk manners. Food is good but what’s the point if you pay for food and get attitude in return. You want to spoil your hour or day, feel free to go there. Dated Oct 1st 2025. This is a reply to what the restaurant owner feedback on my feedback today. Why I am doing this ? i) address the lie ii) bring awareness to customers . It took you 7 years to reply and you on top of that you have audacity to lie. I never take pics without permission from owners. I have provided many reviews of several restaurants, and which include 5/5 and some 1/5 just like your restaurant. Few others have said & agreed with me as they had no better experience then me. You are in food business and have no manner and ethics to serve a customer and I wish you even know how to cook. You don’t try becoming better by listening to feedback, but you have capacity to lie. You are in US and not back home where client/customer feedback does not matter. It does and specially in retail and food.
