Did a GrubHub order from here for the first time. The food was affordable, plentiful and very tasty! The Pad Thai was not overly sauced or salted. The noodles were perfect and the chicken & shrimp were tender and juicy! The only thing I could complain about was not getting chopsticks in the bag, but there was silverware and napkins. I didn't ask for them, so that's on me. The volume of food is plenty for a couple of leftover meals! Really enjoyed the Chicken Satay as well. Super flavorful and the peanut sauce was excellent!

We have heard about this place for years and have been trying to come for a long time. Shame on us! Thus is the best flavored Thai food in Riverside. Even at #4 spicey, there is still lots of flavor. Definitely coming back soon.

I have been coming here for the past couple of years and I have had no problems. I love their food! I have only ordered it to-go, so I never actually sat down here to eat. But the food is very good and hot when I pick it up, and the staff are very kind. And what I love the most is that they accommodate my "special request" when I order my shrimp fried rice...no vegetables and no soy sauce. Thank you!

I dont know how I made it 38 years without ever trying Tom Yum. I recently discovered Tom Ka here and it blew my mind, so I went for the next logical item and. My. Lort. This soup could probably cure Covid. In addition to this miracle-working soup, I ordered the Thai Dumplings and they are perfect in every way, I wanna swim in that dipping sauce.

Ok this is my honest review... You need to know what to get and what not to get when you come here. You can never go wrong with the soups here. The amount of food on the entrees is the perfect amount for 2-3 people. That includes noodles and rice. I've been here a hand full of times with my significant other and for 2 people I've spend well over $60 + tip. Our order usually consists of 1 soup 1 entree 1 rice plate 1 appetizer 2 can sodas. The total is usually $63 + tip. So I can only imagine what a family of 4 would spend. Overall the service is great and this is usually a ones in a while outing

I've been eating here since they opened. Great food. Love the crab fried rice and pineapple fried, cat fish, Tom yum soup (I get the highest level of spice), chicken larb and drunken noodles. Has never disappointed. One of my favorite thai restaurant in Riverside. Worth a try if you're craving thai. Very affordable.

This place is excellent. I eat Thai at least once a week in Long Beach and now I wished I lived closer to this restaurant. The Boat Noodle Soup and Curry Fried Rice were off the charts they were so good. My daughter had the Thai BBQ Chicken and it was cooked just right, but I didn't try it so I can't comment. Also, the service is excellent. I hope the word gets out on this place because there was only one other table occupied and it's a shame for such a great restaurant to not have more customers. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

Their vegetable pad Thai was delicious, spice level 4 has quite the kick but it’s not overwhelming. The prices are fair, the restaurant itself is clean and the staff is friendly. I will definitely be back.

Love the food here. I’ve been a customer of Royal Orchid for years. Excellent Thai food, love their curry, crab/seafood fried rice, their shrimp side dishes, their pad thai, as well as their “tofu delight”. They will make their curry, rice, and noodle dishes as hot as you want it, so beware! I’m a wimp and can’t really go above level 5, but they have a heat level 10 if you like it burning hot! Or as mild as you’d like as well. All of their food is home made and fresh to order.

Corner where restaurant is located is a little run down but interior is very nicely decorated & clean. Staff is polite & attentive. Atmosphere is good and the food is delicious. Thai tea is also great. Ordered the Basil Crispy pork & Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork, both came with a side of rice. I like spicy food so I ordered my broccoli & pork with level 4 spicy which i loved but could be too spicy for other people. If you just want a kick, order level 1 spiciness or whatever is the least spicy they can do for you. Prices reasonable for portions. Update: Thai tea is still good. Basil crispy pork also still delicious. The boat noodle soup was ok, not bad but not great either. Service was good as usual and there was plenty of parking available on a Sunday afternoon.

Best hidden gem cause I've driven past it but I never knew it existed. Service, atmosphere and flavors were the best I've ever eaten hands down. I wish I would have come here sooner. I would leave 10 stars if I could. This is one of the few restaurants that make me wish I had a bigger stomach for more delicious food. Great job and I will be back 👍👍👍

I ordered the shrimp pad thai and my friend ordered teriyaki chicken. Both dishes were quite good and the service was fine. Wouldn't mind going back.

This place has some delicious of the most delicious thai food in the area. What separates them apart from the rest, they offer do it yourself kit. Where they sell you the already ingredients and you cook it home. How awesome is that. Want to learn how to cook Pad Thai. By it from here without the hassle of having to go buy the ingredients at different markets.

Came here for the first time to eat lunch. The food was excellent. We walked in it's only 100° degrees outside and about 80° inside. We sat down and ordered our food. The a/c was turned on and temperature dropped to about 70. The service was also excellent. I will be coming here again.

The food is okay but the portions are really small. My husband is 6 feet 2 inches and weighs about 190 and is a hearty eater. We had our dinner and at the end we were both still a little hungry. I don't think we'll be returning anytime soon.

We had to wait a while to receive our bill and then it took a while for a server to come pick the bill up. After we paid and got into our car, the server came out and gave us our credit card that she forgot to give us back. It was a great start that just went downhill, and although we are happy she came out us our card back, she should have given it back to us at the same time we received our bill. Otherwise i would have given this review a 4/5 stars.

I ordered and was told it would be 20-25 minutes to receive my food. When I went to check on the status of my food, I was told 10-15 more minutes. I ended up waiting a little over 50 minutes. I only live a 6 min drive away and was disappointed that my shrimp tempura was soggy, my beef pad see ew had very little beef and my pad thai was almost cold by the time I got home.

Besides that all dishes went up in price, I wouldn't recommend it for type of service they provide. They will put tiny pieces of expensive vegetables and fill it up with cheapest they can find. Royal orchid rolls used to be a decent size and now cut them in 1/4 to make it look they same they are actually giving you less for $10.50 old price $8 never coming back!

I never got the refund for the extra charge on my credit card but they can keep it since it wasn’t worth my time filing a claim, and I believed the lady answering the phone promising to revert it. I could’ve filed a police report for theft but didn’t. Keep the change you filthy animal. The restrooms are dirty and they didn't give me my credit card back. Later that night I realized they made another charge without my authorization. I will never be back to this place. Great way to chase costumers away.

I came in the restaurant to eat. I usually order pick up but decided to eat inside. To make it,short bugs came out of my food there was two little black bugs coming out of my fried rice and they just crawled out and I got nauseous after seeing that. As much as I loved the food there it’s unsanitary, never again.

I tried the fried pork belly plate and I told the server to make sure they go light on the sauce. When I get the plate and eat it at home, the pork is too salty and the sauce is too drench to even taste any flavor. In addition, when the order was placed, I was told it would only take 15 minutes to make. It took the staff 42 minutes to make and I only followed up with the server after 20 minutes. No explanation to why it took long or an apology. This restaurant has low standards compared to other local Thai restaurants.

I ordered take out. I asked for lemon. Got none. I asked again and was given one piece. I went back and asked a 3 rd time and was given another small piece. $20 plate and they wouldn’t give me lemon!! Horrible service!!

Our party of 4 and 1 child decided to see it through and give them a chance. We had Tom Kha, yellow chicken curry, chicken fried rice, Pad See Ew, and chicken satay. The quality of the food was mediocre at best compared to other Thai establishments. The yellow chicken curry was mostly onion and very watered down. The Tom Kha, Pad See Ew and Chicken fried rice were ok at best. Another disappointment was the chicken satay. Chicken was over cooked and had a strange odor/texture as well. Lastly, not sure when a party of 4 became a large party deserving of an automatic 18% gratuity charge, but that came as an added surprise at the end. I’m not against tipping, but it should be left up to the customer to determine the amount, especially if the service and quality were sub par. Those with small parties are HIGHLY advised to check for automatically imposed gratuities!
