I’m not from the area but my wife is and honestly, I’m not normally into donuts.. that being said - I was hooked ever since the first time she took me here. My only requirement when we visit family is that we stop here and get some donuts. Flavors are all great and well executed. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Donuts Delite was my favorite place to go with my father growing up, and now my favorite pizza place is in the same spot! How convenient! The service is always excellent, and I love the atmosphere inside of the restaurant. Prices are also more than fair here, and it is very family-friendly. I highly recommend going here. The owners are also wonderful people which makes it even better.

It's always a treat to go here. They have a unique variety of doughnuts. I don't often but when I do I am never disappointed. I can't say the same out the breakfast options sans their pizza.

When I say Donuts Delite has unmatched customer service, I am not exaggerating. I moved away from Rochester in 2003. I recently had a best friends parent pass away unexpectedly. I wanted to send her family something different than what they were probably getting from everyone else. Door dash wasn’t cooperating with the location I was sending from (NC), and the location of Donuts Delite to Chili wasn’t working- it just couldn’t be done on my computer or phone. I’m so glad I called, bc they delivered the donuts themselves to my friends front porch. My order was taken care of perfectly and I even received a call afterwards to let me know that they had been delivered. Cannot speak more highly to this level of customer service and quality. Thank you so much!

The best coffee in all of Rochester! Which is perfect because they have the best apple fritter to go with it!! It's quite a combination to be able to walk in and see such an assortment of donuts available and while you're there to pick up a slice of the best pizza!! I placed a grubhub order for my mom who was in the hospital and had mentioned she wanted hot chocolate and also got her a donut. I left a very detailed note for the driver to make sure the order got to her. The staff saw the note and wrote very sweet messages on her cup and even sent some extras that my mom shared with the staff. It absolutely made my mom's night. Thank you so much!

Cramped location. Service was fast. Pizza is also available here. The chocolate cream filled and eclair filled donuts are really tasty. It was busy at the counter and the staff worked efficiently and tirelessly.

First off, I despise Dunkin’ Donuts but apparently that’s the only place to get donuts…except for donuts delite. This gem of a breakfast joint just rocked my world. They serve breakfast pizza?! And a wide variety of donuts too. We got apple fritter, sour cream, buttermilk, glaze and Bavarian. Hands down my favorite of ALL TIME Apple fritter. I got a breakfast calzone with egg, ham and sausage and cheese. I’m a 40 year old man and never thought this kind of magic could exist. It was so good and they warmed it up for me too. Staff was super nice, got a real old school vibe in here and totally worth coming to!!

This shop was awesome. I went with a 1/2 dozen donuts because that is what I traveled for, but the pizza looked good too. The variety of donuts was amazing. I was so excited to see a peanut butter filled one. I love all things peanut butter. 17 dollars and some change for 6 donuts. They have cool diner style inside seating and plenty of outdoor seating. I also saw they have two locations which makes sense because they are that good.

I'm a wheelchair user..... the double front door is a challenge to get in without assistance but doable.... they have an table area that is wider for wheelchair in the back section but I wouldn't want to go when its packed. Because even getting into the front door would be a challenge. The Breakfast pizza meat one was super cheesy and amazing!!!!! I did the $10 slice with drink and donut. Everything was great. You get ur money worth. *Only down fall is there aint many spots for wheelchair users.... so more than 2 wheelchairs would be a challenge.* I did ask to leave via the back/side delivery door bc it was easier to get out via wheelchair and I avoided having to roll people over at the front getting donuts/coming in. But its a classic dinner set up with historic landmark with an amazing story & look forward to more visits in my future. Donuts Delite catered our wedding dessert (we much prefer donuts to cake); we ordered about 130 donuts in an assortment of cannoli, maple bacon, sour cream, and a custom lemon blueberry. We looked at a few different options around Rochester, but were happiest with the strong flavors at Donuts Delite. They were great to work with in making sure we were satisfied with the choices we wanted, including experimenting with custom flavors. Several options were available for displays and racks (for rent), which made for a beautiful donut wall. I would give 4-4.5 stars if I could. At times, the owner and staff can be difficult to get in touch with. It seems that they are working on streamlining this. We also had a large quantity of a plain cake donut we did not order. I think this was a substitution for many of the custom donuts we wanted, which was a disappointment. With that being said, dessert was definitely a highlight at our wedding and we would absolutely choose Donuts Delite again.

Donuts were like 2 day old bread at around 8am. Probably won't take a chance outside fried cakes which retain their consistency. I couldn't even finish the one glazed twist or the tart. Service was excellent though.

I ordered a vegetarian frittata and it came with potatoes but no toast and there were no eggs in it. It was very tasty but not as described on the menu. I asked about the toast and the waitress said it didn't come with toast but she could get some for me if I wanted. Coffee was good. Service was a little slow but the diner was busy and we weren't in a hurry.

This is like a donut/pizza shop combo. Kinda of a weird place but donuts are better than average and prices are decent. Doesn’t compare with ridge donuts which are bigger and better and have the same prices but this place has better hours and is worlds above things like Wegmans and Dunkin’ Donuts. Totally worth checking out if in the area.

It's a cute donut and pizza shop on the corner of 4 busy streets. Kindda confusing entrance to rather go up the small hill or so from the one busy road. It would be nice if someone greeted my friend and myself instead of not sure to seat one self or wait for a host to seat us. The food was good and we had a great waitress that was very accommodating.

Variety of donuts is great however, wish they would label all the varities available to have time to order.... Because asking what they are while there is a line is stressful. Also for the price at $18 a dozen they should make sure the donuts have enough filling in them. We had to eat 2/3 of two donuts to get to the filling they really had so little white cream in them it was disappointing and no chocolate frosting on top!

Our server was very friendly and the space is cute in a retro diner style kind of way, so I definitely see the appeal. Some of the donuts were better than others; the lobster-sized apple fritter and cinnamon apple ones were yummy, but the banana cream one was not what I expected (the filling was minimal and more icing-like than custard cream). We ordered pancakes, and it was a little dry and tasteless. Overall, I think it was just not to my taste, but I'm sure others might enjoy their style of donuts.

Donuts Delite is a small donut place that has limited seating and a long wait time for your order. My order, the Stuffed Breakfast Calzone, took over 40 minutes to make. The wait was not worth it as the calzone just tasted average and ordinary. It is a donut place however, so if you’re only getting donuts they should be okay as long as you eat them all the day they were made. I waited a day to eat my donut and was extremely dry and withered shell of its former self. Much like Harrison Ford, it ages terribly.

For years this was out go to breakfast diner. In the past year the service and quality have declined sharply. The owner is clearly not investing time or money in this business, likely because he can't handle the increased workload since opening a second location.. If this location has a manager, they are wholly unqualified. Clearly a lack of effort by leadership. Food was poorly prepared, service was almost non existent. Pay better wages to attract better staff. Replace your consistently broken ice machine. Have a presence on your establishment that encourages better quality product. Donuts are still great.

Been coming to this place for work for years and they used to have the best donuts. I think they’ve expanded and their quality has suffered. I place big orders from them for work and they just seem a little disorganized lately. Ordered 5 dozen assorted and got 5 dozen of unpopular flavored donuts. Just overall not thrilled, staff is always friendly and the restaurant is always clean.

UPDATE 1/26/19 - I'm taking a couple stars away. I got a garbage plate today from this location, $14 which is fine for the typical mountain of food you normally get in a plate. But this plate had so little Mac salad and home fries it's crazy. They charged me $14, then saved $3 more by not giving any sides! If you're gonna give me child portions, charge me a child price. I won't be doing a plate from this location again. ------- original review ------- This is an excellent place to grab a cup of coffee and donuts or get a full breakfast with eggs, toast, etc. I wasn't born and raised in Rochester so I have never eaten here before it was owned by Salvatore's. The food is like any other kind of diner food plus they have the full Salvatore's menu so you can get things in the evening like BBQ or wings. Pro Tip - They deliver breakfast. You can call and have some eggs and coffee and donuts delivered right to your house assuming you're in the delivery area. FYI - Avoid the Salvatores on east ave. Terrible management.

Order from a different Salvatore's. This is the worst one, This is mainly because the staff is all over the place. No matter what you order your food is going to take an hour. (This is literally what the person on the phone told me) I order food for my company, so I pre-order in advance for specific times. I've placed 3 different orders at this salvatores and they have been 30 minutes late twice and an HOUR late when I had to feed 60 individuals!! I only order sheet pizzas and the last time I ordered, 6 of my pizzas looked like the number "8" Management is terrible and lack customer service skills. I called this time and complained about the lateness and poor quality of pizza and the gentleman said "That's how they're supposed to look" "What do you want me to do" I included a picture of one of the pizzas. Typically a sheet pizza fills up the whole box and it's a rectangle not an 8.... I called when they were running 30 minutes late and the lady told me they were on their way and hung up on me. This location used to be great but the new management must be running it down. I'm truly disgusted by the rudeness I only gave 2 stars because it's salvatores and the flavor is still there. I typically order from the Salvatores on S Clinton that one is AMAZING and I will go back to ordering there.

God I hate to do this but it was just so terrible. I got a chicken finger sub with brown slimy lettuce on it. I also got a chicken Charlie pizza. It had no blue cheese sause, and was very undercooked, and wasn't sliced. Luckily I have a pizza stone and was able to finish cooking it. Also the delivery driver must have dropped my pizza cause all the toppings were sloughed over to one side. Normally this place is good. I'm not sure what happened.

Had it for delivery but they can’t come here and bring me the right order, so now a waisted time and money just to throw everything out and go somewhere else to get service. Obviously I ordered delivery for a reason.
