I called this market ahead of time to order 6 cases of clams casino for my mother's birthday. The staff I spoke to on the phone were incredibly kind and helpful, and they even loaded my car for me when I arrived. The entire venue was clean and impeccably run and maintained, and everyone who worked there greeted me with a smile. I will definitely return when I have more coolers to bring more delicious food home with me!

Today we bought a variety of meat for the grill and a few sides. It was a delicious meal and everything was reasonably priced. This shop is a family favorite for sure.

Excellent butcher shop with prompt friendly service. This is where you go for the “good stuff”. I bought a whole loin and had them cut it into steaks. They were some of the best I’ve ever had. Yes, it’s expensive but so worth it. Highly recommended!

I've shopped here for meat & seafood but today was the first time I've eaten at the restaurant. I got my food to go to try em out. I ordered the Palmer Burger, 10 ounce Black Angus patty was cooked perfectly, I added bacon & mushrooms, little lite on the mushrooms but it was OK. I added some onion rings instead of fries, they were delicious! Overall I'm very happy, the burger was absolutely delicious! Just the right amount of toppings, lettuce, tomatoes & of course the bacon & mushrooms. Well done, I will be back!

The ribeye was good+ the tbone wasn't as good as others I've had. Not really worth the money. They only had extra thick cuts, that don't grill well.

Good food, I guess. But all prepared foods and even lobster tails do not follow their directions they're just wrong. If you follow the prepared foods directions on the package the center will be cold you need to add 10 to 15 minutes and 25° to 50 degrees which is double the time. They pass out a brochure that tells you how to cook lobster tails they say 1 minute per ounce at 450°, if you try that you will ruin your dinner if you go on Google they will double the time to 12 to 15 minutes by then it's too late you can't keep taking Lobster in and out of the oven and testing it and eating it and poking it around. It's a dead, bottom feeder disgusting animal you're going to get turned off if you don't get it right the first time. This is not just a "casual thing". They have pre-cooked dinners like Lasagna which is "350° for 10 to 12 minutes" this is a pretty thick piece of lasagna there's no way in the world it's going to be hot in the middle at that temperature -- you would need to go 375 for half an hour to get this thing hot. I can't tell you why other people are not writing in that's not up to me to figure out, it's not my job. They're obviously more passive. then again I'm not in the food business it's not my job to know. It's there job to know. It goes on and on virtually everything they sell will not be hot with their directions. It's not even warming the food up. I went there again 4-5 months after my first visit and nothing has changed, all the directions are the same they just don't care. Stop giving directions if you don't know what you're doing.

I paid for a jumbo fish😒It was small and thin. I have been disappointed the last few times I have gotten a fish fry. I have pics bit this review site wont let me post. Once a great fan of Palmers just wondering if anyone is overseeing?

Christmas 2025 Dont remember weight but there were 2 pieces in separate bags. I had covis so I couldnt partake my son cooked the other bag so for superbowl I defrosted the 2nd one and this is what I found a USELESS piece of fat and chunks that brought the weight up enough to charge me a premium price! I hae a palmers loyalty account so I'll try and see waht the price per pound was and what the total cost was but I don't even know how I wil prepare this piece of junk meat. Kip talk to your butches about customer service not about waste because this piece should have been written off not sold! I hope this helps the next guy to check their purchase!

Dec 23, no clams, no oysters. This stores selection of seafood has gone down hill for a while. Over priced, mostly frozen poor selection. No gulf shrimp. Boy do we miss the days of the Lobster 🦞 Trap. Just another chapter in the steady decline of Rochester ,NY.
