The river is calm and steady as you enjoy a meal on the roof top or 3rd floor. You can make reservations ahead of time or walk in for lunch or brunch. We ordered shrimp and grits one of their signature dishes and the shrimp po boy. The dishes could have had a little more spice but they were fresh and came out rather quickly. The service was good and allowed for mild disruptions only when necessary. It is a good place for a business meeting or special date.

First time trying The Pump House and it definitely delivered. All of our food selections were delicious. The crab cakes app was a decadent, but light starter and the mac and cheese side had great texture and was very cheesy. The short rib was juicy and tender and the shrimp and grits (a specialty) was rich and flavorful. Our server recommended a couple cocktails that we tried and they were perfect options on a hot evening. While we didn't have much of a view from our table, it's definitely a cool location being on the Catawba.

One of the best restaurants we've eaten at to date. We came for the Queen's Feast and were blown away. Evan was our server. Evan was our server. He was awesome! The food was phenomenal. No joke. Just go eat here.

Before I get into the amazing food, I have to compliment the pleasant and down to earth staff. From the busboy, to our bartender / server Brooke and even the GM Zoe ( hope I spelled that correctly), every one on the staff was enjoyable to be around. Brooke was very personable and well skilled in her cocktail crafting. Our dish was prepared and served in what I would consider record breaking time for a risotto and fillet mignon. The risotto was arguably the best I ever had... especially in knowing I was the last dish the kitchen put out for the day. The fillet was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was classy but relaxed and comforting. I set our reservation for 815 and was sat in perfect time on the patio to share a beautiful sunset with a beautiful lady. In hindsight, my only regret in visiting was not ordering a second plate of seared scallops and risotto to go... also kinda wish they served Old Fashions to go "Covid Style" cough cough 10/10 recommend.

Had the ribeye here and honestly, it was spot-on perfectly cooked, juicy, and the mashed potatoes were basically a warm hug in food form. The sauces tied everything together like a well-rehearsed band. The vibe? Chill but lively, a cool multi-story setup with a view that makes you feel like you stumbled into a hidden gem. The service was great too, attentive without hovering. And then there’s Justin. A stuffed beaver who greets you on the top floor like he owns the place. Didn’t expect to lock eyes with a taxidermy mascot during dinner, but here we are, and I’m not mad about it. 8.5/10, would eat here again (and say hi to Justin).

Thank you to Parker and the rest of the staff for making us feel special for our anniversary dinner and our first time. We sat on the patio and had a great view of the river. The riverwalk mule is the best mule I’ve had in SC and one of the best I’ve ever had. It was refreshing and balanced. The calamari was cooked with care and tasted amazing. It has a slight kick at the end, which enhanced the flavors. The 12oz ribeye was cooked to perfection and had great taste and flavor. I had added the shrimp with it. Shrimp wasn’t cooked the way I liked it, but it wasn’t bad. The lava cake and cheesecake were just heavenly. When our dinner arrived, my spouse asked for no onion. Both had onion. I’d asked for the shrimp, but it was on my spouse’s plate. This did NOT take away from our experience or meal. My spouse put the shrimp on my plate and the onions had breading on them which my spouse likes and therefore didn’t ruin or change anything. For our anniversary Parker says they offer a glass of champagne to toast. We respect that she asked us if this was okay just in case someone was sober! That is true hospitality and genuine caring. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

One of the best experiences with service and food we have had in the area. Perfect for date night or special occasion. Will be back for sure. Loved the history of the building as well

Everything was so good. I never leave reviews and really wanted to for this place. Our waitress Beth did a fantastic job. She was friendly, kind, and genuine. I got the chicken and pasta, my wife got the shrimp and grits. Both were really good. I'm getting the shrimp and grits next time though.

Very unique restaurant with great food. We sat on the 5th floor at a table with a great view of the river. Calamari is the best I’ve had at any restaurant in the charlotte area. That might be personal preference but I’ll stick with that statement , and I’ve had calamari at a lot of places. Scallops were amazing, and so was the macaroni and cheese. Slaw was strong with flavor but paired really nice with the trout . Speaking of great pairing - the old fashioned with peach is a pairing that I wouldn’t have guessed would work so well, but it is incredible. The view at this place is great, and to me the experience of dining in this converted pump house is one of a kind. Definitely a restaurant you should try if you haven’t already

Quick lunch here while on a business trip….stopped on our way back to the airport in Charlotte for lunch and was an amazing building and story! All the history in the building and how they preserved it and added to it to make a nice restaurant was amazing. The story of places like this is what makes them great finds! The service was perfect, the food was all delicious, and the experience was cool. We had lunch on the balcony with glass walls overlooking the river….cool experience, great food, and excellent service. Great find…

Really cool place right on the river. Great food and service. Sweet Tree Brined Chicken Sandwich was legit. Hand cut fries were great. My son loved the French Toast & wife loved her Veggie Omelet.

Had an employer recognition lunch here and it was wonderful! Our service was great, especially our server Travis...he was outstanding! We had the fried okra and fried green tomatoes as appetizers. Both were awesome! I had the pork chops with mashed sweet potatoes. The chops were grilled to perfection! The river view, the chill vibe, and the great food make this one of Rock Hill's finest, if not the best, restaurant in the area south of Charlotte!

Dinner at The Pump House ended up being the best choice when looking for a "Southern Restaurant " with a charm to celebrate the birthday of a special person. The attention of the staff was beyond friendly. Very informative, attentive and willing to go an extra mile just to make sure you are treated well. The food is TOP: nicely served and full of flavor. We will definitely return with friends.

Fantastic service and environment and very good food. A unique dining location worth experiencing. Highly recommended. I am only giving 4 out of 5 stars for food because, at the price point, I would expect the food to wow just a little bit more. In 2024 it was the same great service but with a very slight step down from the outstanding tastes I remembered from 2021. The menu rotates so, looking for that next amazing meal, I'm definitely going to come again when I'm next traveling through the area. Do be aware late at night there may be some months when dining outside (if that will bother you, sit inside during the later hours).

I’ve visited this place 3 times now and each time the staff have been amazing! They are so attentive and friendly. The short rib sandwich is so freaking good! Also I tried the fried chicken sandwich, collard greens (seasonal item) mac&cheese and burger. Honestly the food was a 10/10 highly recommend! ❤️ Only negative thing is that they shouldn’t have made those collard greens seasonal! The cornbread with the sweet butter they bring out before goes so well with them.

Just went for my 50th birthday. We really enjoyed the dinner. Our waiter Zach was great. Our first time. I had the Restaurant week Shrimp, pork chop, and cheesecake. Wife had chicken pasta. Sweet tea and espresso. We also appreciate that there were mostly adults dining tonight. We will definitely be back. I think we would like the fire pit area in warmer months; I will review if/when we do that.

Title: Serene Setting, Fresh Food, and Excellent Service Review: I recently celebrated a colleague's birthday at The Pump House, nestled beautifully along the river in Rock Hill. The ambiance is serene, making it an ideal spot for a late lunch outdoors. The food exceeded expectations; each dish was fresh and bursting with flavor. The crispy fried okra was a delightful starter, crunchy and flavorful. I can't recommend the sweet tea fried chicken sandwich enough—it's a must-try. What truly stood out was the impeccable service. Our waitress, Jade, went above and beyond, offering fantastic recommendations for appetizers, mains, sides, and drinks. We were even treated to a champagne toast for the birthday celebration. To cap off the perfect outing, we relaxed on the scenic rooftop bar, enjoying the picturesque views. Overall, The Pump House is highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in a beautiful setting.

Food, service, and views all amazing! Came for my birthday brunch and the bottomless mimosas for 16 dollars I believe was crazy! They kept our mimosas filled and the food was to die for. Calamari, beet salad, and truffle fries!!!

Our experience at The Pump House was amazing. It was our first time there and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Johnny, our server, was excellent! He knew the menu and couldn’t have been more helpful in making this a more perfect dining experience. We will be back!

Update: Still amazing!! 😊 Excellent! The atmosphere was calm and the seating for river views was plentiful. Our waitress was knowledgeable, kind and attentive. We appreciated that! The food was delightful (shrimp and grits/steak and eggs), with portions just right. What a wonderful way to celebrate our 18-year engagement anniversary💍!

Really nice place on the Catawba river in South Carolina. The atmosphere was very pleasant, enjoyed seating on the back patio deck, overlooking the river. The staff and service are excellent and very attentive. Truly enjoyed the great food, which is eye appealing and flavorful! The entree menu changes as the chef presents a differing variety of creative dishes at varying times. I highly recommend a visit, for a nice dinner with family and friends.

We came to NC from NY to see my dearest friends...they suggested this restaurant because they love it..and to be totally honest...it was fantastic, delicious and wow excellent. Parker our server was great, the entire wait staff were great...we had drinks, non alcoholic drinks and appetizers plus our dinner. No one in our party of 5 people complained about the food or the drinks. We sat in the outside patio area, heating lamps were on and the view is outstanding. The building is amazing and the history behind it is amusing to read about.

Dined with another couple on the 4th floor. Travis was an excellent server. Manager checked on us as well. Generous restaurant week menu for $50/pp. delicious selections. Cheesecake could have had the drizzle right before serving, rather than prepped in advance. But still, great drinks, great food, great service.

I have eaten here more than a few times as well as going to their wine dinners they have every few months. Jade has gone far and beyond the service required. She is very accommodating along with everyone else. Bekah the bartender is also fantastic. Shes knowledgeable in her drink suggestions as well as dinner suggestions. I will continue to keep returning. (Pictures of food are multiple visits)

Awesome dining experience!! We dined on the rooftop for my birthday and the food was delicious and the service was amazing!! Johnny was very attentive, personable and one of the best waiters I’ve ever had. The ambiance was great, the host was friendly and just an overall awesome dining experience.

My experience here was nothing short of exceptional. I ordered the steak and eggs from the brunch menu, and it delivered on every front flavor, presentation, and satisfaction. The steak was perfectly cooked, the eggs just right, and the whole plate felt like comfort with class. What truly elevated the visit was the service. Our server wasn’t just attentive they had top-tier conversational skills that made the meal feel personal, not transactional. It’s rare to find someone who can read the room and still bring warmth and ease to the table. And the view? Pure peace. On this beautiful Sunday afternoon, it was exactly what I needed a quiet moment, good food, and a setting that reminded me to breathe a little deeper. Highly recommend for anyone looking to reset with quality and care.

We happened to be passing through Rick Hill and randomly found a place to eat. So glad we found this place. We came in after the lunch rush. London was our server and she was amazing. She took her time to explain everything. And she was genuinely curious about our thoughts on the food. Good and bad. We started iff with the fried green tomatoes with oimento cheese. The tomaotes were actually seasoned before being breaded. That makes all the difference in the dish. They were so god. We orderd the sweet tea brined chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken was absolute perfection. Don't let the sweet tea brine fool you. You get an essence of it on your tongue while breathing in. Bliss. We decided to get a bowl of the parsnip and apple seasonal soup. It was too sweet for my liking. My wife enjoyed it. I orderd the steak burger with the pimento cheese, caroina slaw and pablano ranch all on the side. I also ordered a salad as my side. The slaw really didn't taste "carlina" to me, but it was crisp and tasty. We sat outside and enjoyed the cooler weather. They had the heaters going. We really enjoyed ourselves. 10/10 We will definitely be back.

Great restaurant overlooking the Catawba River. The food is priced in the moderate range but is very high quality. Everything that I have ever had from here has been fantastic! They have a full bar with beer, wine and cocktails. They have 12 taps with ALL local (NC/SC) beers on them. Obviously, the big draw is the atmosphere and astonishing views of the Catawba River. This place is great for special date nights or out with friends without breaking the bank. Cheers!

The food was so good. We had the pork chop and the seafood gumbo and a side of the delicious mashed potatoes. They give you cornbread and it was also delicious. The 5th floor has a great view of the river and a very nice bar, the space just has a great feel to it. We will be back next time we are traveling through Rock Hill.

**5-Star Family New Year's Eve Celebration at The PumpHouse!** My wife, our 7-year-old son, and I decided to try The PumpHouse for the first time on New Year's Eve, and it turned out to be one of our best dining experiences yet—perfect for a special family outing with a touch of elegance. We started with crab claws and Oysters Rockefeller and a whipped burrata salad—all were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The crab was sweet and meaty, and the oysters had that perfect rich, spinach-topped decadence. For mains, my Wife and I went with the Filet Oscar, which was cooked to absolute perfection: tender, juicy filet mignon topped with luscious crab and hollandaise that had us savoring every bite. My son opted for the lobster ravioli, and it was outstanding—delicate pasta with rich lobster tails on top, swimming in a creamy sauce that was pure comfort food elevated. We paired everything with some delicious adult beverages. I had a mezcal cocktail that was smoky, balanced, and incredibly smooth, while my wife loved her martini—both were expertly crafted and hit the spot perfectly. Our server, Zach, was phenomenal. Attentive without being overbearing, he made great recommendations, kept things moving smoothly even on a busy holiday night, and was especially kind and patient with our young son. He brought my son some cornbread for a snack while he waited on his food and it was AMAZING. He made the whole evening feel welcoming and fun for the whole family. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable—great for ringing in the new year without being too stuffy. We'll definitely be back, and highly recommend The PumpHouse for anyone looking for excellent seafood, steaks, cocktails, and top-notch service. Five stars from all three of us! 🎉🦀🥂

My first time there and a friend found the location to try. It was the best place we discovered. The view from the roof top was awesome. And the food was amazing! We tried the fried green tomatoes and it was the best I’ve ever tried. We also ordered fried okra. They were also delicious! The beverages were delicious. I can’t remember the name of the one I tried. But it had a citrus taste. I ordered the shrimp and grits. Also an amazing dish! I hope to try it again when in the Rockhill Area!

Pump House is a chill restaurant and bar off the Catawba with views of the water and multiple floors with seating and bars. It is really nice in summer to eat by the water outside upstairs or dine in the A/C with friends and family. They change the menu every so often so if you find a favorite beverage or food item, go hard or go home. Pricing is typical for this area and type of establishment, think Charlotte. Not sure if there is a kids menu but the apps are a decent size to share and drinks are not served to the brim. I give them credit for creativity and ambiance and service. The fried okra was fire! I might go back for an entrée when I have more time.

Awesome atmosphere and the customer service was great. They were knowledgeable of their menu to offer suggestions. The food was flavorful for the most part. We had the Black and Bleu appetizer. I had the short ribs and my husband had the stuffed trout. He said his was not flavorful. My short ribs were tender and rich! So good! The appetizer had so many flavors within it.

The Pump House is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a wonderful atmosphere that perfectly blends charm and relaxation. The highlight, without a doubt, is the stunning view of the river, which adds a serene and picturesque touch to the experience. Whether you’re enjoying a casual meal or a special occasion, the ambiance sets the perfect tone. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the attention to detail in both the food and setting was impeccable. If you’re looking for a place to unwind with great company and even better views, the Pump House is a must-visit!”

𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰: 𝐏𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 - 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥, 𝐒𝐂 --- I really liked the thought that went into the building layout, design, and different spaces, including private dining space for events, 2 levels of dining areas, indoor and outdoor bards, and a fire pit. The dining areas were an open space ambiance where you don't really feel you are in a packed restaurant, but rather a cozy place to meet friends, family, business colleagues, and take your date. It was refreshing to be able to have a nice conversation without having to speak loudly because the noise level drowns you out. --- **Wait Staff:** Our waitress was personable and friendly, offering valuable insights into the dishes. However, I did find that our drinks went unattended for too long. We would have enjoyed significantly more cocktails had she maintained closer attention to our table. I prefer not to have to flag down staff for cocktail refills. --- We began with the Deviled Eggs and Fried Okra. The Fried Okra was excellent, showcasing that well-executed deep frying can enhance the dish. The Deviled Eggs, a classic favorite, delivered on both flavor and creamy texture. The presentation was good overall, though the crispy country ham seemed out of place—it appeared to be hastily added and had a somewhat stale texture. Additionally, the sweet pepper jam seemed either too subtle or missing. Despite these minor issues, the eggs themselves were well-executed and worth recommending. --- We had three entrees for our main courses: Iceberg Wedge Salad with Grilled Salmon: The salmon's flavors were outstanding, achieving a perfect balance that complemented the fish without overpowering it. However, the cooking temperature of the salmon was disappointing. I told my family member to order it at the chef's choice of internal temperature because, usually, the chef knows best. While I usually trust chefs to cook fish to the appropriate temperature, this particular piece was slightly dry and served lukewarm. I recommend specifying your preferred temperature when ordering. Despite this, the dish remains worth trying for its excellent flavor. --- Filet with Roasted Garlic Yukon Mash: This dish showcased an exceptional flavor profile, with the steak cooked to the perfect temperature. The Yukon potato mash was a superb complement. However, the Tabasco onions, while intended as a garnish, detracted from the overall presentation. I suggest either reducing the amount of onions or placing them on the side to better highlight the steak and potatoes. The portion size was generous, making it an overall impressive dish. --- 2-Day Brined Bone-In Pork Chop: The pork chop itself was satisfactory, but the Bourbon Apple Glaze did not deliver as expected. To improve, I would recommend serving the glaze in a small ramekin on the side, allowing guests to add it as desired. The grilled peach was exceptional, offering a standout flavor. However, the sweet potato mash was disappointing—presented as a minimal smear on the plate, which was insufficient to enjoy. The onions, again, overshadowed the main ingredients. I would consider trying the dish again with a side of glaze and a more substantial serving of mash. --- While the restaurant features some of the original pump house equipment on display outside, I believe there is an opportunity to enhance its marketing efforts by more effectively integrating the building's historical narrative into its website and social media channels. Even maybe having a storyboard as you walk in of old black and whites of what the building was like before. Emphasizing the historical significance of the site and how its legacy is preserved can significantly enhance its appeal, particularly for travelers who are drawn to locations with rich histories. --- In conclusion, the evening was truly exceptional. Overall, the food was great; maybe just some tweaks to make it better.

Awesome place with rooftop seating besides the rest of the areas, large and clean restaurant. Our server was Kat, she was awesome, a California girl with an East Coast mentality. The food was very good, and the place has a very good view 👌 we all enjoyed the food .

Beautiful views and great service. I experienced the Pump House during their Mother’s Day Brunch. For the 3 course menu I had the Carolina Greens, lobster omelette and salted caramel chocolate torte. The salad was great but the omelette was terrible. The eggs were dry and overcooked. The lobster had no flavor. I’m not a picky eater at all, but I couldn’t stomach it. Judging by the dark color, the potatoes should have been crispy on the outside but were likely sitting for a long time and were soggy and bland. The dessert was very sweet (store bought frosting vibes) and lacked overall quality. The fried tomatoes were outstanding! The steak and eggs were pretty good. The service was excellent. Despite the other entree issues, I would return to give it another chance during a regular day. You can’t beat the location!

10/27 update: Went back for dinner and had a great experience. We ordered the following: Fried calamari Pork chop with roasted Brussels sprouts Seared jumbo scallops Banana pudding cheesecake Everything was delicious and our server was very polite and professional. He was also very knowledgeable about the menu and shared his favorites with us. The General Manager came by to check how things were going during our meal. Our only complaint was that the hostess on the first floor was not friendly or professional when we checked in. She was clearly annoyed about the floor plan and where servers were assigned and we stood there awkwardly while she was on her headset talking to someone upstairs. Original: Went for lunch. Service was friendly and professional. When you’re seated, they bring warm cornbread to your table with a soft butter spread that has a hint of peach. It’s so good. We ate it before I could get a photo. The kids menu offered more options than usual and includes a drink and dessert. As a chicken tender connoisseur, my 9yo said their chicken tenders are among the best he’s ever had. The cornmeal crust was light and crispy, well seasoned, and the chicken was very tender (not stringy - his words). I got a blackened tenderloin Cobb salad. The server said the pieces would be cooked medium but they came out very rare. I had to send them back to be cooked more. Our server was prompt in handling this issue. My husband got the Pump House burger. He said it was good but he should’ve asked about the slaw on it. It was a vinegar-based slaw, not mayonnaise, and he felt the vinegar was overwhelming. It came with truffle fries as one of the options, which were delicious.

Wonderful view of the river! Nice comfortable atmosphere. The staff was so pleasant. This was our first time visiting. We chose The Pump House because we had a couple in our Attractions Dining and Value Guide. The fried green tomatoes were highly recommended by a couple sitting nearby. However, since my friend doesn’t eat them, we opted for fried okra and crab cakes. The okra was okay once we added a little salt. I didn’t like them with the dip but my friend did. Neither of us were a fan of the crab cakes. The texture was off. We figured they would be lumpy. Instead, they were more mushy. I had Seared Salmon with succotash for my meal. DELICIOUS!! The salmon was seasoned and cooked beautifully and the succotash was a perfect accompaniment. My friend had pork chop with mashed potatoes. She really enjoyed them both. If I had to criticize anything it would be not receiving refills in a timely fashion. My glass was empty twice. Our server also entered the wrong appetizer and we had to wait a little longer for it. It wasn’t a big deal because they were really good about correcting it. It is a bit pricey for what you get. However, I think it’s definitely worth trying at least once.

The appetizers were just okay. The fried green tomatoes should have been fried with panko for the much needed crunch. The deviled eggs were bland and need some zip. The trout was just okay. The shrimp and grits were awesome. Sitting on the 5th floor with a great view of the river was the saving grace for this place. We’ll be back to try something different.

1st time here and it was a very interesting experience. We were taken to the 5th floor and seated next to the window. My Wife had the Salmon with vegetables and I had the chicken sandwich. She loved her Salmon plate and my chicken plate sandwich was well prepared and the views were great. I dislike being served at a table by a bartender. He took our order and that was the last time he came by. Empty glasses and I had to ask him for the bill. You just can't have a bartender pull double duty, especially when there was ample help available. Not his fault.

Came here for lunch Friday and got here right at 12:00. The restaurant was less than 50% filled at that time because it was quite warm and nobody really wanted to sit out on the deck. We sat down, promptly at our waters filled and our orders taken. we had let the waitress know that we needed our food quicker than normal because I had to catch a flight. Appetizers had arrived and they were all delicious, especially the fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs. We started noticing the restaurant started to get more busy and as such reminded the waitress of our timing. Unfortunately we did not get our food quick enough and I had to take my sandwich to go. When I got it to the car I noticed my sandwich didn't even have the fries that came along with it. However everything did look very good. The place did have a cool vibe to it with a rich history but I didn't really get to enjoy it as I was rushed the whole time. Hopefully others will have a better experience.

The food was good, but I wouldn’t say excellent. The Filet mignon was good But the garlic butter, kind of overpowered the Flavor of the steak. The broccolini was a little hard I like vegetables a little on the al dente side, but this was a little too hard…. The roasted potatoes were tasty, but a little overdone. . Our drinks were very good. My sister had a non-alcoholic hot drink that she said was very delicious. The wedge salad I ate was very good. Overall, a little high priced for the food. The Wait staff were really excellent. The meals came out from the kitchen hot and we’re served immediately.. Our waitress Brooke was fabulous, She was bubbly, happy smiley obviously glad to be working there. Overall, I would give the Pump House 4.6 But Google only allows a 4 or 5 stars, so since we didn’t think it was worth a 5, they got a 4. Sorry, unfortunately I forgot pictures We ate inside and the atmosphere was nice. It was a little noisy before we left, but we could still talk easily..

The food was pretty good. Crabcakes were the best. Our server, Jen, was terrific. Salmon was not very flavorful, so that was disappointing for the price. Highly recommend the walnut whiskey sour. Cool place overall.

I've been wanting to go to the Pump House for a long. I was disappointed. Service was so so even though there was not a lot of people there Service was slow. The shrimp and grits was to salty. Our other meals were just warm. I will have to say the calamari was very good. I like to give a place a second chance, but I don't think I will revisit here.

I'd like to start off by saying the atmosphere was amazing. The riverfront view was excellent, and the dining room is beautiful. The staff are nice, but the service is not what I would call outstanding, and the food that my family got was very good. However, that is where the good things end. I had an issue with my steak (which was $70 by the way, so I had high expectations for it) I ordered it medium rare, and it came out well undercooked. When I told my server about it, she sent it back to the kitchen, and I was brought back the same steak (that was cut up) and not any more cooked than what it had been. I've attached the photo of the steak that they placed in front of me - which was now cut up and STILL undercooked. This is utterly unacceptable for a $70 steak. They gave us a free desert at compensation, but the way they handled the undercooked food was extremely poor.

H
Heather Kagey

I ordered a filet mignon, roasted potatoes, and broccolini. The steak was supposed to be medium, but was overcooked. The flavor of the steak was awful. I had to send it back; I couldn't eat it. I've never had this experience with steak before. The roasted potatoes had a nice flavor, but the pieces were small, there was very little of it, and it did not seem fresh. My husband got the fried ribeye. He said it was good, but Texas Roadhouse is just as good. The steak at Texas Roadhouse is definitely better than what I had at The Pump House. We were seated on the 5th floor. The view was nice, but we were next to the bar which was not pleasant. I did not care for the chairs and tables and the tables were too close together. The steak at Epic Chophouse is a lot better and for the price, it is a better choice. The manager and server apologized and they gave me my money back. A date is not as nice when only one person is eating the meal. I do not plan to return to The Pump House again.

H
Heather Putman

I hate to leave such a negative review, however I have now had two very horrible experiences at this establishment. The first time was over the summer when I ordered scallops that were gritty and full of sand. When I took a trip to the bathroom I was unpleasantly suprised by blood and tampons on the floor. This made me sick to my stomach. A few weeks ago I made the mistake of coming back for brunch. I was presented with a hair baked into my biscuit. This is the picture attached. Management apologized and comped my plate only. My husband ordered a dish with poached eggs. Not one egg was poached. I guess they overcooked the eggs because they were busy perfecting their hair biscuits. Please don’t go here.
