I can't say a single bad thing about this place! Bea, Tasha and Nicole plus the rest of the stuff always keep this place packed with bands, djs, events and the drinks are always cold! This is a must stop when you are visiting Rockport and want a cold beer! Plus their food truck has some great food!

Best bar around, excellent service bartenders are quick and remember your drink. Food trucks outside make it easy to get a bite too eat and they allow you too eat inside there bar. Top notch security they watch out and pay attention. Bathrooms are always clean and the live music is always great performers. They have Pool tables and a lot of seating for all. For the smokers this place allows smoking inside but the ventilation system in here is outstanding for the non smokers , you can't even tell people are smoking. Don't cross the bridge to corpus Christi everything you need is here in Rockport Texas.

My significant other and I where humbled by the friendly atmosphere. We made friends 5 mins after walking through the door. Marvelous service, dog friendly, great live music and they make one dangerously tasty bloody-marry. Add it to you list of places to visit and plan to stay all night =)

Awesome bar, just had their 1 yr anniversary at end of April, 2019. 2 rooms, 1 bar room and happy hour singing, other is larger groups/billiards room with tight, very good shape tables and good local competition. Some nights are karaoke. Good drink prices and happy hour as well.

I called and asked if having my dog on the patio was fine. They let your dogs inside and gave her a water bowl. Thank you so much Rock Bottom Park & Pub for allowing me to wind down with my pup. I will definitely be back ❤️

5 Star Dive Bar... I was visiting Rockport for a few weeks. Rock Bottom is the best local bar and they welcome tourists. Manager and Bartenders are really fun and outgoing. Great drinks & live entertainment. Dog friendly too. Gypsy and I had a great time.

The live music and local crowd blew my mind. Living in Austin I have seen my share of live music and this cover band playing the night I was there has to be in a league of their own. I would make the drive out there just to hang out with the mellow local crowd and hear these guys blow the roof off! I hope they play there often. Bartenders are at the top of their game as well! Went to Rockport this weekend just to get away. Found this bar after dinner, music was good, bartenders were awesome and the crowd was friendly. My boyfriend lost his wallet (he thought he dropped it outside the restaurant we had gone to before the bar). We figured it was gone forever until we went back to the Rock bottom bar the next night. One of the bartenders, Savannah, saw us and said, “I have your wallet”. We were so happy, the cash and cards were still in the wallet! This says a lot about this town and the people in it! We will definitely be back!! Thanks again, Savannah and the person who turned in the wallet!

Rockbottoms is a great place to get away from your problems and to meet new people. Plus they have a food trailer outside that serves up some yummy food. The employees are pleasant and inviting, if you have an issue they are willing to do what they can to help. You can usually find the owner close by mingling with the customers.

By far my favorite place to visit when I’m in town. The drinks are well made, the entertainment is fun, and the staff is amazing! Definitely a place you feel like a regular when you come in. HIGHLY recommend if you’re visiting the area!

If you have a dog and want a good bite and cold beer this is the place to come. The burgers are big and fantastic. The fries were fresh made and delicious. You can really tell the chef takes great pride in his work and the service was great. We were visiting for the week but we'll never forget this place.

I don't drink beer but it looked like they had some small brew brands in addition to the usuals. They have pool tables and an outdoor area, too. Definitely check out this great spot when you're downtown. Or make plans to show up for a night out with friends.

I can’t express enough how awesome this place is. Before hurricane Harvey I lived in Rockport and the owner was one of my usual bartenders at another location. After Harvey it was amazing to see the healing and how much everyone came together to rebuild the town and try to exceed the sadness of loss. Rock Bottom is a symbol of what falls down can be built even better and a place where locals and tourists can enjoy drinks, food, games, and great conversation. Def a must visit location in Rockport!!!

This bar is a very nice place to come have a drink, meet friends, and play pool or listen to music. Bartenders are very polite and friendly and make good drinks. It’s not fancy but just a good bar to come have a drink and chat with the people that come in and have a good time.

Great and friendly staff. Nice selection of beer on tap and bottles, along with liquor selection. Two great stage areas. Multiple pool tables and electronics to keep you busy. Great outdoor area for relaxing and the occasional outdoor activities that the bar owners have for benefits, celebrations, and special events.

Awesome place on Tuesday afternoon! $2 craft beers. Includes yellow rose ipa. Nueces ipa, crackberry cider, bombshell blonde... The place is packed with people playing board games and more at 3pm on a Tuesday. Come here and enjoy!

Cozy fun spot for live music and drinks. The bar is located in what I would call “the strip” area of Rockport near the entertainment district. There’s a large outdoor area on the side of the indoor section that has both covered and non covered spaces. Happened to pop in for a quick drink at the right time and got to meet the “famous” Baby Girl. She’s super sweet and likes to be dressed up. The next day, I saw her riding on a motorcycle with her dad. She’s adorable! Be safe, Baby Girl.

Great daytime bar. Bartender Nicole brightens your day wiyh consistent smile and personality. I've heard nights can get a little rough.

Enjoyed stopping by here on shopping days. Had a so-so Bloody Mary. I should have ordered it with low salt or no salt. The next afternoon, we stopped at this friendly spot again. The locals were so fun and friendly, five big TV's to watch a range of shows. My hubs inadvertently ordered me a Bloody Mary while I was in the clean, cutely decorated restroom, and this one was perfect. Relaxed fun atmosphere, pool tables, happy hours, perfect location.

If I go to a bar in Rockport, this is my first pick. It's pretty laid back and mostly locals who are there to do their thing. There is plenty of friendly bar staff, and they serve up the drinks quickly. There is one guy that has a scowl on his face and isn't very talkative for bar staff, but he served the order just as quickly and I wasn't there to form a lasting friendship with the dude so it was mutual and I still enjoyed the place.

Fun place to come hang out with friends and listen to live music but it can get very very packed. Drinks might seem a bit pricey at first but I promise the drinks are strong enough to make it worth it. Bartenders are super nice and everyone is friendly.

We went during the day to play pool. Two pool tables several large tv"s ,board games, few video games, lots of nice seating, friendly service. There was a stage and live music at night, probably weekends. No food served but there was popcorn to snack on. Very clean and spacey.

The bartenders were amazing. They were quick and very friendly. I love the beer options and they have a nice atmosphere. They do not offer food but the restaurant next door will bring it over to the bar it you want to stay there.

My experience only includes Sunday afternoons live music and happy hours. The service from Nicole and (I have forgotten other girl's name) was terrific! Drinks and food was reasonable. The single guitarist/vocalist were pretty good boths times we went. Yes, we did dance, as did others, and it was fun.

Nice atmosphere for a neighborhood pub. Good selection of craft beer on tap. Tuesday and Wednesday are the best days for drink specials. My only complaint is that pricing is not consistent among the different bartenders.

Rock Bottom is Adjacent to the Boil House restaurant. They had a guitarist singing. Ambiance is good. The bar area is small so getting a seat to see the singer was full at 5:30 pm. In the next room adjacent to the bar area, there are pool tables and dining tables. Since a wall divides the two rooms, you can’t see into the bar area where the entertainment is located. Minus one star for that. They should have no wall or if load bearing, a half wall or something that allows you to view the bar area so you can flag down a waiter as your kinda outta sight/ outta mind. Plus you could see to enjoy the live music. Will go back for sure.

This is a no frills bar with 4.25 drafts and a ‘grizzled’ and ‘weathered’ clientele. Has that smoky bar atmosphere so not for kids and they do not serve food. Had some nice conversations with the tourists . The staff was nice . Pretty much everyone was drunk but that was probably because of the 46-9 detroit thrashing of the cowboys.

So. Had an extremely good time there yesterday. Only downside was while leaving one of the bouncers there was getting into a verbal altercation with another individual in front. Either way not my problem. What I really had a problem with was the amount of racial slurs coming from the gentleman working the doors mouth. As an individual of color I found it highly offensive. Especially when from what I heard from the other gentleman nothing racial was forthcoming. Would have given more stars because bartenders were awesome. Except that last incident

Typical bar atmosphere. Most of the patrons are local and are there daily. They do have a decent food truck if your hungry. One of the best burgers in town. Staff is nice.

Squirrel is an amazing sweet bartender. Very friendly efficient and informative of the area. Arieal came on shift next and is friendly and efficient however there is a brownish blond long hair chic who can’t stay off FaceTime on her damn phone while waiting on customers. Also very unfriendly with those who are not locals. (Her name is Liz) That’s why the 3. Another plus….beers were very cold!!

Has a 30s age group. Very nice people and staff were very nice and attentive to customers. But don't like the smell of smoke. Customers were nice. Lots of pool tables.and things to do for customer service.

Walked in with my wife and son expecting something less like a standard bar. The "park" was pretty much an empty lot for people to smoke, so not much for kids to do. The interior was basically a standard bar with regulars. No one greeted us, we walked around and didn't see a menu for anything, food or drinks. We ended up leaving. I'll try again one day. I'm not saying it is bad, but it wasn't exactly inviting for a family.

It's a nice place with good atmosphere, except for the fact that smoking is allowed in the building. The band was to start at 8pm and it was 9pm with still no music. Couldn't take the smoke anymore. Had to get out. I feel like I lost a few years of my life those couple hours.

Great place. Too bad they’re stuck in the 1990’s. News flash. No one smokes cigarettes anymore. Went for 20 minutes. Ended up smelling like we spent 5 hours in a smoking only pub. Brutal. Catch up with the times. Absolutely disgusting.

I was highly disappointed with the service. We walked in and after a 15 minute wait I walked over to the bar to order, since we were being ignored. The rocks margarita we ordered came with an extra topping "Flie 🪰swimming in it" I was actually excited for the bloody marie I saw online but all add-ons are ala carte which would of came to about $30+tax. Bartenders were more interested in their regulars than anyone walking in. BTW to order food you have to text the# listed. I wouldn't recommend it if you come to rockport.

This place is apparently only for locals, and not the nice ones. After checking out the beach and buying a couple gifts from the shops, we decided we wanted a beer. Rock Bottom is conveniently located near all the tourism, but don't be fooled. You will not be welcome there. As soon as we walked in, we got dirty looks from everyone. It was extremely unnerving. If you just hopped off the oil rig without showering, you might just fit in. We ended up leaving without getting drinks. Side note heads up, the cigarette smoke inside is crazy thick. I can deal with some places with indoor smoking, but it was severe.

The bartenders were horrible. Not friendly nor were they accommodating. I guess when paying for the drinks we had an extra charge for provided pretention and disdain. Definitely will never return.

When you see all the photos of food, you expect the place to have food. They dont.

I honestly hate leaving bad reviews, but this place deserves it. Rock Bottom was one of the worst bar experiences I’ve had. Horrible service, rude staff, and the drinks were weak and overpriced. The vibe felt hostile and unwelcoming from the moment we walked in. The bouncers made it feel uncomfortable and targeted, and the whole situation felt unfair and unprofessional. Definitely not a place I’d ever recommend. There are way better spots in this city. Save your money and your time.

Tried calling ahead of time to confirm the hours, but they didn’t answer the phone after trying at least 10 times. Decided to make the drive over but the photos on Google are misleading… they DO NOT serve food. Unless you just want a basic dive bar that only serves drinks, don’t waste your time.
