So the good thing about this place is the service. They were very friendly staff who seemed patient and willing to help. The food was ok but in my personal opinion, I don't think they stick out very much. El arroz con gandules did lack a bit of flavor. The cheeseburger empanada was ok. My first thought was definitely not that it tasted like a cheeseburger. Nonetheless it wasn't a horrible empanada. I got a bowl of food which consisted of arroz con gandules, beef, platanos & macaroni & cheese. I did really enjoy the mac&cheese & platanos. For the bowl of food, 1 cheeseburger empanada and a bottled drink the total came out to be 17 & change. But keep in mind the price is based on the protein you pick... I believe. My sister got shrimp instead of beef and it did come out to $20. They also offered me sauce. I ended up trying all 3. The employee was kind enough to explain to me which one was which. One was mayo ketchup, the other mild and the green was "spicy". Which, personally, I did not find the one that was categorized as spicy to be spicy but everybody has different tolerance.

I have been going to this place for a long time. The last two times was extremely disappointing. Last time they charged me for the wrong amount and lie to me about correcting it. This time they charge a 4% service charge and then they want 75 cents for additional source. And expected a tip on top of that. Here is your tip greed is bad for business! The food is diffinately not as good as it use to be. This is the last time I'm going here, alot more options at $15 an order.

Staff was very kind and environment is as expected, however, the food was more on the salty And the appearance looks like it was sitting there for a while and did not look fresh.

Pretty expensive Just on regular order I added 2 slice of cucumber I got $3 extra just 2 slices Frankly they didn’t inform me I got inform at checkout when I see bill went 4 extra

The crispy fried chicken at 6:30pm is a no go. It’s overly salty and some parts of the chicken was so hard that you couldn’t bite into it. I am not sure if there will be a difference coming in the morning. $15 for a plate is way too expensive. I usually pay $5-$7 at different Spanish food spots. So I don’t see myself coming back. The veggies suck also. They taste bland and they put it on top of the crispy fried chicken which made the fried chicken a little soggy in some parts where they put the veggies on

This photo doesn't even show how little food we got. This was my second time going here and I'm never going back. The serving size was horrible and the service was even worse. The lady that works in there had an attitude towards my mom for no reason at all. My mom would ask question regarding the food as it was her first time eating here and the worker would just stare at her blankly clearly having an attitude before answering. She barely gave us any rice and EVERY SINGLE TIME I had to ask for more. When I asked for sauce she gave me 3 small containers then when I asked for more since three people would be eating she gave me another SINGULAR sauce. How stingy can you be??? Not to mention how outrageous these prices were... $47 for 3 FIXED sizes of food.Personally, I don't care how good the food is. If you give me bad service I will never eat at your restaurant again. Do not go here unless you want bad service from a woman with an attitude presumably for no reason, stingy portions and overpriced food.

I found this restaurant on social media and I was excited to try them out. I was expecting to enjoy authentic Dominican cuisine, but I was disappointed. The food didn’t capture the true flavors of Dominican cooking. The dishes lacked the rich seasoning and depth of flavor that I associate with traditional Dominican food. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations for an authentic dining experience. My burrito 🌯 was missing the avocado 🙄 which I was charged for. The morisoñando tested awful and the chinola juice does even taste like chinola.

For almost $30 u get a small thigh and drum of chicken with a full amount of rice. What a waste of my hard earned money. Thanks and never again.
