I usually come around noon time to buy for lunch or dinner and never had any problems with my order or with the staff. Food is alright. It has gotten pricy so I don't come here much nowadays. I substitute the mac salad for extra rice instead sometimes. Big parking lot, but fills up quick close by. The Target area parking is bigger and not too far of a walk away.

The food was tasty. I Did not wait too long to get it. The server was nice and patient while she waited for me to figure out what I wanted to order.

The young woman behind the counter was so sweet! I was welcomed instantly with a warm smile as soon as I opened the door. My order was quickly prepared while also fresh, I am highly impressed and will definitely be back to visit.

This place served one of the finest grills I’ve had for a while in LA. These guys are SO underrated. They do serve plenty of meat and sides at a very competitive price. Can’t beat that. Keep up the good work Ono!

First time trying this place after seeing a few of them driving around. Ordered the Hawaiian mix BBQ. A LOT of meat..chicken, rib eye, and Korean ribs..tender and perfectly seasoned, not too sweet. Could easily be shared for 2 people. For $15 a pretty good value. Came with big scoop of rice, veggies and macaroni salad...I was really full when I walked out.

The food comes out as I expected, portion and quality. The wait times are usually 15min so I run other errands after ordering. Prices are reasonable for the area. But overall, it's been a decent experience ordering from here and I will be coming back monthly as usual.

Excellent food. I don't know how the meat is cooked, but it's really good. Of your not much of an eater, go for the smaller portions. I'm 5'11", 265 lbs. and I can't finish their plates. But it's always good for leftovers.

Food was decent. Parking here is tight since they share with all other food spots. Pricing not bad if you want a combo with Rice

Restrooms are a bit dirty, there’s a table in front of the register so people form a line where they can (so make sure you’re behind someone in line, not someone else waiting). Food is awesome.

Took a little longer to get our order on Saturday lunch time. But the big portion offset the long wait time….should have ordered mini.

No flavor. I've been to other branches and food tasted so much better than here. Must not be following corporate recipe very well.

So this is like the 3th time they mess up my order I'm very clear about what I want I order from ""candy ""what I wanted she repeated but when I got home and open my food there was no Vegs and I did want them. The cash registers people need to be retrain on how they in put the order..... IF THIS keep happening I'm just going to go somewhere else

I've been raised on Japanese/Hawaiian food and am VERY picky about it. You don't expect the greatest meal from a chain place like Ono or L&L, so as long as you don't have your hopes too high, this place can't disappoint. So with plenty of skepticism, I ordered a combo of katsu and some spicy chicken dish. It wasn't bad. The katsu was bland, but since you're supposed to dip it/slather it in the katsu sauce, it makes up for it. As a fan of white rice, I appreciated there was plenty of it. You can do worse than Ono, but in that shopping center, more often than not, I'd select some other restaurant.

BETTER LISTEN FOR YOUR NUMBER! OR ELSE! I heard my number called as I was in the bathroom and came our to see someone else took my food. You would figure they'd check receipts but, who knows! Luckily, I had only ordered spam musubi and it was fast to remake. I would've started a riot had they given my entire entree to someone else. Fortunately, the process didn't take too long, so everyone's heads were left intact!

Deceptive advertising. Where is my house dressing? A drip, compare my salad to the picture perfect advertising photo. If not deceptive then must be bait and switch. And if you were to ask for more dressing they will charge you $0.50. Every time not just once. Salad - dressing = veggie. Great place to pay for salad and get veggie.

Ordered side items and didn't receive them despite them highlighting them . Careless cashiers.

What a jip. I got charged 1.50 more for the beef for a very small portion. We have been going there for years. So sad the service and portions have gone down. I will have to eat something else tonight.

I had an allergic reaction from the food even tho i order a spam musubi with beef i had an allergic reaction not sure if they were cooking near anything shellfish or like shrimp because that’s the only food allergy i have. most likely didn’t use clean dishes to cook beef. Also waited 40 minutes for two spam musubi that’s it. Restaurant was not busy at all. Ridiculous and when asked to check for food they had lost the order ticket or something and offered us a free drink for waiting so long…should’ve just asked for a refund and left.

Normally I review about the whole experience including the quality of the food but I couldn't help but give a one star for such a bad and careless experience given here. Phoned in an order for pickup and arrived 10 mins later during my lunch break. Paid and waited. And waited and waited. Seen customers come and go and the cashier that charged me didn't even bother to check up on my order. 20 minutes pass and I asked about it and she proceeds to act like she didn't see me there waiting after she charged me for the food. My food had been there waiting for a while apparently and she just carelessly gave it to me, turned around and walked away. No apologies or anything for taking up most of my lunch break waiting for my already ready to go order. Food was not bad but the service is definitely trash.

I've walks out of this place 3 times already. The people work here just simple lazy and their eyes looks so dead. No smile. Wait in line having my credit card ready to place order. Two cashier, one is doing nothing (not sure why) and the other is on the phone taking an order. I'm waiting in line have my credit card ready to place order once the person in front of me is done but she just walk away and ignore me completely. There use to be a Korean girl work here, she so friendly to all the customers that walk-in this place and when you leaving she said "Thank you and have a wonderful day"

I was try to a phone order on 8-2-21. They kept on hanging up. I called 6 times. I walked to order my food, I ask the girl are you still taking phone orders, she is said yes. I told her I called 6 times, she said we were busy, we don't answer the phone when we are busy. But there's only 2 people in line .. the girl was very rude..

Went to the drive through and they were super nice but I found 3 hairs in my food.

Didn't eat here, my review is based on attempting to eat there. Walked in, cashier seemed more intent on getting the orders out, after what seemed like 5 minutes of standing around we just left and went next door to panda where we were greeted with a "Welcome".

WARNING: Good food. VERY poorly trained staff. VERY poor customer support. VERY poor basic Math skills. Seriously, they don't even know the items on the menu. My mom went in trying to get an order e.g. Item 1: BBQ Katsu Mix (approx. $10) + Item 2: Aloha plate with 1. Kalua Pork and 2. Grilled cheese chicken (approx. $10) and they tried to charge her $90 dollars. She tried a second time and they charged her $40 and she had to cancel the order of course. To the person at the register who took my Mom's order, I had to deal with a headache for an hour because you CANNOT do your job. Whatever happened to customer support and giving the customer what they need? Instead of helping an elderly women get an order, you feigned ignorance and pretended you couldn't do anything. This is unacceptable. If these are values you represent as a company, then my family, friends and I WILL NEVER GO BACK to Ono's Hawaiian BBQ.

I will never eat at this place nor any other Ono Hawaiian BBQ establishment. I'm extremely allergic to pork. I ordered a chicken breast platter. I began eating my meal and immediately my tounge swelled up and my throat began to close. My wife asked the cashier on the kitchen protocols for handling different meats on the grill and kitchen prep area. And the cashier went into the kitchen to ask the kitchen staff what protocols do they follow, she nervously came back and informed my wife of some made up story.

This is the 3rd time they get my order wrong And is the same girl that takes my order .! I ask for a number 1 I get home and have something totally different. I asked her sauce she tells me is in the bag and I get home I’m Missing the sauce . I’m so Over this place . Never again I’ll be visiting this place . I hate the service.

Overpriced for what you get, only one size drink (large) (more money out of the customer). No paper towels in restrooms only nasty germ spreading dyers. (gross). The Coke didn't taste good. the three of us could have gone to a steak house and got a better value.

I’m not sure how to go about filling a complaint but I waited for 45 minutes for a plate with island shrimp and the Rosemead location and was given 6 pieces that were somehow still cold. I can’t access the stores phone because no one will answer. Very disappointed .
