Chao Down Poki

Even with the over-saturation of the poke bowl game, this place definitely stands out! Their menu items are very NOT typical, and delicious. Loved the fact you can get fresh tempura shrimp!

The tempura is really crispy and fresh and both the cooked meat poki bowl and raw fish poki bowl was amazingly delicious. Definitely recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ChaoDown Poki is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, great flavor, and very generous portions. You definitely get your money’s worth here. It’s a small place, but it has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. There’s even a clean restroom and a small kids’ area with a chalkboard for drawing, which is such a thoughtful touch for families. We were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Incredibly friendly staff! Good variety of protein, that was very good quality. They have great sauce choices and have tons of toppings. They give you big protein portions and the toppings are unlimited. Everything tasted amazing, definitely back!!

I went here to the suggestion of a close friend. He was right. It was worth the 35-minute drive. The food was fresh, the server was super cool, it's a smaller place, maybe seats 25-28 people. I fell in love with Poke when I went to Hawaii 15 years ago. I've had Poke a lot of places, and this place is definitely in my top 5. I'll be a regular customer for sure!!!

I’ve been craving poke since I came back from Hawaii. It’s obviously not the same quality as Hawaii but it was very good😋. You have so many options to choose from and they are not greedy with their toppings. I did ask them to shake everything up together with the sauce before they put it over my rice. I do recommend eating it the same day😅 I tried to save some for work the next day and the cucumbers were mushy🫠. Definitely a spot you need to visit if you’re ever craving poke for a reasonable price.

As someone that travelled to Hawaii back and forth for work this place is legitimately the only one that satiates the craving for poki and is better than any place I have tried. The choices are unmatched and I think that the price is more than fair for the quality. The employees are friendly and super helpful with suggestions. I personally get tempura shrimp, chao down mix, and salmon for my proteins. The chao down and spicy mayo compliment the food extremely well. If you want an amazing experience for poki all around I don't think any other place compares. 6 star establishment in my opinion.

The Poke here is some of the best I’ve ever had… and athat’s coming from someone who can be a bit picky with their poke. Every single time I’m in Roseville I make it my mission to stop here: The fish is consistently delicious, and all the ingredients fresh. The serving sizes are generous (the picture below is one of their smallest sizes!) and the staff is always efficient and nice. I highly recommend you stop in and try it- especially the chow down mix!

Omg...this was the first time ever trying poki. I thought I had to eat raw fish...I cannot do it...I dont like the texture...it must be cooked. My daughter wanted this for her birthday...so we came. I looked on Yelp before going to see the pictures...read the reviews and see the menu. I liked what I saw so we decided to try it. If you are like me and do not like raw fish...they will cook it for you... 1. You start with the size. Regular 11.50 you get 2 scoops of protein like fish...chicken...shrimp...ect Large. 13.50. 3 scoops of protein of choice Xlarge 16.50 5 scoops of protein of choice 2. Choose what you want on the bottom...just white rice...brown rice...spring salad mix or half rice half spring mix or wontons... Now they have many sauces to choose from...you can have them put some on your rice and spring mix...take it on side...or just on fish or protein. I put some teriyaki on rice...and chose 3 flavors to go. 3. Now you choose your meat chicken, shrimp, crab, fresh fish ect 4. You then choose veggies...so many to choose from. This place is fresh...the workers are so nice and patient... If your looking for a fresh meal...this place is awesome.

This place is very delicious! Staff is nice! Variety of drinks! Paid $21 which for poke I think it’s reasonable especially with all the toppings one gets! Great music choice! Will be coming back when I’m in town 😊

I drive past 5 or 6 other poké places to come to ChaoDown. They have a wide variety of incredibly fresh fish, and the best selection of toppings I've ever seen. They are very friendly, patient if you are new to the process of building a Poké bowl, and I have never been disappointed by my meal. They have done a great job of keeping their prices reasonable, and it's still a great value. I only wish there was a ChaoDown Poki in every city!

My wife and I found our new favorite poke spot. They're generous with their scoops of protein, and they have a wide selection of unlimited toppings. I get the X-large bowl, and it easily fills me up (6'2). Can't wait to go back.

First time at this location cause their high rating, staffs were friendly but the food was alright. Broccoli was really hard and I got salmon for my protein, tasted not fresh at all so as their corn. I don’t like their spicy mayo, very plain, won’t come back again but if you are nearby it’s ok to give a try.

Went to pick up the online order. They didn’t even started to make our orders. The male worker started to prep the food. Slamming the utensils and looked as if he didn’t want to do it. Got home and realized the poki had no sauce on mine or my daughter and the sides were all wrong!!! We will never order from this place again. Our dinner cost 75.00 and got crappy service and food!!!
