Had a fantastic dinner here with generous portions of delicious food. I highly recommend ordering a meal that they cook on the grill as it is prepared right in front of you and is super fresh. The chef was highly entertaining and created such a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone. Will definitely be back in the future!
Great, great service. Had 6 rolls between the three of us and some awesome jalapeño spicy tuna poppers. Loved it all, but the G crunch was a killer!!!
Not a sushi person but I tried alot of tasty options with my co workers and became a fan! Our server Pim was amazing! The sake is bomb 😄
Went for my Oldest Grands' 20th Birthday. Very enjoyable, entertaining and all around fun! The Host, our Waitress and especially the Chef were amazing! We had a great time, even though we got a 'lil loud ☺ The food was good and we all took home leftovers. Thank you Soho for a very nice evening.
My sissie and I enjoy eating at new places and decided since we've never been to hibachi before so we came to try this place out. Ordering was easy, watching them make it was fun and the food was delicious.
Certainly a busy time during dinner and weekends of course but to my surprise the night staff were very excellent and organized considering all the chaotic customers of sorts; families and children or couples and friends. The food there is delicious and the staff are just delightful! I had a very fun time there with my mother and so did she this is a great place to go for any occasion especially if Lynn, Ellen, David, Sean, Monica and whoever else was there to help make sure everything ran so smoothly! THANK YOU AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR HOSPITALITY AND EFFORTS SOHO SUSHI TEAM!

This place is one of my favorite food places and I ate all the food and I go a lot of the time so they all know me and they are very kind I highly recommend you ask for Polly he makes the food so much more better in general the food is amazing and staff is nice and the place is really clean
Definitely call ahead if you want to sit at the hibachi. They were missing a chef (or 2) when we went so our chef was a little rushed. All in all, he did a good job, was entertaining and the food tasted good.

Everything about this experience at lunch was fabulous. The wait service was extraordinary. Her name is Dinh. She did everything she could to make us feel like we were the only customers in the room. We were with an older lady that we were treating and she jumped right in and did what she could to make her feel special. Then, Ricardo came on the scene and did all his best tricks for a lovely Teppanyaki meal. He was engaging and very skilled. Food was delicious. I want to go back for their sushi in the afternoons. And try some of their lemon sake at the same time....

My reservation was 7:30 and it’s 8:55 and havnt seen a chef, I would recommend this only for reservations before 7:00 (update the chef appeared)
Great place for hibachi....waitresses are very good...cooks are pretty good, some better than others...I would go back there.

Food was good. Service was good. They dint have air conditioning. It was 95° in the restaurant. Every person there was waving there hands as fans. They had several fans set up that were caked in grease, just blowing hot air around.
We ordered food and it was fine, service was less than mid at first but slightly got better, but that went downhill when we asked to share a plate and they made us pay $5. FIVE DOLLARS?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Unbelievable manager policy, why make people pay an extra $5 when they already payed for the food? It's up to the customers what they do with the food no?? Food was good though, service was ok. **except for the guys that make the food in front of you, they're the star of the place and are very friendly and funny :D

Rude staff they are not professional and are very rude they show the customers that all they care about is the money. They don’t care about customer service at all from the minute we walked in we didn’t feel like we were going to have a good experience but wanted to stay and see how things went but I wish we didn’t they are horrible. The best part about our experience was the chef his name was Leo but other than that I would give it a no star review.
Not sure what to say. I took my wife to Valentines Dinner which I had a reservation for. We waited in lobby for 60 minutes prior to being seated and having to wait 60.more minutes to have someone take my order. Long story short 3 hours later we are done eating and put the door. The African American gentleman is super nice and always kind. This situation was out of his hands. They only had 3 chefs maybe 4 for the entire resturant. Straight madness
The food was good. Probably worth 4 stars, but for whatever reason, maybe I smelled bad, I don't know, but the waitress we had was straight up rude, and playing passive aggressive games with me. We were seated, and had just opened the menu when she came over to us, and stood in front of us, without saying anything. Perhaps I was rude by not greeting her before saying simply, "Sorry, just one minute." To which she replied, "drinks"? I replied again, sorry, I don't know yet, can we have a minute please? When she got around to taking our order, she listened to my date's order, and then started having a conversation with other diners for 2 minutes. She eventually got around to taking my order too. I ordered sushi, and it was served without soy-sauce, or chopsticks (this is a"sushi" restaurant). I waited, growing impatient with her service, or lack thereof. Eventually I got up to track her down to ask for soy sauce. After a few moments she placed a bottle of soy sauce on the table and quickly walked away. I had to chase her down and get her attention and "tell her" to bring me a dish for the soy sauce. At no point was I rude or inconsiderate or belittling or anything. I really don't know what her deal is/was, but they forever lost 2 customers tonight.

Everyone who ate the steamed rice got this infection. I couldn't keep anything down, even water, which sent me to the ER due to severe dehydration. We will be calling the health inspector.

Disappointed After Years of Loyalty I’ve been a regular at Soho Sushi and Tappenanyaki for a long time. The food has always been great, the service solid, and I’ve recommended this place to friends and family countless times. In fact, any time we have a special occasion, I usually insist we go to Soho. But after my recent experience, I’m honestly questioning if I’ll ever come back. We went out as a family—me, my wife, our 4-year-old, our 3-year-old, and our 3-month-old infant. We spent about $184 in total, but nearly $30 of that was an automatic gratuity because of their “parties of 5 or more” policy. Here’s the issue: they counted our three-month-old baby as a full person toward that party of five. A baby who doesn't order food, doesn't drink water, doesn't even sit in their own chair. Just there, quiet in his car seat. I wouldn’t be complaining if we had five actual people eating. But charging us $30 extra because of an infant is just petty and greedy. This isn’t about tipping—I always tip well when service is good. This is about principle. If your policy can't distinguish between a paying guest and a literal newborn, it’s flawed. And honestly, it left a bad taste in our mouths after what should’ve been a nice family dinner. You just lost a loyal customer over $30 you didn’t earn.
