Sweet place close to home. I like supporting local buisness. Great staff always willing to go the extra mile with easy ice for my dr pepper and a free glazed for my daughter with my purchase. I've been coming here for 9 years and my daughter looks forward to comming. Products always taste fresh and look great. Very reasonable prices and a great selection.

Shipleys Donuts is just a run of the mill donut shop. What they lack in originality they make up for in customer service and cleanliness. I've been visiting Shipleys for many years and never had a bad time. My only complaint is that there needs to be more country sausage in the country sausage kolaches. Thank you for always providing a relaxing and tasty experience.

We got 2 Apple fritters. Why did we do that? Well to our surprise they were HUGE & so delicious!!! We only ate 1 fritter together!!!! We've never been there before, "yes we're going back again!"!

Shipleys donuts are the best and this branch is the best of all shipleys we have been to. Their donuts are delicious and just melt in the mouth. The Kolaches are great as well, their bread is awesome. Coffee is rich and dark just the way we like it. Staff is great and always cheerful. Our friends in San Antonio and Houston request us to bring Kolaches and donuts from here. I recommend this place to everyone living in or visiting Round Rock.

Wonderful experience!! Richard, the older gentleman, really puts in so much effort and you know he does it with a smile. Couldn’t be more pleased with the hospitality we received, and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves.

I don't usually like Shipley's. The quality isn't usually very good, but this location is the exception! The kolaches are always hot and fluffy! And the staff is very pleasant!

Don't go here often unless I'm dying for a kolache, but this location has a great owner! He is so personable and focuses on customer service. 1 free donut for every purchase. No one does that!

Kudos on having a great staff. I visited on 5-22-22 at 3pm amd was impressed with the teamwork of the two ladies. Very good hire. Kind and accomodating when the donut I wanted was not on the menu. Lady at register was sweet and patient. Girl behind her, was quick at packing up my donuts. They make a good team. I was also pleased with the hours. Not every donut shop is avail in thr middle of the day.

Service is fast and customer service is great! They always seem to have some deal going on so I almost always leave with a free half dozen glazed. The glazed donuts and the donut holes essentially melt in your mouth. The kolaches are a bit too bready but I grew up on Shipley’s so it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

The drive threw service is extremely fast as well as friendly staff. My order was correct as well as my coffee. I can say that they made me feel welcomed even though I was in the drive threw. The fact that the young man at the window was very attentive and made sure everything was correct before I pulled away is a reason I will continue to go to Shipley’s and of course the donuts and coffee. Also tried the sausage egg cheese kolach by his recommendation and it was exquisite to say the least. Overall I am very pleased not only as a food junkie but as a critic on customer experience!

I loved the donuts. We had donut holes ,kolaches, and filled donuts. It was really good, better than Roundrock donuts! Just my opinion. It was easy access, fast service, and every thing was bigger.

Great kolaches and glazed donuts! I love their sausage kolaches. We got 19 kolaches and 2 dozen donuts and a large unsweet tea. Staff was super friendly and courteous.

They have a good selection of doughnuts, twists and pastries. There are a few booths to sit indoors and eat, as well as a drive-thru window. It was clean and nice, and the man at the counter was very nice and helpful. He even informed me that I get one more doughnut for free!

Came by today at 11:30 because RR Donuts’ line was too long. Super glad I came by here. The kolaches have a buttery taste on the outside and were not greasy, which I love. Quick, friendly service. I’ll probably skip going to RR Donuts and come here instead. :)

The Apple Fritters are awesome here, with lots of chunks of soft apple and not too heavy on the glaze. And they are huge. Of course the kiddos love all the different colored sprinkled donuts. This location is also near Old Settlers Park which makes it great for grabbing breakfast and spending the morning in the sunshine.

Very friendly staff! Donuts were yummy. Everything fresh and made that day. Haven't tried the kolaches yet but will next time- was told by a friend that they are great.

Absolute shout out to this place! Last Sunday we did a DoorDash order close to closing time. They left us a note saying they didn’t have the donuts we ordered but they gave us what they had and extra of it. Thanks for the incredible service, thanks for not canceling my order and just sending us a bunch of donuts. We loved it!!!!

Hot and delicious Kolaches and donuts served till 5 PM every day. Carol was helpful and friendly, made some good suggestions and made us feel welcome. Def would recommend stopping by for a taste. Location is well stocked even until closing time and very clean, you can tell management is involved and makes sure everyone has a good experience.

Way bigger inside than I expected it to be. So much seating and a great selection. At 3pm on a Sunday it was pretty much dead inside, and the gentleman working was gentleman working was so kind and patient. He was nice even when we took forever picking out a dozen, as we acted like we had never seen a donut before. I imagine it is incredibly busy in the mornings and on weekdays. Great little shop. Unlike some franchises that cut taste corners, this is a good take on the Shipley franchise! They make the Shipley donuts I grew up loving! Service is good and friendly.

Great tasting products. Their service was focused on drive thru and walk in pick up of ph and online orders. The walk in counter service was slow for what I am familiar with. Most likely Covid related service disruption.

It's rare when a donut place captures my attention but this place is clean and the donuts rule. I compared them for weeks to different donuts and personally these are the best in town besides round rock donuts themselves. This place holds up it's high expectations with pride. I'll be back.

Visited at 9:30am on a Friday and they stil had a good selection of donuts. The cream filled could have used more cream but the lemon filled were perfect. The cashier was quick and friendly as well.

The sausage and cheese kolache was decent at best. The apple fritter was very tasty and the guy threw in a glazed donut too. The storw looked clean, the service was great, and the prics are very reasonable. Not bad for a chain and my first time at a Shipley Donuts.

Whoever at corporate created the devil's food filled donut is not getting paid enough. Absolutely phenomenal; like a lava cake with a fudgy filling. Haven't had a bad delivery experience from this location, though the pricing is a bit steep, and the kolaches are very bread-heavy (not a lot of filling)

Do nuts are really good but what up with kolaches? Example: sausage and cheese. As soon as you bite off the end there is a little sausage surrounded by lots of air. Big roll, yep. They are really big. Hope you like dough.

Variety was good. We enjoyed our doughnuts and kolaches. Though there were bees everywhere that were off putting-would have been nice to see an effort to get out the fly swatter.

I've had better Donuts. We went around closing which might explain why the donuts were stall and stiff. Not at all satisfied with this fat attack run but the gentleman that was there was super nice and friendly even tho we were "those customers that came at closing" 😅 willing to try this place again, maybe sooner to when they make the donuts first thing in the morning but for a late night fat tooth craving. Its a no go.

Pastry items such as the Kolaches aren't very good, dry, bland, etc Donuts are fairly decent, or about average in taste, freshness, and flavor. They've been better in the past. Service was also average.

Found the basic donut to be very dry and taste more like a fried bread with glaze than a donut. The cake donuts are very dense and moist. Nothing was super sweet, but we didn't get any of the large decorated or specialty donuts.

The customer service was great the donuts were stale i paid 9.50 for a dozen stale donuts. What is even more sad and disappointing than the stale donuts are that i grew up eating shipley in my houston tx neighborhood and expect more out of them than to serve stale day old donuts at full price 😣 also as i read through the reviews i noticed Shipley doesn't even respond to reviews at all yes i know i couldve called in a complaint but for what it would be a waste of time i will reserve my energy and not go back

The meat kolaches had a little too much bread for my taste. Other than that everything was good. I got three free donuts for every 1/2 dozen kolaches, which was a good deal.

Their glazed donuts are small and lack much of a flavor. Their sausage and cheese kolaches are a pathetic mess. They look decent from the outside, but bite in and see that the air pocket inside comprises 80%; within is a skinny sausage coated with a very watery cheese that doesn't remind me of anything resembling cheese or even cheeze wiz. I was quite disappointed.

Hot cocoa was hot water. They asked me to taste it to see if more cocoa needed to be added and it was scolding out and burnt my mouth. No warning abiut how hot it was and I added more cocoa at home. Donuts didnt taste fresh either.

The young man that worked there was on his cell phone almost left then gave me the wrong donuts....he was very respectful but not professional at all. Also he overcharged me and the hot chocolate was terrible. Instead of making new hot choc. He was trying to squeeze what he could get out. He said their machine was not working right....well then fix it. I used to like to go there but I will not again. Phones at work should not be allowed when you are on the clock!!!!

I am newer to Texas, and Round Rock. Weve heard a lot about donuts here being awesome. Round Rock donuts hands down is the best. When it comes to Shipley Do-nuts, they really aren't worth it. These donuts have no taste, very little icing, and nothing unique about them. I would not go back. (The service wasn't bad, but the donuts themselves were worse than grocery store donuts)

Went to get donuts for my family this morning. Glaze donuts were great, but was really disappointed with Lemon Donuts that I asked for. I asked for 3 lemon filled donuts and they gave me custard filling that tasted like it had garlic flavoring. I was craving for lemon fillings but I was not satisfied with my customer service.

Got 2 chocolate covered donuts and the bottom outer part was hard, crunchy and stale. I went at 5:30 am and I would expect the donuts to be fresh and soft. The kolaches are good though.

Donuts are fine, wouldn't go back though. The boy at the drive through was nice. There were two girls (all high school age kids) that looked at me like they wouldn't dump toilet water on me if I were on fire. Every time I would smile at them, they would glare back at me, with the classic "I hate you" look....No smiles whatsoever. Just rude glares. I know working isn't always fun, but you'd think I did something personally wrong to both of them by the looks they were giving me. I tipped a dollar (works out to a 22% tip) and I hope that only went to the guy that helped me.

I used to love Shipleys but I don't think I'll be going back. Their food is over priced and underwhelming. Kolaches are all bread and the ham in the ham and cheese tasted off. The lady at the window was nice.

The elderly man who serviced me seem bothered to have to serve me I ordered a chocolate glazed donut he gave me a reg glazed donut I ordered a frozen strawberry lemonade and he gave me a regular strawberry lemonade and looked upset when I asked him to correct my drink I realized he gave me the wrong donut after I already left would not recommend will not be going back

Well, we went around 2:30pm on Black Friday. We got 3 glazed donuts and a small bag of donut holes. (The pic shows 2 donuts because I ate one before we got home). The cost was $7.00!!!! Yikes! I wished we had just traveled a few miles further to the Round Rock Donut Shop where the donuts are more flavorful, soft and less expensive. I’ll never go back to Shipley’s.

Such a disappointment compared to any other Shipley's I've been to. Kolaches were hard; donuts tastes old; and mocha cappuccino was watered down. SMH

The worse I have ever bought. They appeared to have been old. I got butterfly and he got a kaloche he was really disappointed. I have been to Shipley Do-Nuts in Buda they were out of this world good. Not this place.

Just went to this Shipley's and I asked for a maple bar. the girl tells me yes we have maple bars but they have bavarian pudding in them and I say, I don't like the pudding but I like the cream filled . I get my donuts and drive away and look in the bag and lo and behold I have a chocolate bar donut with bavarian pudding in it. Hardly a maple bar! On top of that, with the pudding that I don't like. Somebody needs to educate their workers what a maple bar is.. this was a pricey little donut for something that I'm not even going to eat. Tried it and it was awful..threw it away! Round Rock Donuts tops this place all to pieces..never going here again!!

I ordered through Uber Eats. I ordered 2 country sausage kolaches, a cinnamon roll, a long John and a Dr. Pepper. Everything was good except for the kolaches!! They were hard and had a very small piece of sausage, and a little bit of egg in them... I can't believe they would even sell these! This was a big waste of money!!

Ordered coffee and doughnuts as power was out this morning. Coffee was ok. Why 8 am doughnuts taste like they were made 2 days ago is a mystery. So stale. Disappointing.

***DO NOT BUY FROM HERE*** I came to get a dozen of donuts and got refused for my ethnicity. This old man was screaming slurs at me from behind the counter. So I walked out and him and his co-worker started following me to my car still aggressively shouting slurs to me for no reason.

The kolaches r horrible. there is enough room in the kolaches for 2 sausages. All I got was 1/3 sausage and rest bread. I tasted no cheese. Jalapino tastell was very good. Donuts were good but not better than round rock donuts.

We've been to this location many times in the past and it's been wonderful...until today. Husband ordered big earl sausage and cheese and got the jalapeño one instead, and while we were eating all we hear is an employee yelling at the other staff. The young staff looked to be so stressed about it they were making more mistakes. I truly feel sorry for those young employees having to deal with a screaming I'm assuming shift leader. It makes working not fun at all.

Was craving donuts and planned to get Round Rock Donuts but the line was long and didnt wanna wait so i drove down the street to Shipleys. Next time I will just wait in line for delicious Round Rock Donuts. Shipleys donuts were cold and horrible! Walmart donuts are better! Not only the donuts were horrible but the older guy at the window was just as bad. And Round Rock Donuts are cheaper. Even my kids think Shipleys donuts are horrible. The last 2 times I got there at 1pm and they were closed, but the hours show open till 5. I get yall run out, but if this is a usual happening, yall should either change the hours, or make more. Ended up going to donut empire instead. Their kolaches are bigger, less bready, and they stay open according to their schedule 😊

Service was terrible. A customer was in front of me and she left. The worker messed up on putting in the customer's order and couldn't get the money in the register. Instead of helping me, she tried fixing her mistake. No one was in the store but me & my 3 kids. Another worker came by & helped her co-worker. I asked her if she could take my order on the other register, to which I was ignored. A 3rd worker came by & all 3 decided to work on the register. They all decided to ignore me & I got no response from any of them. So after 8 minutes of waiting & being ignored with no response, I had to leave & get my kids to school with no donuts. Never returning again!

Bad experience with this location for few times last week with the same representative in the evening time. I am a regular customer since 2018 and never faced issue like this before. I told him on the list of donuts and he noted it. Again while picking up he is asking same question what do you need? While delivering few of the items it’s not what I asked. Didn’t have a grade for the atmosphere- used the drive thru. Felt like it was more expensive than Shipley’s at home, the order was half incorrect, and the quality of the food for being 6am felt like the donuts were cooked yesterday.

Strange experience... After a very long wait, I was "greeted" at the window by an old man who just stared at me, and said nothing. I had to restate my order several times, as he kept forgetting what I ordered. There was a car that honked in the distance and he asked if it was the car behind me. I told him it wasn't.... Because it wasn't, and he told me he thought I was just being nice and it was them. I tried to assure him it was not the car behind me and the honk was off in the distance, and he refused to believe me. I hope he was not rude to the people waiting patiently behind me. The kolaches were VERY stale tasting and completely inedible. The donuts were very average. You can get better pretty much anywhere else. I recommend not giving this establishment your business.

The only reason I’m giving this place one star is the COST. ONE SNALL KOLACHE IS $3.65!! Every person eats 2 at least usually. So I ordered like I normally would, and MAYBE got 12-14 donuts, 6 kolaches and 3 drinks and it was $57. YES, FIFTY SEVEN DOLLARS. Never again. We’re talking about some of the cheapest food in existence to make. This is just absolutely insane. Never in my life have I left a donut shop spending $57. We literally could have gone to Cracker Barrell and spent less money on way more legitimate food.

The old man working the drive thru kept forgetting my order. When I kept reminding him he kept getting angry and told me to stop changing my mind. Except I wasn’t changing my mind. It was the same order. Dude must have dementia or something. When he finally gave me my order he slammed the drive thru window in my face and screamed at me to never come back. No worries. I wasn’t planning on coming back after being treated like trash. Oh and the donuts were awful too. Edit: I didn’t want to think it was racism but then I saw the other reviews saying he acted racist. Shame on him.

"Fresh glazed" Donuts were rock hard and ice cold at 830 AM asked when the next batch of hot glaze were coming out (Like a regular shipleys) and she said that was the last batch at 830 AM ....Terrible save trouble and go to RR Donuts

The prices here have become a bit much. For 2 kolaches and a coffee, it was $14. Maybe if the quality and freshness were there, it would make sense. But the coffee is basic gas station coffee, and the kolaches tasted like they've been under a heat lamp. There are too many other good places around. You can pass on this one.

We got donuts from this Shipley Do-Nuts location for our daughter's birthday today around 7AM. The donuts were stale and very obviously not fresh. My husband called the location to see if they'd refund us or give us replacements at another time, but they told him they were baked fresh and to come back so they could show him? I would like to go back and let them taste the donuts they sold to us, but as I said it's a big day for our family. If the quality of their "fresh donuts" is cold and hard I do not recommend and will not be returning to this location. Very disappointed in these donuts and the company.

Unhappy with the lemon donuts..I bought 3 and so far had two. The lemon dot is so small it's the size of a nickel. What the heck ???? I had to get all the way to the middle before I found a dab. That's not fair . Wow how cheep to pull this trick. Kinda dry to. (I'll stick with Krispy Kreme).
