Opinions de Xian Sushi and Noodle Round Rock
We went to Xian Sushi and Noodle at Gattis School Rd for ”all you can eat” lunch. It was wonderful! My kids and I all enjoyed their food so much! The price is incredibly reasonable for adults $23.99, kids 5-11 $11.99, the best value compared to other Asian restaurants in Austin! We had soup dumplings (4 per serving), tempura shrimps (2), Char Siu Bao, Ramen noodles, Takoyaki, fried Shumai, sushi, miso soup and so much more! The ice cream is also the best, in a cute individual bowl, not the ice cream machine made one. All the food is freshly hand made and it takes a bit longer to wait, please prepare for the waiting, but it definitely worth it if you have time.
This is one of my family’s favorite places. The food is great and service is outstanding. Everyone is so friendly. They have a phenomenal lunch special and very reasonable Happy Hour. We love supporting this little local restaurant. 5 Stars!
Tried the all you can eat option. The food came hot and fresh. Portions were good size. We tried the chicken and shrimp hibachi, ramen noodles, edamame, dragon roll, everything bagel roll, egg cream bao, seaweed salad and avocado salad, soup dumplings, and tamagotchi nigiri. All are delicious and filling. The interior is beautifully done. The only very minor downside is that ice cream. We preferred the scoops, but they only have them in cups. Flavors are the vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Overall we highly recommend this place and will come back.
Our office orders lunch from this restaurant often, and it’s always good! The wonton soup is one of my favorites and the sushi is tasty and fresh. Our office is closed this week so I came in for the all-you-can-eat lunch from 11am-3pm, and they had lots of the normal rolls and dishes on the all you can eat menu. Will keep coming back!
We had the All you can Eat and tried Miso soup, Atlantic roll, Dallas roll, Takoyaki, fried Gyoza, chicken stir fried noodles, and Ramen noodles(udon) with pork belly and creamy tonkotsu. Everything was freshly made and delicious! Waitstaff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely return. Don't let the outside fool you, the inside is super cute!
Xian Sushi and Noodle offers fantastic handmade noodles and sushi that hit the spot every time. The flavors are rich and authentic, the presentation is clean, and the quality is consistent. The house-made noodles are chewy and fresh, while the sushi rolls are beautifully crafted. Great food, fair prices, and friendly service — can’t ask for more.
We went to Xian Noodle in Round Rock today for the all you can eat lunch special (Mon-Fri 11a-3p). Adults $23.99. We had the following. Seaweed salad - large portion Avocado salad - lettuce, shredded carrots, cucumber and avocado - dressing was delicious Yuzu seared salmon - good, smelled a little fishy Shioyaki Mackerel - yummy, light and cooked Char Siu Bao - this was tasty and sweet, but little meat lots of bao bread (try one to share if interested) Spicy chili wonton - Super yummy, not that spicy for me but the wontons were meaty Tempura Shrimp - lightly fried and classic - yummy Stuffed jalepeno- lightly spicy - yummy Hibachi chicken - the chicken chunks were huge. It was good and filling, but sauce was just plain. Yellowtail roll - this was good and tasted very fresh Snow White roll - very filling roll. Good. The cooked items were stellar as well as the yellowtail roll. They only have one person cooking in the kitchen. The all you can eat is new and they need more kitchen staff, so please be patient with them (if you are looking for a job or know someone)… please send them their way. Server was Madison and she was super sweet, informative and made great recommendations. This is the first time we’ve had this in 3 years and really loved it. The owner came by to ask us if everything was ok and if we needed anything.
My family and I have come at least three or four times. Food is always great. Big portions and very tasty food. The service is always great. We have tried different plates, including baos, sushi, and noodles. Everything bagel fried sushi is my favorite. All of the food we tried has been great. Love this place!!!
I’ve been to several Xian sushi and noodle locations and this one is my favorite. It’s super cute inside and the servers here are friendly and attentive. I always enjoy the sushi here. The Team 7 roll is really unique and probably the best roll I’ve ever had. It’s a winter special that I hope stays on the menu!
My new favorite spot! Prices were very good for the quality of food. Nothing was disappointing. The dim sum soup dumplings really hit the spot. The sushi was very fresh and melt in your mouth. I always order chirashi when I try new places. The amount of sushi was excellent and very thick cuts of fish (at least 1/4 thick). I was sold instantly on the atmosphere as they had a giant Naruto poster in the front and anime playing on one of the TVs. My weeb heart is so happy.
This place is great. I've been there 3 times and had exceptional service each time. The food matches the service, 5 stars. Highly, highly recommend the chili oil wontons 😋 (pictured). Pro-tip: pour the excess oil over your fried rice dish. Haven't tried the sushi yet but I will most definitely be back to try it.
We were torn on deciding where to go for lunch and found that Xian Sushi and Noodle is now open with several good reviews. A quick call to make sure they were open and we were on our way for lunch. The staff was friendly when we arrived and through our entire visit. Our food was easy to order via their menu app link. The appetizers and main meals were great, much better than we had expected, and excellent portion sizes. Overall, it was a great lunch and we will definitely be going there again.
Hard to beat the happy hour rolls! Not the best sushi but pretty good. We did notice the 2nd time we would order a roll that it would have a little less meat or be a little off from the first one. This inconsistency is my only hesitation with the place but we will be back!
I think the fried rolls, the cooked rolls are great but for raw fish I’d still go with nini, I did like our server she was attentive and honest. it was only two tables there when I went for the ayce during lunch time on Tuesday. The calamari is the best tho!!! 23.99 for ayce you can’t beat in RR
This is Xian's newest location. Yet again, the Xian brand has good food and fresh sushi, but I can't keep justifying going back when the staff are so inattentive. Hopefully this location smooths things things out once they've been open a few more weeks. The food was good, but service was quite bad. When we are forced to use an app to order food, the waitstaff become glorified food runners that only come to your table to drop off food. The Dan Dan noodles were excellent, as well as the pork gyoza. We also ordered a bento box with Orange Chicken which was a very sweet Americanized Chinese style. Our sushi rolls were was fresh.
I went for lunch and decided to order from the all you can eat menu. While there were some good things it was every limited. I felt that there was not much offered for the amount we paid. I think I'll just stick to the regular menu. It took a while to get things even though we were one of the 3 parties in there at the time.
The food was alright, they sent us the wrong order by mistake and corrected it when we mentioned it. I think they did their best but the service was definitely lacking which overall impacted the experience. Nothing we ate was jaw dropping, everything was pretty subpar but was aesthetically pleasing. The Thai tea tasted like it was from a packet, not the usual tea + milk/cream. I probably won't return to this location and it wouldn't be on my list of recommendations.
The food was our only problem. The problem is hard to describe. It's like the dishes are just a conglomoration of plain, store-bought components. For example, the Ramen broth was only plain chicken stock out of a box. Unseasoned chicken from a can. The stirfry noodle entree seemed microwaved. The steamed buns tasted like they were out of a package. I don't say these things flippantly; I have high confidence about this. Among similar nearby competitor restaurants, this is not what a patron would expect. I don't mind preassembled or even frozen food at this price point (although it was overpriced in my opinion), but the main ingredients should have some character, such as the chicken. There should be seasonings to tie everything together. At least the noodles should be fresh.
This place used to be really good. The food is not the same. Ordered pick up and it was awful. The noodles smelled bad and looked like spaghetti with maybe some soy sauce. Don't even look like there is sauce on the noodles. Since they smelled awful we didn't eat it. The "fried rice" was yellow rice with veggies. The chicken was cold despite having to wait 6mins past my pickup time. $35 for food my family couldn't eat. Truly disappointed.
Dirty tables everywhere, not enough staff. Clutter and grimy cabinets behind the bar and at checkout/hostess stand. Took too long to get out appetizers (45min for spicy cucumbers and soup dumplings) We left and went to eat somewhere else. Appears (we sat at the bar and watched all the orders being picked up) they had so many to go orders that they couldn't adequately serve the dine in customers in a timely manner! Soup dumplings were NOWHERE near as pictured in reviews from 8mos ago. These were frozen and steamed. Four tiny dumplings for $8 and lacked the actual broth inside that makes it a soup dumpling. I can buy the same ones in a tray of 6 for $4 in the freezer section at HEB. Sorry but we will not be back.
