My go to place daily, boba is always fresh and milk tea tastes delicious. The wait time is usually less than 5 minutes.

I only get the strawberry shortcake with 0% sugar but the puff cream here is better than the other Elk Grove location and better than the Vacaville location. Highly recommend, staff are reasonably nice and it’s never too busy in here. Make sure to use the app to get lemons (they don’t really advertise it at this store) and if you reload a gift card on the app you get an extra 5% off!!

Came in to get a drink and get some work done on my computer. There's a buy two get one free deal on Wednesdays that I didn't know about, so I ended up getting a free drink. Got the milk tea with cheese foam and pearls and a black tea with cheese foam. The flavor of the tea was good and not watery at all. The pearls were on the smaller end but soft and chewy, unlike some places. Free wifi and lots of tables, though it can get busy here and there. The wall outlet by my table wasn't working, and the employees were cool with me rearranging a table so I wouldn't have to run a cord across the walkway.

Recently got a Happy Lemon on Oahu and wanted to try a specialty drink from this Sacramento location. The flavor and consistency of the lemon slushy is pretty much the same. I felt like this one was on the watery side and not icy enough. Here I got a Grapefruit Slushy. The flavors went well together and the lemon wasn’t too overpowering. You can taste the grapefruit. There’s also real grapefruit and lychee jelly inside, which I liked. Service is great and I would visit again to try something new if I’m in the area!

This place has the best egg waffles I have ever had in my life. It is crunchy, not soggy at all. And the size is big! You have to try it. I give 4 stars is because their drinks are decent.

First time having Happy Lemon in Sacramento! Got my usual passion fruit green tea with boba at 25% sugar and 25% ice. Unfortunately, tasted like 100% sugar. Way too sweet. Staff probably accidentally put in too much. Also ordered a strawberry milkshake. Friend enjoyed it. Very busy for a Friday afternoon. Took a bit longer for drinks to come out. Parking in the plaza can be a bit busy.

I ordered the Matcha Salted Tiramisu cream cheese milk tea. It tasted like none of those words. The regular boba came with this brown sauce that changed the whole flavor of the drink. The milk tea with salted cream cheese - it was ok. Even though we ordered 25% sweetness, for both, it was still very sweet, and there wasn't any flavor of the actual tea, just sugar and the boba syrup. Matcha Bubble Waffle - nothing special.

But these were nothing like that, also, my brown surgery milk tea, had all the brown surgery glossed up on the bottom and not spread along the Inside of the cup. I do not know what type of training these kids get from HQ or Management, but it appears they need to be retrained and have some pride in their work. Also I ordered a taro and the taro was still in powder form at the bottom of cup. A mouth full of dust was gross. Let's just say I will not be returning and letting my friends know not to waiste time and money there. 😞

We drove out of way to try this again since we loved our experience in Seattle. However they were out of slushees and out of all ingredients to make any bubble waffle. Why even be open if you’re going to have to turn people away for what they came to get?

Likely just came on a bad day, but the passion fruit green tea I received was oversteeped which made it bitter, and the boba tasted burnt. It's the first time I've ever had boba with little bits of charcoal floating around in the drink. Can't say I appreciate the extra texture of charcoal!

I’ve been to this location twice. The first time they said they weren’t making any waffles. So I just ordered tea and left. Driving through Sacramento again and I stop here, it’s 6:30pm. The kid behind the counter informs me they’re out of batter for a waffle. And when I went to order tea only, he says they’re out of boba. I know it’s not hard to “make more batter” if that’s even a true claim. And to run out of boba on a Thursday at 6:30pm when you’re literally a bubble (BOBA) tea spot is ridiculous. Skip this location and go somewhere else.
