Another one of these downtown places I waited to go to and regret not going earlier. The ambiance is great, the patio is an awesome option for Sacramento Summers. I want that neon light and pig at my house that is features inside. The booze, good. Food, tasty. I'm going again ♥️♥️♥️

Great vegan sausages and salads. Nice, relaxed environment with lots of outdoor seating. The inside is big as well, but often loud. Loads of beer and wine choices, as well as specialty cocktails. LowBrau is in a nice area with lots of other bars, clubs, and restaurants nearby.

They have 1 Liter Draft Beer from Germany, that's pretty much enough for 5 stars right there. But that's not all, they have food too! I had their fries, pretzel and a sausage. All of which were good. The Sausage though was the standout, it's locally made and full of flavor. Only regret is that the burger wasn't available at the time I was there, so I'm gonna have to go back I guess...

Came on a Tuesday & they have happy hour all day! Good variety of tap & cans. Didn’t try the food. Vibes weren’t really there but good spot to go bar hopping. Gets very busy on Saturday because of farmers market. Haven’t gone back.

LowBrau is a staple for a night out. Depending on when you go you'll get a different experience. Some nights they have house music, electric music, pop music, etc.. Depending on the dj and the night you may get a lot of people dancing or it might feel kinda dead. Their themed dance nights are so fun and I think when they are busier. Motown Monday gets very very packed but the music is made for dancing and the energy is great for meeting new people. I've enjoyed all the drinks I've gotten here but my go tos are their ciders and the bees knees cocktail. The only food I've had here is their fries which are tasty so I'll have to check out the food menu sometime. Definitely come check it out on your next night out or if you wanna sit on the patio during the next nice weather day with your friends. The patio is also dog friendly and the location is so convenient.

I didn't eat pork and beef, but wanted a sausage, so I got the Italian (potatoes+sage). I was not expecting it to be any impressive, but it was actually really good! With a firmness I have no idea how they achieved! We went on a rainy week night and it was pretty empty, not sure if it'd get annoying when crowded.

LowBrau is a beautiful restaurant to hang out and enjoy a drink and some sausages. The food items consist of things you'd have at a bar like large pretzels, fries, and the like... but all are done very well!

Service is super chill, laid back and comfortable. One of the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had :) better than cafeteria 15L for sure lol. But I had an amazing meal, there is a berryish sauce that comes with so if your hesitant to try it you can ask for it in the side, overall my experience was great, will definitely come back. My friend had a sandwich with a salad and she did say her bread tasted kind of stale, but this is my recipe not hers so I can’t say much sorry:/ I didn’t try it. She liked the salad tho. My experience was a 5 star but just because of her stale bread I want to give it like a 4.7:) definitely recommend

Good food, although menu was a little misleading. Hours are inaccurate.

This review is purely about the night life aspect of low brau. The sound system is horrible as it last any dedicated subwoofers, so they crank the speakers over 100db which is bad for the ears, you can’t hear anyone talk really but there is no true bass vibrating in your chest. They need too add some sub woofers to balance the system. The bar tender was great. The lady that played before Mikey Barreneche was all over the place and couldn’t just play techno and keep the flow flowing, bad mixes as well. It’s a shame, they booked a headliner that makes good tracks but he sound system sucks so it wasn’t good. The DJ playing before cleared the dance floor due being a bad DJ. By the time the headliner came on within 35 min almost everyone left.

One star because of “auto gratuity”. What kind of predatory charge is this? Do you not understand what gratuity is for? Mind you this was on a Wednesday night for a party of two. We were the only ones in there. If you are going to auto charge gratuity to every single bill, just raise the prices. I refuse to ever go here again and I hope you follow suit. This is not ok. The waiting staff were nice, and likely deserving of the gratuity, but that should be my choice. Shame on this establishment.

Came here after the Kaytranada concert and was completely shocked to find out that they were charging a $20 cover ( even for concert goers) that’s $10 than their usual cover. I asked for the manager and this security “manager” Got in my face saying if I don’t like it I can leave. and even tried to grab me 1. I will be notifying everyone not to come here because honestly the atmosphere is just super aggressive and it’s not worth hanging out at. & 2. The staff seem to do whatever they want. It’s insane . I told him I’d be contacting the owner and he replied “ what are they gonna do??”. I’m not interested in coming to a place with fake security on a power trip. I’ll be sure everyone knows not to come here

The security at the door with dreads (Black male) is practicing unfair treatment at the door when trying to enter. He let certain people in after the 12:30 mark but refused me and my friend to come in . When I saw this with my own two eyes from a distance , I came up again and asked him and the lady security why we couldn’t get in and he told me that he makes the rules and they paid extra so they got to come in . This occurred Monday Dec 30th at 12:35 am. I just want to place this complaint because this is very unfair. I have attached the security guards photos and sent them to your DM also and no reply. I normally like coming to Motown Mondays but this was very disappointing and I will not be coming back. I don’t recommend this place to ANYONE. Very shady behavior occurring. Wish I could give 0 stars.
