Definitely better than the last time I was here, some food looked soggy or been there for a while but thats just regular with these places sometimes😅 I do not eat seafood but my girl said the fish was dry🤷🏽 Overall I had about 3-4 plates with different varieties of food that I mostly enjoyed, desert table had some goodies and my kids liked the ice cream, the waiter Eric was on top of refills and clearing our table also for 2 adults, a 12yr old and a 5yr old on a Friday around 6pm it was $74.17 + tip so id say about $100😅
This place is great. Not just because of the food (even though I do enjoy the selection and leave happily stuffed every time) but because of the service and the amazing staff. They have a few claw machines in the front area, and every time we go my daughter likes to play. On our most recent trip here, my daughter won a pink dino plush and they had a matching green dino plush in the machine as well. We tried a few times to win the green dino for my son, and we couldn’t win it. The hostess watched us play and try for the dino, and after seeing we couldn’t win it, she gave my son a little squish toy from behind the counter, which was so thoughtful and kind! As we are loading the kids into the car the hostess comes outside with the green dino plush and said she won it for my son and gave it to him. That kindness and generosity is so appreciated and made my family’s night! We will always come back to this place because of that interaction alone. And their selection of food, at the price, is amazing as well. I’d recommend this place to anyone!
I don't know what is was, but today was just amazing. Waiter was on top of it, the food was hot and like it was just put out. It just tasted better too. Awesome~!☆
Great buffet selection. From the usual choices, like Beef or Chicken Broccoli to Pepper Steak. It was fresh and tasty. Enjoy seafood and sushi, fried frog legs where amazingly good. The dumplings are great as was the dumpling sauce. The fruit and deserts where also amazing. The price was affordable as well. Service was excellent as well.

The food was excellent! The service was pretty good. The atmosphere was clean. However, the women's restroom should be maintained better as far as its cleanliness. It had hand sanitizer instead of soap.
Really enjoyed our visits. Food was fresh- Honey Chicken is especially tasty and the Hot and Sour Soup is some of the best I've had. Price is on par with other Chinese buffets.

This place was a good find. We hadn’t had a Chinese buffet in quite a while and searched one up. It led us here. It looks rather run of the mill from the outside and you can’t really judge anything. Once inside, it’s really nice with tasteful decorations, a cool ship-shaped buffet line, and even a couple TVs. They have traditional Chinese buffet offerings, along with the obligatory chicken nuggets and Americanized stuff, sushi, and even a hibachi grill. I started with the hot and sour soup, which is a favorite of mine. Theirs is quite good, and I have had many. The dumplings were good and even the wontons were very tasty. The various other items like beef and broccoli, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, green beans (nicely crunchy), and the like were all very good. You can’t say that about a lot of places. The sushi bar has a small but effective selection including salmon, tuna, and crab nigiri. I even tried the hibachi grill and everything was cooked very well, and not overcooked. Honestly, this place for the price point is a tremendous deal. I’ve been to some really bad buffets and this is not one of them. I have to bump this rating up for the $15.99 price point on a Friday night! I will definitely think of this place next time I get the craving.
❤ Great food! I ate too much! Loved the calamari, juicy fried chicken, the 1/2 pound cake &cheese cake was Top Notch along with the⭐cookie and coffee cake! My sweet waitress was all smiles polite, and attentive! Great experience!
China Flag is in my top 3 places to eat. The food is well prepared and plentiful. There will be an item for any taste or craving. If you have picky kids there won't be a problem. They are fully staffed and the service is great which is not the case at many places right now. Even though prices are going up, being able to stuff your face silly for under $20 works for me.

Busy restaurant, food mostly fresh and good. Hibachi grill service is adequate, but food is not cooked edible to your request.
It's always decent, tonight the labels were wrong. The beef was tough and dry. Egg drop soup is always good. Always a good dessert table and food was very fresh. We take our grand daughters there every time we come to Fort Worth. It's their favorite restaurant.
Basing the review off the typical Chinese buffet experience, this place is good. Food was fresh, crab ragoons actually had a decent amount of filling in them. Sesame chicken was a little mushy, but, it IS a buffet. The biggest disappointment was there were NO cones for the ice cream, only little plastic sauce cups. The selection was vast, even having chicken nugs and pizza for the weirdos.
A typical/average Chinese buffet in the DFW area. Very similar to some other buffet restaurants around. Nothing terribly yet nothing outstanding. Hot ‘n sour soup was better than competitors. Service was more friendly than other buffet restaurants.

Went to China Flag for the first time since the buffet fully reopened and was pleasantly surprised. Quality was good like it was before Covid. Large selection and everything was fresh.
🤔 I can honestly said the staff was kind and not intrusive from a buffet. My dining 👊🏻 guest and 😎 I were conflicted on our choices of what to eat as well as our review. Been here a couple of times, a lot of things didn't taste fresh but I was honestly overlooking that until I saw an adult roach with an egg sac running around ON the table. Absolutely disgusting.
I was very disappointed with our experience here. Despite visiting during the dinner rush on a Sunday, the food was cold and did not taste fresh. My daughter even discovered a piece of metal in her food, which is unacceptable. The restaurant itself appeared unclean, with noticeable dust on the ceiling. To make matters worse, shortly after returning home, my entire family experienced severe stomach issues, which speaks volumes about the quality and safety of the food. Overall, this was an extremely concerning and unpleasant dining experience. Not understanding the 4 star rating - Hopeful things change for this establishment.
I fear some of the good reviews are fake. At first it seemed just okay because we were very hungry, but the longer we stayed the worse it got. Nothing tasted fresh. The sushi was not fresh and tasted awful, the cabbage in the egg rolls seemed rotten, and all the meats were dry, tough, and had a strange plastic-like texture. A lot of the food was also cold, which can’t be good for food safety. Even the desserts were disappointing. The fruit was dried out and hard, the ice cream tasted watered down, and even the fortune cookies at the end were stale. This was at 5:00 on a Wednesday, prime dinner time, so there was really no excuse for the food to be this old and unfresh. The only positive was the service. The waiters were very polite and attentive, but unfortunately the food was so bad that it overshadowed the good service. Overall, this was one of the WORST buffet experiences I’ve had. There’s no way I’m the only one! Someone call the health dept 🤢
🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨- on 08/26/2024 I took my myself and my grandson to go have lunch there. We got there when the doors open at 11AM. My bill was $16.76 ( that’s one adult buffet and a soda). The waitress brought me the bill, I took out CASH $20.76 for the cashier in the front. I turned around to assist my grandson and was waiting for my $4 change. The cashier says you only gave me .76 cents. I said no, I gave you $20 bill and change. She says no, this is all you gave me. I said no way, I know exactly what I gave you. I let her see my wallet and told her how much tip I gave the waitress and how much I gave her. I stretch over to look at the register to see if it fell in there. The waitress said “see you didn’t give me anything “. Mind you, I was the first customer there that day. I said no, please ask your manager to come here and review your surveillance camera. I know I gave you that money. She says ok let me call my manager, my manager didn’t pick up but here’s your $4 cash back, it’s ok you can go. EXCUSE ME!! So, you’re going to give me a FREE MEAL AND $4 back??!!! Come on now. @China Flag Buffet you need to do better with your staff. I wasn’t born yesterday. It wasn’t about the money but the principle of the matter. * I felt so disappointed ☹️ (this happened on 08/26/2024 around 11:42AM. )
