The staff is friendly and the food came to us pretty quick. When they mentioned shrimp fried rice as a special item, I had to try it. I normally don’t eat fried rice in other restaurants because they taste kinda bland, but this shrimp fried rice was so good that my mouth salivated before I could take another bite. It almost made me cry, which no food hasn’t made me feel like before. If you want a chill environment with chill staff and amazing food, definitely try Certified Philly’s! Just make sure to come with an empty stomach.

We ordered take out for our staff lunch which included Wok Seared NY Steak over rice and another one over noodles, Garlic Lemon Wings w/ fries, Cajun Prawns, Garlic Prawns, House Salad, Otto's Rolls and Lumpia. Everything was delicious and fresh. I thought with a 25 min commute back to the office the lumpia might get soggy, but I was surprised at how crisp and light they all were... probably the best lumpia I've ever had! The prawns were large and cooked perfectly. The salad was so fresh and the asian cucumbers were crisp and much better than regular large seeded cucumbers. I don't know what the house dressing was but everyone really like it! This was our first order and it definitely won't be our last. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu soon!

I have been going to this restaurant since they opened. I’ve tried everything on the menu and I have to say, all the food is 10/10! The owner/chef is very friendly and takes pride in all the dishes that he cooks. The whole staff’s very nice, friendly, and hard working. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area!

Heavenly! Everything was delicious! Philly threw down on our orders and Mike knows service. Felt like family coming for Christmas dinner, keep up the great work kuya 😎. First off, the Salmon Katsu was perfectly crisped covered in delicious Japanese style katsu sauce and you have to eat the seaweed with it-I lived in Japan for 4 years and I’ve never tasted a combo like this: uh, impressed. Garlic Noodles were so delicious with extra lemon on it. Tasted like a beautiful cousin of pancit canton, so good. Sinigang-gang Lumpia’s were crisped with excellence and covered in a delectable sinigang ranch combo. And they weren’t the skinny taquito style that some people have tried to sell. Pair that with the vinegary tanginess of the suka, yes please 🙏 The Beef dish, I can’t remember the name but it was also delish. It was a bit salty for my preference but that’s probably just me. The rice will lighten the flavor so I wished it was on the side. Just preferences, but it was still so good! The Garlic Lemon Pepper Wings were nomz! Great flavor and the fries were like perfect. Just the right amount of crunch. Hella solid combo! I will be bacc, take my money!

Amazing Filipino/Hawaiian food... the best in Salinas and probably all of Monterey County. Our party of 6 enjoyed the Vegetable Fried Rice, Lumpia, Garlic Prawns, Garlic Noodles, Poke, Seared Salmon Poke, House Salad and Garlic Lemon Pepper Wings. Feels like we ordered the entire menu, as we had plenty left to take home! Hard to choose a favorite, but it had to be both of the Poke dishes and the Wings. So much flavor. Add a couple Modelos into the mix, and you have a great way to spend a Saturday evening meal with the family.

Absolutely amazing every single time I eat here. Prices are reasonable and the serving sizes are so good. I always leave full and have leftovers to take home. The flavors are on another level and the presentation of the food is so great. The space is very clean and the staff is attentive and nice. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Salinas! Chef Philly is so talented!

Best place ever! Service is amazing. I got the salmon katsu and it was the most moist salmon ive ever had in my life!!? We also got lumpia and it was cooked PERFECTLY!! Highly recommend! 💞🤩

Went in the middle of the week, and I must say 5/5, 10/10, the best dining experience I've had in Salinas. I was greeted, and an order was taken by a gentleman named Michael. He was a delight in every sense of the word. He was attentive the entire visit, had amazing suggestions on the prawns, and what dish to pair them with, all while being highly energetic & efficient. Great staff in front of the house. The owner/operator came out and introduced himself to me, Chef Philly, it was such a pleasure to have the owner introduce himself after indulging, in what I would call, the "best food in town." I ordered poke, garlic prawns with half rice and half noodles and a charred ahi tostada. I must say I've never experienced such an exquisite blend of flavors in one meal. Outstanding service, amazing food, will be back indefinitely!

Couldn’t find a place to stay in Monterrey and decided to relocate to Salinas. Found this place opened by a Culinary Institute of America alumni and what a Wao! Experience ! The tostadas were an outburst of flavors and a fine example of fusion cuisine. A foodie can tell the professional touch : the layers of seaweed , spicy tuna and the roasted topping with the coriander sprouting, an OMG!

I ordered the fried rice Wings And I think garlic noodles? Everything was delicious. Wings were absolutely perfect. Definitely worth the visit and the money 💚

We had the shrimp fried rice. Garlic butter prawns with the noodles. Cajin paresian wings and the lumpias. 10/10 recommend.

I’m pretty picky since I used to live in Hawai’i, but the seasoning on the poke was the best in this area. Service was excellent, atmosphere was fun and upbeat.
