Sushi Seven is one of my go to Sushi calm and relaxing restaurants in the heart of Stoneoak. The Seafood bowl is one of my favorite healthier choices! The noodles are thick engulfed with flavors of fresh Seafood like octopus, fish, shrimp and other such great tasting flavors. It”s definitely a Sushi party to your palette! The service is good and everyone is nice! The mini avocado rolls are so fresh and yummy! Come by and enjoy their fine food. The hot teas are so warm and delicious.
My favorite sushi place in San Antonio. Service: Perla is the perfect example of a 5 🌟 service. Restaurant: Minimalist and cozy at the same time. Patio is very nice 👌 Food: I ordered the Agedashi Tofu (appetizer), Crispy Tuna Roll*, and Cheesecake Roll* (dessert) & Espresso coffee. Everything was SUPERB! You can't go wrong with this restaurant. *Pictures below
Great food with decent atmosphere. The sushi seven roll is my favorite but everything is good.
This place is officially my favorite sushi restaurant. We haven't found good sushi like this in a long time and if you go, you have to try the soft shell.crab appetizer!
The guy that got my order was really nice and well mannered, was helpful in choosing a roll, and wasn’t bothersome in any way. He also gave me a complementary drink while I waited and was overall a great experience! I would highly recommend the bono roll, but all rolls are great!
GREAT SUSHI! Had just left a different sushi place in the area that was awful (low quality and not fresh). Came here for the first time hoping for a better experience and it was EXCELLENT!!! The Nigiri Sushi was some the freshest around, great new sushi spot, highly recommend!
Enjoyed the sushi here. Seemed to have a few uncommon choices which I really like in sushi. The fish tasted very fresh and we could watch them making out rolls at the counter. I've tried them before but only for take out. I liked sitting down in the restaurant better. Also tried the beef udon and it was delicious too.
Sushi Seven is HANDS DOWN the BEST Sushi spot in San Antonio and no other place even comes close! The go-to’s are the Alex Roll, Bono Roll, Luis Roll, and Spicy Salmon & Spicy Yellowtail hand rolls. The spicy tuna crispy rice is a must try as well (not pictured). Go here if you’re a fan of great quality, affordable prices, and unmatched service! 100/10 would recommend Sushi Seven for your next sushi craving, sushi date, or sushi experience!!!!
Chopstick lick'n good with phenomenal service. My husband and I went here for lunch and not only was thr food fresh and delicious, The service was impeccable. Our server cleared the table of anything immediately. She also made sure our drinks were full. In addition, although we didn't ask for it, she took a roll off our bill that my husband and I didn't care for. We tried to insist on paying for it since it was something new we were trying and there was no fault with the quality or presentation, just a personal preference but she wouldn't hear of it. We put the cost of the roll plus a little extra on her tip because we were just that impressed.
I loved the variety of sushi and other meals! The sushi was fresh and flavorful. The cheese kushiage was amazing and the dipping sauce was superb! The sushi seven roll was surprising and the best thing on the table! I loved Tampico on top! My husband had the Ole roll with crawfish and it had a ton of flavor and was spicy (good thing for my husband!). Definitely will be back to try other options on the menu!
Sushi was good. Service was not. And they don’t have menus so it forces you to be on your phone at the dinner table which is the opposite of what should be happening.
I went yesterday and everything was delicious but in my opinion the fried rice wasn’t fried correctly. It didn’t taste like fried rice. I forgot to take a picture of it. The appetizers and the rolls were pretty good. We order the calamari, the soft shell crab, the habanero and Tokyo roll.
Overall it was a decent sushi experience, but not amazing. I don't love the fact that they mix some Mexican flavors with the sushi, and it's not very flavorful fish. Don't get me wrong, none of it was bad, but I'm used to very fresh and tasty sushi, and this was not on pare with what I'm used to. Overall for San Antonio is probably very good, but I shall continue my quest to find good sushi here.
Sushi Seven was okay.Sushi was presented beautifully but my sushi just fell apart when I picked it up with my chop sticks. It was good but, I couldn't truly enjoy it. I had to ask for a fork. I might give them another try soon. Friend had some Fried rice with Shrimp and that was delicious! She also had a California roll and hers was not falling apart. I had a mess going on on my side of the table, couldn't even try to pick it up with my hands. I give this place 😋😋 yummy faces
If neglect were a dining concept, this place would have perfected it. We were seated and then completely forgotten20+ minutes without so much as eye contact from any staff member. No greeting. No water. No explanation. Just silence. Meanwhile, surrounding tables openly complained about empty drinks, missing sauces, and sushi that tasted far from fresh. Orders were wrong, requests vanished, and frustration was the only thing being served consistently. This restaurant may be coasting on a reputation it no longer deserves. Whatever competence or pride once existed here is gone. The current staff operates as if customers are an inconvenience rather than the reason the doors are open. If you’re thinking of spending your hard-earned money here, don’t. You’d get more value lighting it on fire—or better yet, donating it to a food bank—than paying for the privilege of being ignored and disappointed. To the owners: wake up. Your staff isn’t just dropping the ball—they’re punting your business straight into irrelevance. Customers aren’t walking out because of bad luck; they’re leaving because no one seems to care. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. Eat literally anywhere else.
When i eat at the restaurant it's really yummy but I ordered the same thing I always get but take out and the meat was completely different quality it was dry flavorless and hard to get down and on top of that it's like almost a 22$ roll so pretty disappointing the fried rice was still normal but I've been to this place for years never got this quality until I got take out so makes me feel like it was purposely done knowing I wouldn't be in the restaurant to get it fixed
an incredibly disappointing experience at sushi seven today. While I can understand that Sundays might be unexpectedly busy and staffing issues happen, there is no excuse for the complete lack of basic customer service. Simple things like checking if customers are enjoying their food, offering soy sauce, ginger, or extra plates, and being attentive to refills are pretty much bare minimum expectations at any restaurant, especially one of this size. The male manager was completely blind to both customer needs and his struggling staff. He aimlessly wandered around without ever acknowledging guests, ensuring they had what they needed, or even making eye contact. When he dropped off our food, he didn’t confirm if the order was correct or if we needed anything, he simply walked away! It was honestly one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. We waited forever to be greeted and then waited even longer to get our food. We honestly just thought about cancelling and leaving but unfortunately we made the wrong decision by deciding to stick it out. Then we were trapped for even longer period to cash out. Not a single acknowledgement from anyone, manager again just turns a blind eye. Really poor service and I won’t be returning.
