Light as air donuts! We came in on a Sunday morning and the place was slammed and we were lucky to get the last chocolate donut. Don't be fooled by the name, it's a full restaurant that was serving up some amazing looking food as well!
I've been coming here for many years. Service is good and the food is great. The staff is so friendly too.
Love the toasted bean and cheese with bacon, online orders work 79% of the time because they are so slammed. Sweet tea tastes fresh as well, crazy busy on Saturday but makes sense
Fri. 11-12-21 Food is good along with their donuts. This location was packed with customers, but service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thank You for taking time to read this review Please Follow my reviews on Google, and Please give me a Thumbs Up
Ate green enchiladas so good! They ran out of calabacita😔 (Squash with chicken) Ran out of capirotada (bread pudding) 😔
You cannot miss with this place for both tacos and donuts. My friend who’s from San Antonio and I took a trip up there I have never been but this was always her favorite place. I see now why. I honestly could not decide between the donuts and the tacos, which were my favorite. Prepared to wait because they are extremely busy, but the wait is worth it!! This is a must stop at on your way through or to San Antonio. Also keep in mind they close at 2 PM daily. Get here PDQ
While there are donuts, the real star of the show are the tacos. The donuts are a nice snack while you wait in line for your taco order. It's often crowded with the line wrapped around the building for the drive thru and it's also packed inside. It's an impressive operation they have going and watching the tacos being made right in front of you is really cool. The tacos are delicious and a must try. Everything is fresh and flavorful.
If you're in San Antonio this place is a must stop. Large selection of tacos and dishes. Food is always good. Good portions too.
Hands down the best breakfast tacos in San Antonio. Highly recommend a bean and cheese taco with bacon Toasted.
Hands down one of the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had in my life, and I have eaten breakfast tacos for pretty much my whole entire life so that says a lot! The tortilla I can tell was so fresh and homemade and just noticeably different and quality compared to any other place and store-bought tortillas. I could tell was so hot and fresh and the perfect texture. I got the potato and egg breakfast taco, And even with such simple ingredients it just tasted so quality and you can really tell that it was made fresh. I will continue to dream about this place. My boyfriend got one of the most popular menu items, and he loved it as well, and he says that he doesn’t even Like breakfast tacos like that! I 110% recommend if you’re visiting San Antonio and I will always recommend this place. I cannot recommend it enough. Customer service and overall attitude of the employees were amazing and they were super nice and accommodating! So high-quality and yet so cheap. I am going to really miss this place and I wish I bought a lot more.
Still the same great place for tacos I've been going to since high school.. been getting food here for over 20 years and now my kids love it too!
Well this place is Pressure. So good. I got Carne guisada with cheese. The meat is tender the gravy is very tasty and the homemade tortillas are Super Bueño. Very nice Staff and they have amazing donuts as well I got donut holes and some glazed donuts that were very light and had a lil crunch that was a good thing like the edges. drive thru was insane but went in and ordered and didn't take long . So if you don't know now you do. Go check it out and support local.
We love their toasted tacos, and the fact that you can order a strip of bacon on a taco (instead of chopped bacon). The chorizo potato was so delicious, and not greasy!
Every time I pass by, there is a line of cars, so I would never try anything. This time, I was looking for donuts for my son's class, so I called them to ask if they would put a "Happy Birthday" message on top of some donuts... When I came to pick up the order, I had spare time to eat my lunch, The food was pretty good and the service amazing. Oh yeah, and I was blown away with what they did for my son.
The food is absolutely delicious! I love this place, the only inconvenient you may have is the fact is always full. ❤️
This place is amazing. We stopped for breakfast tacos and apple fritters. They did not disappoint. Very friendly service. I had the bean and cheese taco, as well as the egg and bacon. Could not finish both but they are delicious. Hubby had the chorizo and egg tacos, amazing as well. The fritters were the best that we have ever had.
Best breakfast tacos in San Antonio! And amazing prices. The chilaquiles taco is my favorite
First time here and all the hype is correct. The breakfast tacos are very very good. The tortillas make the difference. They are made on site and are big and soft and fluffy. Great tacos. Highly recommend!!!
This place has incredible tacos! Delicious and very reasonably priced. Best tacos I've had in SA. Sad we couldn't try the donuts we got there at 1 and they were all sold out.
Man, let me tell you somethin’ — this place right here? The Original Donut Shop? WOO! Soon as you walk in, you smell that breakfast hittin’ you like, ‘Wake yo’ butt up!’ I’m talkin’ eggs, bacon, tortillas — everything smellin’ like somebody’s grandma been back there cookin’ since 5 a.m.!” “I took one bite of that food and said, ‘Dang! Who cooked this? An angel? Somebody’s abuela with superpowers?’ Because this ain’t regular breakfast — this is spiritual! This is the kinda food that make you call people you don’t even like and tell ’em, ‘Hey man… I forgive you.’” “And the service? FAST! Friendly! They move like they got somewhere to be — like they’re tryin’ to save the world one taco at a time. I ordered, blinked, and BOOM — food on the table. I said, ‘Hold up, y’all got The Flash workin’ back there?’”
Amazing & consistent Service for decades. Beautiful Staff with Quick Service Amongst Busy Times of Day. This is my favorite restaurant in whole city. I Never tire of eating here. Very clean Dining Area. Great Selection of Freshly made Donuts, and Full Breakfast/Plate/Entree Menu. SOME CUSTOMERS selfishly by full trays of donuts so get there early. However the staff always aims to serve EVERY single person, no matter what, 7 days a week. Food till 2pm, Donuts until sell out, CREDIT/DEBIT Accepted. Please come with Respect towards these Women & Men. You will enjoy your meals & Pastries. I am glad they only have one location, allowing focus on quality control. 100% recommend. I do not leave a review unless a place has earned it.
Wow! This place is as authentic as they come. Great breakfast tacos...any variety you can imagine. Home-made tortillas. Awesome donuts. Very friendly staff. Fast service. There were more than 12 cars in the drive thru line and several customers inside, but it still only took about 5 minutes to get our food. We sat outside on their large patio. I wish I lived closer to this place, I would be here a few times a week. A must visit if you're in the San Antonio area.
Might be the best restaurant in the world. Tacos are top-notch and donuts are the icing on the cake. I’d recommend 2 tacos and a donut for the best breakfast of your life.
Have only done the drive through but the taco and salsa was good. I came to try their apple fritter and it was wonderful. The long wait just means it's popular, so stop whining.
Really good tacos. We had the carne guisada, bean and cheese, papas rancheras. It was very good, the taco salsa was very good as well. I noticed a lot of people were getting there tacos toasted so that might be the plan next time I’m here. The doughnuts were fresh and well made. The red one and the apple fritter was my favorite. The line was nuts though. Cars lined up down the street, and inside was lined from register to door the entire time I was there (Sunday 9am).
By far some of the best breakfast tacos that I have had. Weekends are crazy busy here so make sure you get there early so you’re not in line too long. For the price, you definitely can’t beat it and the food is amazing. What’s even better is that you have the option of getting tacos or donuts all within the same shop.
If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. So good, so fresh. I didn’t have their donuts but the breakfast tacos were delicious. Tortillas are made fresh. I ordered 3 breakfast tacos, expecting them to be small, but they were loaded with so much eggs/potato/cheese that I could barely eat two! Unfortunately I live all the way in Ohio and can’t have these on a regular basis, or else I’d be there almost every day.
The Original Donut Shop will NOT disappoint! This place is always busy, but the staff work hard to make your visit as quick as can be. Drive through traffic goes out into the street. Went in on a Friday at 10 and it wasn't too busy, as soon as I put my order in and sat down to wait for it, I looked over at the line and there were at least 10-12 new customers. The food they serve you is upfront behind glass so you can see what you're getting as well as tortillas being made in view. The staff is friendly and quick. Place your order, seat yourself, wait for your number to be called get your food and eat. Tables are clean and well spaced out, not crowded. We had breakfast tacos and had a bit of almost everything. Chicharon guisado, great flavor, Carne guisada excellent flavor and meat was extremely tender, pica dillo very good flavor, papas a la mexican yum, chorizo y papas and the potato cubes were extremely soft, and shredded chicken, fantastic and extremely tender! If you want real Mexican breakfast, this is the place to be! Will bring back memories of grandmas kitchen! But wait, there's more, you can't eat there without getting a Donut! They are soft and delicious, not too sweet, but packed with flavor! I will return and do recommend!
Homemade tortillas, chicken tacos with crispy shell is fireeeeee. Salsa is fire. Donuts are classics
The food is so delicious from the breakfast tacos to the plates to the sides. My favorites are the Huevos Rancheros, refried beans and enchiladas. Don't forget to grab some donuts 😋
Donuts were super soft and delicious. The lady that took our order didn't smile, didn't say hi, just muttered what can I get for you. Service could be better but donuts were spectacular.
Dined in at the Original Donut Shop on Fredericksburg Rd. They had plenty of tables and a patio area outside. I noticed when we were ordering they had a drive thru line that was backed up onto the road. The cooking area is open so you can literally see all the workers making the tacos. They had plenty of workers that were getting the customers taken care of pretty quick. We ordered 6 tacos, 3 drinks, and 5 donuts totaling $34.53 (before tip). Overall the tacos were hot & the donuts were soft and flavorful.
It was the breakfast tacos for me! Made a quick visit to San Antonio in order to evacuate for Hurricane Laura and ate at this place twice for breakfast. There was a good size drive thru line both times I went. I really appreciate their online order/pick up option. Prices were decent and the food was good, not greasy. The key ingredient to breakfast tacos is the hot sauce if you ask me, and theirs was on point! To me the donuts were okay, they weren't great. But then again I ate around 11:30 so maybe got the leftovers...? I'll give them another try when I am around. **Their curbside service didn't seem too effective. I ordered online and then text the number once I arrived and never got a response or my food. I had to pull in at the front of the building and shortly after someone came up to my car asking if I had an order. Was irritated about this at first considering the time I waited, but was quickly soothed by their breakfast tacos and had a better experience the next time I went.
Best donuts and breakfast tacos in all of Texas or at least on that day I tried this place for the first time. I was skeptical at first about donuts but once I tried the jelly filled donuts, I was hooked and the breakfast tacos are super delicious.
Absolutely recommend this place. We went there for breakfast with a big group. Everyone was pleased with their food. The tacos are delish. We tried a few and a cup of coffee. The only downfall is that the place seems a bit dirty and unorganized. It could definitely use a face lift for as much clientele as they serve they also need more seating space. If we’re ever on the area aging we definitely would stop by but would prefer take out than dine in.
First time stopping in today and I was very pleased with the true old school atmosphere! When you’re in line to order tacos you can see the ladies making fresh tortillas! Great service and very efficient! The donuts are wonderful too! I’m so glad I stopped in while I was in the area! Heads up on the parking- it’s one way in coming off of Fredericksburg Road. I found that out the hard way by coming in the wrong entrance with my large pickup truck and having to turn around to get properly parked before going inside. This place is busy- I advise ordering ahead during busier times.
Last stop in San Antonio before heading back home and I LOVE THIS PLACE. My weak spot are donuts and tacos and this place had BOTH. Breakfast tacos (chorizo/egg, bean/cheese/bacon), chalupa were PHENOMENAL. Highly highly recommend. Such a good vibe inside. Busy yet still organized with efficient staff (not the friendliest but get the job done well). I am definitely coming back here next time. Also it was only 15 dollars total so CHEAP.
Best breakfast in San Antonio, hands down. You can get in the taco/plate line on the left or the donut line on the right. The breakfast tacos are awesome. The migas plate was slightly greasy, but the refried beans are amazing, salsa is tasty, and the back porch is a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning. It’s crowded but not too much.
The service was nice and quick. The food was absolutely delicious. We will be coming back tomorrow. We didn't get any donuts, just tacos. The tortillas were homemade and thick, absolutely delicious. The meat was super tender. We got 2 carne guisada tacos with cheese and potatoes, beef fajita taco, and carne asada taco. I would suggest no potato with the carne guisada, it's perfectly fine by itself. The fajita with the onions and bell peppers was amazing. My husband said the carne asada was good, but next time he'll get the fajita instead. As soon as we finished a guy came and cleaned our table for us. Service was outstanding, and prices were very reasonable. They have a drive thru as well.
Good Barbacoa! This place was exactly what I was hoping what it would be food wise. I got myself some bean & cheese (with bacon), Barbacoa, and a bacon & egg breakfast tacos. These are my go to's when trying a breakfast taco spot for the first time and they were all good. My girlfriend got a Chorizo & Egg taco which I had a bite of and that was good as well. This place is officially on my list of recommended places for the area now. Check them out!
This place was the winner for best breakfast tacos on my latest visit to San Antonio. Nothing fancy, just classic, old school breakfast tacos done right. The flour tortillas were clearly fresh and the fillings full of flavor. Of those I tried, my favorite was the chorizo and egg. I’ll be back!
It’s a favorite place for old timers for authentic and freshly made from scratch tacos and donuts. Friendly service and accessible location. Value priced and some of the best tacos one could find in San Antonio.
They are not that friendly. I know they are busy, but a smile or so would work. However, the food is great. Never disappoints. I ordered the carne guisada plate and it was delicious andy hubby ordered chorizo and egg tacos. They were pretty big. The prices on me u are incorrect. They do need to be updated to the actual pricing. It's deceiving. Other than that we enjoyed a great meal.
Haven’t been here in years glad to see everything still made fresh. My order got messed up, but they fixed it promptly and gave me the difference and change. They overcharged me for another taco, but I ordered something less expensive. That being said they took care of it no big deal. Only thing is it gets crowded here so that means it’s good so but that also means limited space sat at the counter and got bumped like three times sitting in my stool so I recommend sitting at a table.
Craving donuts and breakfast tacos? You don’t have to choose. The Original Donut Shop on Fredericksburg Rd is a local favorite that lets you indulge in both without making two stops. Be prepared—it gets busy. Whether you're going through the drive-thru or dining in, get there early or plan to wait. The drive-thru has two lines: one for donuts and tacos, and a separate one for tacos only. Just note: if you're in the drive-thru, you won’t see the full donut selection like you would inside. On my first visit, I ordered: A small apple fritter A cinnamon crumble donut A chocolate-filled donut Two bacon & egg breakfast tacos (with red and green salsa) All of that came to about $14.50. Highlights: Apple Fritter: Great flavor, classic and tasty. Cinnamon Crumble: Outstanding. Moist cake texture with just the right amount of cinnamon—my favorite of the bunch. Chocolate-Filled Donut: Light, fluffy, with a rich chocolate center and just the right glaze. Breakfast Tacos: Simple and solid. The red salsa is spicier than average (in a good way), and the green salsa is flavorful and fresh. Both complemented the tacos really well. Final Verdict: Great food at a reasonable price. If you're in San Antonio and want a one-stop breakfast shop that covers sweet and savory, the Original Donut Shop is absolutely worth the visit.
This is a little gem. I was originally looking for donuts and found they have tacos as well!!! Two of my favorites in one place. The donut are hot and fresh and really melt in your mouth. The chocolate glaze is really chocolate and not artificial flavors. The tortillas are made my hand. With the drive and parking.
A friend recommended this place. They like to use the drive through for a taco or something fast on the way to work. The line was long for a Saturday morning so we decided to park and go inside. There was plenty of parking and almost no line to order inside. We found a menu and ordered a potato and egg taco, bean and cheese taco, huevos rancheros plate, and sweet tea. I was impressed they were making the flour tortillas fresh at the front. There is a separate checkout for donuts and we got an apple fritter, lemon filled, and 2 chocolate filled long John’s. Everything looked delicious. The food was delicious and the service was excellent!
If you are looking for great authentic Tex-Mex this is the spot! We visit every time we pass through San Antonio. The lines may seem long but the service is very quick.
Glazed donuts are melt in your mouth fresh, every single time I have gone. I tried their breakfast tacos and we're delicious with fresh homemade tortillas. I am very pick about tortillas since I make them homemade in my household and they were perfect, not under cooked or overly cooked, just right. Friendly service!!
The food here is amazing! Service is always great, employees are always nice. I usually get bean and cheese tacos but today I got a barbacoa taco and omg. It was delicious 😋. No fat in it whatsoever. I'm very picky when it comes to that. Their menudo is soooo good as well. Great restaurant ☺️ Oh & their donuts are good too.

First off, the hospitality was on point. The place was packed but they still had a very good donut selection. The ambiance is a little basic but not bad.

Go here for the breakfast tacos!! Ordered: Bacon & egg ($2.49) and added cheese ($.50) Papa Ranchera (add egg $.75/add bacon ($.85) Carne asada ($3.49) Carne Mexicana ($3.49) Bean & cheese Toasted ($1.99) These were all great choices. I’d go back again for the Mexicana, papa ranchera and bean and cheese toasted. The asada one was just meat and my kids wanted more to it. And the bacon and egg was decent as well. What I LOVE the most is the quality of ingredients. The bacon is THICK. The tortillas are large and fresh. Tacos were so good I forgot to take a photo to post. We also got a dozen donuts (mixed glaze and cake with frosting and sprinkles) and a long John (my boy likes this one). The donuts are not that great. We would not get them again. Parking is limited. Drive thru was packed and going out into the street. service is fairly quick. We were there about 20 minutes total getting donuts and tacos. Took them “to go”. Place was incredibly busy. We visited on a Monday at 10:30, so I can only imagine how busy a weekend would be!
I hadn't been here since the pre pandemic days. I wasn't impressed during my 1st visit. So I decided to give them a 2nd chance. I walked in and grabbed a bean, cheese & bacon Taco, TO-GO. The beans were freshly made, and I got lucky. The beans were a bit salty but overall tasty. The flour tortillas were freshly made and soft! The thick cut bacon was delicious. Most of the food handlers are older women, so expect your order to be a bit slow and perhaps with a few mistakes. They do hustle, though. Needless to say, I enjoyed my experience today, and I'll be coming back again for more tacos and donuts. Come check them out for yourself!
The donuts at this place... *chefs kiss*. The best I have ever had. Incredible. The tacos were good... but not work the 40 min drive I made for them. Nothing super special. Nice staff.
So the tortilla is thicker than what I'm used to, but it was super fluffy. I had to run a few errands before I could sit and eat these, so I thought the tortilla would be soggy, but it tasted fresh and hot. I ordered Carne guisada, and it was tasty. I wish it could have been slightly spicy, but that's why they gave me salsa, which didn't pack much heat. It wasn't anything amazing, but it was good and definitely worth the money. It's also good portions of stuffing in the tacos. I ordered two but I'm sure I can only finish one.
One of the best places in San Antonio to get tacos and donuts. Great breakfast tacos. Fast service.
Had been wanting to try this place for a while. Such a bustling place on a cold rainy morning! People lined up at the counter waiting to order, picking up to go, busy drive-thru window, separate doughnut counter line, homemade tortillas flipping...there's A LOT going on! I managed to order doughnuts and tacos on the doughnut side, while also having them pick out a mixed dozen. Have to say the doughnut counter girl was extremely friendly regardless of the orders being yelled across the place. She did forget to make my dozen as I went to pick up tacos (READY REALLY FAST!) but quickly apologized and loaded them up. I'd like to return to try other breakfast items. Other than the doughnuts, I think the big draw here are the tortillas. I know everyone has their style of flour tortillas, but as impressive as they look, I found them a little too dense for my liking. It's good, don't get me wrong, just a tad too thick and dense, especially if you want more than one. The fillings were just a'ight ...my potato & egg needed a bit more potato, and the guisado was on par with others I've had elsewhere. Still, the old-school atmosphere and friendliness definitely makes me want to return for another visit! 😀 They doughnuts rocked!
This was the 1st spot on our search for best breakfast tacos in SA. We did venture into donut territory so it was only right we try them as well. Good donuts, nothing i couldn't get anywhere else though. My go to taco order (bacon, egg, potato, bean and cheese) was fresh and hot with great flavor. I enjoyed both salsas we were given as well. Very tasty carne guisada with cheese, enough to rival any of the best ones I've had before. 4.4 would return for any meal
Authentic breakfast tacos and donuts at a great price! I got the bean & cheese, bean & cheese w/bacon toasted, and the chorizo & egg. All were filled nicely. I could barely finish all 3 tacos. They are made fresh and came out hot. The salsa is good to add some flavor spice. I poured it all over all my tacos. I wanted to get the cinnamon crumb cake donut since heard good things but they were out so I got the cinnamon twist donut which was solid. Had an original donut and nice cinnamon taste. It wasn’t fresh when I got it but I can’t be upset about that since I went at 1. Service isn’t friendly but it wasn’t bad enough to steer me away. Definitely worth checking out and I’ll be back.
Don't let the name fool you—while the donuts are tempting, you'll be missing out if you only come here for a sweet treat. The Original Donut Shop is a San Antonio institution, and for good reason. They serve up some seriously good Tex-Mex, and their lunch specials are a fantastic value. On our last visit, we both ordered the Verdes enchilada special. For just $9.99, it was a steal. The plate was loaded with Tex-Mex goodness, and the enchiladas themselves were quite delicious. But the real star of the show was the homemade tortillas. They were fresh and warm, and really elevated the meal. The special also came with a drink, making it an excellent deal that left us completely satisfied. The service was incredibly efficient and quick, perfect for a lunch break. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a beloved local taco joint—bustling and no-frills, with a comfortable, authentic feel. You'll leave feeling full and happy, with a renewed appreciation for Tex-Mex done right.

Great service pancakes and eggs were good but I got the waffle burger and it wasn't good the meat wasn't decent and I ate like a 1/3 of it. For a $16 burger it was disappointing.
Don’t get full with false signs. They won’t tell you the truth about the holes donuts until you pay for it. But really, do you see that those mini extra tiny donuts have a holes? They call this donuts holes but in the reality that’s how they get you… with the price… and false announcement. Then I asked for carne asada and they gave me carne guisada. After give a bite they preferred to throw taco I was eating than just saying, is our misunderstanding you can have that taco I’ll bring the one you ordered. Waste of food really. But I’m talking about service and bad customer treatment.
We waited about 30 minutes, so I'd say this place is super popular. I would plan on at least some amount of wait. First, I'll say that the tortillas are really good. My boyfriend said the barbacoa was not overly fatty with a typical taste that you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. My carne guidada taco was similar. It was good but not 30 minute wait good. I got a chocolate cream long john that was pure sugar, way too sweet for my liking. My boyfriend enjoyed his glazed donut. Overall I probably would not try these donuts again but the tacos I would try again.
I've been going to original donut shop, many many years. But the last 2 times I've gone drive through. My potato and eggs taco had egg shells unable to eat half the taco. The picadillo was good. But the donuts have gone downhill. My previous time I order 2 glazed donuts they where so much smaller, smaller than palm of my hand. I thought ok maybe these 2bjust came out small and I was the one to get them. But this time I order 1 cake donut and again it was small and skinny, dry and breaking apart. I don't think I will be back.
I see rave reviews about the tacos at The Original Donut Shop. Indeed, cars are lined up down Fredericksburg Rd., waiting to get in. I wanted to try their carne guisada; I'm always looking for an e…
I think ownership or management changed. Donuts used to be soft, large, fluffy and delicious. The ones we bought today were not. It has been a long time since I’ve been there so I don’t know wh…

It was a real bummer went in today and everybody at the donut shop had a really bad attitude so the people running the register had blank facial expressions and just a really sour attitude. Donuts are good. Just leaves a bad taste in your mouth when the people working are very unpleasant and unhappy.
Tacos were good, however the service is what really captures a customer and unfortunately the Mexican patio of the shop failed. The woman taking our order around noon on 6/13/23 (was wearing glasses, I was told her name was Corey not sure) but she was rude with her response when asked a simple question over a beverage. We were NOT rude given the fact that she was an older woman. The shop is great maybe just change the person taking orders to someone more open and less rude.
Two stars because the guisada is very good just such a pain to have to drive 20 minutes, wait in the line which extends onto the street, just to receive the wrong order then have to drive 20 minutes back, wait in line AGAIN, then have to drive 20 minutes back home. I ordered 4 tacos totaling close to $17 and got an order with 2 bean and cheese😭. I felt like I was being pranked. Moral of the story, check your order before you leave, especially if you make a drive to come and get the tacos.
If you order barbacoa be sure to ask for cilantro and onion, usually taco places include this but they dont. The migas taco was really sad, it had very little egg a ton of tortillas chips and no onions, jalapeño or tomatoes. I had to drown that thing in salsa due to how dry that thing was. Definitely not worth the long wait if youre going through the drive through. The bean and cheese taco is ok.
I hear so may wonderful things about this place. I had their donuts and their bacon and egg tacos. Neither menu items were impressive. My son loves this place. I still can't figure out why. I think they are overpriced and the taste doesnt hit the spot. Donuts in my opinion are the spotlight and that's not sayong a lot.
had the RUDEST experience with the cashier “STEVEN” in drive thru. The food is always great, but I never had an issue until now. I live in the area and love coming to support the business. But if this is who will be serving the community, I’ll reconsider my decision. As a food service worker myself, it is never busy or serious enough to be treated the way I was by him.
This place has gone down hill. I used to love their food. Ordered cheese enchiladas and the sauce was horrible. Lots of pepper ..also chicken fajita had a green tint and funny smell. The only thing that saves this place is the tortillas. Someone needs to redo some of those recipes or retrain the cooks. Really hope the food improves.
I don’t mind when there’s a language barrier, but when you mess up my order then tell me you did not it just frustrates me; especially when you refuse to correct it and tell me I’m wrong. Given I understand chorizo is a sausage it’s not sausage 🤷🏽♂️ She made something simple, very frustrating. Management needs to speak to their employees about these things. Check your receipts people.
I give it 2 stars because the tacos are good. I’ve been thru the drive thru 2 times and the “lady” at the window was truly rude and unhelpful both times. I don’t care how good the tacos are, it’s not worth dealing with someone with such a bad attitude. I will be sure to spread the word on this one. There are too many great Mexican restaurants to waste your time and money here!
Just left here. Ordered through the drive thru speaker. Food looks good, the only downside was that the girl taking the order was extremely rude. She cut my husband off twice when he was still trying to order. Like he was midsentence when she started talking over him...I know they're busy but damn. The girl at the window that took the payment, however, reviewed our order to make sure everything was correct. Plus she let us add the drinks.

I admire the dedication to an ice-less experience. After multiple visits, it’s clear this place has made a firm decision to exclude ice from the premises altogether. Bold choice.
First and last time I will be coming to this establishment. Ordered a hot chocolate came with a greasy cup and onions inside of my chocolate! The sweet tea I ordered was very bland no sugar whatsoever inside. The tacos I ordered were fine but I don’t under stand how they got onions in the hot chocolate! Will never be going back spent 27$ for ugly and miss made drinks and when I asked for it to be corrected they wanted to recharge me! Extremely disappointed with the establishment and service workers
Young man taking orders. Yells at people, rude, not polite at All. You can tell he doesn't care. He has white stuff all over his head and all over his shirt. Scratching head and doesn't care. It's like he knows no one can tell him anything. Food is Delicious. Young man with short hair and no hair net near the Food is Gross.
Ordered two bacon and egg tacos, was charged 5.39 not bad I thought when I saw how stuffed the tacos were but after first bite I understood why these eggs were as hard as a rock I have no idea how old those eggs were but it was awful and I didnt have time to go back and complain. Sucks to because it was the first time in years since I last ate here and I always loved it but it seems like they keep those eggs waiting for me from back then. I wont be returning ever again.
On Friday, my sister & I went to the Donut Shop for a couple of tacos, & while the food is good, the level of service is the pits. All those women working the assembly line are all very rude. Most of them don’t know how to speak English & they make faces if you ask them for a fork or extra napkins. I was beside myself with the treatment that was extended to me. They’re joking & laughing amongst themselves & forget about the customers. I for one had to wait 5-7 minutes for my order & they only gave it to me because I had to ask for it. The woman that was the manager had terrible customer service skills, she refused to give me napkins & her & another employee laughed about it. When I complained, they tried to turn it around by telling me if I didn’t like it for me not to come back & they blamed me for complaining. I have a mind to sue the Donut Shop for hiring people that have no manners, no customer service skills nor any idea how to treat customers. By having such people running the business is a good way for the owners to lose their customers. Remember, you’re only open for business as long as you have customers.
We get breakfast from here every single morning. I understand they get busy and sometimes mistakes are made. But they have been messing up simple things leaving food out we pay for and onto it off rude as hell! I’ve stood there and listened to them talk so bad about customers. Today the messed up again!! And if you’re waiting you expect to get your order right and it’s always the same order!!
People were nice not going to deny that. But food wise: When I saw the videos they looked good to try, but the tacos were mid at best with little to no seasoning and the donuts were pretty small. Wouldn’t give another try personally. 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve been coming here for years, but unfortunately the service has gone downhill. Today they got my order wrong and forgot one of my tacos. When I went up to let them know, the employee asked if she had already given me an extra taco I told her no. She then came around the counter to my table and started touching all of my food with her gloves without asking. I asked her to stop touching my food, but she continued and then walked away. This was very unprofessional and unsanitary. I’ve always supported this place, but experiences like this make it hard to keep coming back. I hope management addresses both order accuracy and how customers are treated.
This sucks to write bc usually this place is great. The past couple of months I've ordered tacos and they've been a little off, either not enough beans or the tacos weren't toasted or something was left out; small things. Not that big of a deal. Today however, I ordered two toasted bean and cheese tacos and I received a bean only taco and another taco that had some melted cheese and a slice of bacon, that looks like someone threw it out and then just wrapped it again. I called to maybe get a refund or to be told to swing back by for tacos and I was put on hold three times after repeating my story each time and the employees acting confused. I really hope whatever is going on with this place gets better along with customer service.
First time I go through the drive thru the young guy came outside and took my order was very nice and I gave him my card so he could charge me. I received a text when they ran my card through which is fine. When I got to the window the same guy gave me my order and I asked him for my card he said he gave it to me I informed him he never came back outside to return it back to me. He proceeded to go to the back and I’m assuming to ask around or looked around for it and never found it and like if nothing just said well I don’t have it and proceeded to close the window on my face and moved along to another customer. I was in in shock how he just did that without a care in the world since it wasn’t his card to his checking account. so who knows if he gave it to someone else by mistake but for him to just move along without a care in the world not even to at least apologize or say can I have your name and number just in case it was just misplaced and they found it there would have been a kind gesture. BUT NO! Everyone speaks so highly of this place and like I said I have only been there one other time in my whole life but I got off to order and this was my first experience in the drive thru NEVR AGAIN! So total of twice at this place lesson learned. Had to call and cancel my card immediately and now I have to wait 7-10 days to receive a new card in the mail.
