Went last night 03/24 (a Monday!) and gotta say that group of girls was amazing. Their energy was so much fun and they were so nice to me. Crazy talented with their dancing and singing skills. One girl could bend ways I’ve never seen before. All of them were so cool and made me 100% want to come back ASAP. Love!!!

This place is so much fun! We always have a blast coming here!! I've been on the bar a few times with the girls, and always encourage others to go up even if you're scared/shy because it's just about having fun, the girls are the ones putting on the big show! Weekends it can get pretty crowded, but the crowd comes and goes. There's quite a lot of security inside, and they're very nice and can help you out with any weirdos or up/down the bar. All the girls are super nice too!!

My little brother and I came to San Antonio for his 24th birthday and dropped in for what was supposed to be a couple drinks- haha! Ended up staying all night. Angie was a doll! Handled the crowd gracefully and stayed personable. Such a beautiful young woman inside and out, she made our first time experience in San Antonio one to remember. The bar has a jukebox system which is what really sold my brother and I to stay, you can’t find that anywhere else downtown. Definitely “cinematically” accurate, top recommendation for people passing through.

Great place to add to a bucket list if your visiting Riverwalk..fun, bartenders do their best to get customers to participate in harmless fun. Bar dancing and belly shots. Tourist attraction .. bit pricey. worth a visit

We came in as a big group during a work event and were not let down by the daring and entertaining atmosphere at this place. Brittany is a professional badass and a hard worker. She and some nice gals kept the drinks flowing on time and kept things fun and lively. I needed a receipt after the fun was over and Michael the manager hooked me up through email. Thanks for the great experience and I plan on dropping in when in San Antonio again.

After being out of the country for 3 years, this was my first American bar experience since then. Not only that, but we went there to celebrate our family reuniting and daughter's advance birthday. So, with my mom and daughter being with me, the staff had plenty of jokes, and made the night far more interesting...with my daughter even getting up on the bar. Great attitudes, jokes and entertainment, the staff really creates a fun customer experience. Thanks for the memorable time! As a side note- I would say this place undoubtedly supports military/veterans/DoD personnel...always great to see (thanks).

Always love visiting coyote ugly! The atmosphere is electric! And the girls are so attentive and witty. Also they have the BEST tacos on the river walk directly outside on the patio. If you’ve never been or are a fan of the movie I highly suggest popping in and checking it out. Maybe even dance the night away on the bar top!

Fun fun fun even for eight, 60 and 70yr Olds! Ha! We came across the bar after eating across the street at whataburger. Besides us there were only about 10 people in the bar. The bartender/singer/dancer was a hoot! We all had fun doing a little day drinking! It's been at least 20 yrs since I've been in a coyote ugly's, and it was just as fun! The doorman/bouncer was really cool too! Besides the river walk, this was the highlight of our trip to San Antonio!

They had tricks and dance parties on the bar top. They had games for the patrons to interact with other guests. Hot potato with beers and other fun interactive games. Nice place overall, and most of the bartenders were very nice. However, one bartender was very rude. Also, as women, we noticed that no one asked us what we wanted to order to drink, which was disappointing.

Fun stop in downtown SA. Didn't stay too long on a weeknight, but I imagine the weekends get pretty crazy here.

During a recent visit to San Antonio, I was thrilled to find a Coyote Ugly bar, especially since the one in Dallas closed before I had a chance to experience it. However, my excitement was met with a mix of surprises and letdowns. First impressions were that the bar was much smaller than I had imagined. It had a cozy, dive bar atmosphere that I appreciated. Yet, the size left me wanting more space to move around and enjoy the night. Inside, I expected to see the bartenders performing synchronized dances on the bar, reminiscent of the Coyote Ugly movie scenes. Instead, there was very little of that. Most of the time, only one girl was on the bar, often with a microphone, yelling and screaming at the crowd. This got old quickly and detracted from the experience I had envisioned. One of the more awkward moments was when they promoted body shots. The idea of a lady dancing on you while feeding you a shot felt forced and uncomfortable, rather than fun and engaging. Especially, when we said no multiple times and she kept persistently asking. I think one “no” is enough and move on. On a positive note, I did get the chance to dance on the bar, which was a highlight of the night. That moment was fun and allowed me to let loose and enjoy myself. Overall, I had higher hopes for Coyote Ugly in San Antonio. The reality was a dull experience with missed opportunities to create the lively, entertaining atmosphere I was hoping for.

VERY busy location. Men's restroom was broken & limited, this took away from the overall experience. Our fast, friendly bartender turned this visit around into a positive visit.

My wife and I stopped in. The atmosphere was decent and staff was to be expected. They do overpour their drinks which can be a pro or a con. We sat at the bar to see the "show" and potentially be part of it. I found a long hair in my drink that was actually frozen in one of the ice cubes. Overal it was just okay.

I guess the Sunday dancers weren't ready. Not one had any moves. Owners should really send them to a pole dancing class, so they could acquire some moves.

Also of you lost the game you were expeted to purchase merch or a shot as punishment. So heads up anout that Again - fun place. Great girls just doing their jobs to make tips. But we were not expecting to be pulled into their games. Just wanted a quiet, quick drink before a concert.

This is the dirtiest, nasty & trashiest place in San Antonio. I took a friend there and we turned around and left once the trashy girls got on the bar and tried to dance. It was offensive and i felt embarrassed for these girls. The customers in there were just as rude . If you want a nice classy place , don’t go to Coyote Ugly in SA. Bathrooms are extremely dirty, entire place is dirty. Had 1 beer and left. Mix drinks were terrible , I don’t think any of them are licensed bartenders . They cannot make an old fashion drink 🙄

Mostly young adults who still haven't learned to drink responsibly. I guess that's good if it's what you're looking for. My party visited this establishment due to a lack of options. Even though we paid a cover, we left in less than half an hour. If you are a normal mature adult, then this place is probably not for you.

The tacos were putrid, smelled rancid, gave me food poisoning. Rip to my stomach cause it’ll never be the same again😞. Idk what kind of food poisoning this is but let me tell you it’s atomic and with the taste of those tacos it is definitely not worth it🤒.

Unfortunately nothing good to say about this place. Starting with the rude bouncer / security (back entrance). Then you get drinks that are not full and to finish with some spoiled food is just absolutely terrible. If you decide to eat here just make sure to smell the food before you try it. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Tried to get a drink in here for 10 mins but no one was ever available. I just wanted a soda for the tacos outside. I asked one dude behind the counter if he could help me and he said he wasn't a bar tender so no. I asked even if it's for a coke? Still no. That's cool, I understand but I asked who could help me and he motioned towards all the bartenders dancing on the bar. It was damn near impossible to get their attention and they were up there for like 3 songs. No one ever came to the other side of the bar. The dude just walked away. I get that you can't serve beer but you could've let one of the bartenders know. It was really awkward trying to to wave down one of the bartenders dancing and even then, not one ever came down.

We decided to go out to Coyote Ugly for our last night in town. As soon as we walk in we see dancing on the bar which is cool right? Keep that in mind. We step outside where I’m getting uncomfortably pushed up on by some gay lady. No security in sight but it’s cool I had my man. So we go upstairs. I’m dancing on my man and we get kicked out because I’m twerking on MY fiance!!!! No warning or nothing, no one said we can’t dance. Some white girls was just putting a microphone between their legs while a man sung a song into it. But as a BLACK woman I guess we just have to stand around and not dance. I’m completely disgusted by this place. If you are black do yourself a favor and go spend time where you’re appreciated. They can play our music but can’t accept our culture. HORRIBLE!!!!!!! You lucky I can’t reply to you but don’t play with me. That’s defamation and I can and will sue. My fiancé documented the whole time I was dancing. Twerking and sex is not the same. This is why you guys should stick to Hispanic culture instead of perpetuating the black culture because obviously you don’t know the difference between a black woman dancing and having sex. A damn shame. You guys will definitely hear from us AGAIN!

So my spouse and I have been coming here for a long while now on weekends and last night was the last of it for us. My favorite bartender is gone. They have some trashy bartenders who will do anything when it comes to money. One was offered $200 for her panties she had on. She left and came back exchanging them for the cash. He then went on to smelling them. Its just down right trash there. The drinks cost a ton and if they happen to knock over your drink walking on the bar you have to replace it.

Thought this was a nice place but left to see what else was around , however upon returning the bouncer wouldn’t let us back in !!! Said the manager said we didn’t buy a drink when we first went , that’s some bullshit !!! What kind of service tells someone I can’t let you back in !! I will never recommend coming here !! Pretty sure they don't like service members. Can't figure out another reason why they actively tried to scam me. Hate to leave bad reviews, but the manager and one particular bartender worked hard to earn it. I spent a good 3 hours here buying drinks with some friends. I tried to call the bartender over to order a drink, she brought me another after I had already ordered a new one that was right in front of me. She gave me attitude and I ordered 1 shot, she brought 3, gave me more attitude and told me she would cut me off me if I don't pay for the drinks that I didn't order. After receiving my tap they not only charged me for all 3 of the extra drinks I didn't order, but decided to sneakily add an extra $20 body shot onto my tab hoping I wouldn't notice. After bringing this up the manager, he gave me attitude and said there's nothing they could do. Highly recommend double checking your tab here.

I came to San Antonio with high expectations for this bar because coyote ugly is one of my favorite movies, but this place was HORRIBLE. The girls here do not at all meet the coyote ugly experience because an ugly attitude makes your looks even uglier and we couldn’t really enjoy the rest of the night. I understand if you’re visiting and want to give this place a try but there are bars close by that have beautiful women working (who deserve the tips) and have much better attitudes. I would recommend visiting La Chingada Bar, we had an amazing time and the staff was amazing to us both nights we visited. (They also have great drink specials)

I've always liked this place until last night. I understand places get packed but I repeatedly asked the guy next to me to back up a bit bc he kept rubbing against me in a way that made me uncomfortable. I then proceeded to move the guys chair and they kicked me out. A full beer and threat of going to jail of I didn't sign the receipt... I'll never go back. I spent $100 the night b4 on shirts. I will be disputing charges, calling about this guy, and doing whatever else I can. It's never okay to be shamed for standing up for yourself.

Was having a great time with the group I was with. Hanging outside with a group of friends and then headed to the restroom when a “bouncer” stopped me stating I was out of line with the inside staff. I was outside! They proceeded to escort me out with a bouncer stating “it’s the end of the night anyways.” Bouncer gave no discretion

We have always wanted to come check this saloon out. There are a lot of good dancers on the coyote ugly saloon san antonio Texas Facebook page. I made a comment on one of the dancers because she looks like she is drunk dancing or maybe extremely tired dancing. The person that represents this the page started coming at me extremely unprofessional and seems very immature like I felt like a kid was commenting and representing this business. To me that looks very bad for this business. We were really looking forward to checking this bar out finally and the tacos. But after the way that girl was representing this saloon we will not be checking this bar out. To us people that are representing a company on social media should always be professional and try to make the company look good at all times. This girl went on one of the post on the Coyote Ugly saloon San Antonio and started screen shoting my pictures from my profile and posting them on my site.

They play TouchTunes all night, and if they don’t like your music, they immediately skip it. Spent a chunk of change adding music to the queue for a major concert they were having at the Alamodome the next night, and they skipped EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Then said the reason they skipped them all was because other people were also playing music by the same artist…I wonder why. Not like the town is full of tourists for a pharma conference and closing night of one of the worlds biggest artists…when the bar only had like 12 people total in it anyways. TouchTunes does not give you a refund for paid songs either.

We were having a great time celebrating , Alisha or whatever her name (lish) was the only bartender’ on shift Sunday afternoon 2/22, a known “elite” from what the other coyotes referred to her. We had been there for a awhile , I (she) had bought shots just for girls(6 totals 2 including my daughter and I) AFTER someone bought shots for the “whole bar”which then Lish (ailisha) complained to a crystalbel, a curly hair and another coyote with tattoos that they did not Tip on a 500$ tab. My boyfriend bought a tidal wave shot for me and while I was on the bar, mind you they don’t give you instructions before hand other than and I quote “you’ll know”. I guess I must of don’t touch “inappropriately “ on the glass doesn’t apply to the customer. She told my boyfriend when it was time to pay to think what I did because it was sexual assault and cops were across the street. (Due to a no tip AFTER she says this to my boyfriend), She proceeded to point at myself and call me from across the bar to tell me my boyfriend “didn’t tip”. So when I walked up to the bar after she called me I asked what is it she wanted. She said she wanted $50 dollars cash, which my boyfriend paid in cash and the bartender (lish) said “is this for me?” I replied yes & she said “Thank you baby”. This is an establishment that runs on people that they believe to be “tipsy” (we had been there for 4 hours) & a disappointment on customers who have been for a first time occurrence and they wanted to be money hungry over $50.

I’m very concerned about the experience my group had after visiting this bar. Shortly after our visit, a friend noticed unauthorized activity on their bank account. While we can’t say for certain where it originated, the timing raised red flags for us. Additionally, the overall environment did not make us feel secure, and we won’t be returning. I recommend others keep a close eye on their belongings and accounts if they choose to visit.

Where am I going?

The atmosphere here is fun, but the service is really slow since the staff is so busy with the shows. What really ruined it for me was finding a roach 🪳 🪳in my drink after I had already finished half of it. Definitely not an experience I’d recommend.

I came here with a large group of friends expecting a fun night out, but was left very disappointed and upset by how the staff treated us. I bought my friend a body shot, and the dancer herself was very handsy and set the tone for the interaction. My friend simply went along with what she initiate, he never crossed any boundaries or did anything inappropriate on his own. Despite this, midway through the dance, a bouncer suddenly came over and manhandled him like he had done something wrong. It was uncomfortable, unnecessary, and completely ruined the experience. If the staff has rules about what’s allowed, then the dancers should be consistent in how they interact with customers, rather than setting someone up and then punishing them for following along. The atmosphere could have been fun, but the lack of professionalism and the aggressive behavior from security left a really bad impression. Shame on your power tripping bouncers.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would, but it’s not an option. This is the worst bar experience I have ever had. The waitress was extremely rude and when she brought our drinks she spilled 2 of them all over us then immediately blamed it on us. She was combative and mean when trying to talk to her about it. She refused to give us new drinks and continued to yell that it was our fault. I’ve never had a server be so disrespectful. Terrible customer service. We also didn’t realize we were basically stumbling into a strip club- if that’s your vibe then you may like it here but if you aren’t into watching women grind on top of the bar and yell raunchy comments then I would run as far from this place as possible. :)

On May 31,2025 me and my 4 black friends was trying to go celebrate our friend birthday now we just left hotel Embassy hotel and we wanted to see like the move Coyote Ugly You know like move this man at front door was so rude to us he threw my money on the ground and told me and my friends Togo away we wasn’t drunk we was 62 years old and just want to get a drink and celebrate I have never been treated soooo rude before
