Tacos are always great always have correct order I gave a 4 star cause the menudo need a lot of work I didn't eat mine so went to waste I couldn't do it

I had not been here in about a month or so and was stunned - STUNNED - at the changes. The tables and chairs and booths were ALL hand-crafted by Arte & Barrieas in gorgeous designs. The chairs and booths were superbly comfortable. The artwork is NOT something one would get used to seeing over and over again. Handprints, handcrafted as well. Of particular note for myself, I'm always tenuous of how long the particular condiments have been at the table when I enter a restaurant. It's not laziness, but if not busy, it possible for items to missed being refreshed. A new procedure, is to leave all tables and booths clean and clutter free. When you sit, all condiments are brought to your table, and all look as if they are fresh....as in every container is full, the sugar packets are neatly organized, the salt n pepper shakers are full, napkin holders are full....it's just a refreshing take to ensure everything is pleasing and obviously taken care of....in fact as I was leaving, I had sight of their condiment prep table and as soon as a customer left, someone was busy ensuring the condiments were ready to go. Yes, it's a bit more work for the staff, but this little change makes a huge impression. The food remains excellent. I had a craving gor menudo, and mine was absolutely delicious and the wait staff remained very attentive to our needs. Definitely NOT making it such a long time between visits now.

Was very pleased with my first experience here. Clean environment. Outdoor seating available. Parking is a slight challenge. Decently priced. Comes with chips and salsa. Of course i got the asada mini tacos with charro beans. Nicely cooked. Server Alicia was awesome. Very accomodating. Only disappointing part was the salsa verde. Quite bland coming out of the bottle. Might be different portioned. Beans were very flavorful. I enjoy the kind of style the serve the tacos. With add ons on the side. It allows you to control the cilantro and onions that you want on the tacos. Very pleased. Will come back.

1st Time Here. Loved the look of the Restaurant real pretty. I ordered the Carne al Pastor mini tacos and they were Delicious👍 the charro beans were delicious, the green salsa delicious, the onions/ cilantro/and the chile toreado fresh and delicious👍 I will come again 👍

It was ok. They seem to be getting tapped out with the weekend crowd. They didn't have salt and pepper at the tables and many did not have stocked napkin dispensers but did quickly resolve when brought to their attention. Another issue was no hot water in the male restroom. Perhaps it is standard to have only cold water in restrooms. Aside from that, food and service were good.

Food was okay, lady was pretty helpful in recommending the food but I did sit there a good while not knowing I was supposed to go up to the register to pay for my meal so it was kinda awkward for about 10 mins bc I didn’t know what to do.

The prices were reasonable, I just didn't enjoy the texture and quality of the tortillas or rice. They were watered down, bland, and mushy. Just needs an upgrade in quality on some sourced ingredients and this place would be excellent! The carne al pastor (#4) was exceptional, very tasty and filling! 💙

THE best Mexican food I've had this year. I don't normally pay attention to chips and salsa but they were special. Crazy to say that about tortilla chips but it's true. The interior and music were lively, too. Our waitress went off-shift and no one served us, we never received a check, and were never told to go to register. I didn't notice until after we left that there were phantom drinks and tea added to our bill that were never discussed, ordered, or served. I called and was told they charge for drinks if you ask for water.

So when pulled up to grab some quick breakfast I decide on the sofias breakfast plate it’s been sometime since I’ve been here . Now the food was decent but I’m more concerned about the price. I was charge 16$ for this plate and was told because it was after a certain time and plus they were charging me for an extra egg which there is only two eggs an normally it’s only two eggs so I’m confused why I got charge a dollar extra for an extra egg an these portions are small an i mean small. Should have went to my original place for breakfast.

Ugh, I decided to give Sofia's Mexican restaurant another chance but I'm still disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Tortilla soup and it is awful. They just put their red greasy shredded chicken for tacos and threw it in the soup. It's too red and greasy. I just ate 1/4 of it, the avacodo, cheese and some of the chips but couldn't eat no more.. Oh wells. Now I know again not to come back ..

We've been receiving service at this place for several years, but today something really unpleasant happened. The manager reprimanded the young woman who greeted me in my presence and asked her to "take me out of the restaurant" because they weren't open yet (6:05 am). Clearly, the young woman had asked for authorization to serve me. I was able to wait, but what's upsetting is that she treated the staff badly and didn't respect the service standards

I don't recommend this place. I used to come here, but they've changed the quality of the products. The meat tasted old and had an unpleasant flavor. However, the service is good.

Im giving this place a 1 due to lack of fixing the horrible sewage smell. We used to enjoy eating here daily. But going over a month and a half it's just getting worse. Staff responds with , we know. Overall this place has great food. But its not good enough to over power that.

I clearly stated that I wanted to order carne asada street tacos, and they gave me Guisada tacos, which i never heard of. Didn't realize it until I got home.
