*Update* The inside has been updated, The update is nice, it's in the below pics. I tried the "spicy bowl" but I didn't care for it that much. It just seemed to be an oil that was added on top of the normal bowl. * Look, Original recipe is my favorite. So, I rarely try crunchy or other thing on the menu. But when I want fried chicken, it's my favorite. I go to this location regularly, the vast majority of the time, the service is pretty good, and surprisingly friendly. It's not always spic and span inside, but it's clean enough. This is a good location as far as KFC's go.

I just ordered Tacos, Tuesday's chicken strip special, (normally I get the drum and thighs), and a drink. I was waiting for at least 20 minutes for my order when I was told, the chicken strips are ready now. If they would have told me they were out, I wouldn't have wait. That made me angry. Then I was about to leave and I noticed they forgot the Honey Mustard and the gravy. The Tacos were good,but cold now. The chicken strips, not so good. I'll stick with the drums and thighs for now on.

Ordering chicken from KFC is a crapshoot Some days it's the best chicken I ever had in my life, but other days it's pretty bad and almost uneatable! KFC is so inconsistent. You can tell how old the shortening is by how dark and greasy your chicken order is. It was so much better 50 years ago when I used to cook it in the pressure cookers and everything was done by hand. Same thing happens with their sides. Sometimes the coleslaw is creamy and very delicious and other times it's all dried out! Some days the mashed potatoes are fluffy and almost as good as homemade and other days they put in too much water in the instant potato mixture which makes them runny or not enough water which makes them dry. The gravy however is pretty consistent but not nearly as tasty as it was years ago when they put cracklins in it. If I get there right after they open in the morning, everything is really fresh but any other time of day I never know what the heck I'm going to get.

To start this review off I'll be starting with the service. The cashier was ok but the service from the food maker to the tray could have been better. Most company's I have noticed are putting Eat-In food in to-go bags. Bad for business in my opinion. Secondly, workers were just standing around as you can see clearly the dining area needs cleaning. Not to mention the little fella (a spider) I killed while I was here eating. I believe they can do better and will return in the future to see if they have changed.

It was over a year I had not returned, the staff needs help. They were courteous but seemed they were new. They did try , they were very busy, long line drive thru and inside. I paid at 2:05pm. They asked me to park, it was 2:44pm , I walked inside and said still waiting. They gave me my bag, I asked, this is the one with 8pc. Girl said yes. Came home to my 89 yr old mom and there was no 8pc original chicken. All there from receipt but NO chicken. I called 3 separate times phone rang until it asks you to enter access code. Very disappointed. Especially for my mom. No I did not drive back I already spent too much time there and it started raining. So you know they will say to call or email. Nope, I am busy with other things. So this is the review, I know they are only human, but you need to double check everything. We are not returning for a long time. We will get chicken from other places. Popeyes is really good 😋. I covered employee name who rang up order on receipt., it was not their fault.

The few terms we do go through the drive through something is always forgotten. There's time.It was our two spicy chicken sandwiches. After we waited a minute and the beautiful black girl came out to double check. What our order was as if she had forgotten. Then the young man brings out our food and as we get home and settled in and starting to eat, we realize we're missing our sandwiches. Perhaps if they'd stop rushing and giving people attitude, maybe they can pay attention to the details of their tickets.

Food was fine but extremely slow service. I got to the drive thru lane to order and nobody was in front of me. I ordered one item from the menu, drove to the window and waited for almost 7 mins before anyone even opened the window. Then I was asked if I ordered something completely different. I finally got my food another 2-3 minutes later. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry.

I hate when this happens people now a days are spending a large amount of money on feeding there families - I knew I had a big order so went in only saw two people my family picked TB - confused store manager try to take my order did not know how to ring me up she needed the assistance of assistant manager - I order 3 separate taco box’s diff & a family order - all you could here is her complaining - which at this point ugh I thought to myself I should of got pizza ….so I started making my drinks - took a minute for food which I understood- but the store manager brings a large brown bag with food in it - imagine my face 😳I order 3 different box’s - she said whatttt you want me to separate it - so again thinking to myself I just got off work and still had 20 more min to drive - I said I order three separate box’s store manager answer it’s all in there in the brown bag -are you sure ??I still have 20 min to drive / the cooked looked at me and yes ma’am I got you order he stated I promise everything is in the bag - I was like I hope so….I have 3 of my grand babies waiting at home with mom & family ready to eat TB - so I struggled on my way out - put the food on my seat and drinks floor board - so when I got home I grab the food off my sit mind yourself brown bag when I grabbed the brown bag everything came out tacos burritos churros everywhere - at this point I want to cry- I picked up went into the house everyone starring what happened- well it was a brown bag tacos sweat & and she did not take the time to separate our food - when looking there was a lot missing and not labeled since they weren’t in there box’s unrolled everything just figure it out most of the order had only been bean burritos, okayyyy now I am now upset - I then gave the drinks out to everyone they took a drink & spit it out it was diet what noooooo ugh they did not even had the right coke in the machine jezzzzz- when I called they hung up - I call Taco Bell emergency line really it’s Friday after 7pm operation hours m-f only great when I got someone on the phone he wanted me to bring back everything and then he help - 20 mins away ughhhh come on …crying babies ready to eat - I never got any help - ridiculous I have to drive back after the promise the cook made - and the store manager should have placed my thing in there own separate box’s and family in a plastic bag

Thank goodness. I checked my food because they didn't even add stuff to my order. When I order online always make sure you check your food and the quality of the food is bad. I know this is supposed to be fast food, but why is the gravy water?

Paid 40$ for 8 piece meal. Picked up our order, got home opened everything. The mashed potatoes were so empty, there was enough for our two girls, also the Mac and cheese was dry and burnt and also empty. Maybe 40$ is t a lot to other people but I work hard for my money. I was so disappointed with our meal!

Hadn't had fried chicken in a long time, so ordered $20 Fill up. After the manager rudely said I could not substitute the fries for mash, he gave me a box as soon as I rolled up from the drive-thru. Thought "great fresh!" But that was a short-lived happy feeling...everything was burnt, dry, and obviously old! This place has dramatically gone to Hell! I was ROBBED!!! NEVER GOING TO THIS ONE ON GUILBEAU & BANDERA AGAIN! They should be brought up on charges, because THIS is criminal!!!

Ordered 2 Honey BBQ chicken sandwiches without pickles. Not only did they put pickles on the sandwich they didnt even put the honey BBQ sauce on the actual chicken. We just got a regular chicken sandwich with a packet of sauce on the side. Im allergic to pickles so when I got home and saw the sandwiches I couldn't even eat them.

They were very rude to me and the lady in front of me. I’m also missing 2 large fries in my order. The cook also yelled “they couldn’t wait” loud referring me coming inside to get my food. Smh that lady didn’t deserve that attitude

Wow what bad service today. I stood at the counter everyone was standing there looking at me and wouldn't take my order. It took the young girl at the window to come take my order. The employee that was staring me in the eyes said he was working in the back and left it at that. I ordered honey BBQ chicken they gave me plain chicken. I asked the so called manager why and she replied we have no honey BBQ and threw a couple of BBQ packs in my bag. I told her they should have told me they couldn't make it rather than give me something I didn't order. Every time I go in there it's one good employee out of the bunch. Super bad management and attitude from this lady with a huge tattoo that read Dolores. Take pride in what you do people or change jobs. To the owner. They are a reflection on you. Do you ever watch the cameras? They hide while doing NOTHING

Trying to get extra cripsy chicken at the Bandera location is like trying to get ice cream from McDonalads. It's not happening. Don't know why they have it on the menu. The original recipe is usually under cooked.

Ordered off of website. Order was completed at 5:08 pm and received it at 6:10 pm. If that wasn’t bad enough eating cold food but the order was wrong too.

Just had a disappointing visit to the Bandera store. I ordered and use the schedule option for my pickup. I arrived 10 minutes after the scheduled time and was told to park. They would bring out the food as soon as it was ready. That was the first red flag. What was the point of ordering on-line if the store won't have the order ready? I waited 20 minutes in the parking lot and finally went to the drive through window. I asked for my money back but the clerk said he couldn't do that. They offered to give me additional sides but, I said I just wanted my order. Another 5 minutes before the order was ready. Last time I go there. Horrible service.

I usually don't write a bad review but the chicken I got yesterday was bad! Super greasy, soggy to the point the breading wasn't crispy. I ate one piece and it was okay and then went to eat the other piece and it looked rotten! When I pressed my finger into it, it was all black and the bones just broke. Super weird and grossed me out. Now my stomach is off the next day. Proper food safety doesn't seem to be happening and it needs to me handled before someone goes to the hospital from food poisoning.

Ice machine broke and ordered 2 drinks and they didnt even let us know. So we get to the window and we have warm soda. We asked "no ice?!?!" He replies, watchable do! Will never go back to that place.

Placed my online order at 1244. Says it'll be ready at 1249. I got my food at 1:25. I go to my car to go home already frustrated. 2 workers come out with a bag and tell me they gave me the wrong order and give me my bag. I ask is there wedges in the box like I ordered, they look at eachother in silence. So I open the box in front of them and its fries not wedges, then one worker says "i just put some wedges down right now if u wanna wait". The fact that they purposely put fries in hopes I wouldn't check in front of them AND waiting over 30 minutes to not get my order right is terrible and annoying.

Every time I ask for crispy white meat, they don’t have it and are unwilling to make it. Came in to pick up a DoorDash order, but it was already picked up. Guy in the back yells that he’s not gonna make it again. I asked the girl if they had the person confirm the order. She said “I think so or he probably just stole it”. Excellent work, genius

I walked in and had 5 people look at me and ignore me and refuse to even acknowledge me at all. I know they saw me. They did not great me or tell me someone would be right with me. There was only one other customer in the he building that I saw. Three of the people who made eye contact with me and said nothing walked past me and walked away after noticing me standing at the counter. I tried to get someones attention and several people looked at me, said nothing at all and then went back to ignoring me. I asked if anyone was working and one young man finally stopped what he was doing and asked if he could help me. By that time I felt bad for all of us so I just said never mind and walked out.

Food is what you expect but my BIGGEST complaint about this location is how painfully slow their drive thru operates. Literally every single time I come here, no matter how small my order is, they always pull me forward and ask me to park in the parking lot. Just tonight 12/28 I placed my order at 9:42pm according to my receipt, got asked to parking lot to wait and it is currently 10:19pm and I am still waiting. There were about 4 cars ahead of me and they got their orders just fine, not me. Of course they have their lobby locked before and their phone goes straight to the dial tone. About 6-8 cars that showed up AFTER me have gotten their orders no issue.

Stopped by after a long shift at work. They ran out of beef, so I picked steak. They charged me 4 bucks extra for steak tacos, and barely put any steak in my tacos. Two pieces of steak per taco. I'm never going back. They handed me a nothing burger for $14.

I've been here twice now and will not be returning. The hard tacos are soggy like they have been sitting for hours and the nachos bell grande is supposed to be a layered topping over chips. You can see by the pictures, this is substandard. I realize it doesn't take a college degree to work here, but employees should take a little pride and effort in the job they're doing.

This place has really fallen apart. Ive come here on the regular lately each time has gotten worse and worse constantly having me pull forward and park. Ive been on average waiting around 10 to 15 minutes sometimes more even recently having to go inside to check the status just for them to not even knowing what im talking about. Having to show them my receipt saying im still waiting for my food. Probably won't be back for quite a while

Place had three employees running it during a lunch rush. One left with a bag of food so then there were two left. After waiting 20 minutes I never got my order, but at least I got my money back so I'm thankful for that. They had to lock the lobby up in the middle of the day! Do not eat here. Not really the employees fault, but the place is poorly run. Owner and management issue. I don't know how it stays open.

There was a plastic bread clip in one of our tacos and they had to remake my Crunchwrap supreme because they gave me half of one the first time. The second Crunchwrap isn’t even grilled or anything. I’ll be calling corporate in the morning. This is insane.
