We loved our experience at Esquina sazon. The food is always so flavorful, the servers amazing, and the atmosphere is always on point. The cafe con leche reminds me of afternoon coffee with my grandparents. Loved our server Kelsey as well! She did an amazing job and was very attentive.

I bought a half a gallon of Menudo it was delicious!!! I’ve tried other menudos from other places and they’re not as tasty! It’s not greasy, amazing flavor the “pata” is 10/10. I would definitely be back for menudo every weekend! Waitresses are amazing especially the young lady!

I found some of the best pozole in chicago. I wasn't feeling good and this was my go to food. I had the pork red pozole. They give you a nice portion size container. The price is good because you get so much and you get toritas chips on the side with lime and and radish and 🌶 and cabbage. I will definitely be going back to try other things. Thank you

All I can say is it doesn’t get any better than this!! The steak a la tampiquena was 100% perfect! Absolute perfection! I can only imagine how excellent it would have been if I dined in.

It was delicious I totally recommend First time here and the morning waitress was very friendly and great customer service! I got horchata con fresas and chilaquiles verdes with a pechuga de pollo ! Not spicy which was great for me lol And the other plate was huarache de carne asada so delicious toooo !!!! i will be coming back again 🙂🥲😀‼️

Not only does this place pack flavor, the location is wonderful. Parking available and the music was welcoming, having me dancing at my table. The food aromas are just fantastic and so are the Portions! Pricing is great on the wallet and will have you coming back for more. Try the take out, the food arrives hot and as good as eating at the restaurant.

Decided to check this place out due to the good reviews. I ordered a Gordita de rajas. It was very flavorful. I also tried the enchiladas Rojas. Did not disappoint. My kiddos ordered enchiladas verdes which I tried and were delicious. Also ordered were the chicken tacos and chicken nachos. Kids liked both. We went during Holy Week and the menu seemed to have many lent options. Would like to return when it’s not lent season and try their steak. Couple things, the music was a bit loud and the space there to dine in is very tight! You will be back to back with the person behind you. One other thing I did not like is that none of the big platters came with guacamole as a side. For the price, I believe guac should be included. Instead, you get rice, beans and shredded lettuce with a tomato wedge. The service was wonderful. Was greeted by staff immediately. They were very attentive. Also, after putting our order in, he food came out very quickly. Was very surprised at how quick. But no complaints on that here.

Horchata de Nuez was so good! Strawberry one was great as well but personally I love the Nuez(pecan) one. I got enchiladas rojas with chicken rate 7/10. My bf got Alambre he rates it a 6.5/10. Very nice cozy place.

First visit. We ordered menudo, tacos, a torta, and asada quesadillas. Menudo: Lacked flavor and was served extremely hot. Tacos: Average. Carne asada was too salty; chicharrón en salsa verde had good flavor. Torta de Asada: Okay, but the bread was hard and portions were small. Asada Quesadillas: The best item—handmade tortillas, lots of cheese, good salsa.

This review was a re review came back a year later, we had the steak al carbon and the burger max. My wife said that the flavors were still good but the portion size and the way the meat was cut was different from a year ago 3/5. The burger max i dont remember the meat being tough the way i tasted today almost like fozen store bought patty the frys changed as well, the meat had good flavor but the quality of the ground beef changed, beef use to melt in your mouth 2/5. Strawberry lemonade was good 5/5 This is soley my opinion and this is the reason i re review, to see what places have a changed and what places still deserve my 5 stars! Tip your servers!!

I have purchased food from here a handful of times and everything was great and good. I was calling it my “new favorite spot”even though it is expensive. Yesterday I ordered a burrito and I was eating I notice something that did not look like meat. It was a bug in my burrito. I was sick. I am pregnant and that’s what I was craving and I got physically sick. This is the first time that this type of thing has ever happened to me. I unfortunately won’t be going back ever again.

My family is Mexican and we decided to go out for some late breakfast. Coming from a Mexican family this is nowhere NEAR being Mexican food. So bad. Disappointed. Disgraceful. Abomination. Should be named “La esquina de la grasa”. SUPER greasy food. I ordered a torta dinner, I was so excited since I was craving for it. Absolutely disgusting, the torta de milanesa was greasy, seemed more like a greasy soup cause like wth the bread was soaked in grease. I stopped eating since it ruined my appetite. My mom ordered un caldo de res, bro that thing was COLD. You know, it’s cold outside and you want something warm but that soup was cold and it wasn’t helping. The salsas were alright, just not enough. The restaurant is tight, you’re all squished and music is super loud. The service was good, we got a super nice lady Ana, but that’s all. Yall lowkey gotta stop glazing acting like it’s a five star Michelin restaurant cause it’s not. Talking about sum the best food in your life bruh…

We were seated next to the door i had my toddler with me requested to seat somewhere else since it was cold and i had my baby , we were ignored ok no biggie but once the waitress arrive she mentioned once we are ready to order she will be around 10 mins or so passed and she forgot about us there was no ppl inside but 1 family which they where already eating so what took them so long ? Me and my husband we decided to stand up and leave when waitress saw we were leaving she finally decided to say” will you like this table instead “ NEVER COMING AGAIN ! If you don't like your job then find something else !!!!

Waitress is rude!!! Poor service bc we didn't speak Spanish nor look it. We dined in and ordered the posole. Very salty and tasted purely like they used a chicken bouillon cube cuz it didn't taste like true authentic posole. I couldn't even finish it or even eat half bc it tasted like salt water. Do not waste your money. $16 a bowl and it didn't even come with cilantro and avocado like Pekes posole. Both bowls were salty, the red and white posole and the red posole was lacking that smokey spicy flavor from the dried red peppers. Both were extremely salty and just tasted like chicken bouillon. Disappointing and underwhelming. The waitress who served us was English speaking and I had to ask her to bring cilantro and waters to our table. It's standard to serve water when you dine in any restaurant and standard to serve cilantro with posole, that's a given but they didn't provide it which was ridiculous. I had to ask for it. What kind of service is that!? Then when I was leaving she accused us of not paying and said it out loud so everyone in the restaurant looked at us like we were trying to dine and dash. Absolutely disrespectful. She was too lazy to check that we left the money on the table inside the black book with the receipt. She should have checked before accusing us and screaming it out loud for the other patrons to hear. I think it's because we weren't Spanish speaking they treated us that way. I will never come back here nor do I recommend. Not only was the service terrible but the posole was over priced and way to salty. I should have just waited in line at pekes posole down the street. If you want true posole go to Pekes a minute away. I regret spending my money here. At pekes you get avocado, cilantro, limes, tostadas, salsas. More worth it and the quality of the food is phenomenal and the service is professional and respectful. Here the waitress was ridiculous for accusing us of not paying when she didn't even check the table first to see the money was actually left there. I'm glad I didn't tip too much bc they definitely don't deserve it. Save your money and go to Pekes posole. I've had posole many times and even make it myself bc I am Hispanic and do speak Spanish but I guess they assumed I don't bc I came in with my bf who is not. That's probably why they treated us poorly. Not only was the service lacking but the quality of the posole was the worst I've ever had, hella salty and lacking flavor.
