Arlyn is a superb customer service manager. Her professionalism is above and beyond her contemporaries. I extremely enjoyed my dining experience at Chow King Mira Mesa. Thanks to Arlyn.

Cashier wasn't working at all due to some issues but the employees were working really hard to write down and calculate orders on paper and using a calculator. They were incredibly patient and food was served really fast. I applaud their amazing service, kind and very outgoing and made it easy to order. They set such a calm atmosphere! Would definitely go again!

Nice little food shop inside Seafood City. Food was good, and everyone on here is complaining about price. But the prices here were standard for food places here in America.

we're from Canada, so eating here is a must! love the chao fan with lumpia and siomai!

It was very good like all of the Chow King's I've been to but be ready to possibly wait 20 minutes or so for your order. Went there twice while in town and both times...20-25 minute wait. I thought the chicken was very good but would personally have to say I thought the chicken at the one in Union City was a little better. Overall I thought it was great place to eat and the only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because of the wait. Recommend stopping by and checking out!!

I was hoping to leave 5 stars; but the service quality snowballed everything to down to 3 gracious stars. There was no line when we walked in. The cashier saw us walk in but ignored us. We stood at the counter for 7 minutes - waiting for the cashier to give the standard customer service acknowledgment so we can order the DIM SUM. I had to bite my tongue, keep calm, placed my 3 DIM SUM orders (Shanghai, Siomai, and Siopao). - I could not believe these READY MEALS took 25 minutes! I was not even called, this cashier placed the items at the counter and just left it there! I had to go to the counter and ask if these orders were mine - "yes" was the only answer I got - UNBELIEVABLE!! SIOPAO was the only item we enjoyed. The Shanghai tasted like old medicine, and the Siomai looked like it has been in the steamer for over 24 hours - when we bit into it - it's confirmed. They are OLD. Listen, I have been eating at Chowking since early 1990s in the Philippines. I know Chowking's qualities - reason why I have been a loyal customer. What I have experienced in this store is clearly a MANAGEMENT FAILURE TO MAINTAIN CHOWKING'S HIGH STANDARDS. I really pray Corporate Office will read this and take heed, URGENTLY!

We ordered Beef wonton Mami for two persons. One order has only 1 wonton and the other has only 2 wontons with few small cuts of beef meat as well as small amount of noodles added. And the soup was quite salty . I informed your employee about it. The siopao size is smaller in size as compared before but it taste good.

So the siopaos were good. Both types were very flavorful and filling, I would recommend hence the 2 stars. The beef wonton noodles were perplexing on many levels. When I ordered the king size, I was told that they didn't sell that anymore though it was on the menu above the cashier. I though they were out of the noodles but was told that they just don't sell that size anymore. Well Ok, so I ordered the standard size and some extra siapios. Problems: 1) It took a good 7-10 minutes for them to call my order after payment, even though the siapios were literally right there steaming hot by the cash register. Why? 2) When the noodles finally arrived, there was only ONE SINGLE SMALL wonton in the whole bowl. I went to the counter and asked the cashier if that was a mistake and was told that it was correct, there was only one wonton per bowl. And that there was nothing that could be done because that is what the management decdied. The cashier was apologetic, I kinda felt bad that he was the messenger So I am just letting y'all know that when you order the beef wonton noodle, there will be only a small sad lonely wonton, trying very hard to live up to expectations. Like in online dating where the pictures and descriptions are often unrealistically optimistic. And your glamour picture perfect date shows up only with one eye. They should perhaps correctly rename it the Beef and One Won Ton noodle.

I ordered beef wonton soup and they gave us chunks of fat. I ordered to go and they served it as if I was dining in, and once they found out that I ordered to go, they just sloppily poured my soup in to a different container.

We’ve been sitting here for about 20min after I order. I finally went up at the front trying to see what’s taking so long and asked about my order(food) staff had no clue what I was talking about. So, they just started cooking my order and I just stood there and watched the whole time while they are preparing my order. This is just ridiculously STUPID SERVICE! So many disappointed service in this food chain.

They lack organization. They jump from one order to another. Prioritizing is not in place. They made us wait for 45 minutes for a soup and a rice meal. I would rate their service minus 25 star.

I did an online order to be picked up at 3pm. But I had to wait for 30 more minutes for my order to get done. That happened to us previously as well. The staff were nice and apologetic but I hope they can finish the food on time next time.

Food was trash, took 15 minutes to get cold, overcooked, greasy, nasty salt and pepper pork that half was not edible at all. Noodles were disgusting, rice was microwaved . AVOID

Waited 30 min for my chicken Mami and Beef Wonton then when I asked the cashier about the delay, she said the ticket was misplaced. The staff immediately got my order in 5 mins and gave me a siopao as consolation.

I don't know why i keep coming here. They've: forgotten our soup once, given the wrong siopao flavor more than once and they made us wait 15+ mins for our food more than once. These transactions were all online to go options as well. I'm an idiot for coming back, learn from my mistake. Save your money. Go to Jollibee.

However, Arlyn the manager at that time didn't have a good tone towards customers and the crew. She just stood their while the crews are in a rush. Shouting won't fix anything especially towards the crews, respect and morality as a person should taught to this woman. I hope nobody experience this kind of action anymore. I hope the management will take actions towards this kind of behavior. Chowking has been my comfort food way back in the Philippines as long as that kind of treatmenr is being served to the staff & customers, I would prefer to just stay home and cook my own meal.

I went in the morning. I waited till they open at 7am. I'm not sure if that was the Manager, but she doesn't look very happy with her job. She was acting high and mighty with the customer in front of me, I am filipino just like she is but it's very embarrassing to have your co filipino looked down of their own. You may need a new Manager that would set example to her subordinates or she probably needs training because this is definitely not the Philippines that you can look down on your own people just because you have the position. She tried doing it to me, but no i did not let her, so she mellow down. Customer service training for your manager is badly needed. Chicken is undercooked. Still bloody.
