Eat Crispy Burger

Watch out people...there is a better burger on the block. Seriously good. We visited tonight, and first impressions were that this was going to be average. We were wrong. The burgers have a ton of options, cooked fresh, seasoned perfectly, and the value sealed the deal. The fries were perfect. Perfect. The onion rings matched, and for a final challenge, we ordered hand spun shakes. We couldn't find a flaw at all. This place is in San Diego, CA, and we're told that they only have 3 locations. If this place expands, watch out...it'll be on every block. Wow. Service is top-notch, flavor is an easy 10 out of 10, and the atmosphere is all you can ask for. The staff were super friendly and the food was out fast. Final thoughts: super clean facilities, the burger is better than restaurant quality, and they have gotten inventive with an old classic. All we can say is why are you still reading, the address is listed.

Really really good smash burger. However I’d like to high light how friendly the staff was. Will come back again :)

These burgers can revive somebody. These burgers can cure cancer. These burgers can fuel my car. These burgers are so immaculately tasty. I love how crispy the edges of the burgers are, hence the name, and the seasoning and sauces in the burger itself make it so much better. They have wild loaded fries that were also super good, and so crispy. Onion rings are great too, just get them with sauce. All the sauce is on a tray when you walk in, free for grabs, and the prices aren't so high. PLEASE check this out, top burger choice of mine in SD.

As always this is my own way of rating places I visit for a meal. If the restaurant is clean and the staff is nice it’s 5 stars as long as the food is decent. Thursday around 130pm July 10th. Rolled up to the joint for an afternoon lunch and got the Bigger Better Mac Crispy Burger as a double and some crispy fry’s. The gentleman that took my order was super rad … like genuinely nice. Not like put on an act in n out nice that some of them do. Took about 10 minutes to get my food because the lunch rush probably had ended and tbh probably a few minutes too long as the burger patty was pretty dry. Bun wasn’t soggy… sauce was delicious and lettuce onions fresh. Hashbrown seemed lost in this burger and didn’t notice the cheese really. The idea of the burger seems like it should be a freaking banger but it was just okay. Service - 9.1 Atmosphere - 6.5(FastFood/Corporate/Chain Vibes) The Burger - 7.4 The Frys - 7.7 (Hot, Crispy nothing to complain about) Would I go back… probably not. If I want a smash type burger I’m going somewhere else.

Came here with my wife and daughter, The Cowboy Crispy Burger was legit, it was an automatic 10/10 in my opinion. The flavor of the meat was on point and the bread was nice and soft, fries and onions stayed crispy! Overall you gotta check out the Crispy Burger on Convoy!

Not your typical American burgers. The food cooked with avocado oil! The cook and server were very nice! Crispy and fresh! The sauce is not overpowering. Just the right amount of grilled onion and dressing. Not a soggy burger and doesn’t fall apart. No vegetables, unless you want. Top it off with Mexican coke and you’re golden.

As a new Hybrid student at CIAT, my post-final stop at Crispy Burger was a delightful discovery. The restaurant's cleanliness was immediately noticeable, setting a positive tone. The old-school R&B music created a fantastic, laid-back vibe that made me feel right at home. But the real treat was the food itself, which lived up to the welcoming atmosphere. Everything I ordered was delicious and satisfying. Crispy Burger is definitely going to become a regular stop for me whenever I'm in the area. Keep up the excellent work – you've got a loyal customer now!

The burgers are huge! I couldn't finish half of a double all american. The smash was great and crispy. However, minus 1 point for been over-salted. I love salt on my patties, but the patties were too salty. Fries are spot on. Super crispy. Will be back!

We saw this spot on Convoy so we stopped by for a quick bite. The staff was so friendly and explained what they're about. It's a small space with a small parking lot, but super cute and cozy inside. The wallpaper decorated with fries - I want that in my kitchen 🤣 These aren't your average smash burgers - they use all avocado oil here. We love that they even have completely gluten-free options here too! We tried: 🍔 Double OG (cheese, grilled onion, Thousand Island) 🍔 Bigger Better Mac (double patty, hashbrown, lettuce, onion, pickles, cheddar, Thousand Island) 🥗 Sriracha Ranch Crispy Chicken Salad 🍟 Half Fries/ Half Onion Rings They use 100% Angus Beef here on brioche buns and the quality really shines through. Something about that avocado oil really makes a difference, with the flavor and how we felt after devouring all this food. We loved how the patties had a nice crisp to them from how they were smashed, they live up to their name 😁 We hear they'll be opening up near us in Oceanside soon, so you know we'll be regulars!

Everything we ordered was delicious. Cali double crispy burger, burger bowl (add pastrami) and plain double crispy (add bacon). Prices are fair compared to other burger spots. Fries were really good and crispy! Worth a try and will come back again for sure👌🏾Recommended.

Found this GEM! As close to perfect as it gets. The burger was epic, the onion rings were chef’s kiss good, and the service was amazing! They even have all the sauces you could want waiting for you to grab. They even had great music playing at the perfect level. Great job, guys!! You are crushing it!!

I have celiac disease and I never have a reaction when I order here and get a burger and order it with the gluten free bun (which actually tastes good and doesn't immediately fall apart). My family always enjoys their food, too. They particularly love the onion rings, which, I cannot personally vouch for (obviously), but they are big critics, so they must be delish. The ONLY down side to the Crispy burger on Convoy is the parking situation.. like,, daaaaaang. What the heck is happening there??? It's best to park on the street NEXT to the shop rather that try to fight for a spot in the lot (that has like 12 spots total for 4 very popular store fronts).

First time here. I had the OG crispy burger (single) which is a smash burger with grilled onions. The fries here are the best I have had. They use avocado oil and I wasn't expecting much difference from other fries, but they are amazing.

One of if not *the* best burger places I've ever. Been to. The dude at the front who takes the orders and makes em was super chill. Forgot to add my onion rings to the order but still made em and got em out to me and didnt even charge. A legend.

The customer service here was superb. The girl at the counter was very friendly and patient...and she knew her menu. There was an error with my burger. They apologized and remade it perfectly. There was no bad attitude, just excellent customer service...better than I have been getting at much more pricey places. I thought the burger was well seasoned and delicious (and I'm not usually a fan of double small patties). Fries and onion rings were delicious. Everything was great. All around excellent experience dining here. I didn't think to take pictures of the food until after it was gone...but it actually DOES look like their photos.

I don’t eat burgers often for dietary reasons, so when I do I make it count. Smash burgers are my latest burger kick, this place has decent burgers and not nearly as greasy as that famous one in town everyone talks about. The onion rings were hot and crispy! They were done perfectly!!

This place started off strong when the manager/partner/owner whoever he was was running the show. Once he got things set on track, he dipped and they hired whoever. I’ve been here multiple times now and I’ve gotten the wrong order or not my entire order. The last two times I came here I wasn’t able to put in my points or use my points. Not sure what the point of the point system is if you can’t use it or enter into the system. They forgot one of my items tonight and my chicken sandwich literally had one chicken tender on it. I’m not sure how you mess this up. The ticket says what’s supposed to be in the order, so It should be that easy. Make those items for that order.. As far as the missing chicken, tender, maybe they’re just shaving costs, I’m not sure. I’m not checking my to go order. I’m trusting you that you’re gonna make the food that I bought and I can grab the bag and go. I suspect the gentleman who was running the show previously was making a livable wage, and that is why the orders were on point and the restaurant was nice. When you pay people minimum wage, you get minimum service. So $50 for missing fries and a 1/2 chicken sandwich.
