Made a reservation for my husbands 45th birthday. When we got there I checked us in. They seated us very quickly and when we got to the table, it was beautifully decorated with rose petals, and confetti. Our server was very accommodating as we had our 3yr and 4yr old. He made sure our questions were answered, gave us the specials, recommended a good whine for my liking. The kids asked him questions and he was happy to joke with them and answer questions. Our food came out pretty quick as well. Everything was delicious, didnt need any seasoning whatsoever... the place itself was beautiful. All the staff was really nice and welcoming. Dessert was amazing. I think we will be celebrating here more often💗

The food was wonderful and the staff was incredibly friendly. I started with appetizers while enjoying the live jazz band. I especially appreciated that the staff allowed me to linger and continue listening to the music after I was finished eating; I never felt rushed or pressured to leave.

An absolute vibe!!! Eddie V's is everything!!! I was there with a soon to be husband and wife celebrating thier upcoming nuptials. The decor and ambiance are unmatched! My favorite piece had to be the wine wall. Our server was knowledgeable, sweet and funny. Our order came quick. THE DRINKS AND FOOD ARE UNMATCHED!!!! The Love Eddie is a must have! I had shrimp cocktail, lamb chops and asparagus and BAAAABY WHEN I SAY I WAS SATISFIED!!! You pay for what you get, so with that being said, the prices are absolutely reasonable!

We are back in our fav steakhouse in San Diego. Ordered: 22 oz Prime Bone-In Rib-eye and 18 oz Prime Bone- In New York steak - both were cook and serve to perfection. Tender juicy and it was cooked on our liking, medium rare for my ribeye and well done for my wife. Kung Pao Calamari - sauce, fried calamari and noodles compliments each other. Truffled macaroni and cheese - always on our "to order list" Al dente macaroni and sauce in harmony together! And cannot complain with the "free" birthday desserts. Staff were all welcoming as always and the ambiance place is always at 5 stars!!! Highly recommended either when celebrating special occasions or when just craving for well prepared and high standard dishes that always satisfies our pallets.

Their surf and turf special was pretty solid, as well as their mashed potatoes. I especially enjoyed the live music, our waiters' hospitality, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant. Overall, a great experience with good food and good vibes.

We celebrated our 15-year wedding anniversary at Eddie V's in San Diego, and it exceeded every expectation from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a “Happy Anniversary” from the host, setting the tone for a special evening. Our table was beautifully decorated with red rose petals, festive "Happy Anniversary" confetti, and even a handwritten card from the restaurant; a thoughtful and elegant touch that truly made us feel celebrated. Terri, our server, was outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the ingredients, flavors, and portion sizes of each dish. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her service throughout the evening was professional, warm, and attentive. Though Eddie V's doesn't officially offer souvenir photos, they went above and beyond by capturing a Polaroid picture for us, and also kindly offered to take several shots on our iPhones. It meant a lot that they took the time to help us remember this special milestone. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the meal ended on a high note with a complimentary dessert plate featuring banana fosters, cookies, sorbet, and a single red rose; complete with a "Happy Anniversary" message.

The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Everyone was so helpful I can't wait to go back for more! My only complaint is that they are so far from my home in Nebraska 😔. Just looking at the picture has got my mouth watering yum! They also had really good live music the night I went. I felt like a vip dining out eating incredible food while listening to that smooth voice.

Wife and I ate here before a concert at the Shell and enjoyed the Point Judith Calamari and Mini Filet Sandwiches with an Old Fashioned and Blueberry Lemondrop Martini (not on menu, made by special request). Delicious and tasty appetizers and the drinks were well made and satisfying. Old Fashioned prep was authentic and had a nice classy touch.

Service and food was top notch. The dairy free options are a bit limited but I'm gluten free as well and was able to find something to eat. No dessert options for me though which was a little disappointing but the service was phenomenal!

This was an amazing experience. We went for our 11th anniversary, which was a perfect choice. The environment is enjoyable, live music was a vibe, and the food is phenomenal. Service was a exquisite, really felt honored to be apart of this experience. They left roses and a card for our celebration and complimented some treats to celebrate with us. Service alone was unmatched. I had the filet and my wife had the filet & shrimp, we were completely satisfied. Don't miss out, book your reservation soon!

Just went Eddie V’s tonight for a celebratory dinner for our monthly production goal. Had an amazing experience with Gio. His attention to detail was impeccable. He brought us the most amazing dessert for our special occasion and took the time to actually get to know us as people! If you come here I recommend Gio as your server he’s AMAZING!!

Where do I begin... Over the 4th of July, my wife and I traveled to San Diego with some close friends to celebrate their 50th anniversary. One evening, we chose to dine at Eddie V’s—and it turned out to be the perfect decision. We started with a trio of appetizers: raw oysters, crab cakes, and ahi tuna tartare. Each one was absolutely outstanding and paired beautifully with the stunning ocean view, which set the tone for the rest of the evening. For our entrées, we enjoyed filet mignon with scallops, lamb chops, truffle mac and cheese, and au gratin cheddar potatoes. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. To top it all off, we shared the Meyer lemon tart for dessert—and just thinking about it still makes my mouth water! Our server (forgive me for not recalling her name) made the night even more special by surprising our friends with a beautiful dessert and a heartfelt “Happy Anniversary.” Her service was impeccable—attentive yet unobtrusive. She anticipated every need without being overbearing, which is a rare talent and something we all deeply appreciated. The entire experience left us smiling. One thing is certain: we won’t return to San Diego without coming back to Eddie V’s. It was a truly memorable meal and a perfect way to celebrate a very special occasion. - Thank you all!

This is a lovely steakhouse with excellent service, delicious food, and fabulous cocktails. It’s the perfect place to celebrate your birthday at and they truly go above and beyond. Our waiter was thoughtful and gave us lots of space to enjoy our meal. We dressed up a little for this location but I noticed that not all customers did. All in all this location is perfect for a date night, anniversary dinner, birthday, or anything else you want to make special.

My wife and I came here for our Anniversary dinner. It was our first time eating at an Eddie V’s restaurant. We’ve heard good things about it so we decided to try it. When I made my reservation, I notified them that we were celebrating our anniversary. Upon arrival, we were seated right away and the restaurant had a very nice surprise at our table. There were rose petals all over the table and a card from the management congratulating us for the date. Our server was very courteous and recommended several dishes. We decided to get the Surf N Turf which was the Chef’s special. The food tasted great and our drinks were fantastic. I personally loved the “private plane”. Very good bourbon cocktail. The only down side was the atmosphere. We were seated next to a large group of people. Over 10 people. It was a bit louder than I would of liked it to be for such an important dinner.

This restaurant is the standard for what fine dinning is. Took my wife here for her 4 day birthday celebration and she loved it. The customer service was 10/10. We both loved the food so much we can't stop talking about it. I had the best steak of my life here. I can't wait to come back.
