I came to this place. Easy empty parking. I ordered. 12 minutes my food arrives. The waitress doesn't give me no spoons, no forks... Why i wait for I ask for a cup of water, and I'm in the table waiting for the water, forks, syrup, tabasco sauce and... The waitress bring me a coffee... And then i ask for all those things again while my food was almost cold ... And the waitress just bring me another coffee... Charging me at the end two coffees and a REALLY BAD SERVICE!... I don't know to many Denny's that have this tipe of service records

I like Denny's but this one on Truman/sylmar needs help!! Hire nice people and a new manager. The Asian waitress is awesome ! Sat in her section for the 1st time and no problem. ..2nd visit ...may be my last. The other waiter was having a bad day on her face. Didn't ask if all was good or for refills. In fact neglected to do her job. Also, the manager doesn't care and doesn't smile or engage with customers paying.

I was about To order a milkshake and the guy ask me are you gonna grab a table ? Bathroom is not available (I am A beautiful clean young woman doing uber ) I change my mind immediately !!!! That is a big no ! 👎 not letting people use bathroom even tho I Look pretty decent 😂 poor service!!!! That’s why is empty

I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to share this experience. I recently visited Dennys and while the food was decent, what really stood out — in the worst way — was the behavior of the manager on duty. During my visit, I witnessed the manager speak to one of the servers in a completely unprofessional and disrespectful manner. It wasn’t just a single comment; it was a pattern throughout my time there. He was condescending, dismissive, and at one point even raised his voice in front of customers. The server handled it with so much grace, but no one deserves to be treated that way — especially not in a work environment. As a customer, it was uncomfortable to witness. It not only created a tense atmosphere but made me question how the rest of the staff is treated behind the scenes. If this is how the manager behaves in public, I can’t imagine what happens when customers aren’t watching. Restaurants thrive on good service and a respectful, supportive environment. I hope upper management sees this and takes steps to fix it — both for the employees and for the guests who notice more than they might think.

Been coming for years here! i kindly walked in asked if i could use restroom real fast the guy said no, only customers I told him I've been coming here for years he diddnt care! i was wearing uniform from work aswell im not homeless the name LALO send me to hell no matter how many times i asked kindly

Horrible service. Would not return to this location. When trying to pay, used a gift card and credit card for the remaining balance. The hostess was rude and said he couldn’t do that. He didn’t explain why. It made no sense. Rude reiterated the gift card would need to cover the whole meal or we can’t use it. Were declined the use of the gift card.

I have bin going to this dennys for years now and this is the first time we have ever gotten the worst service here because we had a female waiter with black hair with a pony tail with one strand of black hair in the front kinda wavy hair and she had tan skin with a thin figure wearing all black with black cargo pants and she was wearing a lot of makeup they gave us very bad service without even telling the other workers that she left. That we never got are Mac and cheese and grapes. Til one hour later. After telling two waiters that we were missing are two items. Fix you service and train your new waiters right next time.

It just takes one bad experience to justify a terrible review. I walked in this morning and Carlos was closing someone out. Okay. No problem I waited for that to finish so I could be seated. I've eaten at this Denny's over 30 times and know the drill. However, this time was different. After Carlos finished he looked at my like "What do you want?" I raised my eyebrows waiting for him to ask "How many?" like happens every other time. But instead he stared at me and said "Picking up? Taking out?" but his disposition was such that you could tell he didn't even want to be there. As I was beginning to reply "I want to eat." another customer walked up to pay and he started closing them out. Needless to say, that upset me so I asked his name and learned it was Carlos. I then left telling him that he should have seated me. I was so taken aback by his terrible service (I've worked in restaurants my whole life) that as soon as I got in my car I called that Denny's. I could tell Carlos answered. I asked for the manager. He gave me the run around like you wouldn't believe. It was clear he knew it was me, the guy who just left. He didn't even put me on hold. I could hear what was happening with the restaurant and a minute later he said "He's not available. Call later." Very abruptly and rude. I said "This isn't going to end well for you Carlos." And it shouldn't. If Denny's cares about the carefully crafted image they've created they should get rid of this guy who puts his own feels above what is best for the company. Afterward, I drove to the other Denny's nearby and asked how to reach the General Manager.

Love dining at Denny’s, but honestly, the management at this location has to work with teaching there staff Customer service, there is this waitress, MYRNA y believe is her name, she was horrible! Every time we would ask her to bring something to us, she would have a really bad attitude when attending us. Hope they hire someone with a good and positive attitude next time.

5/10/19 around 11am service was not that great. Our waitress did not come around enough we had to call her or ask other waitresses. My daughter's chocolate milk was sour and I asked her to take it back, I was trying to give it to her but she ignored me leaving me with the drink in the air.
