The Acai bowls over here are amazing. I went for the Lazy Bowl from the menu - they have options to make your own bowl as well to customize/ personalize it per your liking. The Lazy Bowl has a base of activated charcoal and organic Acai and those two bases combine really well with the chia pudding and all the other ingredients that come in with the Lazy Bowl. There is amazing taste in every bite as each ingredient is blended with something. The medium size is generous in quantity and good enough for a meal

Best California fusion açaí! What really stands out to me about this açaí spot is that they offer black sesame butter as a topping. Black sesame is one of my favourite flavours, and it pairs so well with all the bases. Each build-your-own bowl is set at a fixed price based on size, and toppings are unlimited, so it's a great value. Everything from parking to ordering and enjoying the açaí is super easy. There's plenty of metered street parking along Ocean Ave, and I've often been able to park very close. You can order online or in person at their in-store kiosk. They have plenty of indoor seating in case you want to "dine in", and the place receives lots of sunlight, so it's a great space to hang out. Below is my go-to order that got me hooked on Açaí R: Bases - 100% organic açaí (new and/or original) - organic flamingo chia pudding - blue spirulina Fruits - blueberries - pineapple Granola - French vanilla Butter - black sesame butter Toppings - coconut flakes - toasted coconut flakes - goji berries Natural Sweetener - none, but I've gotten light agave sweetener at other açaí places and liked it Powder - none

Delicious custom or build your own acai bowls. We got two build your own bowls. The quality of ingredients and fruits here are top notch. Get the chia pudding I love it so much. If you enjoy eating acai bowls, definitely check this place out cause I will for sure be back here if I'm in the area!

The best açaí berry I have ever tried! It worth waiting for it! It is really taste good, it is very sweet and also the mix with honey and other flavors make it taste even better. I got lazy one, and I think it is good combo of different flavors

Shockingly filling! I couldn't stomach the last scoops of acai :( Fruit tastes fresh, but personally I don't think strawberries are a great topping because unless you eat them first, the rest of the bowl overpowers it and they taste sour in comparison. Bananas absolutely belong though. Love the level of customization. Don't suggest eating in there because there are a million flies (not the staff's fault I understand) but inside is nice and has a lot of charging outlets!

I ordered a create your own rainbow bowl in size medium and added strawberries blueberries banana flaxseed granola (fingers crossed they are vegan friendly) and almond butter with 100% organic acai. I thought it would last me 2 servings but once I started eating it I couldn’t help but enjoy all of it 🤭 this may just have taken the new #1 choice for me when it comes to acai in the city 🥰 my only wish is that they would list out the ingredients for the granola so people who are vegan could confidently see if they could enjoy any of them

Ordered a small sized Acai bowl and it was delicious! Best place I know in the area. I recommend getting the cacao nibs. Additionally the large tables have outlets and in the mornings when it’s slow, customers can study inside in a comfortable and bright space.

Wow. I have used Acai R for catering for our events at Branches Church for the past 3 years. Every year the EXCEDE expectations. Our people always ask me where I ordered from because they want to be able to go. They are excellent to work with, deliver on time every time, and the bowls taste wonderful! Self Order!! First, look at the menu to get an idea of what you want. Ordering screen is much more detailed with images. Second, order your Bowl/ Smoothie or Toast and Pay. And finally wait… approximately 7-10 minutes depending on your order. I love this place, amazing ingredients and the place is very clean. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

VERY solid acai bowls here and they are a little expensive, but they are also gigantic. I got a regular bowl and feel like maybe I should have gotten the small since it came in a huge container and just I got everything inside it and felt stuffed. It was really nice to have a choice between all the toppings and bases and not have to just pick one. The standout was the acai base and the sesame base which was just unique. The place has a super cute interior with outlets and a good clean vibe. Also get the yelp check-in cacao toast! I thought that it was actually not the best in terms of sweetness but it was some good free value.

Omg I loved this place. The food feels so good, healthy and refreshing honestly. The place is super clean and such great helpful staff. First timers should definitely go for the Lazy Bowl(the picture in this review) I loved it. It is even good for people who are vegan. I wish this was in the city as well but I'm glad I tried. Will be back for more 😍🥰

All of my money goes to this because I want to buy this everyday. I do the “make-your-own bowl” and subjectively so, I would so it’s the best. I have tried other places but they are not good. I live far from SF but I go to ccsf and I think about having a bowl from here everyday. Please open another one in San Jose 🙏😩

As many days before, today I received my delicious, nutritious, and perfectly prepared açaí bowl. However, for the first time, I also ordered an iced Americano — and wow, what a cool drink! It was cold, refreshing, and surprisingly served without a cup full of ice. I really appreciate that. Usually when I order iced drinks at other places, the cup is ½ to ¾ full of ice, and the $7 drink is gone in three sips. But this iced Americano was different — not only was it flavorful, it was actually creamy! I also want to highlight the girl working at the front. She was there by herself, extremely busy, yet still greeted everyone with a bright, warm smile. She is truly a doll. Thank you for having such a wonderful person working there — she made my day happier.

Generous portion sizes; any bowl size includes as many fruits/toppings as you want. Both the old and new flavor Acai are good but the "old" one tastes like more classic Acai. Tried with black sesame for the first time (see below). All the fruit was sweet and had flavor, and the nut butters don't taste overly oily. Area sometimes has a lot of homeless people outside. Forewarning for black sesame butter/paste - this will overwhelm the entire flavor of the bowl so if you order online, call them or leave a note with your order for 'light' black sesame if you want to taste other flavors.

Acai was great. Love the custom options. We also ordered "savory" avocado toast. It was super cold and soggy. It has cucumbers which makes it even more "cool" and mushy. I usually eat everything I order even if it's not great. Did not finish that toast. This experience made me feel like such a dummy for paying for it. I started questioning why I don't just make it at home.

this place has the best acai bowls ever, service 10/10 but the food is the worse. i ordered avocado toast and it had this amount of avocado and no seasoning literally looks rotten, looked nothing like the picture in store, ill come back for the acai but definitely not the food its not worth it.

If I wanted frozen açaí tossed in a bowl I’d just go to Costco and not pay $15+ here. The topping were arranged on top and didn't blend in. A board outside said this compares to acai bowls in Hawaii 🤷🏼‍♂️ I've had them in Maui, they melt in your mouth. Palmetto is a lot better.

This price is way too expensive and the wait was over 10 minutes when there were only three customers. No one spoke to me, not even when my order was ready; they just called out my number and when I went to pick it up the employee turned around. The stools to sit on have cheap plastic upholstery that is falling apart. Worst though (really the only thing that matters) was the fact that everything is build-your-own. There is no menu, so to speak, just lists of ingredients. There is one option for acai bowls called the "lazy bowl" and one option for smoothies called, "the lazy smoothie". I'm not lazy — I'm also not a chef! How do I know what goes well together. The fact is, thos is a LAZY establishment, with LAZY business owners.
