Absolutely amazing Korean food. They are 100% focused on delivering amazing, authentic food at affordable prices.

This cozy Korean snack bar on Ocean has a wide variety of affordable and tasty lunch options. The seafood noodle soup (칼국수) had a depth of flavor unmatched — the broth mimicking the sea in taste, and a velvety texture, all the more comforting. A wide variety of kimchis that are very clearly homemade, served up in generous portions. A nice find, and will be back to try the dosirak (Korean bento) (도시락). Super friendly service.

Very good Korean food 🥘! Highly recommend this place and they serve large portions here. It’s so good that it got me feel pretty full overall!

Love this place! I usually see it going to get my fav boba @ supercue & tried it today. Came in at 855pm and they were still nice and let me sit. The food was amazing and good price. Side dishes good and plentiful. Family run business. They also gave me cake and fruits (I LOVE CAKE!) Everything was good for the price, clean and great service! I will be back. The lady boss is so sweet too. I didn’t want to share so she gave my eating buddy an extra cake :p haha she said she loved seeing us enjoy the food. Thank you!

Love the ban chan variety. Their set portions are fair and delicious. Cannot go wrong with any of the soups. They got flavor. Watermelon at the end was satisfying. Also friendly and courteous staff!

Awesome place. The bento box had so much awesome food and it was delicious. Banchan was fantastic. Over 12 different things to try! So much variety, and all of it was tasty! Service was great, and the owners are wonderful people. Definitely will be back and excited to try the other dishes

An amazing value at $13 for the set meal. I finished 2/3rds and was stuffed. Really sweet owner. The store hadn’t officially opened yet, but they were willing to take me in 10 minutes early. Great service too as they refilled my banchan and provided a free dessert, as shown in my pictures!

Really good service and hospitality. Treated us well and had a good time at the restaurant. Food was also delicious had the chicken katsu bento box and all the sides were definitely worth the money.

LOVED this place!!!!! I had seen it while passing by and was super excited to try it out. Super nice service, it was a bit packed but we figured out soon why. Lots of banchans to start with and food was made pretty quickly. Delicious tteokbokki (rice cakes) and chive pancake. Plus they gave us a surprise at the end. Price was good, totally loved the experience will be coming back.

I think we've been here 4 times since they opened and each time we've experienced consistently good food and prompt service. Very casual decor and the owners and wait staff are super friendly. Portions are sizable, yet priced very reasonably. Their complimentary banchan is generous and offers a nice variety which changes a little bit each time.

I have to admit that when I arrived at the place I had 0 expectations and I was about to leave but the excellent service made me stay and im glad I did. The server gave us water and a plate with different appetizers to try.The menu offers different corean dishes. I ordered dishirak with bulgogi. The food was delicious, portions where good and the price was fair. I will be coming back for more gimbap🥰. My only complaint is that the table was sticky but everything else was perfect.

I can’t believe I haven’t been here yet and I’ve passed this restaurant about a million times. For a native San Franciscan (40 year resident), something affordable without compromising the flavors and the service is a welcome deal! I’m definitely coming back here. Thanks to my professor and friend from SF State for treating me here.

Love this cute little neighborhood spot in South SF! It’s run by a few kind, friendly, Korean aunties, who make you feel right at home. The food is great and their stews warm your soul, and the Korean fried chicken is super crunchy and saucy. In a city where good Korean food is hard to come by, I’m glad we found Go Go 7 to satisfy our cravings!

Love this spot. Feels homey and the ladies are so sweet. Food is delicious and portions are huge but my boyfriend and I over-order so we can try more things. The kalbi is my favorite.

Excellent Korean food. We Got Seafood pancake, Kalbi, and Bulgogi. Portions were very generous. Banchan varieties were excellent. Update: Today we got the Seafood pancake, Tofu Soup, and the Salmon. All dishes were very flavorful.

My friend and I were looking for a place close by and chose this place. I know it used to be a sandwich shop, so I'm not sure when they changed. Inside is definitely a more casual seating. It wasn't too crowded on a Monday afternoon. We ordered the grilled chicken lunch box (the one that comes with kimbap and T Kim) and a beef tofu soup. They served a lot more sides that I anticipated. They even served fish cake! I was already impressed. The food came out a short while after. The grilled chicken was really good, with two huge pieces. The T kim was a like a mini fried veggie pancake. It tasted really good! The tofu soup didn't look too amazing, as some stuff had spilled over, but still tasted really good! They don't do a spice level, but it wasn't too spicy to handle. I would definitely come back as the prices are worth the meal. Service was great and they even gave a complimentary dessert. It's a chocolate cake with whipped cream.

Oceanview local jam. The owner is so pretty, she looks like one of the Korean drama main character. The portion is generous, if I order one meal and take home, I can eat 3 to 4 times. Love Go Go 7. I love to use Uber Eat or Postmates to order first and pick up later.

The food was fire and I would recommend eating their bento Box set and signature. Tokkpoki is a little blend but it is still good to eat. They give us free small Yakult probiotic drinks after meals. They are a friendly and clean restaurant.

I visited this Korean restaurant almost every week and thoroughly enjoyed each visit! The food is absolutely delicious and very affordable, making it a perfect spot for a quick meal or a casual dinner out. The flavors are authentic and satisfying— I definitely recommend trying the Bulgugi and the side dishes! The restaurant may not be overly fancy, but it is clean and comfortable. The staff impressed me; they are incredibly kind and welcoming. Be sure to show them the same kindness in return; they truly deserve it! Overall, it was a great experience with tasty food, fair prices, and a warm atmosphere.

Our go-to korean spot if we craving. We always get their 2 meat combo. We've tried galbi, spicy chicken, bulgogi and they were all delicious! The banchan is always plentiful and at least 8 different varieties. The tofu soup is also great, especially on a colder day. We've only dined in and never had to wait. Parking can be difficult in the area but be patient and go into the residential area behind the restaurant for spots.

I frequent this the area and always pass by this restaurant but never had the chance to try it until today. I ordered their Spicy Pork Bento Box for $16 and it came with so much food!!! Portion bigger than I expected. It even came with so much banchan (I think 12 different varieties).. my jaw dropped when they brought it to the table. If you give me a bowl of rice, that's a whole meal right there!! Truly felt like you were eating at grandmas house. The highlight of the meal was the tkim. Guilty pleasure. And I was pleasantly surprised how good the spicy pork was because I almost never order stir fried pork whenever I'm eating out. Although it may look spicy, it was super mild which I like. Service was great. Good amount of seats inside. Ended the meal off with some complimentary orange cream jello and chocolate cake!! Overall 4.5/5. Highly recommend! 04.03.2024 | Wednesday @1:30pm

Go go 7 is the definition of fun, friendly, and unforgettable! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with energy, warmth, and the irresistible aroma of sizzling BBQ. Food highlights? The deep-fried vegetable and shrimp tempura are crispy perfection, while the chicken wings are juicy, flavorful, and far from dry. And the banchan? A total win—those endless little side dishes make every meal feel like a feast. I especially love the seaweed—so addictive! Seating is never a hassle, even during peak hours. When it’s busy, the lively atmosphere just makes it even better. There’s nothing like enjoying your food while catching the delicious scent of BBQ grilling in the kitchen. Parking? Easy. Takeout? Seamless. The vibe is pure comfort with a dash of cool—whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, grabbing lunch with friends, sitting down for dinner, or winding down after work with a drink. This place just works for every mood and moment. It’s a mom & pop Korean treasure that feels both homey and vibrant. Honestly—why would you go anywhere else? Highly recommend!

Came to eat lunch on Christmas afternoon and had a great experience. The banchan had a lot of variety, the mandu soup had a deep flavor that warmed us up, and the kalbi had just the right amount of savory and sweet. The prices were also very reasonable for the portion size. We will definitely be coming back for more!

honestly? my new manna. you want local? great price and huge portions of authentic, tasty korean food? let's gogogo to go go!!! the service is great and i can feel covid really hitting them really hard, even now. i've been here before back in 2017-8? and it was really packed. now they have one or two tables of people with majority of the restaurant being empty. this place is so underrated while manna is so overrated and i hate to make comparisons so i'll keep it brief in how gogo is better. -service and fairly short wait time. it's only one ahjumma/waitress who's so sweet and attentive and really gives the best hospitality. -the banchan/side dishes. they come immediately and the quality AND QUANTITY never went down pre and post covid. so many variety and you will feel comfortable asking for refills if you wanted. -quality = quantity. you pay for what you get and MORE. always anticipate rice with your dish. it's a lot of rice and a lot of meat. and the prices are sooo reasonable. it's honestly amazing how good the price is and how good the food is. like the chicken is not pictured here BUT THE REGULAR CHICKEN WAS SO TENDER AND SOFT. CHICKEN. WOW. -it's clean. enough said. spacious inside, no uninvited critters that dive head first into your meal. -THEY GIVE JELLO DESSERTS at the end of the meal. they're so sweet, i cant. my heart. i get why manna is more popular: sf natives who use to vouch for it (before its overall downfall in my eyes), location *coughgentrifierscough* but if you can, sf natives, it's time. either the crew or gogo or han il kwan for affordable korean food. seriously.

We've been coming to Go go 7 since it opened and had known the owner from her previous restaurant. Very friendly and caring towards her customers. TLDR: the price of the food and quality of the kalbi is top notch We got a two item plate to share with the kalbi being some of the best cooked and tender kalbi I’ve had in a long time. They give a variety of side dishes as well and even give us yakult after for dessert for under $20 a plate!!!

2025: New owner. Marilyn sold the restaurant. I noticed my regular items like grilled mackerel and shrimp & vegetable TKim fry were no longer on the new menu. Then I noticed the wall specials were gone. Also, the article featuring Marilyn Lee in Ingleside was removed. Wait a minute, am I in the wrong restaurant? I asked the waitress and she said the restaurant got sold and is now under new ownership. Marilyn was always cool to me. I will miss her food. Tonight's soft tofu stew, seafood $18 was OK. The beef option is no longer available. It is only pork seafood or vegetables now. The new menu is heavily truncated. No more 2 item combos, house specials like stir fried ramen or sandwiches. Previously, the banchan (little Korean dishes), included sprouts, potatoes and broccoli. Those are gone too. I only got cucumbers, tofu and the red cabbage. New waitress seems OK. Nice but inattentive. People were walking up to pay because she was on the phone. Perhaps it was later in the evening and she had to finish up her closing tasks. Updated review 10/27/2021: Go Go7 is still awesome. I love the little dishes of kimchi they serve before the meal. Tonight, I really wanted ramen but 21 Taste House down the block was closed for some reason. To satisfy my ramen craving, I ordered Go Go 7's stir fry ramen with bulgogi $12. The dish was huge and it almost made me regret ordering the deep fry shrimp and vegetable appetizer $8. I tried but could not finish it all. I had to take 1/2 of my food to go. Great job Go Go 7! This restaurant is an important part of the Ocean Ave. dining community. Original review: Indoor dining 5/28/2021. Go Go 7 is a popular Korean restaurant. There was a parade of to-go pickup orders. All I heard were people ordering their two item combos. It is perfect if you don't want to do family style and still want a variety of items. The portions are perfect if you don't want a lot of leftovers in your fridge the next day. Tonight I had their bulgogi (marinated beef) sandwich $10 and grilled tofu $5. You don't usually see sandwiches at a traditional Korean BBQ restaurant. The bread was soft and it tasted great. The sandwich was not too dry or soggy and very flavorful. I enjoyed their little plates of kimchi. The bean spouts and the imitation crab with cucumber is a must try item. I liked it because you have something to munch on while they made my grill tofu appetizer and sandwich. They stayed open throughout the pandemic last year, even through that weird period when we had the curfews. I appreciated that. Update 7/10/20 - Go go 7 is a neighborhood standout! They've stayed opened during these tough times, doing takeout and providing good comfort food to everyone in the area. Small store in a hidden corner but a small gem spot. Lots of Korean food options at a pretty fair value. Portion sizes for the price is very fair and food was fairly good. I hope sometime this year, I will finally get to stop eating as much in my car and stop collecting so much plastic forks and bags! I can only use so many plastic bags as inner garbage bags at home! Go Go 7 has one of the most comforting Korean foods in SF and helps me forget for a moment that I'm eating in my car. Love their grilled kalbi and grilled chicken! Great price and generous portions. Tasty generous portions of banchan given as well. Play some BTS or Blackpink on my stereo, 먹자, " Let's eat".

I was requested to pay when I ordered. After 5+ years of weekly visits. I will never return. Sorry can never make a difference. If you are African or African American and you are asked to pay first take your money some place else or do without. Yep, secret neighborhood Korean place on 1300 Ocean Avenue. Great in between class or after work with family. #Go Go7. Great, food fresh with exceptional pan chans. The fish cake was so flavorful while the kimchi and daikon radish was crunchy and spicy. The service was good it was very busy the two waitress worked very hard. Looking forward to working my way through the menu. The portions are generous and affordable the most expensive items are $15.00.

Really nice, friendly people working here. Menu is simple Korean staples with a good variety of banchan. I'd rate the food a 3.5 in terms of execution and quality - tastiest thing we ordered was the tofu stew, and weakest was the chive pancake. Large portions.

The food are good, the portion is enough for 2 people to share and the price are high about 12-15. The 2 items meal cost about 13-14, though most of the meats cost additional (~$1-2). The place itself is quite small and the tables were quite sticky. They are open only from Wed-Sun, and closed Mon and Tues.

You can tell the owners take great pride in their work and what they serve. They are hard working and put a lot of effort into making their food. Let's start with my daughter's bulgogi sandwich. The bread was perfectly crisp outside but soft inside, the size was generous and the amount of Bulkogi inside was equally generous. You can tell they have experienced hands in the kitchen, even the fries were very well prepared. Bento box was more of the same level of quality. They serve a veggie tempura which is delicious in itself. It's a haystack of julienned vegetables including sweet potato for a nice sweetness. Kimchee fried rice is delicious because their kimchee is delicious and that's the foundation of any kimchee based dish. Once again expertly prepared and a gentle m generous portion, at least two and a half meals for me. Lastly the Banchan, they are delicious, once again made by someone who really cares about what they're serving. Although the Bulkogi isn't cooked over charcoal or a broiler, it's still good. My father likes to eat here so that says a lot.

Im sorry to say I disliked this despite the beautiful artwork here by a young woman who works here. The bulgogi was hard to chew and the chicken has no flavor. All the food looked wilted. 3 just because they offered me a discount after I mentioned the 2 star post.

After the change in ownership, the prices went up noticeably, but the food quality hasn’t improved to match. A bit disappointing, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

This place used to be 5/5 for everything but there’s a new owner now. Prices went up and there are fewer vegetarian options. Less variety of side dishes as well. My bibimbap was full of raw salad greens that I picked out, but the greens made all of the food cold by the time it came out. I’m probably not coming back.

I wanted to love this place. I limit eating out. My friend and I were prepared to visit the Ramen place down the street, but it was closed. I heard great things about Go Go 7 for neighborhood associates, and Even the Yelp reviews are outstanding. During my visit on March 23rd, 2022, I first found a long dog hair in the Bibimbap. I didn’t take a photo because I didn’t want to make a big deal in front of the other customers enjoying their food. I kindly brought awareness to the lady; she apologized and replaced the dish. Usually, that would be my queue leave, but I was out with a friend enjoying herself. We ordered a few dishes to share. Everything was fine until I started to look closely at the food. We found hair entangled in the Bulgogi beef. The food made me feel sick, so I stopped eating. I later grabbed probiotics at whole foods. The air is stale in the restaurant; the floors are dirty. When the young man came to remove the other customer's dishes, he didn’t wipe the table. I feel like this was a reminder from God to eat at home. Since the pandemic, I have become more food conscious, so this experience messed with my gut health and head. I don’t enjoy leaving a 1 star. I was prepared to go three stars until we discovered the second hair in the dish my friend ordered. I am grateful I examine food. Please examine yours and have a better experience than I did.

Portion are so much smaller than they used to be before the ownership change. Banchan, meat, kimbap (one piece) everything was much less. They did not marinate or salt the meat. We lost a good restaurant.
