It's so amazing to find a place that advertises Birria and actually uses either goat or lamb! I had the quesabirria here and it was very yummy and authentic. A rare find in San Jose and I'll definitely be returning for some more!

Ordered the 3 tacos + consome combo. You have to try it out!!! Service was great too, you order at the counter and they serve you at your table or outside. Definitely will recommend the place, and will go again.

Best birria in San Jose! The Tacos Dorados Combo is amazing! It comes with 3 lamb quesabirria tacos that are garnished with onions, cilantro, & lime. They have two salsas, although I prefer the orange one that’s a bit spicier. The drinks are reasonably priced as well—a 12-oz Modelo just over $4, and the 32-oz is around $9 to $10. The restaurant is spotless—every table is wiped down between customers and the bathrooms are cleaned frequently.

The owner Zaira is incredibly accommodating and welcoming . I had a hard time choosing between the super burrito and the taco dorado combo because everything sounded so good! The entire staff was amazing , and I loved being able to watch them prepare my food fresh right in front of me. Definitely a great experience , recommend!!!!

The Birria taste here is 5 STAR! hands down! I know.. I've basically tried all the places I've found. 😅 The customer service here I found to be excellent in all my visits so far, very friendly staff. The only downside of this restaurant I see is that it doesn't have the "look" of the quality of food it serves (5 Stars). The place looks "Plain" but has TV's and music for enjoyment. If you haven't tried this place so far and enjoy Birria, come here.. you won't regret it.

I am hooked on their birria, and the whole fish cooked in tamarind sauce! The tamarind sauce is delightfully sour, and creates a fusion of flavors. The fish is crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, and with the tanginess of the sauce it creates a sensational combination! We have been to the place five times now for this particular dish!

This is a neighborhood fast food restaurant. Since it is next to a gas station, I decided to try it. The price is reasonable, the cashier is very friendly, the food takes about 10 minutes to wait, it is hot and delicious, and it is a great value ！

I would have given it a 5 star, but their birria broth was a bit too watery for my taste, and waiting time for to go orders was ridiculous.

I had no idea SJ had a great spot for birria tacos! Recommend getting the 3 birria tacos con consomme special, it's affordable and delicious!

When we nicely asked for new ones or hot ones, the lady gave us attitude and the tortillas still came out cold and wet. We know the owner. He's an amazing owner but his daughter who has taken his place doesn't seem to care about the service of the restaurant. Instead of solving the situation, she escalated it. We make time out of our day to even recommend and invite other people to eat here and this is how we get treated over tortillas? Never coming here again. Cherry on top paid 40$ for 2 plates of food.. There are other great places to go to.
