Great place been comming here for 14years same plate spicy shrimp, shrimp taco, cocktail, and michiladas my favorite. Prices do go up every time I stop by but it's worth it. Service is good, weekends are the busiest.

Best mariscos in all the Bay Area, except for possibly the Peruvian restaurant in Half Moon Bay. Pretty much every time I get the Tostada Mixta -- their best deal. It has ceviche on the bottom, then camarones y pulpo stacked real high for the price. It's best to have avocado added, for an extra dollar or two. Then order a jamaica in the big glass (de vidrio), not the plastic glass. Very high in antioxidants. The pulpo is almost always (Once in over 50 visits, there was a new woman working and it was tough. That was over 7 years ago.) cooked perfectly. Their shrimp, as well, is high quality and pristine, with no veins or tail remnants, ever. Mexican League soccer is normally on, when they're playing. Chivas (de Guadalajara) or Cruz Azul (de DF) are represented, not America (de DF). Don't wear America logo or they'll take longer and charge more. What's never made sense to me is I thought San Juan was in Michoacan, but haven't observed either Morelia or Patzingan represented. Wouldn't wear either of those shirts, because it's 50:50 whether you'll pay an extra $5 or so per person, plus have to wait.

This place makes the best shrimp cocktails in San Jose. You can also add oysters, clams, or octopus to your cocktail. They are not stingy with the seafood. You always get overloaded with shrimp. I love this place 😋

This place has been here over 20 years and I am only hearing about this just now one might ask. One of the best fried tilapia I ever had in the US. It’s very neat, made to order so steamy hot, meaty tilapia 🐠 and comes with a side of rice, avocado, tortilla and salad. We also tried the spicy tilapia - I would say add your spice yourself later on as the one with no spice is better. Fairly priced, great ambiance if you decide to eat it there, good drinks and live music too with ⚽️ from different leagues on tv. Coming back 🔜

I really love this place!! I would come every week if I could but my husband just doesn't love seafood as much as me. My favorites here are their fish plates with garlic, and ceviche. The staff are very friendly towards me and some are very genuine with their smiles. They also check in to make sure everything is good but I'm comfortable enough to walk up and ask too. There is a ton of seating in front, and back, and to the side and is often full of people (but not packed). There is even a jukebox that people use regularly. They also are well stacked with sauce it makes me so happy. Even if it's just the shrimp tacos we come in often and enjoy the amazingly high quality food and atmosphere for an affordable price.

I think the main dishes definitely stand out, as well with the sides that come with the dishes, they definitely seem to pay attention to flavor unlike your typical Mexican joints. My only issue is the diversity of the menu its definitely a niche menu that caters to very few dishes.

This was my first time having cocktel de camaron and it was pretty good. I am not a person that usually goes to marisco restaurants but this place was recommended so wanted to give it a try. The prices are pretty reasonable I think. The service was good. This place also gets pretty packed, a good indicator that it is good. The reason for the 4 stars instead of a 5 is that there were a couple things that they were out of, so a few members of our party had to change their orders.

Very delicious Mexican style seafood. My wife and I love the super cocktails and shrimp and rice dishes. We try to get food from here often, especially when we are near by at Happy Hollow.

Food: They have a large selection of seafood. The drinks were good as well. All their shrimp plates were delicious. The shrimp tacos are a must!. The fish plates on the other hand were underwhelming in flavor and over cooked. Service: Service was kind and friendly! The food was out super fast. Ambience: The inside was nice, it was clean and they had live music + streaming the game. The parking is a small nightmare I would recommend parking on the street if you have a bigger car. Overall the restaurant itself was great. I would definitely recommend.

I used to go to this place because it was really good and they had great customer service. I told my husband about this place of how good it was and he decided to give it a try. His words when we left were, "that place disappointed me". It's rare when the parking gets full since it's a small parking lot. The outside looks beat up and like a place you wouldn't want to be on your own. The inside has a lot of tables, but the many times I have gone, I have never seen it packed. The chairs and table need to be changed out completely because of how outdated they are. The waitress that helped us had an attitude. Once the food came out, she didn't bother to come back and ask if everything ok. When we were done, we had to go up to pay because she wouldn't bring the check. The food wasn't good at all. My son got fish and chips, it was dry and only 1 piece of fish. The rice on another plate was dry with no flavor. The coctel de camaron was ok. The horchata tasted old.

Disappointed. Prices are high for the poor quality food served. Also has poor quality service.

Ate their cheap crackers and there was something hard inside looked like a chiped tooth. Also food had no flavor. There shrimp seemed like very cheap quality almost as if they where soaked in water.

The Service here is Very POOR.... I asked 4 waiters for Tosadas... I had to finally get up myself and ask the front.. I asked for 2 eXtra plates for my food and Again never got them.. I asked to speak to the Manager SERGIO and he Had the nerve to tell me with the cashier in the front "HE WAS TO BUSY BUT HE WOULD TALK TO THE WAITRESS.. " now I know why the Waitress Julia was rude because the Owner/Manager didnt have any proper People Skills to deal wi th a customer complaint.. The food might Be good but the Service will make me NEVER come back AGAIN.....

Although the place was crowded, they did give us the whole back area to ourselves. The reason for a one star is because I got an attitude from one of the waitress when I asked her if she could open the bathroom that was where we were seated at, she said "oh you have to go around to the back on the other side, knowing I had someone in the wheelchair. It would've been difficult to maneuver a wheelchair around the crowded area. After asking another waitress, she ended up opening the bathroom that was close to where we were seated at.

I ordered half order of oysters, and aguachile tostadas for dinner and got food poisoning. I advise everyone to stay away from the raw oysters. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to a friend.
