wonderful Mediterranean restaurant with a great happy hour menu. We love their food and drinks, but it was a bit quiet in the afternoon when we went. So we love to come back to have a proper meal here.

I was really impressed by this Mediterranean spot and I’m so happy we have it in the south Bay. The meatballs were to die for and all the dishes really complimented each other. The service is great. My only complaint as I don’t love how close the seat is. So maybe reserve and ask for a table not a both… otherwise great date night spot!

Ok so let me start off by saying that the interior of this restaurant is amongst the most stellar I’ve ever seen. The presentation on the food was pure art. I don’t recall that the service was very memorable but good enough that the hospitality expertly carried out whatever we needed. Yes it’s very expensive and it will make a solid dent in your wallet. But if you want to splurge a little the fish / hummus platter / lamb shank were phenomenal.

Cauliflower was pretty good and so was hummus platter (pass on lamb add on), next time take three item on platter skip the fava bean and hummus. Wife didn't like butternut squash soup and patatas bravas was not up to our liking. Chicken (half I think) was well made but I guess I like skewer/kebab style chicken.

Great food! Great vibe, especially if you take the outdoor seating on a nice day or evening. Service was average, but maybe a little slow. Because of the outdoor seating perhaps?? Here’s what we had. The Mezze Platter appetizer was three dips, hummus, tzatziki, and I forgot the third. These were served with soft pita bread and crispy fried bread chips. All good for mixing and matching. Then first main course was a whole fried fish. I believe it was grilled. Very tasty and quite a lot of meat, believe it or not. So good! And half chicken on a bed of greens. It sounds basic but it was moist and just enough salt to make it tasty. Excellent. We really enjoy the outdoor seating. It’s on the west de facing the top of Santana Row so it’s lively and energetic. It’s well kept and they even had more cushiony seats right next to us. Kind of like patio furniture. I feel the best times to come are spring and summer to get the entire vibe.

Beautiful atmosphere inside and out. We sat outside and there were plenty of shady cozy spots. Service was excellent, very attentive wait staff who came to the table often to check in. The food was very tasty, and flavorful. Green eggs and lamb, was filling with the chili hot sauce it made it even better. The Brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly and have great flavor. The spritzer drinks were also very refreshing. I would come back for sure . The only thing that was a bit annoying was the online menu was not what was available, because we had dishes that we wanted to try based from the online menu and they were only available during the week. However the food and service made up for it.

Tried this place for the first time. The ambience was lovely and inviting, but the food was a bit underwhelming. We ordered the five-dip appetizer and Brussels sprouts, which was good. For the main course, we had the mushroom flatbread and green goddess pasta, both were just okay. Service felt a little rushed, as the mains came out right after the appetizers, but the staff was responsive and took them back when we mentioned the table was too crowded.

1. The Branzino Fish - was too good - we ordered it twice on the same day! Must try! All the google reviews mentioned and it was worth it! 2. Nest Dessert - was also very good! 3. Meso’s Brick Chicken - was very well cooked and soft, it is mild in spices but flavourful but cannot beat the fish! 4. Mutton Flatbread- Mutton was very well cooked and tasty, perfect spices and taste. 6. Trio Dip - Okay 7. Mushroom flatbread - okaish 8. Brussel Sprouts - can skip 9. Sautéed Prawns - Very flavourful, perfectly cooked and juicy - will recommend. 10. Passion Fruit Ginger Soda Drink - Good - not too sweet- perfect for my taste. The only con is limited menu - only one chicken dish. Hospitality - was top notch, staff recommended good options to us and food was quickly served. Very transparent on timing and other details. We did not feel rushed even at a 8.45 PM reservation on a Friday night. Vibe was pretty good and lit!

Overall: 3.5/5 Food: Slightly above average for the price. We ordered several appetizers. Flavor was good, but many dishes were too oily. I had the 12 oz baharat spiced strip loin. It tasted similar to a standard steak and did not stand out as expected. Our group ordered similar cuts, all medium rare, but there was inconsistency. One steak was slightly overcooked and lightly burnt. Service: Attentive and professional. Atmosphere: Clean, modern, and comfortable. Good experience overall, but improving consistency and reducing oil would elevate the food quality.

I had the lamb pita. It was very tasty and juicy. The service on the other hand is extremely slow. Started when we walked in. Stood at the entrance for several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once sealed and we ordered it took 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Lunch service should be much quicker

I’ve been to Meso a few times and always enjoyed the food—it’s consistently flavorful and well-prepared. The ambiance is also lovely, making it a great spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a nice dinner. However, the service has been hit or miss. Sometimes it’s attentive and smooth, but other times I’ve had to repeatedly ask for basic things, and the wait staff seemed distracted or slow to respond. I hope they can bring more consistency to the service, as the food definitely deserves it.

It’s a beautiful space and interior, items that we ordered were so-so; I took 1 star away for lack of flavors and 1 for using too much oil. I appreciate the generosity and understand that usually a little more oil makes food taste more delicious but there should be a line… It was impossible to eat the charred eggplant is was soaked in so much oil. My sister said it her chicken pita was okay but she wouldn’t come back. I’m grateful that they offer one plant-based main course which is vegan pappardelle but the recipe needs more developing flavor-wise. I didn’t try falafel and hummus because these items are easy to get/make. While staff is friendly the service was not attentive given there were only couple other tables — I flashed a server and he brought a check but never came to pick up a payment. We ended up going up and paying at the door.

The service was good but the food was below average. The appetizers were very bland, you'll get much tastier hummus at falafel stop or any other shawarma food truck. The lamb shank on flatbread had a lot of skin and fats which made it disgusting, the taste of the lamb was not good. The dessert was smelling like fridge and it was stale.

BAD EXPERIENCE. Overall, the food was just average. Of the five items on the appetizer platter, I only liked two. I ordered the lamb shank, which was also just okay; the lamb itself didn’t have a great flavor, but the couscous and other sides were much better. The best dish I had that night was the salmon with pomegranate, which was really delicious. I also tried the chocolate date cake, but it did not taste good at all. The only aspect that met my expectations was the service, which was quite good. One thing that bothered me was when we arrived; we were seated far from the window. I noticed a nice table for two by the window and asked if we could switch to it. Unfortunately, the lady who assisted us said no, claiming it was reserved. It was frustrating because I watched that table remain empty for almost 90 minutes while we were there. Because of this experience, along with the overall taste of the food, I probably won’t be coming back.
